Order a pizza and they got it wrong I called up as I was on my way to work to get a busy by the foreign owner! It’s a dump of a place and staff are horrible I was told to F off by a member of staff when I rang the bell in store just avoid this place it’s terrible

Staff do not care, food took absolutely ages to come. We had young kids with us and having arrived at 7:30 we ended up leaving at 10:30. The desserts took absolutely ages despite staff being reminded twice about the dessert, the guy goes they forgot about the desserts. Personally I think that was deliberately done. The restaurant was absolutely dead and they were taking so long to serve. Half the staff were just waking around not doing much and even though our food wasn’t served, the waitress who was serving us was stacking up chairs. They were very inattentive, I’m very surprised they are able to operate like this for such a big chain. I have emailed Pizza Hut for a refund on this.

Unreadable menus as the ink had ran out, no lasagne, very limited flavours on bottomless drinks, no pineapple and on the kids menu - no fries, no corn on the cob and ran out of raspberry sauce. I’ve cream station a mess. Had to order on the app and 20 minutes later had to ask for our glasses. Restaurant half full, staff just shrugged their shoulders and no checking to see how our food was. Very expensive for what it was, will not return.

I attended with my family, 5 of us in total. We all took the lunchtime buffet option after seeing adverts for it and believing it was Pizza Huts main promotion during lunch. The pizza station had, at most, 2 pizza options at a time. There was a queue around the pizza station with many upset customers. There was no pasta available during the visit. When I asked for some I was told "be grateful you've got pizza". The lack of food available resulting in large groups of people and I believe pizza hut were not managing the covid risks well as a result. I spoke to the manager who said he was sorry but that it was a franchise and what could he do. I informed Pizza Hut but they didn't care. I've given 1 star because I couldn't give 0. Dreadful and avoid at all costs in my opinion. We all ate out a few days later at another Italian chain. Food quality and service was so much bigger.

Worst pizza I’ve had, no flavour at all. Had a bbq Americano couldn’t even taste the bbq. Salad was dry and coleslaw tasted like water, daughter wouldn’t even eat her pizza and she loves pizza. Very disappointed would never come back and a waste of money! Had to pay online before the food was brought out too which is a disappointment as I wouldn’t of payed for the food served to me today.

Had a vegetarian pizza. One of the horrible pizza I have had in years. Pizza had no taste at all. Never going back there

Went here today. I couldn’t believe how bad it was. There was only one waiter serving and waited longer than expected for food which it wasn’t his fault as he had to serve everyone else. I got a refill drink and didn’t even get another as the waiter was so busy! The salad pot was disgusting it looked as if it was on the side for hours as it was soggy and brown! Also our food came at all different times when ordered all together, I felt so sorry for the waiter! Absolute waste of time!

Well...overpriced food & certainly not the quality you pay for. The best thing about coming here was the atmosphere to see a few friends. We sent back 3 Pepsis which were flat & did not have any ice in. The salad did not taste fresh. we had the 2/3 pizza share which the pizza infact looked like an individual domino's pizza. The nuggets and sides were poorly executed and burt. Will certainly not be coming back here. Do not go for overpriced & poor quality food. £20 we spent and definitely wont be coming back.

I know its the new normal with Covid restrictions, but this was awful. The restaurant was freezing, air condition on Max, very uncomfortable. You have to order on an website using your phone, but most of the menu was then subsequently not available. 2 pizzas some fries and coke for £50, way too much. Food was average, choice non existent. No salad, no garlic bread, no ice cream etc etc. If this is how its going to be, just shut and save us all the trouble.

Me and my partner decided Pizza Hut would be our date night of choice. We in and few tables was occupied but not busy at all! Got sat down straight away, with menus to hand. Ordered within 5 mins! Service is great! Once we ordered we was told we could hog to the all you can eat salad bar. Go up and unfortunately on a Friday night there was little choice with many dirty bowls placed with the clean ones and more than half the salad bowls to choose from had no food in them? 7pm not exactly walking in 5 minutes before shutting! Potato salad had beetroot dropped in it, No nachos, Most of sauce pots were empty, if you wanted mayo, tuff you ain’t getting any! I even asked if they were replacing some of the empty bowls on the salad bar and was told yes but the 2 hours I was there nothing was replaced or replenished. Now go up to get my drink from the unlimited drinks and wow low and behold! No orange tango, no Pepsi! Food comes and pizza was Devine couldn’t fault it! But £3.99 for no more than 15 french fries because the paper added to make them look all fancy took up 3/4 of the pot! Seriously disappointed and certainly will be double guessing dining in Pizza Hut again

I have always enjoyed pizza hut but i dont know if it is under a new manager as the place has drastically dropped in quality and hygiene. We had the buffet, very little choice and there seemed no rush to add more pizzas to the sections. The drink machine was just giving out water instead of soft drinks. The toilets were disgusting and dirty, the bins were over flowing. Really don't know what happened, but this resturant has really dropped down in quality and hygiene.

