Pizza Hut Restaurants in Thurrock

I haven't been inside a pozza hut restaurant since the 80s and the music didn't disappoint- still nostalgic. Unlimited lunch and salad bar and drink is great, though i miss having to pack out a salad bowl with walls of cucumber like back in the day. Pizzas good value and tasty andnsalad bar was clean and fresh. Ordering and paying is lot more easier with QR scanner code on each table so there's a modern twist with nostalgia in this place. All in all around 40 quid for a meal for three with drinks and dessert

Despite a busy lunch time, the staff were very friendly, helpful and professional. The food was fresh, tasty and served quickly and we were particularly impressed with how attentive the staff were and how comfortable they made us feel!

Ordered a couple of pizzas, deep pan, and Italian, both were very disappointing, soggy soft bases, I was told it's to do with the oven, was previously at Blue water pizza hut and that was amazing, different ovens. But great friendly staff.

Ridiculous over priced £75 for 2 pizza and 7 hot wings last time we will be visiting Pizza Hut, no wonder most of them have closed down.

Food was great as usual just a little slow to bring more out.

I must be old... Still getting used to places not accepting cash. Strange to be asked to tip, before you even get your food... Apart from that service was good, very friendly and the pizza was spot on...

Always a great experience. Attended Lakeside Store with family. Food was fresh, tasty, and good variety. Staff friendly and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend. Kids always love it..!!!

Really disappointed with last visit. Have to use an app to order when there are staff there perfectly capable of taking the order Using COVID as an excuse for the new system. But they still bring the food to the table so at as much a risk. Considering COVID risk is substantially reduced cannot see this to be a reason. Seems that other chains are moving to this format. Will kill the dining out experience.

Must admit I hate this QR code system of ordering. But the guy was very friendly and food was lovely

No waiting time to be seated, new ordering system was quickly explained, drinks glass was delivered promptly after payment. Pizzas were kept topped up. However, the new ordering/payment system leaves a lot to be desired. Pre-payment and tip upfront? LoL! Oh! And the Ice Cream Factory was not working!

Very busy, food going quicker than coming out. Was nice and hot cooked well if you were able to get some, drinks machine was running out so tasted like fizzy water. Did report but was told to use the only one working (lemonade)

We always go to this pizza hut when put shopping. There's a great atmosphere and the staff are always friendly. The manager is great amd always goes above and beyondto make sure everything is ok. She's got to know us now and always comes over for a chat. Would definitely recommend here.

Was a nice place to eat but the place was very small. It could be disabled friendly if it wasn't so small.

I'm afraid pizza hut just isn't what it used to be. Service very odd, you have to order from an app customer engagement non existant. Maybe it seemed amazing because I was young the last time I visited a pizza hut.

Good vibes salad bar was bit disappointing no honey mustard dressing. I thought they were replenishing it but even after an hour didn't seem to be the case. Ordered a supreme stuffed crust. Came out in good time tasted great!

Fun for kids and adult who love pizza. Unlimited refills of drinks and ice cream.

Terrible place. There were 3 of us wanting to eat. The server at the entrance gave us 1 menu and pointed at a table and said sit there and you'll need to order on the phone app. They don't take cash. I went and found another sticky menu on another table. I opened the app which was quite hard to use. I went to pay and the first thing i was asked was how much tip i wanted to give..... err NONE. I have an NHS discount card which PH supposedly accept but was told i couldn't use it because i'd picked a deal. They say its already discounted. This means that everyone gets the same discount and my NHS discount card don't work there. This is not how it works elsewhere.. Then i was told i had to register and log in in order to be able to pay. We walked out and got a McDonalds. They get 1 star because i can't give none.

The most delicious pizza so far, my best place is Kingsbury! When you hungry, pizza hut is waiting for you with a very delicious, warm and really tasty fresh pizza! And very good/ affordable price!

Really nice good service and food

We visited Pizza Hut in Lakeside. This was the worst pizza I ever had in UK restaurant. 99p ones from supermarket are better. We ordered large BBQ meat with cheesy bites. I always thought that if it is a chain then pizza size should be the same but this pizza was small for large size. Bites: Dough was uncooked. Cheese did not even smell like cheese and was so small amount. All family was soooo disappointed. This 1 piece costed nearly £4.80. Salads were fresh even it was Sunday 5pm. But I found hair in the beetroot salad. Can't blame restaurant here as it could have been from customers, so I kept it to myself. People! please be more attentive/careful then you use buffet. Staff was very friendly.

The buffet menu was great because there's plenty of options and something nice for everybody's taste and preference. It can get a bit busy during peak times, but there's lots of families with children so you don't have to worry too much about noisy or messy children haha. It's fun and affordable, and the kids love it - that's what matters most when you visit pizza hut 😊

Ordering and paying at the start of the visit works well. This means no waiting for a server to become free and you can order at your own pace. Additionally, there is no need to wait for a server to be available at the end of the meal - and you can just leave! The Buffet, drink and Ice cream factory is a winning deal now, just £12.99 each on a Monday (when I visited).

That restaurant needs freshing up. It looks tacky and worn out. Avoid the toilets. But the staff was nice enough, and the pizzas very nice

Wanted to eat in here however was told on arrival you have to order and pay via your phone , unfortunately my phone doesn't have the function to do this wasn't offered another alternative ie waiter service which is ridiculous so we left and spent our money elsewhere.

