Honestly the worst experience I've ever had Staff need training no customer service Since the new manager this place has gone downhill

Great stop for dinner for a family, especially the children’s meal deal, pizza, salads and desserts all tasted as expected with great service.

I booked a table for eat in at this location a few days ago, your website sent good reminders. However, when getting to this place you are met with a Shouting "Server" who has told us you can only pay using CARD!!! but there are no signs anywhere and why you cannot pay cash as this is still legal tender in this country. Then she was abusive towards another couple who had trouble in using an APP on a phone to order - not everyone is 20 and can use these silly things. The "Manager" came along and wanted us to wait for a table to come free - looking into the Hut it was empty except for 2-3 other couples. Plenty of space so I do not know what that was about. (we booked for 12 and there was no table? - why book then) Then we got the We are short staffed - well if that is the case find some staff or close - why is that my problem. This "Manager" was clearly under duress and unable to cope with this situation. I do not want to pay your prices and get shouted at, told all the problems of the Hut nor be met by dirty unkempt staff. We however to avoid the spit on the food extras left along with several other couples who just did not want to witness this kind of abusive behavior. You need to have a code of business conduct that includes "do not abuse the hand that feeds you" I and all my family members will not be visiting a Pizza Hut again because of this encounter. - I will also have to state the most annoying thing was getting abused in front of a 4-year-old. This store needs to be investigated and a change of management to take place or you may as well pack your bags and leave. - there are several alternatives which today we went to as money is not a big issue just the little one wanted Pizza Hut. Miller and Carter (Banbury) were perfect - nice polite staff, table found in a few minutes, they will take cash, place was clean and tidy. and no Abuse. Shame on Pizza Hut to have fallen so far. - AVOID I will be doing so fro the rest of my life.

It ruined my night out with my friends and girlfriend. Didn’t even bring us our food we had to complain after waiting for an hour and even then they still didn’t have it all. I certainly won’t be coming back here any time soon. It was so bad we had to go to KFC next door afterwards to enjoy the rest of the night.

We visited with the kids for a lunch buffet recently and we were quite disappointed!! You do it all yourself via an app which is just inconvenient. It took ages to log onto the Wi-Fi (as no signal in there), then load the order on then it didn't like the card details and took multiple attempts before accepting it. All the while the children are hungry and becoming impatient. It would just be easier and much quicker if a waiter took the order like they used to. Once ordered, I went to get drinks, and a dead green shelled bug fell out of the sauce racks as I picked up a bottle. The Ice Cream factory was broken so the deals didn't really work out great as you couldn't add the ice-cream. As for the buffet- we got there at 12:00 and there were already quite a few occupied tables, it continued to get busier as we were there yet multiple times the buffet was totally empty and people were visiting and walking away with empty plates waiting for a re-stock. It just generally felt grubby, one waiter covering the whole restaurant and 1 maybe 2 cooking. Whole experience was just naff and I wont hurry to come back. Just seems like the company cant be bothered anymore and are cutting corners.

The place was completely deserted at 8pm on a Saturday night. We were literally the only table in, I have noticed a lot of people on local social media site’s complaining because this place does not seem to want to accept cash anymore, maybe this is the reason? Apparently they are still blaming it on Covid. They want you to pay via an app and leave a tip before you have even been served. The staff were really nice and accommodating in asking us if everything was fine, the food was average and unsurprisingly didn’t take very long at all to arrive. The desserts were awful however, the hot brownie was like warm at best. Would I return? No on the basis that they do not want my money.

Disgusting visit. Ordered buffet (2 other tables in the whole place). 2 dry, slices of pizza available, asked for more - 20 minutes later still waiting (doesn’t work with 2 children). Asked for a refund and the delightful “Izzy” spoke to me like rubbish! She explained she had, had a hard day, she could do without me and when I asked for the manager was told “ this is a joke, for gods sake”. Manager didn’t care / demanded refund, left empty handed with 2 very upset children. Pizza Hut head office do not care as I’ve “had a refund”. Really disappointed. Never again. Avoid

Visited at 6 pm last night Not very busy but staff running around like headless chickens Eventually the table of 6 in front of us were shown to a table that wasn’t ready for them and the female member of staff just left them and went to the dishwasher to unload…we stood for at least 7-8 minutes…No acknowledgement from staff and they really didn’t seem organised at all We promptly left and went to KFC next door…two customers lost….

Awful, dined in but had to take our food home as we had waited over 1 hr, very sloppy service. No apology and no option to not to pay for our food and leave as you have to pay upfront. Absolutely dire, never again.

I went with my friend and my daughter aged 5. The ordering process was quite irritating as we were forced to order by scanning a bar code where the internet was terribly slow. We took the buffet and they could have easily made us pay at the counter but yet it took a long time with the phone app as the internet inside the store was so slow due to limited signals. The pizza was ok but pasta wasnt so nice. I wouldnt say it was a great experience.

Hot chocolate brownie with vanilla icecream. woukd have been nice if icecream was not missing i phoned store , the person on on phone could not be bothered. sums up customer care these days!

