Maybe I've only had good experiences but I don't see what everyone's issue with this place is. I've come in at all hours of the morning, mid-essay, post-pub, you name it, and have only ever been greeted with a smile and decent food. A little pricey for what you get but it's sale, what do you expect. I like the spicy wings and the gravy is lovely - chicken shop does its job with good service.

Below average. Cheap burger bun was breaking and hard wings low quality. …. I gave 2 stars , now it’s 1 after reading owner reply such a cheap person instead of bettering his food he is shaming in customers. Take ur non african battery less chicken bun and chicken throw in garbage . Because it’s right place for them. Mr Cry-a-lot dumb sir 😂😂

Not only is the food & service here terrible, after eating in it i see the owner on Instagram fat shaming & making jokes about a dead man who was obese. Absolutely disgusting, just like their food. **My reply to owner** If you actually read my review properly you'll see my review is about the food & service, then I continue to say how you are on social media. I have actually been unlucky enough to eat in your premises over a month ago. I was over there working (we do have these things called aeroplanes, people get in them & it flies them over the water) the food was terrible, I just never got around to leaving a review, until I seen your page show up on Instagram under the post I talked about. So it reminded me to leave the review you deserve.

Good tast . but too much oily in chicken.

The food is ok and the staff are lovely. I always leave with a smile on my face. My only thing is how small the burgers are for the same price if not more than other shops are selling. Its like half the size of a normal burger so technically food too expensive. What ashame. This would have been my go to place. Thanks for your response but bloody ek it's just a chicken burger mate what are you on about premium chicken blah blah blah. Plus I saw another post about the state of those chicken wings are they not premium no? Lol and yes I've taken your advice Deluxe Chicken has opened a few shops down. I'll go there. Cheers 🍻

THE FOOD IS SO SALTY ITS UNBELIEVABLE!!! Inedible!!! If you want food that’s dipped into the saltiest seven seas go to this place !!

The delivery guy and manager were incredibly rude and uncooperative. The delivery person refused to bring my £10-15 parcel to the main door, despite my extra payment. Despite being unwell, he arrogantly insisted I cancel the order because he didn't want to walk to the main door, just a minute away from the car park. When I contacted the restaurant, the manager falsely claimed the food was left at the car park and suggested I try my luck with Just Eat for a refund. Their disrespectful communication is beyond belief. It's outrageous that businesses like theirs, relying on a few good reviews, are permitted to operate in the UK.

They scamed me while using my card, paid for a meal of 10 pounds and they charged me 30 pounds, check your receipt after paying. SCAMMERS

Bought 8 chicken pieces deal for £16. The breast and wing pieces had been cut into half so it's actually 4 chicken pieces and two chips and gravy for £16. Leg piece was not half cut. Not value for money.

Do not recommend anyone eating from this establishment, I ordered the variety box and got a rotten chicken wing. I went back to the shop ask to speak to a manager he wasn’t there so I asked for a refund and the guy starting kicking off trying to justify I ate some of the chicken and chips before I noticed the wing. Stay away from this place!

Excellent. This place uses proper chicken, unlike the tiny sparrows used in the big chain (we see you, Colonel). Extra points for peri peri option too. Make sure you request 'red salt' on your chips. Extra points too for the old school "whole meal in one box" approach (none of this five-greasy-paper-bags nonsense, thank you). Only slight negatives are limited seating (bar style only) and all drinks are cans. But you didn't come here for the drinks and tables, did you? (And if you need more pop there are convenient suppliers nearby)

Absolute terrible service, if I hadn't paid through PayPal the manager was refusing to refund me at all costs, do not pay by visa they will take your money without delivery no doubt, credit card or PayPal only, shame it used to be a good shop before new owners, be wary.

I couldn’t recommend this place in any level. Awful ‘food’. Cheap muck really. It’s been 7 years since I last ate from this chicken place and it wasn’t my choice then or now. I can wait another 70 years but never again. As with the last time I tried a bit of the food but I didn’t enjoy it. I stayed hungry as I tried and failed to get my head round why anyone, especially very wealthy folks, would knowingly feed this disgusting stuff to their kids or themselves let alone pay money for it but all was devoured - cold chips, cheap chicken, flabby skin, sinew and batter. The so called chips were limp and stone cold within 5/6 minutes of being served and were truly grim to eat. I took three, all cold, all limp/flaccid and one was raw. They all tasted unpleasant. I wanted to spit them out. It’s a takeaway place with all the ambience of a tyre depot with low paid, low morale staff doing their best to be polite and welcoming.

Absolutely shocking service. Firstly, took nearly two hours for them to attempt a delivery. Then an extremely rude driver tried to tell me that the postcode was incorrect (not true, it's been here forever) Just because he didn't want to deliver. Called the restaurant to basically get told tough, too busy and then have the phone put down on me. They now won't answer my calls or deliveroos calls. I would avoid like wildfire, there's a reason their reviews are so low.

Ordered food at 8:15pm, called at 9:30pm for an update and said it’s just left the shop. Called again at 10pm to be told it’s been left outside the door a long time ago because there was no answer even though nobody had been and no food left. Asked for an explanation and they said to take it up with Just Eat. Really disappointing as we have used them many times before and they wouldn’t have a normal conversation over the phone about what had happened.

My husband and I had been looking forward to chicken and chips all week and we were not disappointed. Couldn't believe how quick it arrived considering we are 2 miles away Food was so hot we had to wait for it to cool down Order was exactly as ordered and as always food was fantastic.

Order £36 pound worth of food only got someone else’s veggie burger and pop corn chicken guy on the phone said mine will come soon but I never come, couldn’t get a refund either

Went in Friday they forgot my hot wings fair enough went back the next day to ask and got told i didn't even vist the shop another lost customer

I ordered from here asked for peri peri burger meal didn’t get any chips with it then we ask for an extra can and didn’t get it then when questioned the driver about it they threatened to ring the police for harassment

Decent food, always get the order right. Order direct, alot cheaper than just eat and deliveroo - a few extra quid added to prices to cover charges for those services.

