Pizza Hut in Thurrock

Went to the pizza hut in Thurrock that says its open till 9pm and there big white sheet over it, I think it's closed down, pizza hut please update the information online.

Our family always have at pizza express restaurant every month gathering together.

Nice Pizza Hut inside Lakeside, haven't been there for while. Food was great, prices were slightly high. Could be lower, especially for a family with children. A bit quiet on a weekday, probably because of the prices. Recommended 👍

THIS PLACE NEEDS SHUTTING DOWN. NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO NEAR A PIZZA HUT AFTER EATING FROM PIZZA HUT LAKESIDE!! CALLING IT DISGUSTING IS BEING GENEROUS!!! AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!!

I really like it and they serve warm pizza and the managers and staff are so nice and very good service. I wanted to work there and they helped me found a position there.

We used to love Pizza Hut but everything is so different now . We arrived at Lakeside around 3pm on Sunday and a young guy started to explain us straight away that the payments need to be made upfront if we are OK with that as things has changed... oh we already know things change with this great food company once upon a time. We ordered and took the jackets off but straight away a cold breeze was heading our way, it is January 4th 2024 and outside is still 8° and inside the restaurant the Air conditioning is on blowing cold air. We asked the young lad if they can change the temperature as people were eating with winter jackets on only to be told that the settings are automatic and there's nothing they can do...wow! Ordered cheesy bites and paid over £4.50 extra only to be told not available... Also No Sweet Chilly sauces available on Pizza! Pizza bar is Shut, salad bar is more like leftovers or empty trays and place is not even busy. A 500ml bottle of water is more expensive than at the airport lol. Finished eating and no one approached us like it used to be to ask if food was OK, so many things that absolutely made us feel unwelcome. I will try to add photos so they can see we've been here and would like to say goodbye to Pizza Hut unfortunately. Pity won't let me to upload photos..! 👎

Proper grim food 🤢 The buffet was awful, cheap salad & disguisting pizza I’ve tasted better frozen pizzas from Iceland The ice cream tasted like iced water Pizza Hut need to sort it out I’m never going back, no wonder Dominoes took over the market

Pizza Hut they are always good the service was really quick it said that the restaurant itself is small could do with an upsize as a few people had wait we were as lucky we got in straight away.

Service was terrible, Pizza was just about warm, no straws for drinks and £7 for a small pizza, when asked for a medium size pizza. Do not recommend, go to the restaurant instead at least you'll get your food hot

Felt I had to review to say what amazing and helpful staff work here. Came in to order a pizza using an e-gift card on 28.09.23 that have been having trouble using. The guy who worked there (and female staff member) tried his best to help me redeem it, was very patient and spent ages with me trying different things on my phone to get it to go through. Unfortunately after about half hour gave up and used a different method to pay. Pizza was very nice and hot/fresh. Having contacted One4All egift card provider turns out that even though pizza hut is listed on the website, you cant use it for online booking. Overall, excellent customer service and thank you.

I have ordered from this restaurant 3 times, and all 3 times there have been severe delays and the delivery drivers told me about serious fighting/arguments between employees and customers going on in the restaurant. Do not order food from here unless you love cold stale pizza. I feel bad for any delivery drivers that have to collect food from here.

I ordered a pizza and fries, it’s so delicious BUT my driver was waiting 40 minutes to pick up the food

All done electronically now. Feel it is a bit impersonal, but the usual good standard of food. The waitresses were helpful.

I had a great visit today at Pizza Hut lovely pizza so delicious the food and the salad was amazing The help of Sarah and Angela was beyond perfect from the first minute till u left great service and i definitely recommend it and i would come back again here.

Horrible service, my fizzy drink was flat and when I asked for straws they were out and then I asked for ketchup and that was out !

Absolutely horrible! After a 1 hour wait with people screaming next to us! After we complained we were completely ignored! Pizza Hut is not as good as it was. I usually find myself going to zizi or pizza express instead of this horrid restaurant! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!

Came in for the Pizza Hut buffet with my family to have lunch. After for 15 minutes my husband went to ask if is anything ready from what we ordered - fries or onion rings. The member of the staff was explaining to my husband so much and waving his hands a lot... when my husbnad was heading back to our table the staff made an ugly face like we owend him something big. After 10 min he brought the food which was cold cold cold, well except for the fries. The corns were bitten a littlle, like he took from a previous leftovers. It was awful. Never ever going back again. Will not recommend to our friends and we have a few in the area. A star is too much!

