Pizza Hut in Norwich

A lovely family meal out, the lunch time buffet provided multiple choice and the ice cream factory was a big hit with the kids.

We decided to book a table for a change to Sunday lunch. We arrived earlier than planned and was shown to our table and explained to about the ordering on app etc. All was going well until a group of children and parents arrived obviously from the gravity trampoline park across the road and the noise began, shouting across tables at each other screaming etc and the noise only got more when yet more parties arrived, at one point I even went to the toilet which is located upstairs and I could still hear kids shouting it felt more like visiting a kids soft play rather than a place we had payed good money for a meal at. We quickly left and safe to say will not be returning, I understand kids have parties but you have to also consider other guests that don’t wish to hear kids shouting Chug Chug at each other while drinking.

We only went because of a voucher and safe to safe we wouldn’t return. So dirty, toilets are gross, staff would rather be on their phones and when the manager realised we couldn’t order and pay for ourselves he seemed fed up. The menus were dirty, felt like you could catch something from them. It wasn’t even that busy and there was food all over the floor and benches. It was just an unorganised mess and we will definitely not return. Don’t waste your money people!

We had booked a table but still had to wait 30 minutes to be seated. Not much fun with two toddlers. Then waited over half an hour for food. OneE pizza was sent back as you had to spot the cheese. Salad was clearly not fresh.The ice cream machine had fun out so had to wait for this to be fixed.We won't be going back. They need a manager who can manage. Restaurant was not that busy and yet they could not cope. Pizza Hut it is about time you took notice of your reviews and improve matters. Training would be a good start.

Omg! This is the dirtiest place I’ve ever eaten. Glasses dirty with dry food Plates - took 5 attempts to get a clean one. Table - 🤢 Ice cream not working Pasta has loads of old pizza in it Pizza had to wait for (not even that busy) I’d complain but they might give me a voucher to come back 🤢🤢

An improvement from last visit (+2 years ago). We pre booked for a table of 7, post bowling. We were hesitant to book as last 2 experiences here were not great but we had heard it had improved so decided to give it a chance. We arrived at 6pm, it was very quiet but looked clean. The person who greeted us wasn’t very welcoming, he tried to seat us as a party of 7 on a table for 6 and suggested we could ‘squeeze up’, given the restaurant was almost empty we moved the table next to us to adjoin with ours making the table big enough, not a great start! Next came the battle with online ordering, it took us about 15 minutes to get everything loaded as we wanted it and paid. Long gone are the days of table service! However, from here things improved. The salad bar was fully stocked, and kept stocked, the salad was fresh and as you would expect from pizzahut. The pizzas and sides arrived fairly quickly, the food was piping hot, pizzas delicious and sides all very nice. Some of us also had ice cream factories. The server was friendly and helpful, she came back to check everything was ok. Overall food excellent and we would return.

Seems like a common theme with pizza hut now...cmcompletly cashless m, with that it seems they've lost all customer service and standards. The restaurant is dirty, the staff clearly haven't got any guidance as no customer service, im not actually sure why you still have restaurants, you may aswell be takeaway only based on that waste of money thus evening. We were a small family group that watched the staff clear the salad buffet and pick out old bits with bare hands, the food was not cooked qhen it funally arrived, im not sure the last time the floor was cleaned, i dread to think of the amhygine standard in their kitchen. They don't take cash at all, almost had to beg someone to take our order instead of using the crap website they insist you order through. It was just rank all-round.

It's a shame. This place used to be quite good and accommodating for families when we were young. The promise of a simple, good quality buffet was appealing back then. Now, the salad bar is bland and poorly maintained. Albeit, we didn't attend at lunchtime, meaning we missed the buffet, but the pizzas we ordered were dry and tasted like plastic. The toilets were a disgrace. We were barred from sitting outside as the tables were 'not yet clean'. The atmosphere, despite technically being a fast food restaurant, was low and smouldering. Overall, my brother enjoyed his individual pizza that had a thick crust. He discarded his salad bowl, however. Our pizza, costing a disgusting £27.00 thereabouts to share, wasn't even worth a quarter of the money and had a scattering of veg that looked like it had been prepared, frozen, defrozen. To make matters worse, they were out of chips, onions, musrooms, and peppers, which made it extremely difficult to pick out a vegetarian option for myself. It was ridiculously expensive, for very little in return, with mucky tables. Felt like I had been taken for a fool. Luckily, in the next few days, we would find a better resteraunt offering an extradinary service for the same prize that really put a smile on our faces to comensate. Never returning here.

