Pizza Paradise in Derby

I wouldn't normally write a poor review but I was so dissapointed with my experience here Poor service over the telephone Food was well over an hour late Was constantly given incorrect timing. No tracking was available and it didn't arrive as hot as a takeaway should be. Pizza tasted stale but the bottom of the bases were burnt and the garlic bread had no flavour. I ended up binning most of it which I wouldn't normally do. I've had a poorly stomach since so unfortunately I cannot recommend this place. :(

Ordered 2 kebabs , food tasted like it was 2 days old , defiantly been reheated , food tasted salty and stale!, couple of people I know who ordered from here said the same . Please don’t order unless you don’t mind 3 day old meat and want to go to the toilet every 5 mins .

Food came 20 minutes after the meal was confirmed to have been delivered by the just eat app

food was good, shame one came with salad even though I didn't order it. it went cold by the time I picked off everything I didn't like.

We orderd and got a slice of cheese cake for free best before date 28/02 /24 absolutely shocking how do you not check your food and we ate the meal before we saw this wonder what else is out of date don't order from there

I always have my kebabs from here and they are usually spot on 👌🏻.. Unfortunately for some reason they seem to be lacking on the salad just recently.. Ive literally been havin a slice of cucumber, a slice of tomato, a few slithers of onion, a few bits of cabbage and a few slithers of lettuce 🤷🏼‍♀️ not enough to feed a rabbit on really.. But, despite this, the chicken tikka is always cooked perfectly, shish and donner always tastes great too 💯 please put more salad on the kebabs 🙏🏻

Didn't have the bbq base and didn't have pepperoni....two of the key ingredients for the pizza

Been my go-to place for a kebab/burger for a few years now and the delivery is always on time, food is hot and tasty.

The garlic bread was not a traditional one as it was iron a pizza base. Biggest issue was that it was more like a Margherita with Olives sliced on top of it. And lacked garlic

We chose a meal deal offer choose 2 pizzas and any 3 toppings, so our expectation was you’d get the pizza plus the 3 toppings, but this wasn’t thr case, for example one of the pizzas we chose was a bbq chicken pizza with green pepper and onion, with the 3 toppings of chicken tikka, sweetcorn and pineapple, we got a margarita pizza with the 3 toppings only, no BBQ chicken, no pepper, no onion. The pizza was bland, no taste to it at all. The second pizza was a different choice but again margarita

Food was piping hot and came within 20 mins ! very happy and the food was excellent as always . 👌

On the order we received a chicken burger instead of a plain burger as ordered and the lamb flamer was missing its chips. They did deliver the chips after we’d rang and told them.

Not enough shish. Food quality was perfect. Cooked perfectly, fresh and hot, only had about 4 or 5 pieces of shish. Other than that, perfect

The special offer is very good value and tasty even if they forgot the coleslaw

The order has been a total nightmare. I ordered hours in advance and my number was what I assume was ignored. Because I asked when the food would be coming, When they answered me the first time as it was already late by this point, I called on a separate phone and they answered right away and it still had not been sent out. Then they changed it to, that they are stuck in traffic.

The food wasn’t great. We didn’t order much and it still took over an hour to arrive to us, and when it did, it was cold and not nice tasting, not worth the money.

We haven’t had Pizza for ages because it tends to arrive dried up , not much topping and unappetising .Yesterday my wife persuaded me to try Pizza Paradise on Uttoxeter Road. I have to say it was brilliant . Plenty of topping , cooked properly , nice and juicy , everything was spot on .We’ll definitely be regular customers now , just hope this wasn’t a one off experience.

We ordered a Mexican pizza with mushrooms. Understandably it's Christmas Eve and we expected it to tale a while, but we tried calling the takeaway about 8 times - no answer at all. We also requested an update text through JustEat which we also didn't receive. We had a mushroom and pepperoni pizza delivered with no jalapeños or chilli beef. The chips were actually really nice.

Rubbish pizza the base was no more than 3mm thick. The chicken burger was awful will never order from here again.