Big thank you to Amelia for making such a difference to our night by going above and beyond to make sure my daughter who is autistic and learning disabled felt comfortable and happy - there was a large party of children and my daughter was struggling, normally we would have to leave but Amelia our waitress was amazing, she took the time to tell my daughter how amazing she was doing and reassuring her and because of that we were able to stay and enjoy a celebratory meal out with her sisters for an 18th birthday - my daughter despite the sensory challenges left happy, smiling and wanting to come back! Amazing! Thank you so much Amelia - also food was delicious, service was polite friendly and very quick - a good night all round! Thank you!

Beyond useless. Shown to our table reasonably quickly. The server seemed a little miffed we didn't want to order via a QR code app. And that was the last we saw of anyone resembling a server. Only 3 other occupied tables on a Saturday evening (says it all perhaps?). This highlights all that's wrong with some bits of hospitality in that the place was being managed by poorly paid, poorly managed and poorly motivated teenagers. Wake up Pizza Hut, this is totally unacceptable. As for the food, who knows? But judging by other reviews, perhaps it's just as well we walked out 15 minutes after being ignore. Oh, and the toilets were filthy.

Wake up chap in the kitchen working on Thursday 31st lunch time. Pizza hut shame buffet. 2 or 3 cold pizzas on the buffet and empty pizza trays. Take some pride. Clearly disinterested and not bothered. Might be better suited to replacing the bog roll. On a positive note chap and girl on front of house were lovely.

Very slow service, lots of empty dirty tables, staff just stood about chatting, left waiting at entrance and staff kept looking over but took ages for someone to actually greet up and take us to a table. Would not visit again.

Really enjoying the fact u can just walk into a restaurant and not book and not wear a mask Salad bar has plenty of choices lettuce croutons cucumber etc salad dressings avail aswell what was nice was to be able to help urself Staff friendly always clearing the plates when finished always seen as cleaning something Only down side is no Pepperoni pizza but nothing major I did mention it to the staff and they apologised for this Chose the buffet style eat all u want £8.99 PP and refills so easy

After having a bad experience last year we decided to return and try it out again, hoping this time would be ok. Absolutely wrong. I cannot express how awful this place really is. The food, the service, the dirty restaurant. I really thought coming back a year later it would be a much better experience. The food is so overpriced, just for soggy doughy pizza and sides which barely even have anything in them. Again, like last time service was awful we were sat waiting for 20 minutes before anyone even realised we were there. The restaurant was pretty much empty but no staff in sight, only a rude manager who didn’t really seem bothered about us. I’ve never felt so out of place, such a shame. Don’t waste your money. Wont be returning again!

Went here today with the Mrs and our son. I'm gluten free. The Mrs and our son chose the buffet. I wanted the buffet too but couldn't have it because I'm gluten free. Made me feel like a freak. Been here before and the manager of the time said no problem with me having gluten free pizzas as part of the buffet deal. Great! Felt happy and welcome by this. Today I felt like an outsider. The best the manager could do was to offer me one pizza at buffet price. One pizza. No sides as they were all gluten. Never coming here again until the management treat all those with I tolerances (I have coeliac disease) the same.

I am very disappointed with the pizza hut service, the pizza only has dough you can hardly see the filling! if I knew it was on sale and will pay only mass, I wouldn't have bought it! redicule Never again

Been there with a family, service was horrible and pizza uncooked, not the same taste like pre-lockdown. Staff was all over the place and abrecommendation - go through the entrance door and speak to staff to be seated, otherwise they wont make an eye contact with you to be seated, as we stood outside for 50mins.

Me and my mother came in for the buffet. Was greeting politely by staff and was explained to new ordering system. I had already eaten prior so my mother ordered her buffet yet I asked if I could have a slice of her pizza. When the pizza was brought out, I asked for it and the staff member who served us expressed we couldn’t share which we were unaware of. Instead of quietly and respectively letting us know we couldn’t do that, we were met with rudeness. The staff member in question had her voiced raised where we could see other members of staff and surrounding customers staring and we felt extremely embarrassed. We were told if I was to have any I would’ve had to of paid for a whole separate meal as she held our plate in her hands not putting it on the table. It felt like being told off by a parent and put us off our food and wanted to leave. Will not be returning.

We had a lovely meal and felt safe. Staff were absolutely lovely. Very patient and helpful. The government scheme can be used alongside Meerkat 2 for 1 so amazing value

I've enjoyed pizza hut for many years. But dining with friends today I found the whole ordering process lengthy and frustrating. No drink refill and no salad bar. The salad that came with the pizza consisted of 4 tomatoes and very small portion of lettuce and grated carrot. Certainly not worth the time taken to order and not worth the money

The welcome was friendly and although they were very busy, the lady still had time for us. The salad was satisfactory and the buffet with the pizza was well stocked. The tables were clean and tidy and overall it looked a well-run establishment.