We went for a 25th birthday celebration of 1 of my children. If they hadn't wanted to go there, we would not probably never go back. To start with, the server was FANTASTIC. She was very friendly, spoke to everyone, and made sure we were OK. I really can't say what a credit she is to the team. Ordered online via a qr code on the table. Drinks came quickly. They were out of mushroom and onions, so my veggie pizza was going to be very plain, so I changed it to a margarita pizza. Had to ask for the refund of the price difference between the 2 pizzas, it will take 3 days to get the refund. The salad bar was ok. It's a very, very expensive place for average food. The server made the whole meal

When our young birthday girl chose Pizza Hut at Riverside for her birthday meal, the adults all thought “oh no” due to not too good previous experience. We waited to be served….and waited…..and waited, so decided to order on the app. Pizza’s were tasty but no breadsticks or beetroot on the salad bar, the salad bar looked dull and uninviting to say the least. The staff have minimal customer service skills, the place is grubby. So many bad reviews on this particular Pizza Hut at Riverside which does not surprise me. So many other nice places to eat in this area, it would be no surprise to me if this this place closes down before too long.

We had a party with 12 children. The manager Tracey D was so helpful with organising, timings and getting everything ready so it all flowed smoothly. We emailed the food choices before so that it was all ready when we arrived. The other staff members were all very helpful and engaged really nicely. It made the occasion very special and removed the stress. Thank you so much.

Our lunchtime visit here wasn’t great but wasn’t terrible. Had to wait a while for pizzas to come out for the buffet, a few other customers asking servers when pizzas would be coming. Food was good, no complaints really, a few items missing from the salad buffet that I usually like but it was well stocked with alternatives. We were seated near a till and heard the general grumbling from servers which didn’t make for a relaxing lunch with the family but overall the food was good and the service ok.

£12.99 for a weekend lunchtime buffet (£8.99 Mon-Fri, what makes the weekend more expensive???) . I walked out feeling i had been robbed! Most of the time there were at least 8 people waiting for pizza to come out. When it did if you didn't push yourself to the front you'd miss out. Kitchen completely unable to keep up with demand. I had 4 slices and a bit of potato salad. Complete daylight robbery! Even the staff member who served me apologised for the weekend cost. Won't be back.

Sons birthday. His choice of chicken off child’s menu not available. Couldn’t swap the chicken from starters for it apparently so he couldn’t have meal deal. No ketchup apparently run out of that also apart from the tiniest amount from dregs of a bottle. Never asked if food was okay. Never delivered sons cake we brought in. So collected it and took home. Used to be lovely in there but with only 4 tables in really dissatisfied with quality availability and service.

So refreshing to have such incredible service, thank you Tracey for making our experience one we wont forget not just for the delicious food, but outstanding customer service. Take care!

We ordered our pizzas on our phones as requested, waited about 40 minutes, then two pizzas were put on our table that weren’t what we ordered. Young waiter apologised and took them away. My partners correct pizza was then bought out and was told mine would be along shortly. 15 minutes passed and my partner had finished whilst I still waited. Mine came over and the young waiter apologised and said we could have a refund on my pizza for the inconvenience. Whilst I was eating my pizza the manager said he would refund our whole meal for the issues caused. So overall a little but gutted about the service but it got rectified properly and the pizzas were yummy.

Ordered via app as advised but staff. Service was non existent. Food was grim, zero taste, bland and horrible. Mass produced sludge. Don’t bother with this chain, not worth the money.

An incredibly disappointing visit to Pizza Hut. Firstly, on entering, it appeared that most staff members were just sitting around the bar with only a couple of staff running around doing everything. Went to the salad bar. There were no cucumber, peppers, bacon bits, croutons or potato salad - I would have expected all of these on a Pizza Hut buffet. We had peppers on one of our pizzas so these were obviously on site. Our main pizza arrived undercooked and cold and were told the there was an error with the kids pizza and it would be with us shortly. Then we noticed there was no slice for serving the pizza and the waitress told us it would be with us in a second. We waited many minutes for this. The kids pizza took much longer to arrive. And when it did it was a deep pan instead of the thin crust we ordered. None of the pizzas had actually been cut properly to remove the slices. All in all a very disappointing experience, especially considering this is my stepdaughter’s favourite restaurant. I am afraid i will be disappointing her in future and eating elsewhere. I would have normally complained at the time but no one actually came over to check how our meal was! Couldn’t even dispute the meal cost as we had to pay for it before we ate via the app! Contacted Pizza Hut customer service and was offered a measly £15 voucher as compensation! Minimum I would have expected is the full value of the meal as vouchers or ideally a full cash refund. Neither was offered, hence this review!

Awful will never go in here again. Dirty tables. Terrible service from staff. Can someone please teach them customer service lessons ASAP.

