Pizza Street in Hounslow

We have previously eaten here on 2 occasions, since our last visit there appears to have been a change in ownership and as a result, a downward turn in the quality of the offerings, very much a self service establishment now, staff clearly have limited experience in the food and beverage industry. The pizza has a focaccia base, we choose a buffalo mozzarella topping. The pizza was presented with no cutlery or explanation that it was available on the counter. Similarly, beer was served just in a can with no glass and my wine was presented in a sherry glass. The pizza was poor, difficult to cut through the base, tomato base was poured out of a can, cheese was cold, no attempt to melt it. The food was akin to the sort of frozen slop one can purchase frozen in the High Street for £2, drinks were over priced given the quality. Really disappointed, will not return.

I used to love chill since 93 so much, was a weekly regular, however they’ve now changed their menu and the pizza bases are pre-made.. same price for less pizza as well. Sad that they’ve changed something that was working so well. Here’s hoping they’ll go back to what they were before.

Recently renovated and a nice venue. Unfortunately they have changed the menu and the lovely old pizzas have gone and are now Focaccia bread with a topping warmed in the oven. Lots of people will love it I am sure but for me bring back real pizzas!

Ordered takeaway. Two margarita pizzas. So disappointing! Small square pizza made with pre cooked bases. Honestly my kids could have made this at home. Won’t be going back. Where did the beautiful thin crust round pizzas posted in prior reviews go?

Not great at all. Very slow service, in fact I ordered two pizzas to start, then 5 mins later ordered a third one. The third one came 10 minutes before my first two I ordered. I could have mentioned it to the staff when they asked, but I felt bad for them as they seemed new in then business. Also very tasteless. Not worth the money we spent for sure.

I've had at least 5 orders from here in the last few months and every time has been delicious. The pepperoni pizza has the perfect amount of topping to cheese and is on a lovely thin base. Amazing friendly and fast service each time I've phoned and collected. Thank you very much for the yummy pizza! We will of course be back again soon

If I buy a Ferrari based on almost 5 star reviews I don’t expect a clapped out Vauxhall Astra to arrive. In terms of applying this to the pizza that arrived that’s what happened. 21 quid on garlic bread and a pizza that was basically slapped onto left over garlic bread. See picture for proof. Whoever gives these jokers anything above a star, which you have to by default is clearly a hobo who found a slice in a bin or on the floor

Brilliant pizza. Cooked to perfection, great flavour and amazing homemade sauce. Fast and friendly service, would come here again and again.

Surprised by the low reviews. This is one of the best pizza takeaways we have ever had. Very thin and tasty and also decent milkshakes. To eat in its more designed as a quick bite rather than a full dining experience.

This is best takeaway pizza in Chiswick - and the best gluten free pizza I've ever had. Beats Dominos hands down

While the food and drinks were delicious, we felt rather judged by the waiter for ordering two large pizzas between the two of us, with snide comments being made about the quantity of food we had managed to consume. Neither of us need at all worry about our weight, both being elite athletes, and we feel it is incredibly inappropriate to be judged on the amount of food we would like to eat.

Pizzas are very big (ideal for sharing) with a good choice of toppings. Excellent value for money. Ideal location, very close to Turnham Green underground station. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Great choice of milkshakes. This is ideal for family dining as well as for couples/friends etc. The staff make you feel very welcome from the moment you arrive.

not great. the place is far too small. its based on a american diner but its impossible to sit comfortably. impossible to chat in private. plus the food is not that good. better pizza nearby

At last, somewhere in London that serves New York style large pizzas - fantastic!I was born and grew up in New York and have been living in London for over 40 years - during which time I've pined for my NY pizzas. Now, at last, I can buy them right here!

*To be clear - this review is of their other branch in White City which I cannot find on TripAdvisor*Popped in to get a quick takeaway for lunch. Ordered a pizza and a side of sweetcorn at 12.56, food arrived at 13.30. That was time I didn't have - apparently the delay was the sweetcorn - I would never have ordered if I'd been told it would take so long. I did mention this to the bloke behind the till who wasn't remotely interested. Anyway, turns out my pizza was sitting on the counter most of that time and was stone cold by the time I came to eat it. Can't think of a good reason to go back, which is a shame....disappointing food and a complete waste of time and money...

