Pizza Hut Delivery in North Hertfordshire

They always get my order right, and delivered in a timely fashion; last time they didn't have the drink I ordered in stock so they got someone to go get one and delivered it to me later. 5 points for effort!

Over cooked (burnt), reduced size, large is not a large anymore. Tasteless cardboard, and over priced. What is going on?!? Not getting any more orders from me ever again. So disappointed. It's only a pizza, how can you mess that up?!

Great for collection ordering via website completely the opposite on the phone, Terrible customer service is a massive understatement. Love pizza hut pizza but this a now a matter of principle, I'm will now be using Dominoes, they have lost a loyal customer.

Waiting times are misleading. App misquotes delivery times by at least one hour. Zero customer centric.

Ordered for delivery some items missing, said to the driver he didn't care,called no one answered phone, ended up driving down there which didn't want to do,didn't care at all said we should of called.....I did......food now cold wouldn't recook very disappointing won't be going back would rather wait and go to a restaurant but definitely won't be a pizza hut restaurant........

Not good pizza. Thin crust felt like cardboard, little rubbery cheese. Fries was seasoned beforhand, we just wanted plain fries not some flavoured hard potato. Not ordering again

Wrong toppings on Pizza and won't answer the phone all night to rectify. Not happy! Complaint made to head office.

Ordered a delivery but when it turned up several items were missing and the pizza was burnt. Driver said he would go and get the missing items but never came back. Customer services offered me 10 Slices (reward system) as a sorry, which is just their way of getting more money out of you.

Talk about worst customer service ever. Asian guy wearing a beanie with a mustache and tattoos is an embarrassment to the company, feels like I'm doing him a massive favor being there. If you don't wanna work there mate just leave 🤷🏼‍♂️

Delivered early (not that it is a huge issue) and they sent a replacement pizza as an apology. Driver was fantastic too, good food and good people.

Not a good experiences at all, pizza had hardly no cheese, didn't taste great at all and was undercooked in places, best bit was the sweet chilli dip...won't be ordering from this pizza hut again!

Just ordered for family, cheese was non existent and where there was cheese it was rubbery. Garlic tear and share was undercooked as was the chicken strips. Fed up now, keep giving you chances: Yet when we used to go into a restaurant for the buffet it was so much nicer. Pizza gogo it is from now on

50 minute wait time, cold food and melted ice cream

Do not try and order online it will take your money and the order won't get through to the shop 2/2/22 no mention of this happening. I'm writing this so as I have proof and hopefully get my money back. Sort ya online ordering out. Took ages for the declined email to come through even after receiving a confirmation notification. So confusing. Don't even offer anything for the inconvenience of having to then sort food out after it taking ages to try order online. Won't be eating till 7pm now mehhhh

Had two own fried pizza, amazing today. Super tasty, had hog roast pizza without cheese (as dairy allergic) was very tasty too!

Pizza Hut. Totally under-rated! The original and still the best 👍👍 the Hitchin one is always ready in about 20 mins if you collect.

The pizza’s I ordered were cold, in the past the pizza’s I ordered tasted hot and fresh but todays order was cold and tasted like it was made and left on the side, not coming back here again!!

Ordered a few times and always been fast and hot, shocked to hear hardly anyone tips the drivers but always deserve it from me, great jobs guys!

Pizza was over an hour late despite the website saying there's a delivery guarantee of 40 mins and they offer you a £10 voucher as compensation. I called the Hitchin Hut to ask where my delivery was and explained it was over an hour late and all they said was it'll be there in 2 mins, no apology and no offer to compensate me at all. 2 mins later, pizza still didn't arrive and i was back on the phone to them. Won't be using again even if it was cheap.

Used to really like the pizzas here, but over the past 6 months the quality of the margarita pizzas (the only one I tend to order) has gone really down hill. It's now a half cooked greasy, sloppy mess. Tried eating a slice but made me retch, so threw it all away. Such a shame.