Went today with my family, we had a gift voucher to use and thought we would treat the children during half term. The children had already decided they wanted the buffet. When we arrived we advised the staff that we had a voucher to use, we got told that a member of staff would came and take our order as we couldn’t use the voucher through the app. This took 15 minutes within this time the children where told that someone would bring some colouring for them to do which they didn’t do, I had to go and ask for it!!!! When someone eventually came to take our order we where asked what pizza’s we would like, the waitress then realised we had the wrong menu’s, this then took her another 5 minutes to try and find the right ones, that they had ran out off!!!! We went through what we all would like, children being children, being a bit indecisive and the waitress huffing and puffing because of them being indecisive, like she was in a hurry. Wasn’t even that busy!!!! Then had to wait another 20 minutes, within this time we got our drinks, which I’d asked for some lemonade in my wine and got told I’ll see what I can do!!!! In a not very happy voice. A few minutes later we also got our salads. We asked for some mayonnaise to came with them and it didn’t. Asked for it and didn’t get it till we got mains. We then received our pizzas, the children where super happy as they was super hungry. The size of the pizzas for an ADULTS buffet is a joke!!!! It was about 6 inches big and the exact same size as the children’s!!!!! Then got asked their and then if we would like another pizza. Of course we ordered some more. We finished what we had and still had to wait a further 10 minutes for more pizza. Didn’t get asked if we wanted anymore salad, garlic bread sticks or pasta which is included in the buffet price. So we only got 1 bowl of salad each and 1 bowl of either garlic bread sticks or pasta with the toppings we wanted. We then made the decision that we weren’t having anymore. I went to a speak to the manager and he said the company have made the decision to only offer 1 bowl of salad per person and either 1 lot of pasta or garlic bread sticks per person. Surely we should of been told this when we ordered our 1st of lot pizza. We weren’t old a thing about this. Their was no windows or doors open even when asked if their was any open we where told yes, but I went to the toilet using the disabled toilet on the ground floor as I’ve hurt my foot and find stairs difficult at the moment and didn’t see any doors or windows opened. We certainly won’t be returning here, maybe to any pizza huts again!!!!!!

Visité para almorzar el viernes pasado con mi pareja ya que teníamos una tarjeta de regalo que debía usarse. Ciertamente, normalmente no elegiría Pizza Hut como lugar para comer, pero estaría dispuesto a darle la oportunidad de usar la tarjeta de regalo. Aconsejó al personal que teníamos una tarjeta de regalo, por lo que nos avisaron para realizar pedidos directamente a través de ellos, ya que no podían usarla en la aplicación. El miembro del personal salió muy nervioso cuando dijo que la tira de la tarjeta no funcionaba, pero que lo volvería a intentar. Habíamos discutido entre nosotros que si no funcionaba optaríamos por un lugar que realmente nos gustara para almorzar. No se dijo nada más y ella trajo nuestras bebidas y comida (una hora y media más tarde) durante nuestro tiempo de espera, pedimos algunas bebidas más en la aplicación que ni siquiera llegó. Los platos principales se describían en el menú como con una ensalada y ni siquiera venían con una. Al salir preguntamos si la tarjeta de regalo de 25 cubría la red o si aún debíamos una pequeña diferencia. Fue en este punto que nos dijeron que no había funcionado ya que tenía una tira defectuosa. Es una pena que no nos hayan dicho esto antes de comer, ya que podríamos haber llevado nuestro negocio a otra parte en lugar de esperar más de una hora por una comida que ni siquiera coincidía con la descripción. Tenía la esperanza de que contradijera mis expectativas, pero de hecho, fue decepcionante.

Visitamos durante las vacaciones. Tuvo que esperar unos minutos para que se reconociera, aunque el restaurante casi vacío. Buen camarero que explicó todo. La comida llegó bien, pero no había ensalada disponible. Sin pan de ajo. Problemas de suministro aparentemente. No habrá más interacción después de eso. Tuve que levantarme y pedir helados para niños y factura. Al no haber estado en una cabaña por un tiempo, sentí que se había vuelto muy costoso y no menos por no obtener el trato completo. ¡No volveré a ir por mucho tiempo!

No estoy seguro si fue el primer día de apertura, pero no fue una visita muy agradable. El personal nos acomodó y nos dejó para ordenar a través de la aplicación de teléfono. (Estoy seguro de que las personas de una generación anterior habrían tenido dificultades) Nos tomó un tiempo hacer ejercicio y nadie intentó aconsejar a pesar de que solo había otra familia en el restaurante: no había instalaciones para café y solo té común. Los niños que estaban con nosotros se pusieron muy inquietos con la larga espera. Muy caro para la comida y el mal servicio. Cuando se entregó la comida, se puso en la mesa contigua y nos dejó para ayudarnos a nosotros mismos; el personal debería haber tenido máscaras puestas para poder trabajar de manera segura y más eficiente.

Came in for a family meal for sister in laws birthday and none of the staff actually knew how to smile. Originally getting our first orders in was very quick and we got our food in good time, however that’s when it went down hill. There was only 3 members of staff, one seemed to disappear and 2 members of staff were busy running to 10/12 full tables after our mains (which we couldn’t fault) we were sat for about 30 minutes till we could get any waiting staff to take our plates and look at desserts. We then had to wait a further 20 minutes just to order our desserts. After placing our order we had to wait a further 30 minutes for 5 puddings. All were lovely accept the 2 cookie doughs which can only be described as cemented to the dish, didn’t realise we had to work for our pudding.We also purchased the refill machine drinks however when trying to select cherry tango or strawberry tango they all came out tasting of Apple so something wasn’t right there. Made sure to ask for our bill half way through eating as we only had 2&1/2 hours for parking. We were in that restaurant for 2 hours which is the longest we’ve ever had to sit for 2 courses. So overall mains were good, service could have done with a smile and certainly more staff, and hopefully not burnt cookie dough next time.

