We really enjoyed our Dinner. They`ve had a deal on and so the 3 of us had Starters, unlimited Salad (fresh and delicious), Main (Pizza) and Desert plus unlimted Soft Drinks for under £80. It was really quiet and Food arrived in no time, quality and everything was perfect. Staff is really nice and helpful!

AVOID AVOID AVOID * SPEND YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE * disgusting appalling service from justeat, one order 2 and half hours late stone cold and rock hard , missing one item , only refunded me for the missing fries and disregarded the food being nearly 3 hour late or it being cold, made several complaints to the customer service team, kept being told there is nothing they can do as its not in line with the policy.. anothe order delivery never turned up at all.. contacted just eat and they said someone came in to the store and picked up my delivery for a collection.. how is that even possible.. appalling company bunch of thieves

Great relaxed and welcoming restaurant for little kids. The staff are so welcoming, especially when visiting with younger children. They take the time to make them feel welcome and help out with straws/napkins etc. the manager let my little boy choose our table and took the time to chat to him and make him feel welcome and comfortable.

I came here with support staff after trying several other places which were full due to a local football match on the day I went. As a wheelchair user I often have accessibility issues, thankfully on this occasion the restaurant was ideal and the staff very helpful. However I wouldn't have been able to dine here if my support staff didn't have a debit card as sadly the trend seems to be using a cashless system. This is the same for me as putting steps in front of me as it almost denied me entry, a barrier pizza hut seems happy to deny disabled customers who have cash but no cards. I will pass my views on to a disability group called Attitude Is Everything who audit access issues.

Pizza isn’t something I eat often, but if I get the chance to travel through to Newcastle, I really enjoy a deep pan pizza at Pizza Hut. Now for the past two times I have visited, there’s been no deep pan left How on earth does this happen? It’s hardly like you do a massively diverse menu, you’re a pizza place! Make some more deep bases on site! And while I’m on, the fact that you can’t pay with cash, I also disagree with. A homeless man with £20 in his pocket isn’t welcome in your establishment and would have to leave hungry.

Excellent service throughout and superb food. Can always pretty much get a table, so ideal if staying at the Premier Inn itself. Bar can get a little busy and noisy though.

Fui aquí porque sabía que hacían pizza vegana y sin gluten. Solo para estar enfermos durante varios días porque no pueden molestarse en cocinar alimentos sin gluten en un lugar diferente al de los alimentos normales que contienen gluten. Pueden anotar esto en letra pequeña, pero creo que no es lo suficientemente bueno debido al hecho de que si soy alérgico al gluten, en lugar de solo una intolerancia, podría haber enfermado gravemente. Simplemente irresponsable y descuidado.

Pedí pizza para llevar, eran normales, mi hija acaba de comer una con tomate, se quemó, el joven caballero dijo que es porque no tiene queso, los hemos comido en pizzahut antes cerca de nosotros y nunca se quemaron.Él se ofreció a hacer uno nuevo. pero no tuve tiempo, las papas fritas eran duras y el frío plano encontré algunas cebollas en mi pizza margerita que no pude comer cebollas de odio, no volveré a toda prisa, el personal fue agradable y amable.

Usedvanlig hyggelig og imøtekommende personale. Veldig god pizza.Vi var i Newcastle og skulle ha vår "fredags pizza" valget falt på Pizza Hut, det viste seg å være et veldig godt valg. Jeg er spesielt glad i salaten de serverer i tillegg til pizza. Nå med covid 19, fikk vi servert valgfri salat i skåler til bordet. Veldig bra.

The food was excellent and cheap due to the Eat Out To Help Out thing. The only thing was the ordering on the website whir has was slow and cumbersome. 5 stars

Pedí una entrega desde aquí usando Uber Eats durante el bloqueo. El trato era para 3, 2 pizzas compartidas y 2 acompañamientos y una botella de refresco para 29. 99.No me importaba esperar un rato a que llegara la comida o tener que recalentarla. Sin embargo, ¡los lados eran atroces! Uno de los acompañamientos que decidimos comprar fueron papas fritas, era una porción tan pequeña (no quiero sonar codicioso) pero era literalmente 1 papa frita y esto estaba destinado a compartir entre 4 de nosotros. También estaban un poco poco cocidos.Las pizzas estaban bien, pero el pollo un poco seco.Creo que usaré dominós la semana que viene, ya que la comida tiene aproximadamente el mismo precio y una calidad mucho mejor

