Pizza Hut in Trafford

We took six 11year olds here for food after a party and the staff were so helpful and made us feel very welcome. They couldn’t do enough for us. The food arrived quickly despite it being a busy Saturday and it was delicious. I would definitely recommend. Anthony really did go above and beyond. Thank you so much.

I was really looking forward to eating at Pizza Hut during my day trip, but unfortunately, I left without even ordering due to a frustrating and confusing ordering process. After being seated, I was told to order using a QR code scanner, but my phone doesn’t have one built in. Instead, I was directed to order online. I selected the items I wanted, but I couldn’t find anywhere that showed my total or confirmed my basket. I spent 15 minutes trying to figure it out, and with no help from the staff—who seemed too busy to assist—I eventually gave up and left. It was incredibly disappointing, and I feel the ordering process needs to be changed. Not everyone wants to, or can, order through their phone, and clearer instructions (or more staff assistance) would make a huge difference.

Came in on Saturday and had a wonderful experience. Very quick service and great interactions from staff. Specifically Caitlin (the manager) was extremely helpful. She was extremely attentive and was happy to help with whatever I needed almost immediately. Would return soon after this experience.

Place wasn’t busy when entering, but waited 40 mins for just my 14” pepperoni pizza, which wasn’t worth it. Had no waiter come and check on us. I had to personally get up and update them as other tables received all there dishes even though I was seated before them

Having received a generic email asking for feedback that was given, Pizza Hut asked for a Google review. I have enjoyed very good service and food previously at Pizza Hut, but this experience was really poor. No interaction with staff. Only the basic communication given. Food a bit meh, no check up, got our own pizza box for left overs. Asked on the app to give a tip prior to being served which seems ridiculous. I would have given a cash tip, if I had received any service, but feel I didn't. A really disappointing and sorry experience.

Thank you so much for a great visit today. The food was delicious and the staff were really attentive. The host Dave was especially great as he was so welcoming, even my daughter commented that he made her laugh (which being a tween is kind of hard to do)! We’ll definitely be back again.

Had an enjoyable dinner of pizza and dessert for myself, my partner and her children, it was a little expensive but the food itself was nice and the bottomless Pepsi and salad bar went down a treat!

When we arrived as a family of 4 we were directed to scan the barcode to order. This was not working for us, so Lorna offered to take out order. The meal deal that was available online does not appear on their menu. Lorna got Daniel the manager to look into this. He told us "No Problem" and out out order through manually. Both Daniel and Lorna have amazing personalities (in fact we remember them both from our previous visit this time last year). They are both a credit to Pizza Hut in ensuring that every customer is treated as VIPs while they done. So many more places could learn a lot about customer service from these two.

Lovely visit today to Pizza Hut. Lacie our server was pleasant and professional and the manager was really helpful with a query. We had the buffet and the selection was great. Would recommend.

Family of 6, parents and 4 children aged 3-12. We weren't even greeted we had to hunt staff to be seated, a grumpy woman (manager) showed us to the table. No one told us about ordering ourselves, when we had ordered, no one explained the salad bar or showed us where it was (we were sat well out of site of it) so we didn't use this sevice. We were given glasses for refillable drinks but werent shown where the drinks machine was. When we got a fanta there were floating clumpy bits of brown in it so we returned it to be told its normal. When the food arrived - some of it was missing but the staff were no where to be seen, no one did a check back to see if we had all of our food and to see if the food was OK. We left our food and chased staff round yet again, twice with different members of staff and 30 minutes later it had still not arrived. We asked for the manager which turned out to be who was 'looking after us' - she placed her hands in the table to lean while talking to us and her fingers and nails were absolutely filthy and she didn't smell pleasant at all - she blamed other staff even though we had chased her about it directly. By this point all my 3 year old wanted was ice cream so we told them not to bother as it was nearing kids bed time after our 3 hour visit of running round. She said she would try to get us a discount of £25 then wondered off again and didn't come back to confirm anything. When it came to the ice cream factory, we had no spoons or bowls for adults, the ice cream section was filthy and the pots of 'toppings' were pretty much empty - AGAIN we had to chase staff for spoons with a very unhappy 3 year old. One member of staff I didn't catch the name of did check we were okay just as we were leaving and we explained what had happened, he was disgusted with the service we had received. If you want a nice relaxing family meal - this is not the place for you. Just to add - things we didn't mention while we were there but good to know for families... The kids bolagnaise was very unpleasant and was left basically un touched and all the chips are seasoned with something that the kids all said was spicy. We enjoyed the chips but the kids weren't keen.