Great place to eat, the food was lovely. One waitress impaticular Bethany F was amazing, she is a lovely friendly young girl, who has great banta and brilliant customer service. Overall lovely evening meal.

I went (with my friend and travelling companion) to Norwich, on Saturday (October 5th), me and my friend, enjoyed playing (with two of my travelling companion's friends) two games of Ten-Pin Bowling, at Hollywood Bowl, after leaving Hollywood Bowl, me and my friend, went in Pizza Hut, I had Fries and a Bottle of Ginger Beer, my friend had Pizza, Salad and Cherry Coke, the staff were very friendly, very good Riverside views, from where me and my friend, were sitting, the first time I have been in Pizza Hut, on Wherry Road, will definitely visit again, enjoyable food and drink.

We turned up at short notice and asked for a table for two, it was windy Friday at around 1310. We were going to the cinema at1400.we were really hungry. At first they refused us a table then changed their mind if we took a table outside. We agreed it wasn't really outside just open at the sides above table height. We ordered twobuffets and it was totally great. The wind was awesome too. Nice people, great food great service. Wemade our movie too

No me puedo quejar de la comida, realmente bueno como siempre. ¡SIN EMBARGO, el personal realmente necesita aprender a sonreír! Llegamos a la hora del almuerzo hace unos días y cuando entramos por la puerta, todos estaban de pie y nos miraban mientras entramos, ¿una cálida bienvenida o qué? ! Teniendo en cuenta que solo había 3/4 otras mesas en (hacia el final de nuestra comida, éramos la única mesa en el restaurante), el servicio de las camareras era horrible y no estaban atentos en absoluto! Nos encontramos sentados haciendo girar nuestros pulgares e intentando llamar la atención de alguien. Parecía que solo una pobre camarera era la que hacía el trabajo.

Decidí venir a almorzar después de Gravity.Decidimos el almuerzo buffet ya que había algunos de nosotros. No había mucha variedad de pizza, algunos pepperoni, 1 jamón y champiñones, 1 jamón y piña, 1 vegetal y 1 otro. No hay muchas opciones para quienes no les gustan los pepperoni o las verduras. Tuve que esperar al menos 20-25 minutos para la pasta fresca que sabía sobre cocido ya que era muy pegajoso. Las salsas sabían insípidas. El bar de ensaladas estaba delicioso. Las bebidas ilimitadas son ideales, si se mantienen llenas. El tango naranja sabía raro, alguien lo mencionó, no estoy seguro de si lo revisaron. Hemos estado en Pizza Huts antes y esto fue mucho peor. No volveremos

Came to buffet, and no food!! No side dishes, very little pizza , brings one thing out at time and everyone rushes up to get it and none left!!! Awful!

Visité este lugar a las 20: 30 esta tarde para encontrarlo cerrado para la capacitación del personal. Particularidad molesta mientras revisaba su sitio web para encontrar que cerraban a las 21:00. Seguramente no es tan difícil actualizar sus horarios de apertura en su sitio web cuando tienen cambios planificados.

Good for what it is. Affordable, tasty, filling food. Always have the buffet when i go as its good value for money! Would recommend for a quick cheap meal.

These places are overpriced for what you get - if I am going to go for a pizza will always go authentic but was rail-roaded due to somebody leaving work. Thank goodness it was subsidised!

Needs a bit updating. Salad bar needed replenishing, pizza was good, staff were friendly. But getting to the bathroom was three flights up.

Popped in here with some friends that wanted to go, normally I don't go much for Pizza Hut, but was pleasantly surprised this time. Ordered the barbecue chicken Pizza which was very good and baked perfectly, I had too much so they offered a takeaway box for me to take home. Beer was a little pricey, salad bar is eat as much as you like and was fresh.

No fizzy drink no juice no explanation of what to do no service not so clean pizza not very good salad not so nice Will we come again not likely

Love this Pizza Hut. Great location and always have space to fit us in! Very clean buffet and salad bar stations which is lovely as the staff are very attentive to make sure everything is perfect. Can’t wait to visit soon.

Place was dirty and the service was terrible. Plenty of staff around but few interested in the customers. Staff were eating products from another fast food retailer in front of customers next to the welcome area

When you arrive at the entrance, it’s quiet inside, there are staff stood around chatting to each other but still you are left to stand for 5 minutes waiting to be seated (and you’ve booked a table in advance) you know it’s going to one of those disappointing trips out - and my gut feel couldn’t have been more on point! It was a waste of time booking ahead as I was then told online bookings don’t show up for them so they had no record of it.

Waited for nearly an hour for our order, which is understandable if they were busy but they weren’t even half full. When food came it was warm at best. The waitress claimed they had run out of spatulas to serve the pizza. Even if restaurant was full (which like I said it wasn’t) not having enough spatulas is inexcusable. The variety in the salad bar was very poor. The table itself was extremely wobbly spilling the drinks.

