We ordered several XXL pizzas and they were ready in less than 30 minutes. The staff was great and let us customize each one even though the coupon said we couldn’t. The food was delicious and not a slice was left. The establishment was very clean when we arrived and we were quickly greeted and provided our order!

First time I’ve ordered from Papa John’s , I Wiil definitely order from them again. Pizza was well worth the wait. Thank you

Ordered PJs for delivery a couple months ago, waited ages, called, got told it was on the way and hung up on before we could ask how long and then it arrived cold another 30 or so minutes after that call. Long story short, complained to HQ and received a voucher. We did it for collection in the hopes the service would be better and to give the benefit of the doubt. My partner has a dairy allergy so we ordered a vegan pizza. As we waited in store we saw them finish up the order. My partner said he thought he saw the guy cut a normal pizza then use the same tool for the vegan one. I said that it must have been a vegan pizza before as surely they wouldn’t mix dairy tools with non dairy? Nope, we shared the pizza and my partner since then has been ill, so seems there was cross contamination from a dairy pizza to a vegan one. Not only is the service poor consistently, it’s actually dangerous to eat here if you have any allergy’s or intolerances. Just don’t bother at all. Dominoes is a few doors down, they may be worth the try instead.

time given was 18.40 to 19.00. it arrived at 19.30. had to call the restaurant for an update. pizza was just about warm when arrived.

Ordered my food and it was late by 45 minutes so I called papa John’s and they said they hadn’t even sent it out yet so by the time I got my food it was lukewarm and soggy

The food was really good but, I did not received the whole order for which o paid for. So I ordered the Ultimate saver in which goes any large pizza and 2 sides , but I got just 1 side. I had ordered Hawaiian large pizza cheesy jalapeño bites and potato tots, so the last one I didn't get it. I can send you the pictures of my receipt and and of what I had received only. So please guys cam you return me money for what I did not received. Thank you in advance ☺️

I placed an over at 11.08 and yet I haven't received the food Called to papa john at 11.24 because when checked online the track the order it showed like it's been delivered but, the person in shop said its in the oven. It's going to be an hour I haven't received the food and the money has been taken from the account. Called again but no response. It's so bad to do this kind of things people order food when they are hungry. Stop cheating the customers. It's a shame

Food arrived 35 minutes after the app said it did, man was extremely rude on the phone when we went to check where it was, garlic bread was rock solid, cold and inedible, pizza was cold and tasted okay, not good and halloumi dippers were also rock solid and cold

If you go in-store and are served by the young (Pakistani I believe) lady she is very helpful and friendly. I cannot speak for all of the staff though. Seems a lot of people have issues when ordering for deliveries.

Driver refused to walk up stairs to deliver then drove off with food. Demanded refund and was told have to go through head office. Terrible service. Just avoid this chain!!!

Food was delivered over half an hour late and when ringing the first time was told it was out for delivery. On ringing the second time was told the delivery driver was about to leave. Food that was delivered was cold and appeared under cooked.

I ordered from here via Uber eats...and I'm still waiting for my pizza. Spent £73 I want a refund. *Update* Still no refund.

Worst experience. I ordered at 23:31 after more than 1 hour 30 minutes and multiple calls where they lied saying that the pizza was already with delivery and in the last call they even said the delivery is outside. Tired of their lies I requested my money back. First they didn't want to accept my request because they said I had to talk with uber eats. Clearly they don't have any idea of their orders becauses I ordered through the online Web page. Then they said write to the online wenpage of papa John's, but it clearly said in the email confirmation of the order that any problem you should call the branch. Finally they said okey we will refund you, at 5 am your money will be back because we don't refund at nights. Is already noon and my money is not in my account. They are acting like scamers. If you don't want to lose your money don't order here NEVER.

Food never turned up! Made several orders in the past with no issues. Phoned the establishment and received a frosty response telling me another 15 minutes.

The service is pathetic. Especially the Colman road branch, thanks to the pakistani immigrant lot that papa johns employs, without checking if they're fit for the job. You can hear them make fun of calls in the back. Easily understandable if you speak their language. Do not order if you value your time.

Ordered at 5:50 - driver calls at 6:30 to say he was outside but wasn’t - went to wrong road - phoned and I kept saying he was at the wrong road and told him where I was - 7:10 the cold pizza turns up - had contacted the shop and they where making it fresh and getting there own driver to come deliver - arrived at 7:50. Staff at the shop were brilliant and very apologetic and 2nd delivery driver was quick and polite.

Staff is very rude. Failed to deliver and claim that food was left 'outside'. It's not possible as my building have a doorpad that's really easy to contact me. He didn't even suggest a resolution. Had to get off the phone and raise a complaint

Ordered food at 2am, said on the app that the food was being cooked for over an hour, I then called the store multiple times and received no answer. The food never turned up, I then called in the morning and was told there was nothing they can do about it and refused to provide a refund

Great delivery, well communicated considering had to find me as new build not listed. Very polite. Wish just eat had a tip option for their drivers, as 100% would. Who carries money anymore? delivered on time and piping hot pizza as always with Papa Johns. Also had the tater tots(recommend the special garlic sauce) and the chicken poppers(recommend the buffalo sauce).