We called in before going shopping in the nearby retail park. Been visiting this restaurant for several years. It was very busy when we arrived, unusually we had to wait to be seated. We chose the buffet menu choice. A great choice of pizzas which were freshly cooked. Salad bar was running low at first visit but in fairness they'd been very busy, and it was refreshed and refilled during our meal. I ordered a hot drink, tea. As I reached the end of my drink was disgusted to find heavy staining at the bottom of the mug. This wasn't fresh staining, it was old and dried on. That's unacceptable, I wouldn't drink out of a dirty mug at home and don't expect a restaurant to serve me a hot drink in a filthy mug either, they either need to scrub the mugs clean or get rid.

i went today with my friends and 2 of them had the buffet, me and my other friend had the thin crust pepperoni pizza and it came out dripping in grease i thought to myself not to eat it but i didn’t want to wast money, it’s now 1 am (nearly 2) and i’ve been kept up by this sickness i’ve been feeling sick, and have now been sick i would like to make a complaint because this is the only thing i’ve eaten today, do not recommend this place at all, it was vile!!!

Recently visited this branch of pizza hut, service was good and efficient, freshly cooked and hot, had to wait a few minutes to be seated as it was a busy time, no complaints and enjoyed our meal

I used to visit here quite often, but after some disappointing meals stopped coming here. It's got to be at least two years since my last visit. We had been dining at the Harvester opposite a few times recently and discussed making a return visit and we were glad we did. The menu has very recently been changed it still includes many of the favourites with the addition of some new and exciting pizza options, chicken breast with various toppings and even a rack of ribs. We both thoroughly enjoyed our pizzas, the salad bar was well stocked and fresh and at a height easy to use for wheelchair user. But some difficulties negotiating the entrance door (for a wheelchair user), it's not an automatic door, although I am certain that staff would help if aware of problems, also no button to open the door into the toilet area. Fair enough I could ask for help but it's nicer not to have to do this.

The food was nice and came out quickly, the children enjoyed themselves which is the main thing. Definitely check the lunch deal as it works out so much cheaper that way.

Went for Saturday late lunch and rally pleased.£5.99 for younger kids includes mini pizza and make your own ice cream and a drink and then older kids £7.99 which is same as younger but with a side... And then they both had salad bar as well. So really good value.We had one of the new chicken melts and a flatbread pizza and both were really nice.Seemed a little short staffed but there was no major waiting time. Restaurant is nice and spacious and clean. Disabled parking at the front was good. Definitely go again

My friend and I were out for lunch and our pizza was very overpriced. On the website our pizza was only £11.90 yet when we ordered it, the price came out to £21.00. Disgusting. #pizzahut @pizzahut

Great mix for the buffet with fresh pizza being brought out constantly. We went in the week day and it was quiet. Nice welcoming reception and we could sit where we wanted.

Great service,great food . Salad bar is great and drink machine is always well stocked. Very clean and nothing is too much for them.only down side is the salad bar sauces are always nearly empty.

What can one say about Pizza Hut? It's known the world over and Pizza is cooked fresh (although they do a lunch buffet special) to your liking and free fresh salad (as much as one can eat). I eat here several times a month and I take my daughters there when they visit me.It's clean with a good service and not expensive.

Called here late lunchtime and ordered a sharing pizza, pizza was enjoyable and quickly served, pleasant surroundings and easy to park. Thought the £17+ PLUS price was a little on the high side though

We haven't eaten in a Pizza Hut for a few years and needed a quick Sunday afternoon meal so thought we'd try the 'new' buffet. But, there are plenty of other restaurants nearby (eg Tiffins) where the food is better and staff are more friendly and attentive. The buffet is £9.99 for salad and pizza but £2.85 extra for a soft drink. A range of pizzas were replenished reasonably quickly - but were mainly deep pan style. The pasta was disappointing having a mix of under and over-cooked pasta in the same pot. Also, the restaurant was really cold, so perhaps you are just meant to eat quickly and leave.... but we won't be back.