Me and my friend visited Pizza Hut at the Gate, 4 kids along with us too. The food was nice, slightly expensive but perfect for us and the kids ! The best feature about this place was the staff, they do really go out of their way for you especially Becky who helped when one of the kids fell over and bumped her head she was brill !!! Very attentive turned a very upset 5 year old into a smiling happy one within mins. Lovely experience all in all and will be back

My wife and I had a delicious pizza, salads, and sides. There is a table with plenty of salads options available, the price is ok and the service is quite fast.

Mi esposo y yo llevamos a 10 niños menores de 11 años el sábado para el cumpleaños de mi hija. Completé el formulario de pedido en línea con cada una de las opciones de los niños y lo llevé conmigo para ahorrar tiempo.Esperaba caos ya que era un día de partido muy ocupado, pero todo se sentía realmente sin problemas. Ordenar fue fácil y rápido y toda la comida llegó rápidamente después de haber sido perfectamente preparada. Hubo dos pequeños errores con la comida que llegaron, pero fueron fácilmente rectificados y el personal realmente se disculpó. Por lo ocupado que estaba el restaurante, me impresionó mucho.Parecía que el personal no podía hacer lo suficiente por nosotros, especialmente Ian, que nos saludó a la llegada y revisó regularmente para asegurarse de que todo estaba bien.

Realmente la pasta era puré, eso hace que sea difícil de separar y las pizzas no tan buenas. Lo mejor fue 27 minutos para un pan de ajo que debe solicitarse porque parece que se lo perdieron.El servicio no era tan bueno y el lugar no estaba lleno, realmente estaba al 30% de su capacidad.Si tengo que volver, quien quiera comer allí tiene que pagarme.Lugar realmente no recomendado y lejos del estándar estadounidense de Pizza Hut

It's quite some time since we've been to a pizza hut but by chance being in the gate we went in, and was not disappointed. The pizza was fabulous and the service was very good. Fill your drinks as much as you like plus a free salad bar . Great food great, great night.

Visited here for a meal in the evening, received a warm welcome and found a table so I could charge my phone. The service I received was prompt and of a very good level. Great team of staff here.... .....thank you.

Arrived at Pizza Hut at 18:00 on a Friday evening, which I would think this would be prime time for people to eat and running a business I would ensure everything would be in place.

We met our nephew in Newcastle on a bit of a flying visit and chose Pizza Hut as there is plenty of space and you know what you are getting.

I love all of UK's Pizza Huts. Nothing is better than to sit down with a cold Magners and a tasteful pizza. All Pizza Huts are pretty much the same as far as menu is concerned. So can't rate the food, its always good. So I rate the location and the staff. The staff was nice enough, but slow. There was almost none people eating when we arrived just after opening time. Still we had to wait a little too long. But no big worries really. The location is ok, but not my favorite. A restaurant inside a shopping center is never fascinating. My favorite Pizza Hut has to be in Southampton Row (London).

Went to pizza Hut as had a voucher for discount. Was shown a table very quickly. Food order taken but not informed regarding the salad bar or where to get our fizzy drinks from. I ordered a new flat bread pizza at £9 and was very disappointed when it arrived. It was so thin it was very crispy and hardly any topping on it, more greenery than meat and mushroom. Glad i filled up on salad. My other half ordered Lasagne which he enjoyed. Sorry but wouldn't go to any pizza hut again.

On my way to Cineworld I was informed that due to their ‘refurbishment’ there was no cafe! So! I popped downstairs to the home of the pizza!!

Visited before a trip to the cinema, a few things we tried to order we unavailable or sold out so had to change our orders a few times when trying to order. Food came quite quickly and was an ok quality.

We normally come here before watching a movie, mainly because it is reasonable priced and the service is not that bad.

Popped in for Buffet, busy but seen to and taken to table quickly. Food was hot and good selection,. No complaints. Good job by staff. Well done.