After almost 2 hours our food arrived cold. I called the location twice to receive dismissive remarks about it. 1st time, when it had been in the checking and cutting stage for 45 minutes and he said it was actually in the oven, and the 2nd time when it had been marked delivered for 20 minutes and he said that it would be with us in minutes. 20 minutes later it arrived and the delivery driver blamed it on it being busy, at 1am to 3.30am, which I find very doubtful. All this only to have my chicken poppers arrive cold. I'm definitely making a complaint to corporate about this, but I'm hoping that all these 1 star reviews helps someone save their time and money on such a mediocre meal.

Colman Road store Always get something on the order wrong and they NEVER answer the phone!!! Been trying to phone them now for 1.5 hours and nobody answering

Food: I ordered a large half-half pizza and two sides, namely chicken poppers and piri piri chicken poppers. Surprisingly, both sides looked identical and had a similar taste. The piri piri chicken poppers lacked the expected flavor, leading me to believe that there might have been a mistake in providing duplicate sides. The pizza disappointed as it was not only tasteless but also extremely thin, making it challenging to separate slices. Service: I rated the service 3 stars because the delivery was prompt and on time. Despite these issues, when I contacted the outlet to share my feedback on the pizza's quality and the problem with the chicken poppers, it appeared that they were indifferent and uninterested in addressing any feedback. It seems they are already aware of the issues but are not taking steps to resolve them.

Turned up late, and was missing two pots of dip I paid for. Driver didn't seem to care at all.

I've ordered a pizza after midnight, it was supposed to arrive by 1.40am, waited till like 1.55am , called the shop and the guy says that he just started to Cook the pizza 😡 . I was like, seriously?? After one hour you barely start cooking,one pizza? Anyway, waited till like 2.35 am and then called again, the guy on the phone says that the driver it's on his way,should be there any minute. Waited till 2.45 and then eventually I got.the call from the driver who was asking me, at nearly 3 am.in the morning to come outside and collect the pizza myself!! Outrageous 😡. These people should not even own a shop,rude, bad service. And by the way, the pizza was half warm, almost tasteless. I'll never order again from here!!

Ordered my food then I wasn’t getting any updates, so there was a papa johns technical issue. So I phoned up the shop to see if my order had gone through and it had so I thought perfect won’t be long as they said it’s being made. That was clearly a lie. 2 hours later my food arrived freezing cold. Caused the cheese to solidify on the pizza wasn’t really edible. The sides are nice tasting but again so cold it just wasn’t nice to eat. Maybe it’s not the shops fault it’s delivery but for first time having papa johns it wasn’t a very enjoyable experience.

Pizza was delayed by over an hour. Claimed they delivered the pizza when they didn’t. The person at the shop made excuses regarding the whereabouts of the food to stall. Took nearly two hours to wait for a cold pizza. The quality of food has declined, their pizza is not the same as it used to be.

Did not put an allergy warning on their stuff crust. But have switched to using low fat cheese in their stuffed crust which uses increased milk powered which is a common allergen. Dangerous and irresponsible.

Originally had an issue with the first pizza and had to return, gentleman behind the counter was lovely and made me a fresh one there and then, no attitude, no problems, just proper customer service with a smile. Can't fault the workers here they're a lovely bunch. Many thanks for being understanding and so generous in righting the errors with the initial pizza. A* service

Head office not prepared to issue refund, Colman Road Norwich store not prepared to issue refund. Disgraceful customer service. Currently going through Resolver but hold little hope. Wednesday 25.10.23 update: After a number of emails, and misinformation, I was able to highlight that Papa Johns had offered that they had got this completely wrong in an email correspondence, and make the case for a refund, which I received today. I am pleased that I received a full refund, but I would have expected far better service from this company and won't be returning.

Food was eventually delivered tepid

Branch staff (and possibly their friends) were heard talking and giggling in the background making fun of customers in their local lingo which I speak. Papa Johns needs to look into this and ensure that they're hiring responsible staff and not irresponsible mismanaged international blokes. This is not the first instance that an order from this branch is late.

Delivery should have been between 12.35 and 12.55. we rang them at 12:56 to be told it’s now going in the oven and they’ll “try get it to me soon” didn’t turn up til 1:15/1:20am. Cheese pizza was cold and so was the chicken gourjons and chocolate cookie. Very disappointed have requested a refund and won’t be ordering from here again

First time I had a Papa Johns in years, and as usual, the pizza is really tasty unlike some other major chain brands. Was able to get a large pizza for a tenner as I collected in person rather than having it delivered. Would recommended the thin crust - I enjoy this more than the standard crust. And unlike some other places, didn’t see a “card only” sign.

Was waiting 1 hour for order to arrive. They forgot to put drink, delivery driver promised to come back and bring drink. Pizza was cold, dough was chewish like a rubber. Was calling to the restuarant to ask where is my drink, person who I was talking to was unpleasant and to my question answered in rude form, that driver on its way. Well I dint saw my drink at all. First experience is questionable. Never gonna order from any Papa Johns restaurant ever again. Avoid this place. P.S. Pizza Hut is better
