Pizza Hut in Stoke-on-Trent

Disappointing. Pizza hut is losing its touch. Salad bar was virtually empty of food and the pizzas were no way near as good as they used to be. There was at least an inch of edge with nothing on it. It was also dry and almost inedible. The toppings on the pizza were lacking and the base was covered in a strange dusting of flour that was like grainy bits. No way near the pizzas of the past. I miss the pizza I always used to order and love. Orders were slow to arrive but deals were good value for money. I'd be reluctant to return.

Went for lunch buffet. Salad bar was well stocked and easily accessible. Pizza buffet was mostly empty which was a shame.. not a lot of choice for pizza.

Being asked to order your meal before you can have a drink is disgusting. And then once the meal was ordered being approached whilst eating the salad bar items to pay in advance, interrupting conversation was also disgusting. Food was nice but all we were told this is policy, sorry. For how expensive it is management should be ashamed as we did not appreciate this at all. And we did express our feelings, however 'it is policy' and it was required stated yet again. Staff members serving were fantastic and one felt nervous asking. Very obvious and that would make it a horrible place to work.

Went for lunch,was told as soon as we arrived that it was card payment only.No explanation given. I may be old fashioned but I still use cash and expect to be able to use it.Luckily my husband was with me and he paid by card.

Lovely service, perfectly cooked pizza, well stocked and fresh salad bar. Staff were attentive and informative! Impressed!

Nearly cold when it arrived. The driver had the top of his bag open letting heat out.

Overpriced and not good quality pizza. The cheese bites around side of pizza had hardly any cheese in and too spaced out making pizza look weird and the pizza base was so thin.awful for the price don't recommend and the mayo sauces were cheap and nasty

Staff went beyond to help and reassure everyone was happy. The manager was great. The restaurant itself was freezing, a good £160 was spent by our table of 8 yet we ate in our coats and Jackets which I don't find fair, the manager did try and solve this and this doesn't reflect on the staff but the overall business and probably a reason it was very quiet and miserable in there. Very expensive food and it really isn't all that. Vegan options were very limited. The children's refillable juice was awful and my 2 refused to drink any of it. We won't be visiting again sadly.

Very busy, told there were no tables free so had to use the takeaway. The food was very good though.

Made a reservation for 6 pm for my family of 6, arrived on time, there was another family at our table still despite being asked to leave numerous times, they just sat there with their coats on talking. Got to our table after nearly 20 minutes, food was mediocre, pizza was quite dry barely any sauce. Our server was very slow and not very attentive, too busy talking to the other member of staff. He wasn't around when we were ready to order deserts, had to ask where he was then decided to tell me it was one bowl of ice crram per person- when infact i was getting my daughters ice cream... weren't given any spoons. Really noisy as there was a teenagers party next to us. Overpriced -average food. Won't be returning

Booked table for 6. Table wasn't free. Waited 20 minutes to get to a table which the bench was filthy. Server was useless. Sat waiting for him while he spoke to his colleague at the bar. Had to get his colleague to get his attention. Food was mediocre. Group of girls with one set of parents who screamed constantly for an hour solid. Expensive and bang average. I will stick to Neelam valley in bucknall next time. 105 pound for 6. What a waste of money. Won't be going again.

Overall nothing special standard box service cleanliness needs to be improved, the food needs wow fact ! Too expensive 🫰

Ordered a takeaway pizza from here, using the app, it was a very easy process, and order was ready 15-20mins. Very nice and clean outlet, and the staff very friendly and polite. First time used this outlet and well pleased with the experience. Will highly recommend and use again in the future.

Never ate there Pizza Hut rule card only if my cash is not good enough I will not bother

Totally dissappointed with the takeaway we received at the weekend. The two pizzas were low on flavour and taste. The Supreme was especially disappointing, given it's supposed to be an iconic pizza for Pizza Hut. It seems that Pizza Hut have cut down on the toppings and the standard of it's toppings. I won't be getting a take away again.

I told the delivery man the location was wrong but he did not listen now my money is wasted your app is so bad am don with you guys you Keep on disappointing me

Really disappointed with our visit this evening. The restaurant was cold. People were sitting eating with coats on, we were told the heating was broken, but they still left the main entrance door open! When being served hot drinks, the drinks were served over and in reach of our toddler. They then tried to serve the hot food over him too. For context we are a family of 5, we were sat on a table for 6 and our toddler was seated in a high chair at the end of the table. We left the end table free so they could serve food safely. We advised we had tried to book a table online and couldn't. They told us they had to turn it off as they were too busy. The place was empty and lacked any form of atmosphere. We used to visit this branch regularly as it was our kids favourite place to eat. We have had so many good time here and really disappointed by this latest visit.