They charged for delivery and were waiting on a different street. Apparently they don't deliver to flats because I quote the delivery guy who apparently is also the manager said" white people stab delivery drivers" . And that is one of the most racist things I've heard anyone say. Called them up and their staff defended the delivery guys attitude and racist behaviour.

We use Flamin Chicken in Sale about one a month, always well pleased with quality of food and the friendly staff behind the counter. Just wish they’d have something different than gravy or bland baked beans to accompany the food, curry sauce for example!!

My fave fried chicken parlour. Great choice, great food with a much tastier coating than other nearby chicken takeaways. Parking can be a pain as it's limited and all the wrong way round (on a side street off the main road with a co-op car park and a no entry sign just past it)

Absolutely disgusting understanding on phone, they cut me off, coz they said minimum of £10 spend, when I was told no minimum spend, had 2 phone back again, only for person on the end of the phone to start arguing with me. First time I tried 2 use them and never again! Be warned don't trust them, coz all I wanted was 2 pice chicken and chips, they wanted £10 plus probably what just eat add £4 as well. Place an absolute joke, rip off, and totally ignorent staff..

Tried to short change my handicapped friend for£10. Gave it me back without argument...guilty !! Never going there again and will tell everyone

Fully burned chicken delivered once and when complained, very rudely denied to pay back. It was good earlier but nowadays they provide horrible food and poor service. Please stay away.

Ordered 5 peri burgers and a kids nugget meal today. Food arrived within half an hour, was very tasty and warm. Would highly recommend flamin chicken.

Food is sick and it takes like 7 mins to arrive if u order. So good when ur hammered or late at night this is so peng. always give u free garlic mayo when u ask as well legends

The most sumptuous chicken, delicately dipped in a delectable range of herbs and spices. The colonel would shake in his boots if he ever came across this fine establishment. I sense big things coming in the water for this place. Watch this space... 😏😘

Friendly staff, prefer the food better to KFC - you don't get that rank, greasy feeling from here that you get from KFC.

Good food (and better than KFC)

Ordered 2 hot and spicy chicken fillet burgers and a normal chicken fillet burger. Nothing hot and spicy about the burgers, just tasted like the normal chicken fillet burger. Fries was cold. Will NOT be ordering from use again

After an hour wait for a local delivery chicken tasted like it had been cooked for 3 hours on high heat. Couldn’t even chew it and Completely Inedible! Ended up eating a meal of chips of gravy! AVOID! So many better places to chose from

I've been popping into the Flamin Chicken when hunger bites for couple of years now. The best tasting chicken in Sale. Chicken sandwich with lettuce and mayo a fav. Always fresh with friendly staff.

Chicken had black in middle due to bein frozen for a long time chicken was cooked perfect but meat quality disgusting really gone down hill would be perfect if you bought decent quality meat my advice is change suplier or spend slightly more on better quality meats and stop being greedy with your profits!

Usually a good place, the reason I gave it 3 stars is due to a new staff member they have hired who can barely speak English so trying to order a meal was a frustrating experience and after that I got home and the order was wrong !! I won't be going back anytime soon until the staff learn to speak the English language.

The finest fried chicken in the North West, with gravy to die for. Treat yourself, you will never eat KFC again. I cannot reccomend highly enough.

I had exceptional circumstances and asked for delivery to be fast and it was very quick. The food was exactly what i asked for well cooked and is totally fit to be compared allens and kfc. Thank you for being open and decent at gone 12am. Absolute life saver. From this experience i would totally recommend.

Ordered my meal and they replaced one of the items with chips! Rang and their reply was 'we are busy' also put mayo on the burger when this was never requested and i cannot eat mayo!

Watched one of their workers urinate round the back of the shop where they store food. Also whitnessed another worker there pick up drugs from a dealer. Can't comment on the food as I haven't been there since it changed from Allen's fried chicken but after seeing what I've seen, I wouldn't bother anyway!

Ok so there was a fly in my burger so I complained they didn’t do anything told me to come to the store to prove it , I just ordered food and they said I can’t have any because of the last time I ordered and hung up, All because there was a fly in my burger ! I eat here about once a fortnight as I work close and often very late and get to flagging and need sustenance. The staff are lovely, always friendly and service is very good. I think the food is generally better than KFC. I usually buy the hot wings meal and I get the popcorn chicken for my kids sometimes. Gravy is nice too. Tonight I even got a complimentary delivery. Can't say enough good.

Been here many times now, the food and service is great every time and the new seating area makes it a great place to hang out and get something to eat. I would definitely recommend everyone to give it a try if in the area

We are regular customers here and love love LOVE the food, my dad ordered food before whilst I was at work from here but unfortunately fell asleep and missed the delivery :( but after a phone call they went out of their way at this time of night to come back with his food, we even said we didn't care if it was cold because of the inconvinience. It came within about 5 mins and the food was red hot! Brilliant food and brilliant customer service, you made an old man happy tonight hehe

Ordered, delivery told Around 35 mins.... not, delivery actually over an hour, called twice, asking where delivery was, both times, on the way to you, felt really sorry for the delivery guy, turned up, told cancelled delivery, guy said so u don’t want it..... hmmm no.Funniest thing is, if you go down there and get it fresh it’s really nice.Allen’s: Sort your delivery out or don’t bother, your killing yourselves.

One of the best places to get fried chicken. Quality pieces of chicken with a good amount of meat, always nice and moist and fresh. The hot wings are great. Reasonably priced and the meal deals are good value. Service is a good standard