Great welcome from the staff who took time to seat us and chat , Lindsay was very helpful and friendly. The food was very tasty and well presented, I was very happy with my visit . Well done to all

Tried the lunchtime deal for the first time as have heard a lot about it. Great deal; however it would be much more helpful if the pizzas are actually labelled so you know what they are. Also a selection of thin crust aswell as deep pan; for the people that don’t like deep pan. Salad was also a good selection; if I am being picky maybe the addition of a bread roll similar to harvester would be a benefit. The lovely waitress (middle-aged lady with grey hair in ponytail; sort didn’t see her name) was fantastic; gentleman who I can only imagine was the manager (different shirt) was stood at the till on his mobile phone which seemed unprofessional. Overall a good visit; could easily of been an excellent visit!

After cinema tea with family. The tables were sticky, the floor littered with food, the salad bad disgusting with food and sauce debris. The pizza we had was ok but that's about all. Staff inattentive. I suppose you get what you pay for but with other choices in this retail park avoid pizza hut if you can!

Great food, excellent service and affordable for families. Pizza Hut, it is what it is and does exactly what it says on the can. I love Pizza and salad and in my opinion, Pizza Hut is one of the better places to eat.

This place is is dirty. The table was sticky as were the menus. My friends did have pizza, but to be honest it was not a place I could eat in. I did order a salad bowl and unlimited drinks from the dispenser, but that was all filthy too. Never again and as a multi-national chain they should have people monitoring the hygiene standards.

Having found that there are no Pizza Hut deliveries to the hotel I am staying at, which seemed strange, I decided to visit the restaurant instead. Not a problem though because I do enjoy the salad!There were a few families in when I arrived, but far from busy... it was a Sunday night soon after Christmas so perfectly acceptable. The waitress muttered something to me and I was seated. I ordered a £14.99 deal which was a choice of a few starters, any individual pizza and a drink, not bad value for money. I approached the unlimited salad bar and noticed that lots of items were low or missing. The sweetcorn was swimming in water and you had to squeeze the tongues to get rid of the excess. The pasta dishes had not been topped up. Considering they were not busy that was a total disappointment. I ordered the chicken wings for starters. That was a total mistake!I was served 6 chicken wings. I must say welsh chickens must be tiny because each one was around the size of my thumb or smaller. Not sure how they are cooked either because the bones were too hot to hold, yet the chicken edible. The plate was cleared and my pizza brought out and slid on to the table. “There’s your pizza” was the comment as the waitress had already turned away from me and was gone!The pizza was tasty and enough of it. I had the American base so not too much dough and not too crispy. As I finished my meal I notice I felt cold. I looked around and noticed others were sat there in their coats also, just be trying to save in the heating bills. I asked for the bill and once again a pot with the receipt was slid on to the table in passing. I went to pay and simply completed the transaction without many words at all. I then realised that at no point had anyone asked me if my meal was ok or if it had been ok. The staff didn’t seem to care at all. Lots of training or recruiting opportunities at this venue. I certainly won’t be visiting again.

It is what it is whit the food small portion sizes but it taste good, I really like the flavor thing whit the soda,the service was very good.

Visited last month for a last meal out with a friend before leaving to go abroad. The man that was serving us was really rude, so much so that we were wondering whether we should ask him what we had done wrong. When I asked if I could have some mayo with my chips he told me to go get it myself, we weren't asked how our food was even though we left a considerable amount (my food was cold), my friend ordered a pizza advertised as 15 pound on the menu and the man gave her a larger size pizza without asking her and was charged 21 pounds. About 15 minutes after we finished our food the man FINALLY walked over, looked at us and said 'you done?' before clearing our plates and saying nothing else. We quickly paid and left feeling offended and ripped off. Won't be returning.

The worst pizza I've ever had very dry and no taste to it and well over priced for what you get .....dominos is much better...stay very good tho

Visited for dinner with a group of friends. Good environment, and friendly waiter. However, we had only been sat down for five minutes before the waiter came to take a food order. Would have appreciated a bit longer to look over the menu. However, the food was delivered nice and quickly, and was good.

We attended Pizza Hut Spytty for the first time and we won't be returning. To start with we were just put at a table with no waitress in site, there were only 6 people including us in the restaurant. Eventually the waitress took our order and I went up to the salad bar that looked like it had been out all day. No sauces labelled, grated Carrot all dried and shrivelled. My partner ordered a started and was given a completely different one to what he had ordered. The pizza was nice but my daughters meal had 1/2 boiling hot chips and 1/2 freezing cold. The whole experience put us back £52 and it wasn't worth half of that. Not worth the trip.....

