Good pizza, well for the UK atleast, it's not Italian pizza but it's very good when looking at UK pizza

Disgusting location. Took payment 3 times for a pizza I didn't even get. Clearly website technical issues. I called up to get help. He couldn't even understand anything I was saying. I explained multiple times I've been charged 3 times and the pizza hasn't even gone through. He kept saying £3 for a pizza? So I asked if I could please speak to someone else. I got a manager who got very annoyed with me, shouted "what do you want me to do about it" ? Disgraceful. He acted like he was the aggrieved in this situation. I called a few days after and got Darren who is always polite and can understand me. He said he can't help and to get a refund from my bank. I called my bank and they said they can't do anything until 15 works days have passed. I don't believe that Papa John's couldn't have helped me get a refund. If I was rude and impolite I could understand the reluctance to help me but I was understanding and polite. I'm now annoyed as I've been charged near £60 for a pizza I didn't receive and have to wait weeks to even get my money back. Most can't go without that amount of money in the current climate. And I find it awful they just don't care about their customers or circumstances. I've been a customer for years, I don't feel valued and won't order again.

Didn’t deliver to correct entrance, overall enjoyment of food = poor

Order often. Delivery guys always friendly and the staff inside very polite and helpful. Even gave us free garlic stuffed crust to try.

I just purchased a Large pizza from here for £9.99. The gentleman who served me was extremely polite and even delivered the pizza to my office a few doors down the street! We need more people and pizzas like this in the world! (The pizza was amazing)

The food always arrives hot and is always delicious as well. Staff are friendly and the delivery time is amazing! Always seems to come about 10-15 mins after ordering. I definitely recommend this place!

Ordered a large double pepperoni and a large meat feast. This was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time. Cooked to perfection with great flavours. Great customer service and definitely will be going back here

The order was over an hour late, it was all cold and had to re-heat. Such a shame as we enjoy papa’s but will not re order from them again. Disappointing.

Food arrived 30mins late and had to contact the restaurant to find out what was happening, was told food was just out of the oven even though was 15mins after the delivery time. There were no updates about delays during the wait.

Papa John's has really changed in the last few years and not for the better. I can't say whether it's this Papa John's or the chain as a whole but the pizzas are just flat and unflavorsome. The dough has really changed and completely different to what it used to be. Me and my wife just had two pizzas and both mid way through eating them agreed it wasn't the same and was awful. So sad Papa John's used to be a real treat and now it's average at best.

If you picked the 6 pieces of spicy beef off the pizza, it would be a good vegetarian choice

Ordered online, love these pizzas, all dishes have tried would highly recommend, better than domino's, hot, fresh.

My Granddaughter had the Pizza, wow, what a price. ! Buffalo wings 🤔 chicken Poppers 🤔 Never again. Cost too much, for ok food. 🤔

While the food was delivered quickly. I've never had a more tasteless meal in my life. Tater tots with bacon were mushy and bland as was the Mushroom Papadia. The young lady who delivered it was cheerful and friendly.

So expensive for what wasn't really that much better than anyone else. Even with a discount. Each to their own bit nothing special and the garlic dip was horrendous.

This was my first time ordering from here it was really nice the food was perfect and tasted so good and was really hot which was really nice I loved the special garlic dip it tasted amazing just like the pizza and the chocolate cookies and the Ben and Jerry’s ice cream to I was amazed by this order and really happy I got a 20% discount for a first order which isn’t bad yeah boi I definitely will order from here in the future thank you papa johns much appreciated 😀👍🏻

Papa John's were happy to take my money, sent me a text an hour previously to say food was on its way but it was never delivered and when calling to get a progress update at 11.45pm then found out the shop shuts at 11pm so my order should not have taken. Will not order again.

Size of dip needs improving for price you pay. The rest of the food is good.

Cold pizza half the time, manager does not care and has a terrible attitude. Won't be using again, told manager who put the phone down. Shop looked grubby when I picked a pizza up last time. Manager said the pizza had come straight from the oven to my house when the app tracker said delivered 30 mins before it turned up....no wonder it was cold.

After my last order ho was on 30/9/22 never buy from here .......me and my family 2 adults and 2 children we make food poison and after almost 1 week we still try to recover 🤬😡🤬😡 I know for sure that they use at least expired dough time to time but this time it use more then expired dough 🤢🤮🤢🤮🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮🤮

The delivery driver threw our pizzas on our door mat, knocked and walked away. I said to my partner that I'm pretty sure they have just been thrown down and we checked our CCTV and we watched him throw them on the floor. Absolutely disgusting!!

Sorry to say the pizza cooked without care. We had no more than 10 pieces of pepperoni. Even then not even dispursed. For some reason pineapple was added. This made an already poor effort worse. Jalapeño pieces also not even. Some slices had 10 pieces, some 1, some none. Toppings did not reach the edge. I threw the pizza out after attempting to eat some of it. Pizza express next Time !

Placed an order through their website, never received confirmation, but it did pop up with the tracker, that didn't work. Called the restaurant to find out what's going on, told they had issues? Why wasn't that disabled on the website then...anyways couldn't refund me as I didn't have an order number as I never received an email confirmation.

The staff where friendly, how ever not very professional. Not sure they where great at hygiene either. But the food tasted good I still think papa John's is the best pizza.

