Pizza Palace in Charnwood

Was the first place I found that sold kebabs. On the good side: it was cheap, the staff were friendly, and the portion size was good. Otherwise, it was just a slightly rubbish kebab with no part of it really doing what it was supposed to. In fairness, the place has "pizza" in the name rather than "kebab". The pizzas could be quite nice for all I know.

Doner kebab was such small portion not a large, there were pieces of meat so hard they snapped Chicken kebab looked like been thrown around was squashed and a mess. Pizzas were OK and chips were extremely salty !!

Friendly delivery driver. Drinks arrived cold and food arrived warm. Pizzas delicious as always and chicken bites were so yummy!! Always a good meal from here

Always order from Pizza Palace, best pizzas in Loughborough. Never had a problem and delivery is always quick.

Wouldn't order from them again because I ordered one pizza with double pepperoni and cheese and one with double cheese and got both pizzas with double cheese ONLY

Have always ordered from here but the most recent order was extremely disappointing. Asked for salad on the kebabs and we got 3 slices of cucumber and a tiny bit of very sad looking lettuce.

Ordered from here many times before food is always very good. Went for something new this time and tried the full load fries. I'm a bit of a chipaholic and wow these were amazing. The description sounded like a dream and when they came it did not disappoint.

Will be the last time order from here.. Pizza Palace charged us cash yet took it from card details the following day, after going through the right channels for them to correct this they have denied it..!!

They called me saying they cant deliver my food because they are closing it was 15minutes before closing time. And proceeds to tell me that they wont cancel my order and its my own issue so they wont help me. I couldnt cancel the order on my end because the restaurant had already told just eat that they were preparing it when they werent.

We love Pizza Palace and use them a lot, but it’s so frustrating that every time we order deep pan pizzas we get thin crust! Please make sure you read orders properly!

Normally this place is great. But ordered their loaded fries special of fries, wedges, curly fries and meats with cheese - instead received Doner and chicken in a pitta? Disappointing for £7.50.

Pizza was pretty average, ordered extra cheese and definitely didn’t get extra, frustrating when paying for it. The loaded fries brought it back a bit though these were really good.

Although food was early, chips were cold and we ordered a large mixed kebab it was 6 pieces of chicken and 13 strips of doner meat.. for £12 😳

Food tasted banging. The burgers were great ordered the American burger and also ordered the Mexicana calzone both tasted amazing.

Pizzas lovely, very tasty. Arrived on time, friendly delivery. Only thing that let the meal down was the tiny portion of chips, ordered large as had 4 family pizzas but was very small, they were £2:50 too! Very expensive for amount given.

Great place for takeaway for the family

Used this restaurant for years and never had any issues until recently, has gone down hill. Today my children wanted doner kebab it came and was dry and burnt. Tasted like they had heated up last night's meat. Very disappointed!

Food was nicely cooked, just not much flavour.

Chicken was very very dry and chewy like it had been sitting out all day, spaghetti bolognaise wasn’t even spaghetti and the sauce was ridiculously spicy(?)

Worse donner and chips I had ever had donner was thing and dry and the chips looked like they have been cooked twice and was Rock hard wasted £17 delivery was on time tho and the driver was polite food is normally good here I’m not sure what happened this time 🫤

Arrived 30 mins late, cartons all squashed. No salad at all in kebab and pitta bread like mush. Will never order again

Food was on time, thought all was well, opened the bags, missing the dip I paid for and somehow my drinks were warm yet the chicken and chips were cold, pizza was lukewarm at best and had lumps on gristle in all the pepperoni.

Nice and hot could do with chips having more cheese on but food was good

Not covid compliant as gave my already late order to the wrong house who had covid, who unwrapped the food to then pass it back on to me and ask for payment. I phoned up the food outlet to be told if I didn’t accept the food and pay it would be another hour. Stay clear for your own health!

The chicken wings were pink and really dry inside, they gave me extra nuggets which was good but the nuggets were also dry and bland. I will not be ordering from here again

Truly awful pizzas. The deep pan pizza was incredibly thin, and didn't taste great either. Decent burger though, and popcorn chicken was bland.

Absolutely smashed it again!! Pizza was still red hot! Really sobered me up, just what I needed after a heavy night out on the lash! Thank you again pizza palace, you never disappoint me

Ordered the bianco cheese garlic bread, cheese wasn’t melted and was cold. Also ordered the meat lover pizza barely any sauce whatsoever, dry and chewy as anything!! Burnt! Food was not the best.

Delivery on time. Boxes squashed and a bit battered. Food was good but Greek salad missing feta completely. Have sent to just eat for a refund for these.

I ordered cheesy chips @ £3.10 and there was only a sprinkle of cheese! I had to add my own cheese! Both pizzas were not cut properly, one was undercooked and my side was well over cooked! Avoid this pizza place! Its the worst place I've eaten from and they've ripped me off and insulted me with how much they charge for a small cheesy chips and how little cheeses was on there, I am not exaggerating when I say it was a sprinkle!

Pizza was well nice but only thing that let me down was the extra prawns I ordered on my pizza as they were literally very mini and you couldn’t even see them on the pizza but else it was all nice and good food

It cost me £16 to learn how disgusting and vile this restaurant is! Cheap price to pay for the TRUTH! With no respect for their food or customers they serve food you wouldn't give to a stray dog! Vile! Where to start?! Drinks did not get delivered. I ordered a kebab that had no sauce on. I ordered cookie dough and ice cream... it looked like black pudding and also did NOT! Have any ice cream. I also ordered a strawberry cheesecake.... it came Frozen! Disgraceful restaurant and the owners should be embarrassed to have their names attached to it. An absolute ordering on a Saturday night they probably assumed I was out on the lash or not in a sound frame of mind. Sober as a nun... which I can only presume that they are the also the type to take advantage of customers. Would I recommend this restaurant?! I'd recommend it gets shut down or at least investigated because clearly the owner/manager and staff clearly don't have a brain cell between the lot of them. Spend your money on something worth it! Also if you choose to eat here and like it? Wow.

I order from Pizza Palace almost every week and have done for the past 4 years or so, but the delivery i had last week just wasn't nice. You've changed the tomato sauce and you've also changed the cheese. The pizzas just don't taste good anymore. I won't be ordering again. One unhappy loyal customer lost.

Pizzas were so greasy. The box was drenched in oil. Filthy.

I always order from pizza palace and the food is always piping hot, very tasty and always arrives quickly. However, this order was placed with a specific delivery time, as I was popping out. The food arrived 40 mins earlier than the specified time, luckily my partner was in to accept the delivery, so when I eventually got home to my food it was cold. Please pay attention to the requested delivery time! 5 or 10 minutes early or late is acceptable, but not 40! Only complaint I've ever had with this place!
