McDonald's in Thurrock

Lots of people, as its a shopping centre you get you kids swearing and being loud, with two young kids not ideal, asked a member of staff for a dip and was told I had to que, with my food on the table it wasn't worth letting it get cold, staff wasn't very helpful.

Horrible service today got the wrap of the day (2) got home and found out there was no chicken inside the wrap,just plain wrap with cucumber and salad ...so sad,that is appalling. This is the first time this has happened as I have previously bought there and it was okay.

Every time I go to this restaurant there’s a problem honestly shut the place down paid for the food then they said sorry we can’t open the till and my money gone

Still shut and cleaning up from night before at 9.15 this morning, meant to open at 8.30am. Took 10 mins of them staring at us all through the shutters to think to come and tell us they were opening ' shortly ' so we left it.

Went on a Saturday and it was rammed. The staff/service does really well considering this is probably a bit too small a store for it's location. I would probably aim for the drive thru Macdonalds nearby instead of going here, as my burger was thrown in the box, paid for sauces missed out (staff did give me these when I went back) and my chips were cold. But again, it was a busy Saturday afternoon which negated the term/applicable fast food. 10 minute wait for a standard family of 4 order.

The staff are rude, food is cold. Please can we improve the service in this branch.

To be fair I visited at an extremely low traffic time - breakfast. It was calm, fast and I really enjoyed the meal. Same quality as you'd get from McDonalds anywhere else.

It's inside the lakeside shopping centre. Near the entrance. A calm and peaceful environment. There are tablets available for games. Children enjoyed meals with the game.

Friendly staff, Happy to help if you need it. Food was good.

The food was a good standard, and the service was professional and polite, but it is always busy, and they are woefully understaffed, so you have to wait for some time.

My Son bought breakfast here. Clean & tidy .

If I could give it one start I would they charge 10p for sauces who does that. And the chips were hard

If still not busy the staff forget to conplette a small order ( 3 Big Mac, 4 portion fries and 9 nuggets) I don't think is been a big order How can you forget to put the nuggets ? This one is happend on the Manager and staff is incompetent . Better the Burger King and another place to eat

i noticed today a guy from the staff closing the wrap with the help of his t-shirt. They also don’t seem very happy to be working there, i asked for pickles in my mayo chicken and the whole team was just shocked and kept complaining ? The manager was nice

Very busy as expected. Had table service things missing with the order and chips were cold had to go to the counter and wait to get the items which should have been on the tray. Not impressed I'm afraid.

Mcdonalds is what it is. Fast sometimes Thrown together, but fills a gap

It was the dirtiest McDonald's I've ever been to. Needed a refurbishment. Also there are no allowances for allergies would it hurt to offer a gluten free bun. All I can have is frys.

A five for service. My first McDonald's where when I ordered Tea the colleague Badrul asked me if I wanted milk and Sugar.

Most of McDonald's restaurants have the payment rate very low so have unprofessional staff.

Dead coffee food advertised not available and the atmosphere oh man, crammed with random seating and toilets downstairs aweful for pregnant women or disabled persons.

The place was littered with so much rubbish and mess and getting food took a long time but the food was as good as any other McDonald's, not complaining about the food only the look of the restaurant, it's surprising though as it was in lakeside a popular place to shop with many people visiting each day , you would think the standard would be better there for where it is. I don't like giving bad reviews so it's a shame.

No milkshakes, no table service, no receipts. Apart from that superb.

Smaller than normal portions. 20+ min wait for McFlurry's that weren't available with drive thru, but were inside 🤔. Emailed receipt was for someone else's order even though my total was correct.

Had a lovely breakfast , well worth the visit , will be going again .

Even though it was quite busy, the service was very efficient. The negative would have to be that two of the people who ordered fries found them less fried than normal.

Got some food for myself as a treat to take home . When I got home I noticed everything was luke warm . Everything was cooked but the fries & quarter pounder was cold & dry.

It was s very busy lunch time and the staff were run off their feet and under pressure, there was an error in my order but Ruby delt with my problem with grace, calm and was very apologetic. I left the store feeling how lucky was I to be on the customer side of the counter. Well done Ruby.

Double sausage egg muffin is the best breakfast on the go

It wasn't particularly busy. However, tables were cleared but not wiped down after customers left.

Locates at the lakeside shopping centre this is near to Halifax bank branch. Has more sitting area than the one Mcdonald located at the ground floor entrance.

Omg, rubbish everywhere, bins overflowing, tables not particularly clean. Sauces all ran out. We did not get a receipt from the self order screen & half were not working so did not know our order number. However the food came quickly & the prep staff were polite & efficient. The vegan veg fingers were unavailable as was the vegan happy meal which was disappointing for the hungry vegans in our group. Judging by the grid lock in the car park I suspect they had been having an unprecedented number of customers.

Frustrating... you receive the order after at least 10 mins from the point the screen says its "ready" to be collected....they only do that so the system shows they are quicker then they really are....takes for ever.

It's always busy, but don't forgot, that in this mall, their are two more macdonalds to be found, feels a bit chaotic around the order area, but it's macdonalds, long as they don't forget the dipping sauce again, it gets a thumbs up.

It's a McDonald's, so I'm not too sure how amazing it could be? It was clean and tidy but when I pointed out that the self service point had run out of receipt paper they clearly couldn't care less. Not great to be honest.

They seem pretty well organised here. It was breakfast time on a Saturday and we only called in for coffee but the service was quite quick.