We popped into Pizza Hut after Ed Sheeran on Saturday night, considering it was 11pm in the evening it was quite busy and we got our food very quickly. Really good customer service and the food was lovely.

We visited here one Saturday evening before a concert at St James Park. It was difficult to know if this was a typical Saturday night in Newcastle or because of the concert but it was busy everywhere. We didn’t have to wait long to be seated to a table and a waitress came and took our order for food and drinks. We waited almost a hour for our food. My friend complained to the manager who told us we were advised there was a hour wait but at no point were we told about this as we would have gone elsewhere!

We waited over an hour for 1 pizza, despite it being very quiet, because there were "oven issues". The tables are far too close together - we had someone else's hair draping over our table. We would never return.

I was stood a while when I was waiting for a member of staff to take me to a table. Then when the waiter finally came, he took us to our seats and didn’t come back for at least 10 minutes to take out order, even though I was trying to get his attention.

Conviently located on the ground floor of Premier Inn. Has a good selection of international cuisine. Overall pretty satisfied with the experience. There's certainly room for improvement, but gets points for the convenience. Prices à la carte could be a bit high; save big with the vouchers!

Decided to come here before a gig in town. We had an hour before and just managed to get sorted in that time but they seemed very understaffed for quite a busy evening.

Came here 8/4/18 for lunch with a friend. Got seated and given our menus. When the waitress come to take our order only then did she tell us what was not available after we had decided. So we changed our order to something else said that was fine. Then 5mins later waitress come back to tell us they has ran out of the chicken wings. So no stuffed crust pizza base or cheese bites crust. The water machine was pouring out dirty grey water too. Anyways we got to our dessert and decided what we wanted to be then told they didn't have what we wanted. The staff kept disappearing out of sight. Customers waiting to be seated. So all in all not a good visit. Doesn't look like it's going to stay open much longer.

As I was in Newcastle with some work colleagues for a business trip we went looking for somewhere to eat

The food itself took a while to deliver even though there were hardly any people there, and the menu seems slightly overpriced for what you get. The staff were very polite though.

Food as always nice and good value. We had the lunch buffet. The gentleman who served us was friendly and helpful, however was clearly overworked. I think the restaurant was understaffed for a busy lunchtime during the school holidays, so service was slow. I do not blame the staff they worked very hard, but feel that management should be ensuring the correct staffing levels!

Passed by while looking for somewhere to eat. We were seated straight away with space for a baby in a double pram and a baby in a high chair. Service was great and food was lovely, would definitely visit again 👍🏼

Dad and two kids looking for something quick and easy before the match, so we came across Pizza Hut in the Gate and joined the small line waiting to be seated. The welcome was warm and we waited about five minutes to get seated. We were shown to a seat around the side that seemed a little dimly lit and marooned from the rest of the restaurant but that was of no concern. The waiter that welcomed us (receptionist / maitre d) assured us two or three times that we would be looked after and that such-and-such would be with us in two minutes. No problem. Fifteen minutes later, once every wait staff in the premises had gone past us without acknowledging our existence, even bringing stuff to the table next to us, the call was made to evacuate, which we did after taking a couple of minutes to get rugged up again, completely unacknowledged, by all the staff and out the front door. I didn't know what to say to the kids, but they were both mystified by the sheer lack of attention we received.

Having eaten at this particular Pizza Hut restaurant in the past and receiving top service and great quality food, we were disappointed by our recent visit.

I went here with a friend after spending most of the day walking around town. We each got individual pizzas and they were both delicious!! However, the place was quite busy and the table we got was a bit hidden from the staff...

I had a really nice meal with great service here on Monday 30th October. I chose from the 'Christmas' (grrr) menu because it was good value. Starter, Pizza and drink for £14 or £15. I ordered a pizza with mushrooms. The girl who served me apologised profusely because she forgot to buy some! So I had spinach instead. All of the food was good. The rose wine is particularly good here. As is the chocolate waffle dessert!

Went here for the buffet whilst on a trip to Newcastle and we are so glad we did . The food was amazing been to other pizza hut buffets and this has to be the best . The customer service was absolutely amazing first class . This pizza hut has got it so right . If you are in Newcastle you really should go

If you've been to a Pizza Hut before you know the score - There are much worse Pizza Hut's out there, the location is great and the restaurant looks nice, the staff were fine and the food was generally good.