Poor selection available on the salad bar - no Nachos or breadsticks for kids. Asked for them to be told they had run completely out (4.30pm on a Saturday - Easter weekend). Service slow, restaurant looking like it needed a deep clean. Unimpressed.

The second time I have been there and remembered the waitress from last time. She made me and my son feel so welcome and her manner with my very nervous shy son was excellent. I hope she manages to see this and knows how lovely she made our day out :)

We went here after an hour of trampolining for my daughter’s 9th birthday. We hadn’t booked an official party but we had booked in advance for 11 children and 6 adults.

We only visited because my daughter was confusing it with 'Pizza Express'. Dreadful pizza in grotty surroundings. Not to be repeated.

Atendimento médio mas algo confuso, talvez devido a serem jovens que pretendem dinheiro extra e não a profissionais, mas que o chefe ou responsável de sala deveria ensinar e acompanhar. Escolhi este restaurante porque apreciador da qualidade das pizzas feitas no grupo serem de boa qualidade, mas aqui achei de menor qualidade no produto final. Escolhemos para entrada umas costelas de borrego que são tradição em Inglaterra, mas foram a maior desilusão, pois sentia-se mesmo que vieram do frio e foram rápidas a aquecer no micro-ondas ao que juntaram um molho industrial, dinheiro mal empregue. Apenas se salvavam as pizzas mas nada ao padrão que conheço da marca. Bebidas self-service.

A fantastic location close to cinema and multi-storey car park. We sat in conservatory area, warm and bright. Buffet was great with a good variety of fresh and hot food. The salad bar was nice but I missed the onion and seeds. Waitress service was really friendly and helpful. We would visit again.

I went here with 3 friends for an evening out and a catch up. The restaurant was lovely and beautifully laid out with a great atmosphere. The staff were the most welcoming and friendly people I have ever met. We ordered very large portions which came out very quickly which I was very impressed with and tasted superb, I Can’t wait for our next visit !

Had a meal out with some friends to celebrate my birthday. The staff were very helpful, despite there being confusion...

Came here last Saturday with my partner. Very quiet and had a gloomy atmosphere. The pizza was nice and filling but had to go for a margarita as all the other ones were charging about £17 for a sharing pizza then another £3 for cheesey crust. Too pricey for me, wouldn't return.

Food was good enough staff friendly - however when paying the bill it came to £5 more than we had thought as only ordered one sharing pizza and 2 tap waters - turns out tap water is £2.50 per glass at Pizza Hut - never been so shocked and disappointed. When I questioned this I was told that it was as it was from the self service machine - so all drinks are £2.50(including tap water ?! RIDICULOUS). Would have appreciated knowing this before ordering a drink and would have simply bot had a drink if I knew some water would be costing us £5. Will not be returning to Pizza Hut any time soon..

Have had some poor experiences at chain pizza companies but this has to be the worst of all.Long waits for ordering and then whilst they were cooking the order. We had a ordered three starters two pizzas and a salad. The salad and the drinks came comparatively quickly but I had finished the drink before the starters arrived. The starters two were passable one was horrid. Moving to the pizzas one arrived with the starters and was OK the other arrived and was totally wrong and they had to cook a new one from fresh by the time that this arrived everyone else had finished the lunch. They then gave us the pizza we did not want to take away not helpfulThe replacement pizza was burnt around the edges and overly covered in oil frankly almost inedible We were offered initially the cheaper pizza to be charged to the bill rather than the one we actually ordered but sensing our dissatisfaction the manager came over and announced they would not charge us at all for that pizza or the correct one. Welcome offer but should not have been necessary All in all please don’t bother with this place!

Thee guys need to sharpen their act up and stop relying on the name. Really greasy pizza, too much cheese and oily too. Didn't enjoy this visit and won't be back.

Sat people way to close together when the place was empty. Pizza was gross and so greasy. Salad bar disappointing & the pizza was replaced way to slow when it was gone. Will not be returning.

My husband I went here last weekend as he fancied their salad. I used to like Pizza Hut's potato salad so was happy to oblige. The potato salad was rank, the potatoes were so small it was like mash potato with mayo, blah! The rest of the salad wasn't much better and the pizza was tasteless. The prices however have increased but the standard has dropped. The final straw was when I went to the toilet to see a waitress leaving a cubicle and not washing here hands before going back to the floor to work. This will be our last visit to Pizza Hut, I would suggest you go into the city and eat at a cheaper and superior pizza restaurant!

we visited this restaurant on Wednesday 5th April 2017. We had just been to the cinema with our kids and as a treat we thought we would take them to Pizza Hut for the buffet lunch. Upon arrival we where greeted by a young female server who seemed hesitant and unsure of how to deal with a family. We where then abandoned at a table, and we waited over 20 minutes for a member of staff to come and see to us. We eventually decided to help ourselves fearing that time was ticking on and the children where starting to complain upon arriving at the buffet we looked for kid friendly pizzas but there was none, everything had a form of chili on it. There was also quite a few people waiting for some non spicy pizzas. It was around 20-30 minutes before any where put out. By this stage we had filled the kids up on Pasta. Which was not our intention and not really value for money. We where also not happy that there wasn't anything that we would eat, not everyone likes spicy food all the time! Upon leaving we finally managed to attract the attention of a waitress in order to get our bill, she admitted that she guessed what should be on the bill. The bill was correct. But that's not the point. Having given the company adequate time to respond to my complaint, which they have not even acknowledged, nor the many followups made, I am now letting everyone know about our experience.