Buffet very good value, but please no music ! When you want to catch up with friends you don't want hear music blasting out. If you have to have it , please lower it. I very nearly turned round and walked out. It was only because my friend had set her mind on pizza that I didn't.

Very pleasant staff, not particularly busy on a Monday night. Gentleman on the till offered us free drinks while we wait for our pizza, really nice touch.

We came here the other day for the lunch buffet, it was fairly quiet and we did enjoy ourselves the pizza tasted lovely but I didn't find that they were refreshing them as often as I'd like and they didn't really change the pizza they put out which was a bit disappointing. But it was a nice family meal out

After a long day, my friend and I walked out of TGI Fridays in Newport because of the terrible customer service. We decided to go to Pizza Hut, one of our favourites. We were not disappointed. Great atmosphere, lovely food, and our waitress (wish I had remembered to get her name) was so friendly and delivered amazing customer service.

Went with my partner on 14th Feb for lunch we had the pizza buffet. The pizza was cold and not a great deal available. Service was awful just told to help ourselves to plates and glasses and we're not spoken to again until we wanted the bill which we had to go to the bar for as nobody wanted to deal with us. Service really needs to improve I'm afraid.

We tried to order from the internet to pick up however was told when we got there that's it's a different menu on the Pizza Hut web page We then had to order to large ones as it was cheaper ok with that My order Prawn pizza with jalapeños and rocket My wife order was chicken with mushroom but no mushroom so asked for rocket instead Twp dips together with onion rings and garlic cheeses bread Think my wife's pizza was waiting on counter for a good ten minutes!!! When we got home no rocket on either pizza no dips and pizza was cold Dissapointing to say the least

The Pizza was ok, hubby is a coeliac so it's great they offer a gluten free base, unlimited salad bar but only few choices and repetitive.Reason for only 3 stars.....I found the restaurant tatty and tired.It felt no care is taken with cleaning or finer detail, E.G skirting board, light fitting etc.Service was ok, the lad initially taking the order had to ask a colleague for help when we asked about extra sides which are gluten free.All in all not a great visit.

After months of feeling like pizza but never wanting to order in as it doesn't taste the same, we decided to go to pizza hut, Newport. Well, I can honestly say I was not disappointed in the slightest. Salad cart had great variety. The food came out piping hot and tasty. Richard served us alongside a lovely helpful lady who's name we didn't get. We were so full that we had to ask for a box to take home what we didn't eat as it was so nice see didn't want to leave any of it. Really enjoyable night out, we will definitely be returning. Keep up the goods work pizza hut team as you are doing a very good job. Thank you and Merry Christmas to you all.

What has happened to Pizza Hut? I feel I am being generous giving them a three star 'average' rating. I used to love taking the grandchildren to Pizza Hut after the cinema. After yesterday, however, we will choose to go elsewhere. Everything looked like it needed a good wipe over. The tables were smeary and greasy. The floor looked as if it hadn't been cleaned in a while and the chairs were 'sticky'.We paid over £27 for two individual pizzas, a few chips, an apple juice and a pepsi.Time to try somewhere else I think !!!

This will be a short review as we didn't stay long. We dared to do a family outing on a Saturday afternoon. We planned to go to Pizza Hut after some shopping. We got there 2.45pm hoping we would still be in time for the buffet lunch.First problem was all 3 disabled parking spaces were taken. At least one car (pictured) wasn't displaying a blue badge (standard wherever you seem to go nowadays). Our problem is one of us is a wheelchair user! We had to park in a regular space where there was not much space at all. Why do people think its clever to abuse the disabled parking spaces.Got in there and it looked very small and busy. Not many staff and those we saw weren't in a hurry to come and seat us. They looked short staffed, unable to clear tables quickly and disorganised. It all looked chaotic and messy - appalling. Two members of staff said they would clear a table and be with us but this was taking ages while we were waiting by the bar and entrance. I told one member of staff about the disabled parking issue but he didn't say much and wasn't interested.The salad area put us off the most though. It was very small and didn't look very clean, tidy or appetizing. It didn't look like it had been monitored or refreshed in a while. Just because its free doesn't mean it should be left in such a state and why so small? Newport is a city now and located in a retail park it doesn't take a genius to realise there will be a few customers especially on a weekend! We decided to leave and go for food elsewhere. First impressions are important not that this Pizza Hut seems that bothered. Making your customers feel welcome so they can relax and enjoy themselves is also important but we don't think this Pizza Hut cares especially on a busy weekend day.We have been to many better organized, more welcoming, cleaner and better staffed Pizza Huts in South Wales but this isn't one of them and we will not be returning.