We visited for my sons birthday. The staff at the front weren't very helpful. They were more interested in having a good ole chin wag with someone else. However, we eventually caught there attention and was given a table. Unfortunately, we left shortly after and did not eat here. The service was poor and the prices are just too expensive for what it is. After reading the reviews also, I'm glad we swerved this one as the quality of the food looks to be pretty poor anyway. There are plenty of better options in the area that are reasonably priced and the staff are actually interested!

I had a truly disappointing experience at this restaurant. From the start, the service was extremely slow – we waited outside for ages just to be seated with very little communication from the staff and then waited even longer for our food and drinks to arrive. When my daughters pizza came, it was missing the ham I’d paid extra for. I complained, only to be told they had no ham left in the kitchen, yet they still charged me the £2 for the topping! Promise of manager doing the refund, never saw the manager! To make matters worse, no one checked in on us, to see if our food was ok, and to be honest, it wasn’t. Plates not cleared away for deserts, I had to have them stacked in front of me. We asked about desserts, multiple times, they arrived incorrectly after several requests. I found The pizza itself was cold, with a very thin, crusty base that was more disappointing than enjoyable. Not great value for money at all. The whole experience was poor value for money, and despite the issues, I wasn’t even given a refund for the missing ham. Poor hygiene around salad bar, and the toilets, felt like we had self served ourselves so much, with ordering on the app, getting our drinks etc, No communication with staff. Overall, I’m really not impressed, and I won’t be returning.

Very bad value for money. £45 for 2 small pizzas with very little topping which did not cover the surface and 2 drinks. Will not be returning.

I ordered a loaded bacon chessy bite bites which was supposed of come with a round dough ball with bacon and chesse inside instead of that I got a dough with no bacon and the "bacon" it was supposed to come with was in little pieces on top but instead of bacon I got ham i am really mad and I demand a free bacon chessy bite bites next time I come

What made me cross is that everything was £2 more expensive than central Manchester ie buffet £18 rather than £16 at Manchester arndale

Shocking ordered the buffet long waits and no pizzas coming out. Around 20 people waiting for buffet pizza never seen this before.

Shockingly shite service. No one asked how the food was in the middle of eating came and took the menus no excuse me just reached over. Shambolic garlic bread like how do you mess up garlic bread. Pizza is awful for the amount you pay. Just go to domino's if you want to pay this much for a pizza. Only redeeming factor is the salad bar and that's it. So many better options in the Trafford centre as well just stay clear

20th December 2024 table 46 4.18pm.i waited 20 mins for my dessert, I had to speak to 3 members of staff and the manager before I received it. The manager promised to refund me and I'm still waiting. Shocking service, shocking value for money, avoid!!!

The pizza take 34 minutes to came to us my and my friend and pizza size 9 , £18 each is very small and I order two drinks just come one was really bad experience I’m not recommending this place !!!

Hard to describe that place. Tables and floor a bit dirty. Waiting time for pizza was ok but had to ask 3 times and was waiting 30min to get brownie with ice cream. I do not recommend that place. No pizza hut standards at all.

Was made to feel unwelcome in the store the manager on shift on 19/11/24 in the afternoon at 1pm was RUDE! Make me and my family feel like dirt and not wanted! We have paid our way and a complaint will be made! Avoid this place and that nasty person!

Always loved Pizza Hut but this has really put me off returning to any Pizza Hut. The food tasted absolutely atrocious but due to being starved in the queue waiting for a table we ate it anyway. £2 for extra mushrooms, I was lucky if there was half a mushroom. The waitress seating people didn’t do an amazing job either - left people waiting when the tables that were available full of crap but didn’t help just walked around aimlessly

Perhaps the most expensive and worst tasting pizza I have ever had. What happened to Pizza Hut. I used to love going there but this will be my last visit. The taste was so bland, the 'beef' was an odd orange, crusty colour, all of the toppings with the exception of the pepperoni were tasteless, like they had used frozen toppings that had lost its flavour months ago. £65 for 2 individuals pizzas, a kids meal and an ice cream factory is terrible value when the quality is so poor. We couldn't wait to finish and leave.