Our meet n greet was very well rehearsed and if it wasn't in the training of staff it should have been. Our waitress offered us a table...when I said please can we be further from the door she immediately apologised and realised her mistake.I tried to explain why I'm fussy it's because I have raynards so I feel the drafts and cold far more....but the waitress was completely apologetic stating I didn't need to explain my objections....that's a* customer service right there!The food was reliable, dependable, the salad bar was well stocked and the staff checked with chef before assuming (as others have) that food doesn't include allergens or food sensitivities. That for me made my day.Finally to be allowed to be free to choose food that does not require me to take anti allergy drugs....priceless. Child was delighted to try different drinks and different icecream toppings without committing to one. He was in 7th heaven which makes a huge difference.I'm glad we visited even got a doggy bag to take home.Will visit again if not just to feel like I'm important enough to leave garlic off the ingredients.Thank you for a great family memory.

Lovely cheap meal out for the kids! Loved the ice cream factory and were entertained with colouring packs! Slightly long wait for food but kids were happy colouring so didn’t mind! Good work

Appalling! No check back to make sure everything was ok with our food. Managers and staff all joking around, talking and being silly infront of guests in the restaurant? How professional does that look? Long wait for food despite their only being 3 tables in the restaurant!! Didn’t bother saying anything as didn’t want to be in there for any longer. Asked a member of staff if they could turn the air con down, think her name was Abbie, ( small teenage girl with dark hair) and she looked at me funny said ok then walked off, air con was still on 20 minutes later. When the food was brought over, one of the managers brought the sides over first before the pizza?! I didn’t want to eat my sides before the pizza, who would? Then my partner was still eating his pizza, the manager comes back and takes the rest of the empty plates away without even checking if we had finished or if everything was ok??? Absolutely appalling service and for a few quiet week day evening you should be ashamed of yourselves. I regularly visit this restaurant in Banbury and usually have no troubles but this was a complete shambles. Having ordered dessert as it was a part of our shared deal, we sat for 15 minutes waiting for 2 cookie doughs with ice cream, when there were only 3 tables in the restaurant. All the staff seemed to be more worried about getting everything closed down so they could go home, at 8pm?! You’re having an absolutely laugh. Never even bothered leaving a tip as all the staff working, including 2 manager staff in striped shirts (women( were incredibly rude. To get anybody’s attention we literally had to sit and stare at a member of staff for 5/10 minutes before they remembered us again. absolutely disgusting Pizza Hut banbury sort it out!

Popped in one evening last week. Was immediately shown to our table. The restaurant was clean and everything neat and tidy. The salad bar was well stocked with fresh salad ingredients.The pizzas were served promptly and were of a very good standard. Fillings and toppings were ample.Lovely evening with superb service.Thanks - we will be back again

Arrived around 13.30pm for the unlimited buffet. There were a few cold pizzas a 6 garlic breadsticks which soon disappeared . The odd new pizza came out but a lot of the time customers were just sitting and waiting for pizza. After 30 minutes the waitress asked if everything was okay we explained we were waiting for the breadsticks. Another 15 minutes and nothing new came out. Spoke to the waitress who said there was nothing she could do. Having been in there for a hour and half we decided to leave, the breadsticks never appeared. When paying we expressed that the unlimited buffet was very limited. We were told that when new customers come in the kitchen is told and they will then do new pizzas and if you want something you have to ask for it. Not sure this is classed as "unlimited".

This restaurant had good food but was very messy there is an ice cream maker for kids this is called "ice cream factory" which is very good. On the other hand gum was stuck to the bottom of the tables and chairs which is very disgusting and unhygienic. Quite good service may come back over all quite good.

Took the kids to Banbury last night for a kfc. Unfortunately they decided they couldn’t be assed and locked the doors an hour and a half before closing. I didn’t really fancy a pizza but as Pizza Hut is right there I thought why not. Leah who took our order was amazing and even though we were a little late ,which I know Is bloody frustrating for all staff working there, was perfectly happy to serve us. Food was all lovely. Definitely converted to Pizza Hut now. Through this experience I think even the kids would sooner have a pizza rather than chicken now! Thanks again all

Being a bit of a pizza lover I drag the wife here quite regularly. The Last two times we have been served by Leah a top little waitress, good fun and friendly. Well done

Went here for a family meal there was 10 of us all together, ellie who served us was amazing and very enthusiastic, she was very good to the children at our table and managed to bring a smile to a grumpy 8 year old boy can't really praise her enough, Food was good but a little slow, a couple of the sides came about 10 minutes after the Mains were served and the desserts were a bit slow other than that everyone enjoyed their meals

We order 3 deserts of which two had black hair in it, We sent one back and during the period that we were waiting for a new portion, we came across another hair in the other desert that we ordered.

Ordered pizza online and advised it would be ready in 20 minutes. When we arrived staff were flustered and under pressure with several people waiting for overdue orders. Staff apologetic but had to wait about 45 minutes for 2 straightforward pizzas!

We popped in for an early evening meal with our toddler. We were seated straight away and service was quick but not rushed. The food was nice and we were pleased to see vegan cheese is now available on the menu.