Typical Pizza Hut really, they are all the same and just love the salads !Was only a few in when I went, no delay and very quick service and food was great. Perfect after a long drive when starving hungry. Be careful if go by postcode my satnav took me to Pizza Express to start with, had to phone restaurant to find location it's just round the corner opposite Cineworld. Worth a visit !

The pizza we got was lovely but for almost £5 I would have appreciated real chips instead of fries out of a bag. Service was lovely and very quick.

Fabulous menu for kids - plenty of choice and a lovely salad bar that you van help yourself to. Friendly staff and reasonable prices

We had the displeasure of experiencing this restaurant on a stop over to see relatives Firstly the restaurant wasn't busy, 12 people we counted were dining, however we had to go to the waitress to order our food, we waited nearly half an hour for 2 pizzas, the restaurant was sorry with remnants of past diners food on the floor under our table, the salad bar looked as though it hadn't been cleaned all day with bits of food and sauces all around the sides, the staff although pleasant seemed as though they were only going through the motions.. We've been here 2 times before in 2015 and from this experience... Somethings changed and gone wrong...I wouldn't recommend or return to this particular Pizza Hut

We went here for the buffet on a Friday lunch at around 13.00 we got there and was no pizza ready had to wait 10 minutes before the pizza came out, then they had arrived, and they were all small pizzas time we got to the front they had gone, slowest ever service and don't think any of the staff in there know how to smile! Dominoes pizza for us next time!

Is just the worst place I've been in my entire life. The service was ok but is not enough restaurant dirty plates and cutlery even worst

As a regular visitor to here I have never had cause to complain, all the elements that make up an enjoyable evening are delivered.On the last visit the restaurant had under gone a make over which was far better, the food is always enjoyable and a well priced family meal.I love visiting here with all the grand children, they accommodate large family parties very well.Great job.

Some pizza huts are excellent, some good and a few pretty poor. This is one of the excellent ones. We have eaten here on a number of occasions and always have good food and find the staff extremely helpful and very friendly. They don't even seem to mind clearing up the inevitable mess of the floor that our kids always seem to leave everywhere we ever eat out!We'll be regular visitors here for a long time to come.

I visited with my husband and daughter, we got served by a waitress straight away , we had the salad starter which was very nice , I had a thin healthier pizza , my husband had a creamy pasta and my daughter had the kids meal pizza , everything was very nice and tasty ,the unlimited pop is great especially for kids and the unlimited ice cream factory too . We will definitely be visiting again .

We visited this Pizza Hut when we found ourselves in the area this week and decided to stop for a meal. Having become recently Disabled, I am using a Wheelchair for the majority of my time outside the house and this is where we encountered the first and biggest problem. The flooring (particularly on entrance to the Restaurant) is uneven and the lip of the door is INCREDIBLY high. My Husband had to tilt me up to get me in. The flooring in the restaurant has large rubber borders everywhere which at points (such as going to the bathroom, salad bar or to get a drink) cause problems for people with limited mobility. Both the Salad Bar and the Drinks Station are too high for someone in a Wheelchair to access - Had it not been for My Husband, I would have had to go without! Our Waiter was a VERY friendly young man who seated us where we had requested to be sat and was incredibly (if not a little over) attentive during our meal. He did not tell us that we could find glasses and bowls at the drinks/salad stations so we kept asking for them and he kept walking off! We figured it out when he kept not returning :/ During our meal, the staff were loudly laughing, joking and singing along to songs that were already loudly playing in the restaurant. We like a family atmosphere when we go out to eat but it did get a little disconcerting when every once in a while someone would loudly and off-tune burst into song right behind your head!The meal was very overpriced for what we received. Although tasty, the pizza's particularly were incredibly dense and oily. I could not finish my meal and had to bring some home with me, as did my Husband who has ZERO appetite problems!The only other problem we encountered was accessing the Disabled Bathroom. My Husband has to assist me in the Bathroom and although the layout of the Disabled Toilet was spacious and superbly equipped, the doors leading from the cubicle and into the restaurant are SUPER HEAVY and again, without my Husband being there to assist me, I would have been stuck in a freezing-cold passage until someone else needed to use the facilities!We will not be returning again to Pizza Hut which is a shame as I have such fond memories of eating there with my family when I was a child.

this used to be my 'go to' restaurant. Not anymore sadly. The quality of the food inlcuding the salad has deteriorated to the extent that I would now rather go hungry than eat here. Following my last visit when I returned the food uneaten I will not be returning.