Like most Pizza Huts, this one has decent enough food at a decent enough price. Due to the location of this one, it does get busy, but the staff seemed to be able to handle it. One even had time to have a laugh with us while serving. It might not be the greatest restaurant in Manchester, but it's a decent place to stop if you're hungry.

Staff were polite. Were seated promptly. Boxed food for us to take home promptly. Unfortunately the margarita pizza tasted like cardboard and was quite unappetising. Was a little disappointed after running a half marathon and wanting to celebrate my birthday. Never mind.

To all of the people saying greasy pizza.... If you put a load of cheese on anything and cook it, it will sweat... Pepperoni and nduja pizza and it was greasy, well what do you expect 🤣 Karen's everywhere today

Pizza Hut is a bit of a chore now adays. Ordering online is slow. You're asked about tipping before anyone has lifted a finger and any changes etc are painful. I know you can ask for a member of waiting staff but they seemed busy trying not to make eye contact! I had a pizza with pepperoni and nduja which tasted OK but was THE greasiest pizza I've ever eaten. The rest of the food was OK but the service was practically non-existent. The waiting staff don't seem very interested. If it weren't for the appeal the ice cream factory (which is stocked to varying levels depending when you show up) holds for my kids, I'd have given up on Pizza Hut completely by now.

Darren the manager was very rude. Pizza Hut Trafford centre sort your manager out! No customer service skills whatsoever from the manager himself.

First time at Trafford Centre and it was a blast! Came to Pizza Hut and was served by Dug! Absolutely amazing waitressing with food, he ensured that everyone was seated with a well manner, Wrote this review as he deserves a good comment!☺️Go dug!

The service at Pizza Hut by Harriet, was excellent. She truly is a people person with great customer skills. The service given was perfect.

The staff were just disinterested and someone on the door was more preoccupied blowing bubbles at everyone. Ordering is easy which was the only successful part as I did it at the table and online. The catch here is you have to pay upfront for your meal which I wouldn’t have done for the pizza which was put in front of me. The salami was burnt to a crisp and the nduja sausage was non existent. At no point did anyone come to the table and ask if our meal was ok which I would have complained at the time. The only positive is we left pretty quickly as we were so disappointed. Without doubt the worst Pizza Hut experience I’ve ever had and if anyone wants to contact me from Pizza Hut I’d be happy to follow up and accept a refund.

I had lunch on the 10th of August at Pizzahut. We ordered pizza from the app, but we realized we ordered the wrong pizza. They said, dont worry we will refund you the amount, they sent back our order and they said we can make the order again on the app. The manager and one of the waitress said the refund will be on your account in 3 days. Never got the refund. So I paid for 2 orders and got one. I called them and they hanged up on me several times. On the top of that an 11 inch meat feast pizza is £18... Experience was not enjoyable, unfortunately 😕

After the shocking service today I had to change my original review from 5* to 1*. Wasn't even that busy came around 3pm. Waited 15mins for food to come and sides were cold and pizza was undercooked. We ordered 2 deserts, 1 came fairy quickly waited 20mims for the 2nd one to come. They forget we ordered the 2nd desert. 2 staff went by without asking and eventually I spoke to the 3rd. Took a further 10mims to come.

Becca was very nice to us when we arrived and made an extra effort which we really appreciated. She is an incredibly kind person!

Unhealthy mid food in a restaurant full of kids

The worst pizza I’ve ever had. Ordered a thin base, not an extra thin base!! It was overcooked and I was offered a steak knife to cut it!!! Hardly any dairy free cheese on it. Won’t be going back to any PizzaHut again.

Absolutely the worst Pizza Hut I have ever visited. The buffet is restocked with one type of pizza at a time, not exactly a buffet of choice. The salad is so dismal and wasn't replenished whilst we were, it consisted mainly of carrot and beetroot, no lettuce left. Under -staffed, they just wander around saying yes every time I asked for something and I had to ask plenty, then obliged after a long, long time, make sure you have hours to spend waiting and want half an hour gap between each slice of pizza. No welcome at all. I wouldn't visit here again, once in a lifetime is plenty.