Taken kids to have some lunch at the stoke on Trent branch we normally go to our local Pizza Hut in Yorkshire ordered kids buffet and one large mac and cheese one of the worker came up to my 9 year daughter and told her she can’t touch her brothers food which he left and told her to finish it off which I didn’t want to bin as it’s wasting food because my daughter ordered Mac and cheese she came and goes she can’t have this as she will be charged funny thing is she jus finishing her brothers left overs the worker who came over her dad don’t own Pizza Hut i will not be going back as my local pizza don’t act like that nave had them come over my table and act like so weird she made my 9 year scared after she walked away my daughter didn’t know what to do if she finishing her brothers pizza she should not have a issue as it’s got my sons germs on but think she was too hungry herself that’s why she came up to her Pizza Hut pls feed your collages because ur taking the mick if a kids finishing there siblings left overs don’t get a hype over this!!

Food was missing and when contacted Pizza Hut I was told to contact just eat as it’s a mistake by the driver and I would need to clam a refund. So slightly disappointed as we didn’t get all food we ordered.

Our first visit for a long time, and well worth the wait ! Greeted on arrival by Charlotte, who showed us to our reserved table, with its VIPP Reserved sign, this was a very personal dining experience. With the option to order directly off our phone at the table, via QR code, or order in person (from our wonderful waitress Alisha) we went old school and ordered from Alisha. With many pizza, pasta and side offerings, each supported by a multi-buy offer, our needs were met with options to spare ! A salad bar option with every main course meant we could start with salad and bottomless soft drinks whilst the pizzas were hand made in the visible kitchen area. Only minutes later, our personalised pizzas arrived, piping hot and very well presented. The staff were very attentive, answering all our questions and checking our meals were ok. Jacob helped clear our table, and provide boxes for the pizza and fries we couldn’t manage, so no food went to waste ! What a wonderful meal, served by great, enthusiastic staff, in a clean and contemporary environment. All other diners seemed happy and content, which is a sign of great customer service. We will return soon and try the new Christmas menu offers ! Thank you !

Great good, excellent service Value for money if you order the all u can eat lunch buffet

Called in here on spec yesterday( Tues 12th november) we had 3 sides and a sharing pizza. It was then explained by Carole that we could have 2 unlimited salad bowls. The food was delicious. We were welcomed by the friendly man who was on duty and told we could sit anywhere. Special mention has to go to Carole who took our order and made sure we were happy with everything. She was so warm and friendly and definitely an asset to the pizza hut team. Thankyou for an enjoyable couple of hours. I would definitely recommend.

Excellent experience today, our server Carol made our visit. From the greeting on arrival, checking on us during our meal and saying goodbye to us when we left. We had the lunchtime buffet, salad bar was a very good selection. Pizza selection was great especially the cheesy garlic sticks Will definitely visit again, hopefully will see Carol again

I can’t remember the last time I walked into a restaurant and the customer services was as good as it was given here , got to give to all the staff in on Sunday, especially Aleesha she was absolutely brilliant with us and the boys and really understood our personal issues. She deserves a promotion, would also like to give recognition to the lovely man who didn’t have an ice pack but went out his way to make us one. All the staff was really friendly also would recommend going here.

What can be said about pizzahut today? A shadow of its former self. A number of years ago, pizzahut was the place to go with the fam for a meal out. Our experience was "meh" at best, order everything online and the only staff interaction we had was being told order yourself (they took too long for table service) and dropping off of cups/bowls. The food was not good, the pizza on the buffet was hot but that was its only good feature. It's just not as good as it used to be. The salad bar is terrible not only but also children using hands to get items from the salad bar. Ice cream was really good. Price wise, it was ok value. The children actually enjoyed it, but the adults in the party didn't. If they threw in meat feast with stuffed crust on the buffet we may have had a different review. Overall, I wouldn't really recommend it. Our local takeaway does better pizza and cheaper...

Slightly disappointed as I couldn’t swap salad for a dessert for my 6 YO son. We come here all the time and will not be back

We were taken to our table very quickly , and saw the menu. We could not use the online ordering service because we are not tec savy, so one of the waiters came and took our order. Then came with the bill, which my husband paid. Our pizza was lovely, and as we ordered a sharing size, we were all able to visit the salad bar to help ourselves from it.