Went here today for a buffet meal with all the grandchildren before the cinema. The meal was very nice quite alot of choice(but a bit slow replacing things). The service was good and the waitress was very pleasant. Everyone enjoyed themselves.

Pizza Hut has always been our favourite, their pizza's are the best. They have changed their starters menu, we had crisps with pulled pork, OMG they are fantastic, cooked to order so arrive warm sprinkled with paprika and covered with melted cheese we chose pulled pork but you can have cheese and onion instead, well worth a try, hard to resist, we returned there for another try after a few days. The staff are friendly and helpful, the waitress we had was really happy and recommended the crisps, pleased we took her advice... Pizza Hut off Spitty Road..

After a visit to the sales we thought we would call in for the buffet as we're normally in work on weekdays. It took 10 minutes for a staff member to acknowledge we had walked in, we were shown to a table and said somebody would be with us shortly. Another 10-15 mins had passed. Eventually the same person came and asked what we wanted, we said two buffets and two unlimited drinks, we were told that buffet closed at 3pm even though they were still bringing out pizzas :/ he went and asked his supervisor if we could have it and he agreed, other people walked away when they were told it closed. We weren't told that we were to collect our own glasses for the drinks, therefore we thought he had forgotten us. It wasn't until I saw a child grab one hidden away by the drinks machine (after we had ate). The staff are not friendly, pizzas are cold, salad was bland. Will not visit this Pizza Hut again

Nice restaurant, handy for a bite to eat when visiting the shops or cinema. Good value for money, with good variety of food supported by excellent service team.

I have visited this particular Pizza Hut 6 times over the last 12 months, the visits have been a mix of buffet lunch and evening meals.Buffet: Overall this is usually a two star experience. The pizza's are extremely slow to be refreshed causing a stampede when they do eventually bring some out and the toppings on the pizzas are kept to the absolute, quite frankly downright mean, minimum.The salad bar is average at best, certainly nothing to write home about.Evening Meal: Depends on when you go, they are frequently short staffed during the busy periods causing long wait times. The actual food is a marked step up over the lunch buffet option, but won't exactly blow your mind.Compared to other pizza huts that I have visited this one rates down the bottom, perhaps with some investment, additional staff and a decent manager it could climb back up.For now I'll only visit when there is a good offer on.

Always busy sometimes frantic, plenty of children and sensible to book in advance, although they will always find you a place. Service is friendly and the food is good, not fantastic but reliable, clean and a reasonable size at a reasonable price. Good range and they even have low calorie options.

Ordered a pizza from Cwmbran at 07.23 guaranteed at 7.53. Phoned at 8.40 to be told order on its way. So cold could not eat it. Phoned to complain to be told it was hot when left. Had a refund but what a joke and awful service.

Food was terrible, staff couldn't care less- will not be returning- despite the restaurant not being particularly bust

First visit to pizza hut restaurant in many years, it was underwhelming. I was surprised at how quiet it was for a sunday lunchtime but there are so many other chain restaurants that do it better. This restaurant is small and tired. The staff were friendly though and that is why there are 3 stars and not 2. This restaurant is let down by the food and having no atmosphere. Music is on outside but very quiet inside, the salad bar was not full and the food didn't taste as good as pizza hut delivery. Not sure why! I will stick with delivery next time.

Me and my partner came here for food and there was a problem with food. The staff dealt with it incredibly well.

Does anyone even still go here? I went in there as the surrounding restaurants we're packed and there was 2 other tables. The food was nothing to right home about and the service was slow. Next time I'll save my money and go home and order take out

The last few times we have come here there has been no soap and a handful of toilet paper available, seems strange to start a review with this but I am sick of telling the staff there. Not the cleanest of places on the most recent visit here, which is why we will give it a wide berth and allow them time to read this review and clean it up a bit!Deep pan heavenly veg pizza is delicious. Can be expensive for what you get though in comparison to other restaurants nearby.

Imagine what time you would be served on a busy night? Place is dirty and staff are looking for their convenience rather than service. Won't be back!!!