After a visit to the hospital for a baby scan myself and my husband decided to go for a late lunch opting for a all you can eat as I'm eating for two as they say .

Came in with a work colleague for a late lunch on 17/09/17 at 3pm intending on sitting on separate tables. We both showed a voucher which were planning on redeeming & got informed that it wouldn't be accepted because we arrived together. Working in hospitality myself, I've never seen a manager so inhospitable towards customers. Definitely wouldn't return. Restaurants a mess and salads bowls filthy. Whilst writing this review I've just had a pizza slammed down in front of me with out a plate or even an enjoy. Disgusting service.

We wanted to eat before our film showing, so thought we would try Pizza Hut as it was quiet. The service was good, although we were served by a total of four different waiters and waitresses. The food was good and we didn't have to wait too long. We enjoyed the unlimited salad bar and the pizza choice was good as you are able to choose different bases/crusts and toppings. We had a nice cold bottle of wine but unfortunately the ice dispenser was not working so our water was a little warm!

Very rude staff in this pizza hut. The waiter, a man in his fifties, treated us with very bad manners. We were a group of people. Won't come here again.

Just came in here today with my boyfriend. Ordered the 3 starters for £11.49 deal. Big mistake. The starters were dry, tasteless, and overcooked. We didn't even touch them! No one came over to check on our meal and in the end had to ask for the bill- and the plates weren't cleared. Told the "manager" looking guy that the starters were really bad and all he said was "well they were all send out to come on time.. okay" wow ! Great response ! And he made us pay for them!! Didn't even stay to argue because we were already late for the cinema- making us have to ask for the bill in the first place.. worst service ever from this guy and food was terrible. Would've enjoyed it better if we ordered it online ! The waitress Helen was nice enough though. Will never return... and would love my £11.49 back. Wasted money

I'm not really a pizza hut person but we went here because it was very cold and we didn't want to travel farther afield. However I was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was good and we had just enough​ between 4. Service was excellent

I met my daughter here prior to going the theatre where she had already been seated as I was a little late. We were attended to immediately I arrived and given the menu to peruse. We more or less knew what we wanted so ordered virtually immediately. We got our salad/buffet bowls filled and our meals arrived before I had even finished my salad (I am an extremely slow eater). The meal was delicious and very filling. All in all a very enjoyable meal and promptly served.

My boyfriend and I came here for our first date in November 2014 and it must have went well seeing as we are still together. However, we went back to "re-live" it not long ago and the nicest thing was the mayonaise. The pizza was poor and they messed up my order. Twice. They put everyone close and crowded in the areas next to the window even though there was plenty of space at the other side. The service was extremely slow too. Not good.

Went as a family of 4 for our dinner. The lady showed us to our table explained then special offers. She came bk in around 5 mins took our order. Pizza hut was clean and well kept. The staff was friendly and the service was quick.

Went to this restaurant a few months back and was pleasantly surprised. The pizza was delicious and the Pepsi max machine was also really good as you can chose from a variety of flavours.

We have have been twice within the last few weeks. Both this we were greeted by Mt Phil. The first time we arrived at 15:01pm (buffet closed 1 min ago) but the kind Mr Phil let us in and there was still plenty of pizza for me and my mate to go through! TOP CUSTOMER SERVICE! The second time we were also privileged enough to be greeted by Phil. He even remembered us and sat us in the same seat! A great touch! On behalf of me and my pal we would like to dedicate this review to the Ledge, Mr Phil! There should be more staff like him and we will always go out of our way to travel to this Pizza Hut over closer ones just because of him! Top bloke, deserves a pay-rise/promotion!

There was a good deal on, unlimited salad and drink, starter and pizza all for £13.95 and it was all delicious.

Came in for lunch with my one year old daughter and partner, we were served by a lovely woman named Claire who was amazing with my daughter, very friendly and polite will definitely be coming back.