Grace was a wonderful person helping me through my love life and chicken nugget fetish, she provided a very well cooked chicken nugget with a crispy outside and soft inside, bright and well fried chips with a mild amount of salt not setting off my spice tolerance. I recommend going to grace at McDonald’s for the best experience

McDonalds is always a winner. The table service was very quick despite it being very busy. You can't go wrong with a McDonalds.

Love this place. New cleaner is amazing. Always happy to help. When asked she makes the booths shine!

Not enough staff. Waited 20 minutes for our order and then they forgot about us. Had to reorder and wait another 10 minutes. Food ok.

Service was good but fries were pretty cold. People had issues with the ketchup dispenser.

It's was all so much good for the biggest meals of all time favourite.

This place is my go to McDonald’s as I work downstairs and only get a hours break. I get that it’s busy but when you have to wait half and hour for a McFlurry just for it to be half melted when you ask a staff member for it, is absolutely ridiculous. The attitude you get from the staff is ridiculous. It’s not always like this so I give them that but it’s been like this so often now it needs to be sorted.

Despite there being a large queue the team of youngsters running this place worked together and the queue was soon dealt with,the food was lovely and service great,well done all,

Good seating arrangement. A bit slow to be served on the counter when placing an order or collecting food from the counter. A lot of it depends who serves you. I ordered one large meal and several medium sized meals. The large meal fries box was so scarce of fries, I kid you not it was actually less quantity than the medium sized fries boxes. So I asked the young person who gave me the food to put more fries in the large fries box. He did do it. And gave me the tray of food. I asked for some sweet curry sauce and BBQ sauce. So he gave me 1 of each sauce in a huff. I asked if he thought 6 people could share the two sauces? He then gave me a few more. Some days the service is very very good. Usually the female staff on the restaurant floor are far more caring and approachable than staff behind the till or serving area.

System went down there was a young girl called lottie who seemed to be soo under pressure with it all and delt with it soo good great service from her

Just ordered on Uber eats - received everything squashed because of the e way it was packaged. Mozzarella dippers arrived without the salsa! Coke Zero was completely flat!! Disappointed

We mainly visited for ice cream for children and un fortunately there was none.

Very bad experience. She just left order on the counter without tray. When asked for tray or holder for the drinks she mumbled F word in her colleagues ear. Wasn’t wearing name badge when asked name she said massy or messy whatever her name is service is really poor. And on top of poor service used F word

Really bad service! asked a girl with blonde highlights for a receipt as none printed and was blanked. She tried to get someone else to do it’s she couldn’t be bothered. really poor service and she should not work with the public not even a hello or goodbye. The manager was lovely though

i made a mistake in terms of giving the table number i was crucified by the staff not all but the cleaner who i have tried nicely to get some help from she was so stressed for some reason she just took it on us we are a family of four no need for that any other situation i would have given her a piece of my mind but certainly i was not going to do it in front of the kids one thing for sure will never go there again so we don't get humiliated that simple may be get better treatment at burger king 👑

I cant believe i have been shamed im disabled and have colitis i went to use disabled toilet and a woman outside a staff member spoke to a lady with a pram outside and saod who ever is in there shouldn't be useing enmarresed i got up and walked out how dare the staff lady waking about in mcdonads no i vant use this toilet does she have xray vision through the door that tells her. I cant believe i have been treated this way

Poor service delivery today.... No fault to deliveroo took a whole hour to 'wrap up' my delivery... I live 12 minutes away worst thing is I order wayy before their closing time and my order just gets canceled after jumping from on driver to another... Thanks for the refund tho KFC will get my money instead! ☺️

Visited 13/03/22, I’m not normally one to post reviews but I am absolutely fuming! It’s a Sunday so it’s hectic and I can’t understand that the workers are probably stressed, but that is absolutely no excuse for being rude to customers! My boyfriend asked for the barbecue sauce that he ordered with his nuggets because the girl who gave us our order didn’t put any in the bag, it took her about 5 minutes just to get two sauces which is stupid and she didn’t even respond so my boyfriend had to ask multiple times even though we were standing right in front of her. Then, because we were standing there for ages, the girl worker next to me called out an order and couldn’t fit the tray through the window, because I was in the way, and instead of just politely asking me to move, she said “excuse me” in a really rude and impolite tone and then stared me down when I did nothing wrong. She had an attitude with me for no reason, and I think this is disgusting behaviour and it’s ruined my day

The mcdonalds on the a13 (near esst tilbury) is far better, better cooked food. I guess lakeside is to busy to be quality.

I ordered three small fries, i could see the token number 28 in preparing queue, many other tokens kept moving except my number 28. I waited considering that the staff is responsible and preparing in queue… after 30 mins of waiting, I asked about the token and was told that the number didn’t appear on their internal systems despite it appearing on the public display as preparing. I ordered just fries for my demanding kids so that i could move away quickly as it will be readily available. But i was very upset and it ruined my family day. Just got a apologies for system error and waiting… standard canned response. I wanted to avoid getting anything from mcd but thought will give it a chance…. Never again. Cheap, unhealthy, waste of time and money.

Always busy but quick table service

Had breakfast meal (sausage & egg McMuffin). The bun was stale, ruined the experience. Should have asked for it to be swapped, but it was quite busy and I was pressed for time. Wouldn't use this place for breakfast again. Hash brown was fine as was their coffee (as usual).

Like all McDonald's great value but freezing cold inside

My food was as good as to be expected from a McDonald's, however my friend's celebrations Mcflurry was missing the sauce. Overall 28/35