Pizza Street (or Pizza Treat as it now seems to be called) serves great pizzas loaded with topping. It’s a very casual setting. It’s always fun to share an XL pizza - they let you go half and half if you can’t agree on the toppings!

Visited Pizza Street with Family for Pizza on their way home and glad we did. The restaurant is under new management.The restaurant is nice, clean with a good atmosphere. The pizzas were really good, some of the best we’ve ever had. The staff were friendly attentive and welcoming. Will definitely be returning again.

Probably top 5 in my most regrettable pizzas. I ordered the pepperoni and garlic with cheese pizza The cheese is cheap crumbly... Most likely from Tescos and you wouldn't be able to taste the garlic underneath all that oil. They advertised that they put an extra amount of pepperoni but only got the basic minimum. Overall I wouldn't eat from here again. Better off with a cheese toastie.

We’re from New York and this is the BEST pizza we have had in Chiswick. All the high street pizza chains pale in comparison! Pizza is so fresh and the crust is super thin. The shakes are also excellent! Not sure why all the bad reviews- clearly not the case as we eat here at least once a week and have NEVER had a bad experience.

We were in the area today and walked past pizza street. We read the reviews here before we went in were so glad we did. The Pizza was delicious and hugeee, the garlic bread was amazing and the milkshake was great too. We spoke to the new owner (took over last month) and what a delightful man. We will definitely be back.

1 pizza large ( ci sono 3 misure: small. Large. Extra large. questa era la large) 10 pound. La Ham: prosciutto affumicato funghi cipolla. Per essere a Londra non era male. Personale cortese e veloce.

Worst experience I have had in Chiswick for many years. Waited far too long for the 'food' in the restaurant to then tell me I didn't order. Well why would I be in the restaurant in the first place had I not ordered food! Complete lack of interest or care when I questioned them regarding my order and no offer of making it up - just blamed me to check what I had paid for! Will never go here again and will never recommend anyone visits this establishment. Many other reputable options in Chiswick to go to.

A decent selection of pizzas, but a bit cramped and of only moderate value. Good for a quick bite, but don't expect anything special.

There is a lot of competition especially in West London. Started out with a flurry but has totally fizzled out. Where once the topping went to the edge of the base it now falls well short. Where once the toppings were crisp, fresh and plentiful they are now limpid and miserly. Smarten up or ship out!

The menu is a little hard to intpret and we under ordered as a result (instead of sizes or number of slices, the restaurant uses the same icons as a car rental and we couldn't relate that to the number of people we were feeding). I suspect if you eat in this is not an issue.

This is third time I'm eating in this place, all i can say its nice, soft and tasty pizza. Will go back again. 👍🏻 I think all they need is nice smiling staff.

Enjoyed the pepperoni pizza, it was freshly made, very hot and excellent. Plenty of topping. Great variety, friendly people & a cool Kopperburg ok prices, served quickly as it was quiet no frills pizza lace. Good experience.

Family quick late lunch with a beer. Food was really good and the milkshakes delicious. Service a little disinterested as appeared to be preparing for the evening. Still let us get on with watching the world go by.

Ordered pizza for delivery. I can understand why they are running big discounts. This pizza is beyond horrible. Had the pepperoni. The menu said it has a lot of pepperoni. It barely had 2 slices per slice. Pizza is dry, no cheese or sauce. Saving grace was £12 for two pizzas. Threw half of mine away it was so bad. Do yourself a favour and try pizza from somewhere else.

We went there for a party the food was ok but it took over 40 mins to come the milkshakes were very thick it is very small so we had to squeeze in and the bathrooms were completely flooded literally so we couldn't use them. there is no nearby parking but my friend lived close by so we walked instead

Pizza are excellent! The decoration of the restaurant is really nice! However every time I am going I can't see any smile on the staff face! That's a shame especially when pizza are quite expensive!

Wanted a quick and easy lunch with our 4 year old who loves Pizza. Good size choices from a slice to a pizza the size of a wheel which would satisfy 3 adults!