Saw loads of black rubbish bags stacked in the kitchen as the door opened and also kitchen looked dirty with debris. The salad bar is messy, its mostly tastes watery and the 'potato salad' 'coleslaw' & 'mayonnaise' look and taste like they have been created in a laboratory by a scientist. Pizza was bland, soggy and under cooked. Place generally feels dirty. drinks area is sticky, ice cream factory bowls were not clean. no napkins in our area. tables not cleared. etc etc.................. Its a NO from me.

We waited 40 minutes to be seated. We ordered separately but when the order finally arrive it was half and half as they’d run out of individuals. Nice to have been to,d when we ordered. Tried the half and half to find it luke warm. Won’t be going again any time soon!!

I really enjoyed it here , i cant remember her name but there was a lovely girl with shoulder height hair and she was a fantastic waitress, it lovely to see someone with a smile on!

Came to visit late Sunday evening, was greeted immediately on arrival, seated straight away. Service was great, the food was perfect and came out in good time. The facilities were clean and the decor was up to date :)

The food at pizza hut is always really good, especially the BBQ Americano pizza! The service here was great too! Out food arrived super quickly and everyone was extremely friendly!

Not a welcome you’d expect. Asked how many table was for. I said 4 he looked at me with quite annoyance and said well it could have been more sometimes people go to the toilet first. Er ok. Not sure why I was spoken too in such a way. We were seated. Place was a mess. Service was slow. Food, at best, was warm. Topping was lacking. It was like we’re we’re on rations. We had the low cal option flat bread for my mum, there was so much garnish you couldn’t see the flat bread. Take that off and your left with nothing more than soggy bread.

Went to a Pizza Hut restaurant in Banbury with my friend, had a waiter called "jaspor" or "japor" serve us..well he didn't even serve us...took us to a table, didn't even say 1 word to us. It was not busy at all in there,4 tables at the most were taken up so he has no excuse. We had to go and get our own salad and drinks as we sat for 15 minutes after being seated and he didn't come over to us. We then said "can we order now please" and he replied with "yes hang on", he was not enthusiastic at all (seemed like he didn't want to serve us) did not smile, did not check on our food. Then had to go up to him to ask for boxes and a pudding. We then had to go up to him for the bill again. We even took our pudding from the hot side to our table because he didn't bring it over and it was sat there for 5 minutes. Seriously unhappy about this as I am a waitress myself and the customer service that we received from him was absolutely appalling! Definitely ruined mine and my friends meal and time there. I always go to Pizza Hut and this really has put me off. Really really unhappy with how we were treated.

Visited this branch in Banbury after a long day out and not wishing to cook, the restaurant was very busy, yet the three of us were able to be seated straight away. Orders for drinks were taken without delay, as was the food order. We were directed to the inclusive salad buffet, whilst this station is quite small and not exactly easy to navigate around when busy; it was well stocked with a good range of fresh salads, toppings and sauces. I personally would have this relocated to enable people to pass by more easily.

A good gluten free pizza, very helpful server, even tho the ice cream factory not working they sorted out our younger dinner with ice cream

Decided to try the lunch buffet and was pleasantly surprised. Despite only a few people being in the restaurant the pizzas were fresh and hot with a decent selection. Good value for money with the refill drink as well.

For an old visit which unfortunately ended with a bittersweet taste. When a restaurant takes pride in welcoming families, accomodating children and parents and serving food to all: the staff ought to be trained in distinguishing theft from genuine leftovers, not grumbling when making space for a pushchair, etc. My only hope is that the place got better over the last year since we have not gone back.

Me my wife and daughter went there today for dinner. The food diddnt look to well at all and now we are all feeling sick. My wife can't stop being sick and me and my daughter can't stop going to the toilet. Really not happy and will be seeking legal advice. This is not right at all

The food here is lovely. They do an amazing help yourself salad bar and its always fresh food. I've only ever had pizzas n salad here and enjoyed every mouthful. The staff are friendly and well dressed. They have always been busy when I've been, just process how popular they are and in a good location. Massive car park so no hassles parking up!

An excellent location ... on a retail park, with more than ample parking.The staff are always very nice, which is important to me.The food is good. I particularly like the buffet option at lunch time. The salad bar is another favourite of mine. I always make a beeline for the blue cheese dressing :-)The restaurant also has an excellent "Ice Cream Factory", which is wonderful for children.The only criticism I would have is that both the food and drink is a little overpriced (my opinion of course) ... hence four stars instead of five.

I , as an adult had a fantastic time at the lunch buffet! £7.50 per adult and a refillable drink for £2.40 each. there was 2 adults a 5 year old and a 1 year old. me and the other adult ate as much as we could, but the kids buffet is a bit pricey, even with the combo for £8.50. i understand not all children are the same, but my little girl doesn't eat a great deal so we paid £ 8.5o for 1 and 1/2 of pizza, 2 spoonfuls of ice cream and a fruit shoot. luckily the gentleman serving was very nice and helpful so we didn't have to pay for the 1 year olds food, only her drinkwill go again, without kids. i just wish there was a way to avoid paying a copious amount for a child that eats next to nothing.