Where to start. This was bad even for a pizza hut. We sat outside but it was pretty filthy, there were empty glasses on the surfaces all around our table and cobwebs like something out of the Lord of the Rings.We ordered some beers which came with iced glasses, which was good on a hot day. We then got our tepid main courses of pizzas, but had to enquire about the starters which they had forgotten about.Then we asked for mayonnaise. Well apparently in 2017 it's possible for a pizza restaurant to entirely run out of mayonnaise - the waitress didn't offer to get it herself, but just said 'there might be some on the salad bar'. Nice customer service.It was a very quiet Saturday night but the staff just appeared a bit clueless.Lesson learned. Don't bother with this one.

Went here with a group of 5, food took quite a while to come out. When my pizza arrived it was missing rocket (I ordered heavenly veg) and had a different crust to what I ordered but I was so hungry I ate it regardless. It was quite quiet for a Friday night and the service was quick.

Situated in the modern Riverside development near Norwich station, we had a couple of nice pizzas which were quite promptly served. We also enjoyed the included salad bar.No complaints at all really.

Visted today after arriving Norwich beer was nice and cold food come quick and plenty of people checking to see ok food hot drink service in ice glass and food sort on first class service

BTW- toilets are greatGreat service since we sat down. Tasty food and a very well done up restaurant for tourists. Go after using the nearby odeon. Recommend for families who like American diners!

Was nice food but my god we had 2 mini pizzas and 2 cokes and payed £46! So I wouldn't say go there if your not willing to pay lots. Nice view of the river though if you can get one of the tables to see it :)

Booked table for 5 o'clock and not that busy Ordered drinks and pizzas. I had the flatbread chicken delight which was served on a slate. It was luke warm and I believe this was due to the slate. If this had been heated up I don't think this would have been the case. Two of my party had a dessert which was one of their cookie dough dishes. Well it took for ages. I had not been to a Puzza Hut for quite a few years and it will probably be another few years before I do so!

Lady asked what we wanted to order, placed my order I asked "how many slices does a sharing pizza have?" She replies "I don't know." Any normal person would go and ask another staff member. She doesn't hesitate to ask to I just said don't worry then. Once we have eaten our meal which were lovely, lady comes over again and goes would you like your bill?... I replied no I think we wanted deserts. She didn't think to ask us for any more drinks or deserts. At this point after taking our desert order doesn't clear table. Desserts come and she clears them while we eat our deserts. Shocking service, I love pizza Hut because of the food but the service was very bad.

Went to pizza hut. Had used their restaurants loads of times and loved it, but today was terrible. First my sister drink came wrong then we waited over half an hour for our starters!!!!.... eventually our mains came...but with no sides, they had done them wrong too!!! So they had to cook them which meant we couldn't have them with hot pizzas.They did offer to give them to us free but by the time they were cooked we had finished our pizzas!...but the worst was that when our food did arrive my sisters pizza had an HAIR on it!!!!!!....soooo yuck Never again, put of forever!

This is crap!!Me and my friend had been waiting at the entrance of pizza hut and ignored for 15 mins to be seated, when there were plenty of empty tables. We have proceeded to wait at our table for further 30 mins to be served and will probably wait bloody eternity for our food!!!! We are HANGRYYYY

Enjoyed various meals here. The service has definitely improved over recent years so don't be put off be old reviews. Certainly worth a try for the cheaper Italian meal

There was a group of 8 of us who attended on a wet and windy Wednesday evening. The restaurant was pretty quiet and we took our pre-booked table.We decided to share a selection of Pizza and ordered 4. We then also had drinks which arrived promptly and went and filled up on the free salad, which was plentiful,, fresh and tasty. A server came and set out the pizza table holders and then about 10 minutes later our pizza finally arrived. We began tucking in and noticed immediately that the pizzas were only lukewarm.Contemplating doing the 'British' thing and just getting on with it, the Mrs decided on a firmer course of action and went to look for the duty manager. She explained the pizza temperature situation and the duty manager came over and offered to replace all of our pizzas with new fresh ones as well as half pricing the bill. We asked for only a couple to be replaced, these arrived some 10 minutes later and were sizzling hot.We paid the reduced bill and went on our way.So although the first set of pizzas were not great due to the temperature of them, the good customer service the duty manager gave us saved the meal!

food was good and the service was good with lovely views from the windows, will definitely visit again.

we have two children which we used to take to the Pizza Hut when they were young because of the Kids menu and crayons etc : when they got older we never bothered about the Pizza Hut because which found quite bland tasting food, my son who is now 14 went for a friend's birthday meal and really enjoyed it so much so he persuaded me to go with him next time so I did go to the Pizza Hut in Riverside Norwich, and to my surprise excellent décor service and the food was great tasting free salad bar option, they had to do something about there name to keep up with other Pizza places and they certainly have down and will have no hesitance ingoing back, soft drink machine brilliant choices for £2.70 (as many as you like) and a bottle of lager served in an iced glass, that to me put the icing on the cake !