We ordered as a treat for our daughter's birthday. We ordered online and were given an ETA of 40-50 minutes, but after around 35 the tracker app updated to say it had been delivered. We thought maybe it was a glitch, but when it got to an hour we thought we better phone and check. During the first call they told me it was "with the driver". We waited another 15 minutes and still no food. I called again and was again told it was with the driver. They explained the driver was new and doesn't have a phone, so they couldn't get in touch with him to chase it. Quite how you can work as a delivery driver and not have a phone I have no idea! I asked if they could remake the order and I would collect it, and she said they couldn't as the driver had their only copy of the order - which seems very unlikely. Another 20 minutes passed without any food so we called again. We were then told they didn't have any record whatsoever of our order! I asked how it was therefore possible in the previous two calls it was "with the driver", and was told an elaborate story about how her eyesight is poor and she has misread another address on our street as ours. The other address supposedly also had an order at the same time - although as this is a bungalow with people in their 80s living there I fail to believe this! When asked what they were going to do to rectify it they told us to contact head office. We ordered a Domino's, which was delicious and prompt!

Very poor. My delivery took over an hour to get to Baldock. I phoned but didn't get an answer. The delivery driver just shrugged and told me not to ring Hitchin and said to contact customer service. They are pretty useless as well, no offer of reimbursement just free 10 slices from my next order and now they keep sending me emails of offers. As if I would. not a chance! If you want to pay over £16 for a couple of mouthfuls of warm pizza and one of soggy nachos and tastless salad. ( the drink was fine, but it was in a bottle so you couldn't mess that up could you?) Then go ahead.

AVOID! Driver got our order mixed up with the people that she delivered to before us. Then she went back to the previous customers house to swap the orders over and brought our order to us straight from someone else’s house! Unacceptable at the best of tunes let alone with what’s going on in the world with Coronavirus. Realising we weren’t going to take the pizza the delivery driver drove off, my fiancé spoke to the manager on the phone who accused my fiancé of lying about the orders being mixed up and then accused my fiancé of swearing at her. She then became very argumentative and hung up. Won’t be using again!

Ordered Pizza for 12.30pm Still not here at 12.50pm and they are not answering phones. Poor

If I could give this zero then I definitely would! We ordered our pizza at 8pm, called at 9:15pm as it still had t arrive to be told that it was only just going into the oven!! The lady we spoke to said another 30 mins and it would be with us. It is now 10:15pm and we still do not have our food!! We were offered nothing as a good will gesture for the wait...never again will we order from there, she didn’t car at all, just told “it’s busy” shocking service or lack of should I say!

Wrong pizza delivered, and did not deliver dessert. Driver said give me 15-20 minutes and he'll be back. Surprise surprise nothing for an hour. Phoned the branch at 9.50pm and they said they'd deliver it as soon as possible. Nothing was delivered and I waited until passed 11 when they close. This is around the 5th time they've got something wrong with our order. Enough is enough, never ordering from them again. Complaint gone in to customer services

RUDE STAFF THAT ACT AS IF THERE ARE NO CONSEQUENCES FOR THEIR ACTIONS. We ordered a pizza online and then called an hour later to politely ask if there is any possibility it can be delivered slightly earlier. We got an incredibly abrupt 'No, call customer services'. No sorry or polite explanation as to why they can't. I hope Pizza Hut pay peanuts because they have employed monkeys!

I called up Hitchin Pizza Hut today to order a meat feast. Really excited n all until the woman on the phone started bloody shouting at me telling me to hurry up deciding on my door number when i'd explained to her that i work at a car dealership. She was incredibly rude down the phone and i wont be calling again. Domino's next time i think.

Bloody awful! Original order was wrong which wouldn't have been so bad if it wasnt unrecognisable. Had to dissect it to identify the remains. My guess is some pleb throwing toppings around trying to beat their p.b. in their defense they sent a replacement pizza promptly and the driver couldn't have been nicer. The replacement pizza however, turned out to be worse than the originals, which is really saying something. Barely a smear of tomato sauce resplendent under overcooked cheese and STILL managed to forget the 'free' dip. Have a bit of pride in what you do ffs! Will never use pizza hut again.