Food was good value for money, clean and salad bar was full. Parking was easy. We went on the easter bank holiday weekend and unfortunately it was very busy. There just weren't enough staff. Although they were all polite and trying their best - service was slow and we were sat for quite a while before being served. When the waitress did get to us she was lovely, helpful and going as fast as she clearly could- but they were all running around constantly looking stressed. This made for an awkward experience, although I appreciated that they were doing their best it really ruins the experience for the customer.

The food here is always consistent. The staff are invariably helpful with a friendly attitude. It takes a little longer to get your food served so not a place to go if youre in a rush (unles its the lunchtime buffet). Otherwise all round good pizza

The food and eating habits in this country have become more and more civilised over the past 10-20 years, and authentic food is in abundance. Whilst I recognise that Newport isn't the best example of this, Pizza Hut is an example of a long gone era where tasteless, unhealthy food was acceptable. The pizzas taste the same regardless of what you order, the salad bar is a joke and the service is well below average. Unfortunately, whilst I don't think the individual restaurant is well managed on face value, I'm afraid to say that I think Pizza Hut is on the way out anyway.

This pizza hut hasn't got the best atmosphere, it feels cold and not very cosy. I came here with a friend for a quick meal when we didn't feel like a McDonalds. The pizzas aren't that good, I much prefer Pizza Express in the retail park. The salad buffe has the potential of being good but most of the sauces had run out and most of the things on the buffe looked a bit sad. Maybe this is better suited for families with children as you wouldn't have to worry about it getting too expensive but I would not come again.

Went here for lunch after visiting the cinema with my family. It was busy (New Year Sales!) but we were seated within 5 minutes. Opted for the All You Can Eat Buffet which came with unlimited salad bar. Also opted for unlimited drinks. We love the salad bar but the pizza buffet is awesome. Re-stocked frequently, the food is delicious. They probably made money on us but it must be close LOL. Although a limited selection (8 pizzas this time) the selection was spot on for us. We will be back!

I came to Pizza Hut last Saturday with my friends at lunchtime. Upon arrival, despite it being busy, we were seated very quickly and the food arrived fast too. Me and my friend had a cheese & tomato pizza with my other friend having a meat pizza. The bonus of the meal was having unlimited salad and drink which makes you very stuffed and the salad is completely free too. Would definetly reccomend to families who love pizza and will definetly be returning again! Well Done Pizza Hut.

Very convenient after a visit to the cinema being just a 2-300 yards from Cineworld. Been several times and it's never been too busy.

I came to the pizza hut in Spytty with 8 friends of mine. We came because we heard of the "all you can eat buffet". This "all you can eat buffet" cost just £6.99 per person, which was great value for money, since I had 21 slices of very good pizza. The salad and garlic bread is also part of this £6.99 deal. There was unlimited drinks as well which was a bonus. We all enjoyed the food and will return again very soon. I recommend coming here especially if you like pizza or the £6.99 deal is on.

Went as family of 4. Great service and lovely pizza's. Salad bar was stocked well also which was. Bonus as had been empty last few times we had been when busy.

Had the weekday lunch buffet. The price appeared to be reasonable value BUT pizzas came out to the buffet table very slowly meaning the fairly full restaurant seemed to be constantly waiting for pizzas to be restocked. I presume this was deliberate in respects that the slower food appears people don't eat as much and then they give up waiting.Staff pleasant enough and food tasty when it appeared

The restaurant was not that clean pizza on the buffet menu were of a poor quality and ran out quickly the staff didn't seem to worry too much about it, the salad bar wasn't up to much and the pasta was dry we tried to explain this to a member of staff but the answer we got was "try to order from the main menu next time"! not the answer I wanted.

We have recently moved to NEWPORT & have found this Pizza Hut to be excellent.We have been served by 4 different waitresses over the past months & they have all been excellent-far better service & attention than in some top of the range restaurants available.Well done Spytty Pizza Hut.

After my recent visit this has got to be the best Pizza Hut in the UK ! I have never had such incredible service at these restaurants, it was all the little things, our waitress, who was going off to train as a manager was helpful attentive, great with my granddaughter, bending down to her level to talk to her, and even checking if I had enough milk for my tea. I have always believed great service is all the little bits, just giving that tiny bit more!