Seated by one person. Table cleared and bill brought by another person (slim, blonde, young looking woman). We paid cash, gave the silver bucket with the money back to the girl, then finished our drinks and picked our belongings up. Met at the lift by woman saying £10 short. Cut long story short, stupidly doubted myself and gave her an another £10, however I knew exactly how much I had as had just been to the bank before lunch. Wrote to branch manager and a duty manager replied with the response of we take these allegations seriously, however tills etc were checked and ok etc here's a £10 voucher. Letter basically didn't make me think they were bothered and I wrote to head office (mid September 2016), asked them to review the way customers pay their bill to avoid other people being targeted etc - Guess What - Still no reply!! Told them I'd since viewed Sarah H review from February 2016 and couldn't help thinking this was the same girl. Come on Pizza Hut you can do better than this or is it just a case of nowadays no one is bothered to respond to complaints, seems a few customers now not going back to Pizza Hut doesn't bother them. How many other people have been stung with this scam? I can only wonder, however lesson learnt, it won't be me ever again.

Went to pizza hut had the buffet the endless pop and icecream factory.The food was lovely pizzas were piping hot prices reasnoble the icecream factory great .Would go again and highly recommended it

Came for my birthday. Lunch buffet is good. The selection isn't wide but everything is definitely hot and fresh!!. The restaurant is very busy but the floor is well staffed.

Saff are very helpful, clean tables and food is what you would expect from Pizza Hut. Also liked how all the sauces are on the table, unlike most restaurants.

Was here yesterday me and me other half loved it like always. We had chicken strips for first course there was lovely and I had chicken pasta bake lovely and sweet potato fries for me and garlic bread sticks for us to share and she had lasagne she eat it all so it most of been nice haha and she also had a bowl of cheeses chips we were both stuffed and had to walk all the way to eldon square which seemed to be miles away lol

Visited here for lunch. Place was very clean and tidy. We had the buffet which was nice. You get all you can eat pizza and pasta there is also a free salad bar. Theres also soft drinks you can refill. The staff are friendly and look after you. Would go again.

We haven't eaten at Pizza Hut in years, but wanted to grab an easy lunch and decided to give it a go.

What can I say? All pizza huts are the same, can't fault the staff, restaurant clean and the food is the same as any pizza hut

I have visited this place on my own, came here for lunch although it's not my type of food. The food and service in general were ok (salads were fresh and the hot starters - tasty) until I paid my bill and decided to leave. When I approached the exit one of the waitresses (blond skinny lady) asked me loudly in front of other guests if I have paid, and I replied "yes of course", to which she said even more loudly, almost screaming "No! You have not!!!!" - I was so embarrassed and everybody started turning and looking at me, I didn't know what to say or to do until the manager has approached her and confirmed that I have actually paid. The waitress did not apologise, not even quick "sorry", and simply left. Terrible situation about which I have complained in writing to the main office and since then have been informed that this waitress is not working there anymore.

It's not my favourite place but we were handed a flyer for the buffet lunch and decided to go. The gates is a leisure facility with lots of eateries think we would try another next time. The "salad" is my boys favourite infact my youngest didn't even have any pizza just 2 x salad bar! Being a non cheese eater myself I didn't partake but tried the crispy prawns which were ok. My husband was unimpressed with the amount of pizzas available on the buffet - his comment more people than pizzas .... Not enough to go round I suppose ! And the hideous drinks fountains with soda not genuine Pepsi for which you are paying a premium. However the staff were really lovely helpful and caring after my son bumped his head on that ridiculous piece of glass above the salad bar....

Different from the Pizza Hut I've been in Brazil. Here they have spicy flavours, and I love spicy food so thumbs up for this place :)

Visited here for a quick bite to eat. Service was quick and staff are what you'd expect at a Pizza Hut in a university town (I mean students). Orders taken, food delivered in reasonable time, not pestered constantly asking "is everything ok?" i'd eat here again, ain't bad.

It was normal with a basic salad's buffet and pizza not as American pizza hut where I was eating a lot.

The Chef accidentally mixed up my pizza order, howevet the staff generously gave me the pizza (with the wrong crust) and they cooked me a new pizza with the righ crust free of charge to take home. Brilliant!

saturday lunchtime one group of 12 children half a dozen othere tbles either eating or waiting,counted 14 people at drinks machine.Order eventually taked waitress brought bowls and told uo to help ourselves to salad.Salad bar was a mess with food all over and mixed together.after 35 minutes the pizza arrived nothing wrong pizza was delicious,service was slow even paying was a chore nice staff but not enough of them to keep on top

Given a table quickly considering it was a fairly busy day and we choose to go with the buffet for what I thought is a reasonable price but when got to the buffet, I was shocked to see how limited the selection was.