A group of 10 and I went to Pizza Hut . I ordered a ham and pineapple pizza 2 other members heat chicken "n" chips and was delayed by 10 mins my pizza was delayed by 20 mins so over all a very bad trip. Although we got 10%of the bill.Also the gents toilets were unhygienic due to urine all over the floor

The pizzas were nice and reasonably priced. They also do student discounts of 20% which was very nice. Nothing much to complain about- the restaurant was almost empty but we were in there at 3pm on a weekday so I'm not sure if it is more livelier in the evenings. Service was a little slow considering how empty it was.

Came in for the buffet, been to the other Pizza Hut but defiantly prefer this one more spacious, staff was nice and welcoming, all the pizza was amazing especially the BBQ pizza. The on bad part about the restaurant is that the toilet is on 3rd floor, and as having a bad leg was quite a lot of effort but they do have a toilet down stairs for disabled and baby changing, salad bar was all filled nicely and fresh would defiantly come back just for the old school music playing

Came in on a Saturday night, had to stand in the doorway for a while until someone came over to show me and my partner to a table. The waitress looking after us was very friendly and I couldn't fault her at all. The drinks arrived quickly but the food arrived after half an hour of sitting down. Didn't mind this too much as I was in deep conversation with my partner. When the pizza did finally arrive it was almost perfect, the down side being that it was a little too cold so when you got to the last few pieces on the plate they were almost stone cold. Wouldn't mind eating here again though.

Went there after cinema at 7.30 told would be 40 minute wait, as not in hurry decided to stay,,,, bad move!Shown to table which was wobbly and had to mend it! given menus and "meal deal" decided to go for meal deal and ordered drinks,,,, then told not all drinks available so had to change order.Ordered starters and three out of four arrived,,,, waitress asked what fourth order was and went to till to reorder! Finished starters, nobody came to clear these away,,,, waitress was more interested in getting till area cleared up.After half an hour asked where mains were as had seen other diners who had arrived after us served. Eventually at 9.10 out came four pizzas that were cold as apparently they had been left in the lift!Decided enough was enough and left, we had bill cancelled and was given a voucher for them to "try to put it right" hopefully my next review will be better as can't be any worse

I have just returned from your restaurant at the Riverside complex in Norwich where I met up with my family for a nice meal. The restaurant choice was mine as I felt like something "normal" rather than the abundance of other choices in the vicinity, a choice that myself and the 3 family members have now come to deeply regret.My mother and father in law arrived first and secured us a table (ominously easy for a Saturday night). My partner arrived next and they ordered for us all whilst I parked the car. I arrived around 10 mins later as it took us 25 mins to park in the end (an indication as to how busy the complex is tonight). Around 5 mins after I arrived 2 out of the 3 starters were served and when we asked where the 3rd was, the waitress apologised, went to check and said it would be just a couple of minutes and let us know they were having a bit of a nightmare in the kitchen tonight.The starters finished, we waited patiently for our mains, and as time went on , subtly moved our plates all together and close to the edge of the table as a hint that we were ready to continue.After approx 20 mins, we called someone over and asked if we could have our mains yet as there were 2 other tables being served theirs having come into the restaurant after we had finished our starters.The waiter went to find out where they were and we were once again informed, they're on their way.A couple of minutes later, a waitress said they were just coming round the corner, and lol and behold, they appeared.Upon first bite, they were cold and, losing patience, my father in law went to find someone to inform of this.He told us he found them in the lift and the plates/boards were hot so assumed they were ok, which of course, they set not.The result of this is that we walked out of the restaurant, leaving the original waitress tipless (having spent years working in restaurants and bars, I have always made a point of leaving a tip in all but the most extreme of circumstances) and my family and I informing everyone we know of the poor experience we have just had.What is even more unacceptable is that, judging by the number of empty tables and the lack of a queue of people waiting to be seated, this is a particularly quiet Saturday night and if the kitchen is unable to cope at this level, it would be a disaster of epic proportions on a normal or busy Saturday night when the afore mentioned queues of people (missing this evening) are present.

From the minute we entered we were approached by the most miserable waitress ever . So , we sat down I went to the toilets and WOW. They were something else , absolutely DISGUSTING , all of them . I picked what I thought was the cleanest , and the door wouldn't lock . I thought right , got my family , told the waitress what I thought of the toilets, and that service with a smile ( on my sons birthday) would of been nice . We went up the rd , had a lovely dinner . Got told other people were not happy with that Pizza Hut . staff there were tipped generously .