Service was fine here, staff friendly, though we did have to wait longer than we should have had to for someone to welcome us and get us seated. The place was fairly quiet and there were staff milling around. What dropped the rating considerably however was the cleanliness of the place; considering it was only 4.15pm and quiet there the place was noticeably dirty. The floor around our table was sticky was spilled drinks and there was some standing liquid on the floor too. There were crumbs and other food debris on the chairs and table too.

Ordered a takeaway , as my girlfriend and I were shattered from an emotional weekend!! This was really really nice. Sounds terrible but do not ever doubt a burger pizza until you have tried it. Loved it! Our last dominos pizza made us feel ill, we both really enjoyed this takeaway and if we ever become too lazy to move off our couch , and also too lazy to decide on anywhere, this will be our choice!

I came here on Wednesday 26th February before going over to spytty to buy a present for my sister's birthday with a friend. Upon entering, we were seated very quickly despite it being busy. After about 10 minutes, we ordered drinks because nobody came to us and asked what we wanted. We then went to help our self to their unlimited lunch buffet at a reasonable price for 6.99. This is where you can have as much pizza and pasta as you want. As we are veggies, we could only have cheese & tomato and a vegetarian pizza. Lots of cheese pizza but there wasn't much veggie pizza which I was quite disappointed about with the fact is that I do really like vegetable pizza. But that didn't quite stop us from enjoying our meal as the salad bar is the best. You can choose from salad, pasta, dips and some tasty grapes and apples. My friend didn't quite enjoy the food as he prefers thin crust to a deep pan thick crust but they didn't have any. After eating as much as we could, we paid for our bills separately and left the restaurant. Overall, the staff were very nice and helpful and I would definetley return for another meal here. I do reccomend this restaurant to families with children as the children can have kids meals and they have colouring books and crayons to go with them. :)

My children deserved a reward for working hard at school and they are fans of Pizza Hut. Having read previous reviews I was not buoyed with confidence.I am glad to say that my experience was exceptional. Great friendly service, choice of food (even for none cheese eaters).Certainly look to visit again.

Not being a regular to fast food places. Its always nice to have the option if you fancy a no fuss quick meal. If visiting the nearby cinema Pizza Hut is located in an ideal place. Its clean, lots of parking. The staff very friendly and eager to please and the Pizza is fabulous. We were even surprised there were gluten free choices available.Fabulous!

I regularly visit this Pizza Hut with my teenage children and we are always left feeling more than satisfied with both the service and the quality of the food. The salad is always fresh and tempting, the pizzas are the best I have ever eaten, and always served piping hot, I usually ask for more cheese and it arrives just as I like it. The staff are always cheerful and friendly and helpful and we are able to pick our table provided it is not too busy. The only things that let it down are the coke/pepsi (not certain which they serve) which is always far too sweet and sickly, and the desert range a little limited. But then I come here to eat Pizza and usually by the time I have done this I am too full to even consider desert. You are also able to take home any uneaten pizza (which is the same at any Pizza Hut). I would also like to add that the quality and service are consistently good and I like that in a restaurant; that I know what to expect each time I visit and that I will leave a satisfied customer.

We ate here recently after a visit to the cinema. We had intended to eat at an empty Frankie and Bennys but the waiting time to get served would have been 45 mins so we went across the road to Pizza Hut. I must admit I was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness and warm welcome. there were four of us and we were shown straight to our table and supplied with a drink whilst we studied the menu. My wife and I both had pizza wich was not the best to be honest , barely average , our friends had lasangne which they said was beautifully tasty. The unlimited salad was glorious fresh and tasty , I made three visits to the salad bar. Our waitress was extremely pleasant and helpful, I wish I had her name. On the whole a reasonably good meal for a reasonable price. Will we eat there again ? not if it's crowded but otherwise yes.

Visited this restaurant pre cinema on a Saturday night. Having not visited Pizza hut for about 12 months I was pleased to find the unlimited free salad offfer - until I got to the salad bar! Potato salad used to be creamy mayo and who new baby potatoes now its the cheap stuff you get in the supermarkets. The coleslaw was even worse. Rest of the salad so boring and tasteless no wonder its free. Nothing really wrong with the pizza apart from being overpriced. I added extra mushroom and peppers to mine for £1.10 each - however apart from onebit of each I could not spot any more what a rip off! Staff were very young and obviously in experienced. This chain needs to do so much better to compete in todays market. I won't be going again.

We had the lunch time buffet style meal and it was stale, clearly reheated, staff were rude and rushed us to finish. Table was sticky and menu was stuck together with bits of old pizza. Lucky it was reasonably priced but still not amused
