Pizza King in Plymouth

I have used Pizza King a handful of times. Always great service whether going into order and collect or ordering over the phone for home delivery. We love the pizzas and spicy spuds here.

Lady is very nice..The tall bloke never smiles is arrogant and rude.. Stopped going there now..

This place is so amazing even if your a kid the food is great the service is great because the chips amazing and they gave us free food wth our nuggies

Chicken kebab. Iv contracted food poisoning from Service was appalling they don’t understand English. Watched other customers complain about the mistakes made on their order. 39 mins for 2 kebabs. Dry as hell as they didn’t put any sauce in. And the bread was hard

The worst kebab I've ever had. Portion sizes are ridiculous small, all chips undercooked. Donnar Meat just vile. First time trying will never come here again. Waste of money

Ridiculous portions, chicken doner kebab eaten in 4 mouthfuls what a joke

Used this company a few times but today was my last, ordered pizzas and asked for no mushrooms (allergy’s) and deep pan pizzas, upon ordering the guy said i don’t think the transaction went through, i said it definatly has as it’s taken from my account, once the delivery driver turned up i had to stand at the door allowing him to take photos of my bank account as they wanted me to prove it before i was allowed the pizza!! what could go wrong ? 5 minutes of standing with the pizzas turned them cold and low and behold the pizzas turned up wafer thin and had mushrooms in every part of the pizza! my partner is pregnant and due any minute yet what do they care about allergy’s! i then phoned up to speak to the arrogant rude guy who told me point blank they are definatly deep pan and there is no mushrooms as he cooked them himself !! only to say i’ll send a replacement for 1 pizza so we waited patiently for this to arrive and guess what oh yes there would be more! The pizza was uncooked dough! My partner didn’t eat a thing and if she did well god knows what would have been the result! Will never, i repeat never use this branch in plymstock again! disgusting service and food was unacceptable, arrogance at its finest!

Rude and disgusting food get away from them

Wish I had read the reviews before ordering, DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS PLACE. Before posting this review I decided to scan through other customer's experience, I almost laughed because it seems my concerns are the same as everyone elses. From time to time you will get poor quality which is acceptable as we aren't ordering from a Michelin star restaurant. However, £15 for a 'Pepperoni' pizza which was badly under cooked is a joke, I stopped eating it half way because I felt sick from eating it. Rang and spoke to a chap who wouldn't give me his name, rang back and spoke to a reasonable lady who said his name is Matt, I suspect this is the same chap who has been rude to customer's in other reviews. He wouldn't let me finish speaking and just kept saying he's to busy and he's not bothered that my order was terrible, charming! Says an awful lot that he won't give his name, is extremely rude and aggressive and just hangs up the phone when you don't bow down to his bullying style. What a pathetic man you are Matt. I'll speak to the manager who is apparently called Shaun tomorrow and see what is said. I didn't even ask for a refund! he just went defensive straight away which again says an awful lot. JUST SPOKE TO THE MANAGER 'SHAUN' TODAY (PRETTY SURE IT WAS THE SAME PERSON WHO WAS AGGRESSIVE WITH ME YESTERDAY AND I WAS TOLD WORD FOR WORD 'COME DOWN TO THE SHOP AND I WILL SORT YOU OUT ROUND THE BACK' - CHARMING

Base was terrible. Too much flour and it tasted like it wasn't cooked properly

First time ordering. Was told one price on the phone... Added up from the online menu as it seemed a little expensive.. Turns out we had been charged £6 more. Went to collect the order and when we asked about the price the man serving was extremely rude and intimidating, saying no no the price is right... And that we had it wrong. Then continued to explain the prices on the menu were incorrect.. Which is no fault of ours... We still paid the full amount he wanted. Honestly I've never known customer service so shocking, I wish we just walked away and didn't give them our money because the food was 1000% not worth it. Got home and the food was a joke. The 6 chicken nuggets were the size of 2 pence pieces... Pizza was cold. Cheese was like rubber. Chips were hard.. The only good food from this were the garlic mushrooms and the garlic sauce... I'll never order from here again, awful food and awful customer service. Would have been better off with a domino's!

Excellent service on telephone. Friendly delivery from lady and quick. Only issue was the pizza arrived luke warm and the garlic bread was cold BUT the meat feast pizza tasted lush as I love tandoori chicken if it had of arrived hot I reckon it would've tasted absolutely banging. The homemade garlic dip was yummy.

Just ate from here I had the 3 mixed kebab. £8.50 Donner kebab meat was not grilled and more boiled. Sauces where watered down (chilli and garlic sauce) Salad and coleslaw was not fresh. Really friendly customer service though and food was edible but not amazing. Lamb shish was nice and chicken was just how I like it (tikka with chargrilled bits) all in all with a few tweaks this place could be really good.

Do not order a chicken kebab. We got 4 pieces of chicken and the salad was none existing. Shocking shaun will not order again

Ordered a pepperoni and mushroom pizza, wish I hadn't. The pepperoni was very cheap and tasted nasty. All of the toppings were under the cheese which meant the pepperoni hadn't cooked properly and felt like a rubber texture. Its such a shame as quality pepperoni is surely a must in any decent pizza takeaway. Definitely won't buy a pizza from there again

The way this guy treats his customers is disgusting. He has absolutely no concept of customer satisfaction. He was confrontational when confronted with the feeble kebab I ordered as the portion was not in reflection of the price, he was more interested in throwing it away and giving my money back rather than the obvious solution which would have been offering a portion worthy of the amount of money it cost. The food is mediocre at best and way overpriced for what you get. The decor inside is dated and dank, and I feel like I need a tetanus booster just for walking through the front door.

Fantastic local fast food takeaway, Burgers ,pizza's and Spicy Potatoes are awesome everytime when out fishing , The staff and delivery drivers are just great 👍 Thanks again Pizza King !🍕🍔

Well i orderd from hear last night and they said delivery would be 45mins to a hour.so said to the wife we have some time to spare.next think im pounding away like a jack hammer giving my all.im allmost at completion then boom the door knocks put me right of my stroke.i knew it was way quicker then 45mins i never last more then 15mins absolutely gutted.food was amazing though

Told 45 to 50 minutes wait for delivery, arrived in 20, wife was out walking dog, so her share gone cold. Thin crust pizza was burnt around edges, thick crust pizza was ok, although very sparse on the tomato sauce base topping. Barely visible. Kebab order was ok for son. Will check back on reviews before ordering again

Delivery was 30 minutes late however food was great! Best spicy spuds in town, never tried pizza from this place before, i normally get no cheese from places i have ordered from and it was better then i expected, only bad thing about the food was i ordered pepperoni on my pizza and got chorizo instead. Would order from here again and defiantly reccomend it to other.

Terrible place. Awful food and even more awful service!!! Ordered food, delivered wrong! Went back and they called us liars and wouldn't change the food, will not use again ever!!!

AVOID, BAD QUALITY FOOD AND SERVICE!!! I brought chicken from here, it was very pink and not properly cooked. When I went back to ask for it to be sorted, I got a very hostile response and was forced to wait for the manager to come, after waiting 15 for the manager to come, he started swearing at me and told me I know nothing about food and told me he would not refund me and told me to eat it, I said no and they an even more hostile response and he pretty much through my money at me and the. Told me to F off and never come back!