Wait time ok, food was undercooked, cheese and garlic bits next to none existent. Ice cream didn't arrive, nor was we asked if we were finished and ready for the desert, this was asked for twice, and the excuse was that they ran out of sauce. Customer service was very lax, and staff didn't seem bothered. I'm not sure if this was due to not giving a tip on the app at payment before food was cooked? Pizzahut quality is not being pushed out to their customers. The price was extortionate and left an even more bitter taste in the mouth. Experience was not enjoyable, unfortunately 😕

Lovely experience at pizza hut today. All staff really friendly and helpful, but Harriet went above and beyond for us when she was able to get an order changed last minute after I'd already put it through, all with a smile on her face. Not all heroes wear capes, thank you for saving the day and my sanity!

Currently eating at the restaurant now. Half way through the ‘pizza’ which is £18 for an 11 inch pepperoni feast??? And the classic sides still haven’t come out. At this rate we’ll be done with our food before they even arrive. There was no cutlery, no glasses, and the salad bar was EMPTY it was also as if people had been scraping the last bits out of the bowls it was so empty. They did fill up the salsa and brought out a bag tortilla chips tho

Didn't eat , my son's birthday due to working wanted to treat him and he picked pizza hut at Trafford after golf.... Name for written down and told to come back was standing for 10-15 minutes staff walking passed really shocked been before... End up at McDonald's cause all the restaurants waiting time longer

This Pizza Hut in Trafford is always good, but today was EXTRA special, due to Caitlin, her customer service was beyond measure, in that she really did go above and beyond, we ordered the new sizzler (v) however it was extremely spicy, Caitlin offered a new pizza without us even suggesting it!!! That’s what you call service, she was amazing!!! She also offered a dessert, extremely kind and very hospitable, best customer service I have ever seen in an eatery!!!

Excellent service and delicious food for our forty Year 6 pupils once again! Thank you so much to Gill and her team of brilliant staff who looked after us so well and made our end of year visit a real treat.

Perfect after shopping or before the cinema. Trafford centre and the food court is soooo busy so coming in here you can get away from the crowds and feel like you have space and relax. Some super friendly staff too! Thanks Gill for all your help on our last visit!

I visited with my family on Monday evening & can’t fault the food or service! Many thanks to Caitlin who went out of her way for us, will definitely visit the Trafford branch again.

The restaurant wasn’t open until 11:20am (not 11am as advertised) & we didn’t start getting pizza until around 11:40ish - add to that when the pizza did come out, there was no serving spatulas meaning we nearly burnt our hands getting the pizza - staff were either busy chatting to each other or standing around doing nothing

The kids menu food portions and price, kids colouring activities, the salad bar and the ice cream factory are all highlights. We have been twice this month as I had to take my daughter to 2x hospital appointments. Each time we visited a lovely waiter called Doug found us a quiet table for my neurodiverse daughter to feel settled. We will be back again in the future as this is now her favourite place to eat out! Many thanks to Doug and the staff at Pizza Hut, Trafford Centre.

Today experience was a bit upsetting. Sat down and Ordered around 8:20pm. Pizza was great but sadly the dessert didn’t came. We waited for around 30mins for the dessert and never came and we left 9:35 we asked the server twice but never heard anything more. Cant be bothered to ask for the 3rd time. So we left sadly without getting the dessert. To be honest how long does it take to make a cookie dough? With 1 scoop of ice cream? As a Pizza Hut. Should do better please. And today was no excuses there are only few customers. Never expect me and my partner to come back ever again but maybe until next year it will improved

My husband took me to Trafford centre as a treat as I have been really poorly for past year. We went to Pizza Hut to eat. Loads of staff stood around doing nothing, had to order via QR code and when food came it was so greasy we couldn’t eat it. Really disappointed and we won’t be going back.

Went with family and was served by Larna (what a gem) who sorted our order perfectly and smoothly and was so helpful with advice and was very helpful when we changed our dine-in order into a takeaway due to something cropping up and Larna, under the fine leadership of Becca, liaised with kitchen and without impacting the order of other customers expedited our order and we were on our way out with all of our food nicely packed. Thanks Larna and Becca. Pizza Hut should recognise your hard work and brilliant customer service. We will be back.

First time at Pizza Hut, ordered the buffet for £21.99, all you can eat pizza, salad and ice cream. Excellent value for money, the service was superb, scan the QR code on the table to pay and off you go to get your food. I highly recommend the pepperoni pizza, so tasty. The salad range is huge and the ice cream is so tasty. You won’t be disappointed.