Very busy and was forever waiting for food to come out on the buffet. As soon as a pizza was out it was taken because everybody was waiting for them

Very attentive staff who I noticed took their time out to be nice and kind to the children at the restaurant, food came in good time and was hot, we had a very good experience here and would deffo recommend as on eif the best pizza huts in the area!

I done like pizza hut pizza and the buffet used to be good but not anymore . The service is good and perfect location .

First time we took our son to pizza hut, mainly more so for the ice cream machine lol, I haven't had pizza hut in years myself (we normally order a domino's in) the prices were mad! Nearly 50£ for us to eat I just think that is way too much for a pizza hut! Can't fault the service in there though was very helpful and friendly!!

Delicious, hot food. Everything was available. Clean services areas throughout. Friendly and helpful staff. We had the lunchtime adult buffet and bottomless drinks. Loads of food and drink for under £25 for 2 people. Fantastic value for lunch out. Wasn't too crowded either and everyone was wearing a mask.

Wish we hadn't bothered. Food was justOK Buffet pizza very repetitive. Tomato pasta put out cold to warm up itself.Refilable drink section out of order.Salad had better days. Couldn't hear yourself think for loud music. They operate an order and pay by phone App. So if your not mobile savvy like many of the diners we witnessed you will struggle. Totally amazed that after all the Lockdowns that nobody could fix the bad wobbly tables. A waitress said well the restaurant is 35 years old now is if that was any excuse !

Went to pizza hut after covid and things have changed. You need to scan the barcode and place your order online. Bit confusing because you can not change things like less cheese on a pizza. Still need assistants to help. You pay online before pizza is ordered and served. Pizza was bit undercooked but nice.

It used to be great in here. But there were no sides available. You now have to order through an app , when I was asked what I thought about doing that, I replied with I prefer to order through a human being. I was basically told that my partner and I are old and that I should get used to the idea I'm 42 and my partner is 9 years younger than me so she wasn't happy plus she didn't comment on it. Haha. Considering they're trying to rely on an app for people to order there was a lot of coming over to the table and senseless small talk which was quite frustrating. The boy was young and trying to be professional but he was being annoying.

Rude lady greeted us in. Would've walked out but another waiter serving us was lovely. Food was pretty basic, would not go again.

WORST pizza ever! We wanted to order some nice pizza for us and guests, something better or fancier than Dominos! So we went for Pizza Hut, big mistake and much worse than any Dominos or frozen pizza I ever had...When my husband got there he was told to come back in 20 minutes, not to collect,but to be told at what time to come again, as they overwhelmed with all the online orders and couldn't tell us how long it could take...After asking to speak with the manager they told him that pizzas will be ready in 10 minutes( so they were eventually just 10 minutes late). When he arrived home and we opened the boxes we saw disgusting looking, uncooked/white pizzas, no colour or taste whatsoever. I understand they are too many online orders, but there should be a system in place that stops people from ordering once the achievable number is being reached...or give realistic waiting times... Never been more disappointed by some take away, expensive take away...as they are very expensive for the quality and service they provide.

Absolutely disappointing, pizza hut in general is a proper chavy place to eat at, from what I can see, the staff are not used to dealing with ethnic customers and appear rascit or something as even my kids could see that the service being given to white customers was so much more approachable than us! This made me feel very uncomfortable even though we had paid just like everyone else we were not given the same service. The state of the restaurant was terrible, very dark and cold, I will never visit the eat in pizza hut ever again thanks to this atrocious service, I wish I had a picture of the food we got as well, it was bad to say the least, the most shocking thing is that they made my children feel unwelcome and for my children to say they felt victimised is shocking, very very bad restaurant, if your not white please don't visit this restaurant is what should be there slogan 😢

Staff were brilliant due to our current situation with covid! Really nice and made sure every safety procedure was adhered to. I.e antibacterial gel as people entered ect. Was also impressed by the way they cleaned table and seating areas once customers had left their table. Well done to all the staff who were there during my visit with the Mrs and my 5 year old daughter. 👍

Clearly not putting the effort in with Covid. 'Reduced' menu is the most reduced I've seen. No salad bar which is usually part of the deal (makes sense), but no alternative offered. No refillable drinks so they've reduced the price of normal drinks.....by 10p. You get seated, they give you a hand written not of the things not available, including garlic bread! Then tell you to scan a barcode, put your order in online, pay online, and then they'll bring it to you, if you can muster an order from the very limited choice. No cash, very annoying but nothing different to what alot of others are doing there. No sauces either. Went to Prezzo instead, better menu, table service, sauces etc still available in little pots, and generally polite staff there, unfortunately showed the hut crew up. I usually like a hut for a reasonably priced pizza/meal, but itsa really poor show compared to the others. Better have a closer look at their covid policy to keep up with the others in these challenging times, it feels like a very half hearted effort.

Small but you know what you get at pizza hut

Good food, somewhat unkept table we were at, likely not cleaned thoroughly from last users. However, we were served in a friendly manner, by a nice waitress (blonde younger lady, unfortunately didn't catch her name), despite being 5 of us, and having arrived with under an hour to closing, and her seeming to be the only one working the waitering side.

really value for money,intodays world of eating out prices and with a young family its simply a no brainer to have a buffet at pizza hut

I love pizza! Cant beat a buffet!

It's a small and outdated store, buffet has a very small selection and ice cream machine was broken when I visited. However the staff were lovely and the food fantastic. If the store were renovated I think it would be more appealing and I think I must have caught them on a bad day.
