Pizza Hut in Reigate and Banstead

I visited the Reigate Pizza Hut branch on [17-03-25] to avail of the afternoon meal deal, during which I ordered a pizza and garlic bread. While awaiting my order, I observed a staff member **with his hand visibly buried down his trousers, aggressively scratching his crotch** in full view of customers. To my alarm, this same individual proceeded to handle my pizza when it reached the conveyor belt: **he sliced the pizza, garnished it, inserted a white plastic utensil into the food**, and attempted to serve it to me. I immediately refused the order, explicitly stating that I would not accept food handled by someone engaging in such unhygienic practices. Upon returning to request a refund, the employee in question **began shouting at me in a hostile manner**, while other staff dismissively instructed me to “ignore him” and offered to remake the order. Notably, as I observed through the kitchen’s glass door, a staff member **purposefully obstructed the view by covering the window with a Pizza Hut case**—a blatant attempt to conceal further mishandling. This incident reflects **appalling negligence of basic food safety standards** and a complete disregard for customer welfare. I have already reported this to Pizza Hut’s customer service and the local council’s Environmental Health team. I now demand: 1. **Immediate preservation of all CCTV footage** from [17.03.25/time between 15:15 to 15:45] for review by authorities. 2. A written explanation of the disciplinary actions taken against the employee involved. 3. A full refund and compensation for this unacceptable experience. The conduct exhibited here is **utterly disgraceful** and directly contravenes the Food Safety Act 1990. Should Pizza Hut fail to address this with urgency, I will escalate this matter to the Food Standards Agency and pursue further recourse.

I always go in really late after a shift at the pub up the road so always feel super guilty but the guys in there are so nice, normally the same two guys that are very accommodating not sure what their names are but the name Jay was in my ticket, and there is another man that’s very lovely and always says hello to me :)

What a great store manager, Richard, friendly funny and a real charmer. Great service, fast delivery, and tasty hot food. Will definitely use again and would totally recommend.

The best stuffed crust pizzas!!! Just delicious, perfect, golden base, stuffed with pure mozzarella. Ghulam the delivery driver was fast, friendly and efficient. The best place to go for pizzas!!!

My wife and I ordered a large deep pan pizza from this takeaway with all the trimmings today We spoke to Holly who was very pleasant and helpful and gave us a good deal for the money The food was delivered by Ghulam he was early and the food was well presented and hot. He had a great smile The Manager needs to be commended on the staff.

Great pizza, my familly loves it. Jay, the person that takes takes orders does a great job. He always get my order right and in good times. I strongly recommended

Our Deliveroo order was sent to the wrong house, after calling the manager we were told: he’s managing the store so doesn’t have the ability to check, did not ask for our name/number/order, didn’t know the Deliveroo number, said that the people who pick up the orders often don’t speak English so he can’t even say to them to double check the houses reference number when you go to drop the food off- to make sure it’s the right house AND he had a terrible attitude.

Ordered 4 pizzas for a quick dinner with the family. Ordering was easy and delivery was quick enough. Found 2 hairs in one pizza and another hair in another pizza. We ended up throwing the pizzas away after eating only half of each. We were told that we would get a voucher after sending pics, I wanted a full discount as it ruined our meal completely and waisted us a lot of time. They are not responding to my whats-app messages and I have had no compensation. There are so many better options out there than Pizza Hut. I even think that a Pizza from M&S is 100 times better than eating from here. You have to wonder how Pizza Hut have managed to stay open for so long. Guarantee though, if they keep up this poor quality and servicem they will not be around much longer.

We have used this takeaway for years, always on time, always delicious and always get our order right.

The WORST service I’ve ever experienced. The pizza was 45 minutes late, cold, sloppy and generally unsatisfactory. I would never use this delivery again and recommend no one else does unless you want to waste money.

Delivery service.Bland stone cold soggy nachos. Bothe pizzas were stone cold,soggy,bland and very limited topping. Never again.