Visited on a Wednesday afternoon and ordered the buffet. Being vegetarian at buffets is always a bit annoying as there is usually very few things to choose from, the meat eaters normally eat the veggie stuff first then move on to the meaty stuff (why don't you just admit it!). But there was loads of veggie pizzas to choose from, 2 veggie pastas and the salad bar (which seems to gone through some sort of refurb). Overall it was fantastic. Returned a few weeks later on a really busy Thursday night, lo and behold, still fantastic!

Went for a birthday lunch with some family and few friends. There was some great deals on with the food, pretty cheap prices too considering how much food you get, the guy serving us seemed a little miserable but then again I would be too if I had to work on a bank holiday Monday!

some good additions to the menu in case you don't want pizza, took the family and daughters friend they loved it but what kid does not like pizza. Good service even thou it was busy and food was hot.

I visited with three kids a couple of weeks ago, just after it reopened. We were sat promptly, but then had to wait ages for a waitress to take our order. We ordered three portions of chips with our pizza. The pizzas arrived (ages later) no chips. I enquired approx. three more times to be told they were coming. Inevitably, we had finished most of the pizzas, so I told the waitress to forget the chips. She wasn't at all happy with this! I thought, maybe as it had just reopened, we should give it another chance last night. What a mistake! Same bunch of us and the same waitress. Again, a long wait for our order to be taken. This time we ordered two different starters. Main courses arrived, again after a long wait, I said to the waitress that we haven't had our starters yet. Her response was...'oh, they are just coming'. I couldn't be bothered to argue at this point, having decided never to eat here again. By the way, main course of pasta and chicken was swimming in cheese flavoured water...not a sauce! Hope you have a better luck.

It's not often I leave a review, but after a visit on Friday 3rd February, they really should be ashamed of their customer service, we were seated promptly, then had an almost 10 minute wait for a waitress .... once our food was ordered, a basic starter of garlic bread and a pizza to share, we were still waiting 45minutes later... having called our waitress over she went off to see where our starter was, and in all honesty, although it was busy, it wasn't rammed.... it was only Garlic Bread....surely a staple..... after some debating with kitchen and cooking staff the manager was involved, nobody came back to us, so we got up and walked out to leave, the manager asked what was going on, he offered to reseat us, but enough was enough by then, the waitress didn't seem to care... such a shame

The pizza here is always delivered quickly and is always good. Great deals to choose from and plenty of choice on the menu

Extremely unimpressed with Service and attitude. Ordered a takeaway and advised would be 15-20 mins max. After 30-35 mins I was finally noticed waiting by the person who had taken the order. He immediately appeared to find my meal (which I think had been sitting awaiting action for some time - it was not very hot when I got it !),and then just presented it to me without a word..... not even an 'enjoy your meal' let alone a 'sorry it has taken so long'. Very poor - and clearly the establishment processes are in need of improvement - there were plenty of staff milling around, but no one bothering to see meals waiting for collection and finding out if anyone is waiting.

Had a very enjoyable meal with my family and pleasantly surprised with the choice available from the salad bar. Slightly disappointed that the key lime pie and the chocolate cheesecake were unavailable, but the ice cream and the chocolate sundae made up for that.

Grazie a Pizza Hut, io ed alcune amiche, abbiamo mangiato per 4 sere consecutive nel salotto del nostro appartamentino a summertown grazie al servizio a domicilio disponibile fino alle 24. La pizza non è quella tipica italiana ovviamente ma è davvero davvero buona. Vi consiglio assolutamente i Cookies, biscotti di pasta frolla con cioccolata fondente all'interno, si sciolgono in bocca e sono SUPERLATIVI!

Ideal if you want a cheap and cheerful dinner (pizza)!! Long live all you can eat salad bar!! Probably not suited for special occasions. Service mostly satisfactory on every visit.

Brilliant service at this PIzza Hut. Thank you. Lovely staff. Very friendly and helpful. Explained Take Away menu very patiently to us. Couldn't have been more friendly and caring.

5 adults 1 toddler and 1 baby all squished into a booth which was very annoying as we all had to keep getting up and down to let the others out to get their salads and drinks etc. Refill drinks were not explained so we sat for 10 minutes waiting for glasses to be bought over. The 2 fruits hoots and 2 budweiser were forgotten about and 15 minutes after ordering we had to remind a waiter. Kids pizzas bought out absolutely boiling hot with the cheese that had fallen off in the oven. 2 large pizzas came out. Just warm and weren't great quality. Felt like we were more or less just plonked and forgotten about. It wasn't even busy and so many things were forgotten. I don't have time to write everything wrong I picked up on. Definitely won't be returning.

Went for lunch with my friend & her boy. Really good range of salad, pasta & hot pizza. Very impressed with the level of service from the lady & gentleman who served us. Customer care, especially ensuring the child enjoyed his time was very important to them.

Went on a bank holiday Monday. They don't do a buffett because apparently it doesnt class as a weekday. Ridiculous.