I feel that Pizza Hut is excellent value for money! You get free salad on top of meals and unlimited drink refills! We also got student discount! What could be better :D

Me and two of my uni mates decided to visit here for lunch, it was rather busy when we arrived but we were seated straight away. We all ordered an individual pizza rather than the buffet however personally I was not too impressed with my pizza, I expected more as it was Pizza Hut. The stuffed crust was stuffed but there was just no flavour. After we had our pizzas we waited about 30 minutes before our table was cleared and we were asked if we wanted deserts. However the waitress was very friendly and she did appear to be struggling and on her own. More staff in the restaurant would have been better. I only ordered ice cream for desert which I did enjoy. Refillable drinks are also worth the price! Will give the restaurant another go.

I recently visited Pizza Hut with 3 children who were very happy with there meal plain cheese/ ham cheese/ chicken all thoroughly enjoyed for dessert ice cream restaurant very clean staff friendly normal price. This restaurant is in a complex with many other restaurants a casino and cinema

The food at this Pizza Hut store is amazing very tasty, the staff are nice and always happy to help, the only problem is they add tax on at the end of the meal which is alittle confusing should already be added onto food. Good but very over priced.

I visited this Pizza Hut for the first time yesterday not knowing that it was here as I used to go to the one on grainger street but I have to say I was served by a lovely young woman who was very polite and helpful, the food was just as nice and will definitely returning. Excellent customer service from this woman I highly recommend.

We visited this Pizza Hut before going onto the cinema and it served the purpose. The meal arrived without the side order of chips that my daughter asked for and therefore we then had to wait some time before she received them. We were on our way to the cinema so this dampened our mood as we felt rushed. The ham and cheese pizza for my daughter she enjoyed and I opted for a chicken pizza with was fine. Not really fine dining but okay for what we were looking for.

Quarterly meet with 'ladies what lunch' today, and for a change we decided upon Pizza Hutt in The Gate. We were shown to a nice clean table by a very pleasant young man, Johnny, who was very helpful- as one of our group has dietary needs- Our orders were taken, and we were served in a very reasonable time.

Pizza Hut is, generally speaking, rather nice, it's pizza at the end of the day. That said, every time I have been to this Pizza Hut I have had bad experiences. The food is bad, comparable to even other Pizza Huts, the buffet for example is very dry most the time, and the pizza from the menu is not much better. The salad is always bad. The staff are very unwelcoming, and one in particular is very rude and always acts like she does not want to do there, that said, there is one man who is great, you do, however, remember the bad things.

We go to this Pizza Hut about once a month as a treat. This time we went in ordered our regular order. Our waitress was lovely, very happy and attentive i requested the chefs put less garlic on my stuffed crust and she was more than happy to comply. However shortly after ordering a couple were sat next to us and warned them that the fryers were broken and there was a wait on fryed food as it was done in the oven i instantly regretted ordering the chips and cheesy triangles for starters when I heard this, as I don't mind waiting but they are rather expensive being only 5 for over £4. When the food came still no mention of the fryer issue to us however the triangles tasted alright abit gooey but fine. The chips on the other hand were disgusting.. Very undercooked oven chips rather than the advertised crispy fries. I couldn't eat them but since our waitress was lovely didn't complain and paid full price. Would go more often if the place would be abit more cheaper!!

Arrived here and there was a small queue, as the place was packed! We opted (2 adults and 1 child) for the buffet meal and were basically left to it! They kept running out of pizza's, because it was sooo busy and the pasta's (tomato and cheese) were awful! Pasta was well over al dente! When the pizza's did arrive, they were nice, but you had to be super quick to get a piece. Can't comment on the staff, because they never once came over to our table. Upon leaving, my husband went to pay and they didn't know where we were sitting (could of easily have walked out!). Would defo not visit this Pizza Hut again. There is another one inside the Metro Centre which I will visit next time.