The buffet during the week is great value for money.

After reading these reviews I nearly didnt place an order frm Pizza Hut at Hitchin & this is the 1st time ive used this place... However I thought id try & on Friday 12th April at 15.58 I telephoned the woman who answered was very polite friendly & professional was told the order wld be delivered in approx 45 mins... Within 20 mins a knock on my door cldnt believe it pizza was delivered, absolutely piping hot & cooked to perfection was really delicious and the best pizza ive ever tasted will definitely be going back to this place on a regular basis, absolutely perfect

Rude on the phone when I was ordering my pizza for collation when I arrive to pick my order up they did seem to know what was going on along with getting order wrong.

Had a problem with online ordering so called up to ask about the problem and to try sort it out.. the guy that answered the phone to me, was rude, argumentative and also hung up on me. bad customer service!

Ordered for delivery, paid my money! After the time ran over for my delivery to arrive I called the hut to which they did not answer as they closed...so they had closed and my delivery had not arrrived and I had no way to Contact them! No one called to let me know if my order was even coming or not. In short they took my money and my food didn’t arrive. I always preferred to have delivery from this hut as the customer service for take away is appaulling, they don’t even deserve 1 star. Now delivery isn’t an option either and I will never spend my money here ever again!

I wasn't happy with the customer service when I phoned up this lady was very rude to me on the phone and I won't be going there or even phoning up it was not at all good i am 25 and I don't need someone being so rude to me on the phone I am not a child!!!!

Wife ordered pizza for me. It was rock hard (saved me going to the dentist for tooth extraction.) Just mentioned to female manager with drop dead attitude and I told her I was only informing her of how overcooked the pizza was and that I was not requesting another one.She then gave me a STORY about another customer saying theirs was not cooked enough and this was very strange. Obviously this branch does not know what the term'customer is always right' means HENCE I ORDER MY PIZZAS from down the road.pizza hut has lost my custom. If you are treated badly by this branch then STOP ordering from them like I did and don't let them degrade you.

The level of customer service is outrageous, take your business elsewhere. I ordered food for delivery from here, gave my address, contact information and paid. After approx two hours had passed I called to check on the status on my order and the response from management was "we don't deliver to your location". An attempt to defraud, based upon the fact no contact attempts where made to notify me of this botch. Note: If 0 Stars where possible thats where my review would sit because a 1/5 rating is far too generous.

Well done Pizza Hut! Expectations thoroughly met! Just tried ordering a pizza at the Pizza Hut Takeaway on Cambridge Road, Hitchin and don’t think I’ve experienced such a rude experience. I just wanted to know if they did a thin and crispy Hawaiian and the girl just kept repeating how many do you want, how many do you want, and then got arsey with me because I explained that I just wanted to know if they did them first before I ordered!!!!😳. It’s 400 yards from where I live but now we’ve ordered from from Papa Johns which is a further away👍🏻😁

After ordering online and my order not fully registering, 3/4 pizzas arrived on ‘two for Tuesday’ I contacted the shop for my 4th (and free pizza) and they refused to honour their promotion!! Never ordering from here again, obviously the customer does not come 1st.

Ordered two pizzas and one showed up. Was told the other would be on the way. Another hour later and still just one pizza. I'll write another review about the quality when/if it gets here - it's here. 1 hour 50mins later.

Ordered online for delivery, arrival time was good and delivery driver was friendly. However! One pizza was undercooked and still very doughy. Another was overcooked and dry. Garlic bread was good! Chips were undercooked and rather soft and soggy. Third pizza was supposed to be gluten free and it turns out (a couple of hours later in crippling pain) it was not. I checked again on their website and the gluten free is supposed to be square, the one we received was a normal pizza. As a coeliac I will be suffering for weeks now because of this simple error. Will avoid in future!