Took my girls here, the service was a little slow but good. The food was good as normal as you can expect. My only criticism would be it could have been a bit cleaner and please get rid of all the cobwebs outside *shudders

We ordered 2 pizzas and after more than 1.5hrs waiting we called them to check what takes so long and we got reassured by a man who was clearly rushing off his feet that our pizzas were on the way. (he told us not to worry and literally hang up on us) When it finally arrived I could not believe what I saw. How could anybody think that those pizzas are acceptable for delivery. Please see pictures.!! The first one was burnt and they were both cold so we called them and they offered to replace it. Had to wait for another hour or so but the main shock came with the second delivery when there was a slice missing from the box!?! At the end we just called the head office to complain as we lost our faith and were not sure if it was safe to eat anymore. Got a full refund but unfortunately those pictures stayed with us. Shame on you Pizza Hut.!

We were led to our table promptly by a scruffy but pleasant lad but sadly here is where the story ends.We have been sitting in our "booth" (the table is filthy and sticky) for nearly 20 minutes. There are two adolescent waitresses milling about, who occasionally break from chatting to one another to pick up dirty plates from other tables but neither one of them has acknowledged our presence so we are leaving.I think the lad who showed us to our table said "Ellie will be looking after you." I think Ellie, whoever she is, would benefit from some further training.

First the praise. The food was fine as was the service relating to the food. Now the main grumble! We visited on what was a warm evening in Norwich and both wore short sleeved tops. However, the temperature inside the restaurant was noticeably cooler than outside. We asked three times if the aircon could be adjusted but no one returned to confirm whether it had or not (it hadn't!!). It was like a fridge. Another (lesser) grumble. Piped Muzak was playing during the first part of our visit. Felt like a 70's supermarket! Then some recognisable sounds (Radiohead, Bowie, Queen, etc) before the Christmas songs made an appearance! Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer......in August!! Really.

Second time we've eaten here....doesn't seem to have got any better. The pizzas took ages to come and were overcooked and dried out. They don't put enough tomato sauce on here...compared to longwater pizza hut, for example. Salad bar needed tidying up.Waitress was friendly, and apologised a lot but nothing was her fault. She was also helpful about food intolerance information. Gluten free pizza base was horrid.

I was expecting a takeaway pizza.But no,we sat down to eat!The place was empty,but we were ushered to a table next to a posh looking couple.They seemed to be making a night of it,well dressed,with a bottle of wine,pizza and chips.The service was great,but you can't really varnish the fact that this is a bit of bread,with ketchup and cheese,with some sausage bits thrown on top of it.With chips.I didn't take eating seriously and just played with the food with my cheap,thin cutlery.An hour later,it was time to go home,where I feasted on cheese on toast.

Had the buffet with my son. We tried many different flavours of pizza, with some better than others. However, we found a few pizza slices to be over cooked. We really enjoyed the shakes, both of us ordering the banana: thick, creamy and very delicious. Overall, nice venue, friendly staff and good value for money.

Don't bother. I went in seeing it wasn't busy and wanted food in a reasonably quick time and was told 40 mins. Go to one of the many other restaurants in the area. Prezzo is just on the main road.

I have fond memories of going to pizza hut as a young boy and I cant honestly say why. Things have changed for pizza hut and its not for the best.The staff were one of the very few plusses about the experience, very friendly and attentive and the only reason I can't give 1/0 stars. The food is rubbish, the salad bar whilst being a decent idea in theory has issues that are too many to be able to list but amongst them are the overpowering artificial tasting coleslaw and pasta dishes, tired looking and inconsistently cut lettuce and cucumber and the most unappetising cous cous I have ever seen.The Pizza was slightly burned and really lacking in any taste. There was a coating of semolina (?) flour to the underside of the base of my margarita pizza which is a bit weird. It was served on a black slate instead of a plate which isn't really to my taste. In summary, I would rather eat at Morrisons than pizza hut and that is really saying something!

Me and my mum popped in for a meal on Saturday.. Now we appreciated that because of a certain concert that night there would be a delay however... There was over 10 empty tables at least! When we finally sat down we was ignored for ages we was two hours!! All we ordered was two refillable pepsi's and was told to fill them up ourselves given empty glasses and a small individual pizza (which arrived on our table cold)! 2 hours! When we mentioned something we just got told that they were short staffed... The restaurant was a mess from dirty tables, food on floor I.e kids ice cream, smashed glass on the floor and I won't ever go there with the toilets!! This really has put us off pizza huts!!

Came here on a Friday night and norwich were playing at home so everywhere wad packed. Pizza Hut wasn't our first choice to eat but we were so glad we chose here in the end. We went for the sharer pizza and what great value for money! I'm vegetarian and my partner loves meat and we were able to get half and half which is lovely. The sides we got were the perfect t portion size and the drinks were competitively priced for the norwich area. The first table we were sat on wasn't quite where we wanted to sit. We needed more space and after requesting this there was no problem at all in changing table. The food came out quickly although they were busy at the time we ordered which was good. There were enough staff on the floor and they seemed to be productive and not standing round and chatting like you see in some places. Would definitely go here again and I'd recommend in the future. The managers are doing a great job. One thing that I would say is it would be good to have name badges for the staff members. But that's my only fault.