I order my pizza through FOODHUB from Pizza Paradise I don’t think so this is paradise My pizza arrive 1 hour 20 minutes I live five minutes away from the place My two pizzas were burnt very greasy and oily. Horrible taste I ordered the same crust One pizza was thinner second one was thicker makes no sense I ordered from this place first, and last never again,

Ordered for pick up went to collect not ready, had to go back went back got home kebab wasn't cooked properly had to throw away

Took over 1 hour 45 mins from order to delivery, it’s was 20 mins past the delivery time, called to ask where food was, told we’re busy ITS A WEDNESDAY, when the food finally got here it was stone cold. Sorry but you got me at were busy on a Wednesday. Won’t be ordering from you again. Abysmal

Food was very late said 625-640 arrived at 715 food was Luke warm and pizza and garlic bread were burnt . Very disappointed so wouldn’t use again . Driver did apologise but as food wasn’t good would not reorder

Very late. Then lied and said driver was stuck in traffic when food was scolding so clearly only just made and delivered when I flagged as late to just eat.

No tomato on the base of the pizza. There was more grease then there was anything else. 🤢🤢🤢

Delivered wrong food late and when tried calling just got the phone put down

Delayed several times, no fault of the restaurant though as they explained a driver had been in an accident when I phoned and offered to collect after it had been delayed several times. I had just asked that the food be hot and fresh when I collected it. The food was warm enough when eaten and the drinks offered were appreciated.

Late and stone cold unfortunately, never had a problem before £14 in the bin.

Food come burnt. When you eating, you are feeling burnt. So is no teasty. Im not recomend any more!

The pizza was OK but greasy the wedges were reheated and had a burnt taste so I couldn't eat them,I would like a refund for them

Kebab was fine and the kebab meat was very nice. The pizza however, and this is not the first time, was terrible. I even downloaded there app and asked for extra pizza sauce but received gooey cheese on bread with no sauce. Clearly nobody tastes the food it was awful, I threw the whole pizza in the bin but ate the kebab. When you're advertising yourself as a pizza place I wouldn't mind throwing away the kebab. Not good, though the delivery guy was friendly and even called me back because he had forgot my fanta.

Terrible pizza today stone cold tasteless. Tasted like it had been sat for days. Reheated it but it tasted so terrible. So disappointed won’t be ordering from you again.

Pizza was good but chips were a bit soggy, took about 1 hr 15 mins to arrive which is unusual as this takeaway is usually very quick

Ordered the 12" pizza deal. Wanted 2 pepperoni plus' with the extra toppings, got the extra toppings but no pepperoni. Other than that it was okay.

got delivered the wrong drink & the driver didn't follow delivery instructions. That aside, the driver was bang on time & very apologetic about the drink. Food was hot & tasty.

Great place, staff are nice and the food is great, it will take me a while to sample the whole menu but I'm off to a good start, burgers, fries, kebab and pizzas are all good, they also do pasta dishes and have their own app for ordering.

Margherita pizza, with mushrooms and pineapple and garlic toppings, must have fell off via delivery. needed a magnifying glass to find what toppings were there. At least I asked for 10inch, and I got 10inch. As for the cheesy chips, well the cheese must have melted as it left the restaurant. I don't know, but ever since COVID, it seems that takeaway service has been rock bottom. Totally disappointed and dissatisfied. And the cost goes up, yet the service is absolutely dire!!

Got a notification that it was on the way and it took half an hour to deliver it.we live round the corner from them.and the pizza was burnt ..not impressed tonight.

The large kebab was more like a small … need to either make bigger portion or remove large off website

Ordered a chicken flamer with no salad (have previously had this from here). Received chicken tika with salad. No nan bread. Phoned up and was offered a nan bread to be delivered or a free nan bred on next order. No offer of having a chicken flamer.

Pizzas didn’t taste the same as normal . Very greasy

This was the first time that I have ever ordered a pizza and upon receiving it found it to be black and burnt all around the edge, and to top it off (or not!!) the extra topping of olives had been missed but charged for, very disappointed