We visited this restaurant with our grandchildren, we were seated across the aisle next to where the Regional Manager was discussing business matters and the restaurants performance with the female Restaurant Manager.This is not what we wanted to be over hearing in a restaurant, especially when the Regional Manager stated to discuss poor performance issues and the Manager broke down in tears.We are surprised that there wasn't a private office where these things could be discussed away from a family trying to enjoy a meal.

The children alway love pizza but don't do anything special for a party it's just a group of tables for the children to sit around and chat with each other. Would be nice if they had a tour or something whilst the pizzas are cooking.

Pizza's were OK, hair found in the salad bar though which was very off putting!Service was rubbish. Had to ask for the bill twice. Then we had to go to the pay station to pay as the bill was dumped on our table and no one came back to take payment. After being ignored by the waitress and waiter at the station we ended up picking up the card machine and sorted ourselves out so we could leave!Will not be back any time soon.

asked for the 13.99 deal and waiter didn't explain what it was so we presumed it was shared between 2 people. When it came to the bill, we put 13.99 on the tray and waited for someone to collect it, a waiter came over and started being aggressive towards us saying that we didn't put enough money down, we didn't understand and he started raising his voice and becoming more and more aggressive towards us. Then he started to be sarcastic and try and sweeten us up. Will never ever be returning as it was £28 wasted on a crap restaurant!

Went here for lunch on a Sunday afternoon. We were shown our table, and our order was taken quite promptly, but then our waitress disappeared from the restaurant (her shift had ended). I watched our pizza finish cooking in the oven, and it sat at the end of the conveyor belt for 5 minutes while the two kitchen staff were attending to something else. Eventually it was picked up and placed on the collection area to be taken to our table, where 3 waiting staff walked passed it over the course of the next 10 minutes. Neither of us could believe it, finally I had had enough and went over to get the pizza myself. A member of staff saw me bring it back to my table - at this point I assumed he would apologise and offer to bring us our plates - but no, he just stared and then turned away, leaving me to return to the service area to collect some plates for us.By this time the pizza had gone cold anyway, but at no point during our stay did any member of staff do a check back to see if everything was alright. After sitting at our table for a while after finishing, with no-one coming to collect our plates, we called for the manager. She was very apologetic, and we received a discount on our bill, but we will never return to this restaurant. The training levels here are shocking. Looking at some of the other reviews, this place has been like this for some time.

stopped here on our way down to London for lunch, warm welcome on arrival, served and seated quickly, great choice on the menu , we had the meal deal 2 courses + drink which was great value for money and filled the gap nicely, would recommend going here and the staff we very efficient

I pre ordered my pizza, drink and sided for 18:00 and i waited until 18:10 to call them and they said it was just coming out the oven so i waited again at about 18:35 called them back and they said they got the order wrong they were sorry and said the would give me a free dessert so i waited AGAIN!!!! at about 19:10 it came FINALLY but they had only delivered they pizza and drink.

Went around 5ish on a Saturday night - restaurant was not full. All went fine until mains, husband had wrong pizza given to him so the bloke took it away. Didn't say sorry, didn't say how long his pizza would take. By the time me and my son had finished our pizzas his still hadn't arrived, no sign of anyone. Went searching and his pizza had been sat waiting to go to our table for a while. When he finished his again left waiting with empty plates for further 20/25 mins. Explained we were dissapointed to waiter, he said 'oh' no sorry. So spoke to manager who to be fair did express his sorries. Table behind us had complained as there food was cold, and table next to us were never given menus had to fine there own as no sign of waiters and again - no one said sorry to them.Lots of empty tables just not clean a family had been waited to be seated for ages and in the end just went and sat at an empty table. Food was good though.

.......children running all over the place to take advantage of the self service ice cream factory, soft drink machine and salad bar. A small proportion of Parents didn't seem to bother and let children run wild. Waited 15 minutes for table to be cleared and cleaned. Springs in my seat had broken which meant I was practicably sitting on the floor and left with back ache. Salad bar, drinks area and salad bar were messy and covered in spilled food and drink. Toilets disgraceful, again children messing with water etc. Food was ok, noticeably the chips which were lovely. Meal nice and hot. Waiter pleasant. If we visit again it would be later in the evening when the surroundings might play host to a better behaved clientele.

Visited for the buffet and initially the staff couldn't keep up with the amount of customers. Staff were attentive but seem absolutely run off their feet / short staffed. All in an ok experience 3*.

Did we make you smile? my receipt asks me. No, is the answer. We were told when we ordered it was a thirty minute wait for our pizza , which was fine, as we were having starters . After an hour we were told the pizza would be free as it had taken so long, and it would be ready in five minutes. We decided to take it home , so we settled the bill for our starters and drinks. Quarter of an hour later our pizza arrived, and when we got it home it tasted under cooked. Very, very poor experience . The restaurant wasn't even that busy, but the take away side was. I felt that the people that had made the effort to come out to sit and eat, in your restaurant , were treated with contempt. The people that ordered take out seemed to be the priority, that is the worst experiance of eating out I have ever experienced .