Ordered to takeaway today and the service we recieved was brilliant. The lady on the takeaway desk was so lovely and friendly, she's an absolute credit to Pizza Hut. When arrived, food was ready for collection, piping hot and tasted delicious. My family shall definitely be coming again, but this time sitting in the restaurant. Fully recommend.

Exactly what you'd expect at a Pizza hut all you can eat buffet. Replacement pizza was prompt, rotated toppings so never the same. Great experience. Lots of families as in summer hols & at weekend so quite noisy.

Went in for a spontaneous buffet lunch with the family. Lots of options and pizzas were regularly replenished. Staff were great.

I dont do pizza 🙄 my daughter does, she said pizza was awesome, i loved the salad, unlimited Pepsi max.

Something about Pizza hut, eat in and it's delicious. Get a delivery and it's not so good! I had the chicken wings, delicious if slightly on the salty side. The pizza was gorgeous, stuffed crust should be standard! My friends garlic bread was a bit anaemic but that's a stretch. The salad bar was fresh, only thing that disappointed me was no vinaigrette that day. I saw them temperature probing stuff as well, so hygiene is on point. The staff were awesome, despite needing to order via a link, they were attentive and so nice, all smiles and enthusiasm ❤️ The atmosphere is interesting, it feels empty in there somehow even though it was packed? Maybe I'm biased as I was a pizza hut devotee in the 90's and it was amazing. Nicely air conditioned though!

We haven't been to Pzza Hut for a while so it was good to get back. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Food was tasty and the 'offers' were worth it. We didn't eat our puddings so they kindly put them in take away boxes. Recommended

Stood waiting 5 minutes to be seated staff kept walking past ignoring us and serving the takeaway hatch. Poor customer service.

35 mins late. After the website redesign the house number's got lost from the saved address so the driver didn't know where to go.

Expensive for what it is and it's looking a tad tired on the outside.

Decent, buffett all in an absolute bargain

My wife and I had a fantastic experience here. My wife has celiac disease which makes going out quite difficult and stressful. Here however, they have a comprehensive allergy guide and the staff were extremely helpful and knowledgeable. They were able to get her salad from the kitchen rather than the salad bar to help reduce the risk of contamination from gluten. The allergy guide also had a column for cereals containing more the 20ppm of gluten. Everything was prepared with care to prevent contamination and my wife had no reaction. Food tasted great as well! Overall we were very impressed and will add this to our list of celiac/coeliac safe restaurants we can go to!

Excellent service. Nothing too much trouble. I ordered incorrectly and they were happy to change it even though it had been cooked and was my fault. My granddaughter was given an extra pizza as they had cut the first one off centre. Highly recommend

Disgusting behavior from the manager here, walked in greeted with shouting to wait in waiting area, embarrassed me and my family in the middle of restaurant. Will never go to a Pizza Hut again.

Staff here were great with us with small kids. Great Value for money, taste and convenience. Pizza hut works well as last minute, mid-week treat for us as a family. Quick, easy, fun and home before kids' bedtime.

What has happened to Pizza hut!!! the salad quality is exceptionally poor now and the pizzas have hardly any topping and the cost are so high! There are many places that provide far better pizzas at much better value. The service was good and unfortunately that is about the only thing. Not good food, not good value at all and certainly would not recommend.

Unfortunately the takeaway we had last night was terrible. The meat one we had was more like a frozen one from Tesco, the garlic bread had no flavour and the onion rings were soggy. What a waste of £30

Decent option for a late lunch all you can east buffet. Salad bar decent, option of adding I've cream and drinks for £5 adults, £2 kids is good. Plenty of pizza coming out but toppings a little sparse. Pasta a good secondary option though. Overall very decent

I ordered some food via ubereats and unfortunately they delivered the wrong order. I went down to the restaurant, who advised that the driver had picked up the wrong one. They were very apologetic but sorted out our order there and then (even let us have some salad whilst we were waiting). Food was freshly cooked and tasted wonderful! I know most people don't write reviews to do anything but complain, me included - but I also like to spotlight great service when i see it! Great place and the staff are very friendly.

Food was hot and good selection of pizza. Staff were very friendly and could offer more help. Only thing is they need to add a vinaigrette on the salad bar and toffee sauce on the icecream

How do you forget an entire pizza from my order?

Collection and delivery time kept getting pushed back and back, when the driver did finally deliver he had multiple orders from different establishments in his bag so it’s unsurprising this is the case if that’s how things are working now. A shame as the food probably would have been quite nice if I’d received it when it was hot and fresh. Not really very good customer service.

Driver decide best way to deliver my food is to leave the boxes on the ground. I actually have a bench next to my door which would be better idea, but somehow ground it is