Pizza was like an accordion, all smashed up and mangled. Cheesy garlic sticks came intact, but there was no cheese on all th outside pieces. Not very much meat on the meat feast at all! £35.00 of disappointment!

I paid for my pizza and waited for one hour then they cancelled my order…that’s just messed up tbh. I’ve waited one hour for nothing!

I gave the food one star, and delivery one star but as we didn't actually get our order I would have scored them zero but that's not an option. The restaurant itself were very apologetic but by thus time I just wanted my money back.

Great quality pizza, very similar to Domino's but far cheaper! Will definitely choose over Domino's based on the price difference

I think Papa John's pizza is the worst. Tried it twice in Lowestoft. Thought maybe it was just that branch that was dry and horrible so tried it in Norwich too. But it was yukky there too. Both their dairy and vegan pizzas are flavourless, dry, and disgusting. Won't ever be getting a pizza from there or any Papa John's again and will never recommend.

All good although unfortunately the dips we ordered were missing from delivery.

Great service. I've ordered from this place more then 5 times now, and not once have I had a problem with my order. Always delivered on time, never cold, nothing ever missing from my order, food always tastes good... no complaints from me!

Not had a papa John's before and was very impressed. Arrived early and was pipping hot. Very tasty, we was well impressed.

Delivery was brilliant , called on arrival to prevent young children being woken up by door bell . Food was perfect

Very poor ,the pizza cost £26 and for that you would think it was going to be good,hardly any toppings on it and it was mainly crust,will not be using again.

Nothing I actually ordered turned up It’s like I got someone else’s order and of course they had closed 45 mins before so couldn’t change it, couldn’t even send it back because the driver left it on the the door step and left.

Food was terribly cooked, has made me severely ill and need to be with arms length of the bathroom. Also to mention Alex may need some customer service training as he speaks to people like s***. If I weren’t tucked up in bed I’d of made a trip to the store to tell him about himself

If I could give no stars then I would. 3hrs later my pizza arrived cold, and with the drink missing. Twice I had called and spoke to the rudest person I've ever spoken to, to be told that it was then coming out of the oven. My husband was then about to go up there after calling and again being spoken to rudely. The delivery driver finally turned up. He was the only good thing about the experience as he was very apologetic (he was actually from a different store) and was just as shocked at the service we had received. He told us to check our food while he was there with us, which of course was cold and the drink was missing. Will never be ordering from Papa Johns again due to this experience. The lad that works here needs some serious customer service training. Appalling.

Delivery on time but seem to be a little on the small side to be a large pizza was not the best lve had from papa John's wouldn't order again as other pizza companies are offering 2 for one at the same price will let you do the home work

Ordered 2 x Medium pizza's, 2 sides at 6pm last night. Viewed the online tracker at 6.29pm, it said pizza's were out of the oven and being checked. 1 Hour later, no Pizza's & no update on the site. 7.31pm I got a call from a delivery driver saying he was sorry to be so late. He had just picked up our food and would be arrive with us in 5 minutes. I didn't expect to receive food that had been sitting cooked for an hour. Thats exactly what happened & what we were delivered. £25 for stone cold pizza. According to Papa johns I should have called back and complained and asked for replacements. We had guests round and didn't want to wait another 90 minutes for pizzas ( We would have been Eating at 10pm) I'm writing this as a warning to any other customers who are waiting for ages, it might be worth calling the store and checking where food is and making sure you are not going to get stone cold pizza thats been sitting for an hour waiting on a driver. I ended up putting them into the oven at home for 30 mins, they done the job, but not very nice

We ordered the pizza this afternoon and collected in person. The pizza did not taste at all and was smelling oil. We went back to the shop and told the guy at reception , he was so rude , told us i can not refund as i made the fresh pizza. He did not even say sorry once......... I asked to smell/check it but refused by him. Dough was off and not fresh or something wrong... I throw the pizza outside in the bin. Bad customer services.... Would never buy and recommend the pizza from Papa John.....

Food was lukewarm, portions poor and the potatoes side order tasted horrible. Only ate a few and left them. Poor hygiene too - the box with the pizza was left on the floor. It should have been left in a bag which I could have immediately disposed off. Won't be ordering from them again.

Ordered our food. What we received was not only cold but our desert, dips and sides were all incorrect. When I phoned them to ask what was the best way to correct it, I was told by their staff member Alex (rude and possibly the worst customer service I've ever received) "were busy and ran out of the stuff you ordered, so we sent what we had. We didn't ring you to let you know as we're busy and you have to have what we have given you"

I know there is this COVID-19 business going on and places are shut but over an hour is still unacceptable delivery time! Food was utterly lukewarm at best and was disgusting. Wife ended up cooking angry and frustrating!

Pizza’s were great but over 20mins late of given delivery time. I appreciate the del8very time was estimated and happy for 10-15mins, but an update should have been provided once the delay was over 20mins

I stopped using Papa Johns for years because of the other Norwich Colman Road branch, with their consistant awful customer service and the worst possible pizzas ever. But a few months back I decided to give Plumstead Road a chance and I am pleased I did. After 4 or 5 orders I am pleased to say I experienced great customer service, timely deliveries and perfectly cooked pizza! All PJ needs to work on now is their terrible mobile app. I appreciate that's beyond the control of the branch however.