Lovely & clean outlook restaurant, greeted by a lovely young lad who led us to our table. Classic food, great for the money. Efficient table service, however we were disappointed and offended with the inappropriate comments and touching between staff members. Particularly the young gentlemen & a young brunette.Overall a pleasant evening, although I believe Banbury Pizza Hut management need to remind their staff basic rules about relationships within a working environment. Truly disgusted.

I love pizza and pizza hut never disappoint. Staff were spot on, service was quick, what more do you want.

I went with my 2 children during the school holidays to the lunch time buffet.Everything was "ok" but that was about it, nothing to write home about an no amazing service that made me think "wow i want to come here again", its a lunch buffet so you dont expect anything special though.It was fairly quiet the food was fresh and the salad bar fully stocked.I was a little disappointed that i told the waiter my little boy wasnt feeling too well and just wanted a little salad, i was told that a salad bowl is £5 or the buffet for a child is £4 so i might as well have that, he literally had half of one of the tiny bowls and i was sat by the staff station so they did know that so i thought it was a little poor to charge £4 but thats the price, i just thought the customer service with that could have been a little better.No real complaints just what you expect from pizza hut.

I took my daughter and her friends here for her birthday and they really enjoyed themselves. Food was great, they liked getting their drinks and salad. We had a table and they had a table next to us and the staff were really helpful and friendly

My Family and I visit while ago it was very unimpressed with the service however we decided to give Pizza Hut another try this weekend and were pleasantly surprised. The place was much cleaner, The staff were friendly and out food came out in a reasonable time. Hopefully it stays this way and we can visit again soon.

Wow, where to start.. Stood waiting to be seated or even acknowledged finally young lad came over and said a table for 5? Yes please he looks around shrugs his shoulders then says Ok I'll just clear this table... Another wait then when we were seated the table was soaking wet, looked at menus waited again for our order to be taken and told where to get our drinks not knowing it's self service, ordered food fine any drinks he says 3 Pepsi 1 magners 1 kopperberg my sister asks for a glass of tap water with some lemon maybe, waiter replies oh not sure we have any lemon but the self service drinks are over there.... Fine got drinks, surprising food was very nice except the salad bar had obviously been sat out a while.... Food came water says can I get you any sauces... My sister asked for some mayo oh yes well it's just on the salad bar so why he bothered asking I don't know, took a while for our plates to be cleared, then asked if we would like desserts yes ordered sundaes and cookie dough to share my brother had ice cream factory waiter says oh just help yourself,no bowls there no spoons waiting a long time before the water finally appeared again to ask for our bill, but sure took payment quick enough, service is bad and unfortunate really won't go back until it improves

The buffet at lunchtime is not what it used to be. Selection of pizza available limited, they only put a new pizza up when they gave to consequently the popular ones pepperoni etc were gone and only veggie ones or ones with artificial beef and chill us available. Salad bar not very appetising, dried up and messy. The new system of the limitless drinks means you get unlimited warm wet glasses of very watered down Pepsi. Service almost non existent then eventually they hover for a big tip, what for exactly in not sure as all they do us bring a menu up. My kids enjoy it here for a lunch time treat but it could definitely be improved on.

I was really looking forward to having a Pizza last night. So much we even ordered some "golden crispy chips" for £3.49. At this price I was expecting something brilliant. When the delivery arrived I was surprised to see the bag of chips was in a small box. When the box was opened inside where some soggy mushy 'chips' and there was only about 15 in there! For £3.49 this is a joke and when a member of the family ringed to complain, the staff were so disinterested we were passed to 4 different people who all gave the same answer "we can't give a refund" Disgraceful and pizza wasn't that great either. Not a good experience.

I visited here yesterday with my wife and two grandsons, hoping for a quick bite to eat of something all kids love - Pizza! It being a Sunday, not surprisingly the place was quite full but not without spaces. However, we waited, as requested by the lectern at the entrance to be shown to a table. Despite the fact that several members of staff looked our way, not one actually asked us if we wanted a table. Finally, a quite pleasant young lady asked if we wanted a table and told us she would be back in a moment!She finally arrived back and showed us to a table, where we sat and pondered the menus. And we sat, and we sat, and we sat. The people on the next table, who arrived after us had their order taken, and still we sat there! Every time I looked at a member of staff, they either looked the other way or it seemed, just ignored me. In the end, I asked the young waitress who was busy inputting endless figures in to the nearby till, if she would mind taking our order - which she did.We gave our order and quite swiftly our glasses arrived so we could help ourselves to drinks. We were also told that we could help ourselves to the salads bar and bowls were on the side. So, we did both of these things and sat patiently waiting. We waited, and waited, and waited some more. In fact, we waited for over half an hour for two kids size pizzas and two adults size pizzas to arrive. Considering that the waiting staff have nothing else to get than main courses, because it's self-service for drinks and salads, I really don't know what they were all doing with their time. they certainly weren't clearing tables as there were many of these stacked up with dirty dishes.Having finished our pizzas - I chose the Californian prawn one, and frankly it was tasteless - we were pressed by our two small charges for ice creams - which once again, they serve themselves. Well, what a shambles that turned out to be! The ice cream was like water - it certainly wasn't frozen - absolutely dreadful! And just to make matters worse, the bowls had just come from the dishwasher and were hot, which melted the slush even further.Management here should all be sacked! Absolutely the worst restaurant experience I have ever had. I will NEVER set foot in here again.