Charlie who served our table was really lovely. Great service with a smile, give her a pay rise. The whole team was really helpful and they seemed to want to be there. Charlie gave a hearty welcome and gave us a table explaining the online ordering process. The wait for the food was appropriate. And she checked to make sure everything was ok. I saw her support an elderly couple who were struggling with the whole QR code situation with their order. Overall I'm happy and will recommend, 4 stars as I thought the prices for what you get weren't great.

I bought a meal for one and looked inside in front of the counter it was to small and I asked him please give me large size I pay difference and he told me all sold out and it it was 19:50pm Than I seated in front of the counter and I seen he was selling large pizzas he lied to me £7.50 for a small pizza Better place out there cheaper and larger pizza

Came in for the Pizza Hut buffet and was seated straight away. Alex was our server! Ironic because we share the same name! Alex was upbeat, attentive and really friendly! The pizzas tasted amazing! Really enjoyed this experience will be back!

I went to Pizza Hut for my daughters birthday. When we arrived it was quite busy however there were a lot of tables available. The manager said it would be an hour wait which we couldn’t understand as there was tables. She said that she had a big party coming in which would sit one side, I pointed out that there was still tables on the left hand side. However she said it would still be an hour wait due to her server not being able to cope. She was rude and abrupt, didn’t even apologise, upset my children and ruined my daughters birthday.

Shockingly bad. I love Pizza Hut - best pizza out there but this restaurant is terrible in all aspects. Avoid at all costs. I’m surprised this place hasn’t been shut down by Pizza Hut themselves.

The one star is for the food because it was pleasant, but the interaction I had with the manager was not ! I asked our server if it would be alright to charge my phone in the restaurant, she said that was absolutely fine. About 5 minutes later, the manager came over spoke down to me like a child, rolling her eyes and huffing, telling me to remove the charger as it wasn’t fair as they are struggling to pay their electricity bill, which is strange considering we had just paid £60 for our meal but nonetheless I was more than compliant to remove it. She then frolicked around, dropped some plates and I was met with more dirty looks during my visit. To conclude, we will not be returning, thanks.

Very unhelpful staff and the pizza was so cold and barely cooked. Will not be returning! That is the quickest £60 I have wasted!!!

My son Adam just tried to order a large Pepperoni Pizza with extra garlic dip, 2 boxes of potato wedges, 2 cheesy garlic breads and a large 1.5 litre bottle of Sprite and once he had obtained the correct telephone number, he was awfully greeted with a hatred of hang ups. The caller gave no reassurance to my son Adam about how to order a large Pepperoni Pizza with extra garlic dip, 2 boxes of potato wedges, 2 cheesy garlic breads and a large 1.5 litre bottle of Sprite . He is now very much sad and wants to go back to his mothers house. Week with son ruined. Now I'm definitely losing the case.

I went to Pizza Hut lakeside food court first thing I saw was a young lad working alone and being shouted at by an older guy at the back he brought him to tears was so hard to watch then when I sat down with my food I had mould on my pizza when going back to the counter to speak with the older guy he said no it’s not mould don’t know what it is to be honest so I just said I don’t want anything now and asked for a refund he was so rude and unapologetic deffo need more training in customer service

Very bad service today, I have order 4 margarita pizza and 3 veggie, the guy serving at front keep giving margarita out even those order after me but not replacing new order after 40min when I asked him where is my order he said their is not enough margarita pizza as still they are making . Very unprofessional service and guy was just chucking food very bad way like throwing away, no respect or not even know how to serve

I would give zero stars if I could. The lack of compassion from the company when my partner burnt his lip and got a blister from the food, that the staff didn’t tell us the desert was too hot it was disgusting. We wasn’t after free food it was more of the fact our two year old could have got hold of it. I don’t like companies that would rather take the money than care about there customers.

Ordered online and had to throw it in the bin due to it being way under cooked the pizza base was white and was missing toppings also missing sides and missing ice cream with the dessert? Spoke with Cathy the manager and she told me I can tell her it's undercooked and item's missing all I want but she ain't going to help? This is discrasefull my kids were gutted I can't believe this. This place needs shutting down its a con and a discrase.