Zwei XL Pizzen reichten für 6 Leute, war vom Preis her wirklich ein Schnäppchen. Service sehr höflich. Allerdings ziemlich enges Restaurant wo es nicht sonderlich gemütlich oder romantisch ist. Ist eher nur was für "lass uns ne Pizza essen und wieder gehen", einen langen gemütlichen Abend wird man dort wohl kaum verbringen. Pizza war wirklich lecker und hatte frische Zutaten.

We've eaten at this restaurant several times now (both eat-in (tiny) and delivery) and each and every time we've tried a new pie(s) and never have we been disappointed. The pizzas are served piping hot and feature a light, chewy crust that isn't too dense nor too crispy and are piled high with lots of great toppings from the traditional - pepperoni to the exotic - wagyu beef anyone? Pizzas come in several sizes and there are soft drinks, beer and wine if you choose to eat in. My only quibble - they seem to love onions and you tend to find them in most pies (sometimes when it's not listed!) I always double-check to see that they're omitted. Other than that minor issue, we love this place as our go-to pizza joint.

Tasty thin crust pizza, and a cool place to eat. Pizzas are decent value - £10 for a 13-15" that will fill one person up, or £15 for an 18" that's big enough for two. Slices seem a little expensive on their own (£3.50 for a slice - hardly NYC style!), but overall I'm impressed.

Let's start by saying I love pizza and also by saying this isn't the best pizza in London.... yes there are places where the chef or owners arrived two days ago from Naples which are amazing.

Nos atendieron muy amables, lamentablemente tenían problemas con la maquina para pagos con tarjeta, por lo que tuvimos que buscar un cajero para poder pedir una pizza. Pedimos una pizza y dos botellas individuales de cerveza, estaban buenas, pero apenas frías. La pizza cumple para quitar el hambre, pero ni la masa ni los ingredientes destacan por sabor o calidad.

I was so looking forward to trying this place, but left disappointed. Arrived to the restaurant to encounter a rather rude lady behind the till who did not greet us.

I asked if it was possible to get a takeaway. The waitress was very rude and simply handed me a menu without saying yes or no. I then repeated myself which returned an abrupt 'YES'. Such bad manners but nonetheless i ordered. When my order arrived, a different waitress decided to continue talking to her colleague whilst waving a card machine at me; a slight look in my direction and she would have noticed I had the requisite cash in my hand - unbelievably, this continued for some time until she finally looked up, then mumbled something under her breath as if she had been inconvenienced.

2 slice of pica with one beer 11.50- really?pica was flavorless...no cheese, chorizo all over minced meet few spots....what is this? Never again -thank you

Not the most mind blowing pizza but still tasty and you can't beat the wood fired taste of the crust. Will be back to try it again!

So this little place has just opened in Chiswick. There are lots of choices for pizza in W4 so they were taking a risk particularly with a Franco Manca just round the corner with never ending queues of customers waiting for a table - but oh oh oh! Awesome result! A very limited menu (perfect - particularly the pepperoni one), three sizes (xl is the biggest pizza I have ever seen),fantastic homemade coleslaw and little pots of delicious ranch dressing. Brilliant sourdough base pizzas from a very impressive pizza oven. Friendly service. Super-busy on Friday nights. The only downside is the completely bizarre button that you use to open the door with - mistake. But this is a find!

From the pizza to the design of the toilets, everything about this place is simple but quirky! Friendly staff and GREAT selection of beers. Well done guys, please open one in East London!

Stopped for a quick pizza and a beer on Sunday. The Place was clean and inviting. There's no table service and you have to order at the counter and wait with a 'buzzer-gadget' till your order is ready to collect. Despite plastic cutlery and paper plates, which I found slightly off putting, the atmosphere is good and the food is delicious. We shared extra large pepperoni pizza @15 pounds, which we struggled to finish. Excellent experience all around. Friendly staff. Good quality craft beers. Top marks.

We had two giant half & half pizzas: 1 cheese / meatball; 1 beast / sausage. They were all great. Beast was awesome!