To start with We were served by a very miserable rude man my sister asked what soft drinks they had and he didn't say a word just shoved the menu in her face! After waiting ages he finally brought the starters and shoved them randomly on the table in the wrong places and didn't say anything. Then after waiting ages it got to about the time we were expecting our pizza's to be told they had run out of mushrooms sweetcorn and deep pan pizza bases meaning they hadn't even started cooking our pizza's as they asked if were ok having thin based pizza's then finally when the food arrived we got 2 pizza's 10 minutes before the other one! There was only us and 1 other family there the staff were clearly untrained and very rude was very disappointed with the whole place.

Booked a table upon arrival was told it was booked for 15 minutes after the time it was book. Sat down and waited for 25 minutes for our order to come, had to ask for someone to come and take our order. Other customer also waiting for food, service and to pay, no staff to be seen on the floor. Manager then came to take our order and was very rude saying he had other things to do! Waited a further 45 minutes for our food to come. We had to send back a stater as was not correct this came back out after we finished our main corse! We said was no longer wanted as was to late to see it was still in the bill! Staff then over charged us and said we had to call another number to complain. Food was ok, place was a mess and service terrible!

I feel compelled to write in regard to the appalling standard of hygiene I witnessed at the Pizza Hut Banbury This was my first visit to a Pizza hut and probably my last! I entered the restaurant with my partner and daughter. I waited in the entrance however no-one was available to greet us , I was told by a passing member of staff to select a table .The restaurant had possibly 8 patrons so I selected an empty table , only to find food debris on the floor and a sticky table and seating . I moved seats and found exactly the same scenario. The restaurant was empty so completely perplexed as to why staff had “set” dirty tables ?There was a drinks menu on the table, which was sticky and dirty. On closer inspection of the restaurant, I found the floor to be incredibly dirty, there was food and split drinks littering the booths and public areas. The salad bar looked a total and utter mess with used utensils and food scattered all over it.After 5 minutes we made the decision to leave. If the public areas were this dirty I didn’t want to risk the food ! On leaving the establishment I was asked by a member of staff if there was a reason for our departure.I explained the problems and received the following response “Its always like this” and “was nothing they could do”…. I suggested cleaning the public areas, to which I received no response.

A prime example of corporate geeed over customer service. Poorly staffed and what staff there are are poorly trained. Now they have introduced self service drinks there is no reason why the restaurant cannot be run on minimum staffing, so being short staffed shouldn't be an excuse. This restaurant needs the brands best manager to come in and train the staff properly and turn the place around. Expect a long wait to get to any of the empty tables, unattentive and demoralised staff, dirty glasses and if you are lucky you might get a pizza.People don't expect much from pizza hut but I expected more than what was on offer. My advice....go to pizza express instead, they may be slow at times but at least they know the importance of customer service.

Shockingly poor customer service, "no record" of our booking, and then somehow our order didn't get put into the system. Left aft an hour and a hlaf, without having had any pizza. Order a Dominos instead.

My granddaughter asked to go to Pizza hut for her birthday lunch we travelled 100 miles to take her there. The table had been booked by my daughter in the week so that we would not have to wait . When we arrived at the restaurant they had not got our booking after waiting half an hour for a table. They took our order and we waited and waited for nearly an hour, when we asked where our food was. they found that they hadn't ordered it , by that time my Grandchildren let alone the adults were hungry and fed up when the waiter came back to take our order we told him not to bother and left. they were totally understaffed but there was no reason for us to be ignored others got there pizzas who came in after us .

OK, Its Pizza Hut, I don't expect 5 star treatment, but it was 4.00pm the place was one elderly couple and two other families in the whole place.We were sat on rickety tables that hadn't been cleaned when all the booths were available and although they took our order fairly quickly and the food also arrived fairly quickly, there was no cutlery to eat it with, the Pizza and the sharing platter arrived sometime apart despite asking to have them together and when the dashing platter did arrive one of the dips was missing. To top it all, there were no bowls at the salad bar and both the potato salad and coleslaw bins were empty and had not been replaced or refilled.I don't expect much at Pizza Hut, but clean tables, cutlery and actually getting what you order seems to me to be a reasonable request.

Not a place I would usually eat in but we thought we would have a change.Very child friendly and busy. The staff were good and the food was ok. It is just a Pizza at the end of the day but I would use it again.

went into the banbury pizza hut asked for parmesan to go with pizza and was told they dont do it anymore dont no if its just the banbury one or all of them now but i wont be back in a hurry the salad bowl smaller too

The food was okay. Lots of kids running around though but that's out of their control. Food was really quite bland and there is no salt or pepper on the table! Not bad service but staff rush around a lot and it always seems an inconvenience to ask for things. Shame, would visit again in hope of better service.