Tommy who met us at the door, provided the perfect table and outlined the menu options was what made the entire experience once of the best birthday celebrations. Definitely returning for such excellent service and food.

It’s So expensive to eat in the restaurant. It’s cheaper to order a Pizza Hut for home delivery and use dealbot. Kids pizza meals are so tiny! And the brownies were rock hard. The staff were really nice and friendly though and very helpful but with all the rising bills these days we definitely won’t be eating in a pizza hut restaurant again.

Royally ruined my daughters birthday party. booked table for 10, when reached they said internet is down, cant accept cash so can't make us seat. WHY CANT YOU CALL if you services are down? BIG DISAPPOINEMT. useless staff and manager. I would never recommend anyone

Racist staff (Emma and Charlie other chubby girl refused to give her name). I have never been discriminated in this way. Went with my wife and two little ones at 11:30am was told we didn’t have a booking so need to come back in 20 mins. We waited outside and saw lots of people go in till the restaurant was full. (Hard to believe they all had bookings.) After 20 minutes we went back in and was told we had two other families in front of us. I was shocked how could this be we had seen them arrive. A group of boys saw the unfair treatment and questioned the staff they also confirmed that they didn’t book beforehand they just walked in. Waitress couldn’t take that she had been caught out clearly discriminating so started crying saying she doesn’t need this because a relative was in hospital with covid. “Not sure why this is an excuse to discriminate” other staff members came out and began trying to make a scene implying I had made her cry??? Then they began getting aggressive. When I told them I would raise this as a complaint they didn’t care and started shouting and becoming more aggressive. My children were really shaken up and couldn’t understand why these girls were so horrible to us for no reason. Emma and Charlie were two of the names the big girl and the most aggressive one refused to give her name.

Very strange place. Tried to book a table of 5 and a table of 6 two weeks in advance for a children's party. I called and was told, you cant book by phone, you have to book online now. We don't deal with bookings and besides we're fully booked, when did you want it for? Unbelievable place with terrible attitude. We'll go to Pizza Express instead thanks!

Really disappointed to have ordered from here. Ordered a vegan pizza, and had a pepperoni pizza sent instead. Not the kind of mistake that we can be accepting. Dairy is dangerous to some and some meats are very offensive to others.

We came to Lakeside to do shopping and thought we would have lunch at Pizza Hut. I have to say I’m not a big fan of Pizza Hut as I haven’t always received great service. As we walked in my wife was greeted with a great welcome and explained how we need to order etc. We sat down the server came and explained again. Our food was ordered and was served promptly. The server came and asked us how our food was. Food was nice and hot and actually good. The self service salad bar was clean to my surprise as in the past I have had a bad experience in other locations. Overall the experience and food was really good. The only thing I would say was the plates and glasses wasn’t upto the cleaning standards. We had to change 1 plate and wipe the glass with tissue. Could not get the greeter and server names. Well done Pizza Hut lakeside

Most of the staff are rude especially who I think was the manager male told me I shouldn't bring my children out if I can't control them (they was only stood right next to the table not going near anyone or anything and are only 2 and 4 years old)

No words. Me and my friends got kicked out for "running around the store", as customers said, and also my friend threw up after one slice it was that greasy. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE WITH TASTEBUDS

Garbage service and garbage food. It's so annoying that in the 15 minutes it takes for your 'fast' food to arrive, everyone else in the queue with you is long gone. Very rude as well.

Customer service was appalling and a certain member of staff (can't name as they don't wear name tags) was most unhelpful!! Waited 20 mins for food ( was meant to be 5 mins) because she forgot about it due to putting some cup lids out! Awful.

Rude customer service. Felt very unwelcoming, funnily the people who followed us in got a warm welcome, maybe because they were white. The lady even checked the £50 notes with her pen and shouted "well that's a real one", almost as though it's fake by default because of our skin colour. Subtle racist remarks must end in customer focused businesses.

Went to pizza Hut on the 29th of January... it was the only place that didn't have a long que so we thort it would be a quick lunch... we waited 15 minuets at to even be spoken to and when I got the attention of a member of staff who happened to be the manger I asked how long the wait for a table of 2 was as we have waited 15 minuets already. she responded with 'there is people in front of u and someone is sorting it' with a rude sarcastic attitude! If it wasn't for our waiter Adam I would of given 0 stars. Adam was great friendly and attentive... these two stars are for u Adam...but u deserve 5 stars...
