Pizza Hut in Cardiff

Completely disappointed with our experience here. We went for dinner at 9, the restaurant shuts at 10, and we were greeted unwelcoming at the door. They asked us to hurry up more than once and despite paying for unlimited salad bar, the salad was packed away at 9:20. As three young girls I feel that we were overlooked on our business and will never be returning here. Food was okay but evidently delivered at different intervals to quicken our exit. Waitress was okay. The manager was rude and ungrateful and I could not recommend this place any less. To top everything off the ketchup exploded on me at the table as it was full of water. Not a great way for three students to spend £50!!

Hadn't been here for years but fancied pizza so my Wife and I decided to pop in. We have a Tastecard, which is accepted here and therefore would save us some money!We were greeted warmly by Adam who seated us, gave us menus and explained all options to us with enthusiasm and a smile on his face. Throughout our visit, he was extremely friendly and courteous, and seemed like a guy who enjoys his job and is keen to make customers enjoy their visit. You can't ask for more from a member of staff, and I speak as someone who works in the same industry myself.Adam is a credit to the profession and to the company and we both felt he had made our visit extremely enjoyable. Oh, and the food, and more varied soft drinks selection than most places, was very nice indeed!We will certainly be visiting again on our next visit to Cardiff.

Absolutely disgusting. From first walking into the toilets that looked like they had faeces growing on the walls to being sat at the table being asked to use the app for ordering in a place with terrible WiFi and null signal, it was appalling. Since leaving we have all left with different stomach issues, there was a hair in the chips but the staff were so sparse we couldn’t complain let alone the pizzas being barely cooked with the cat food chicken toppings and texture of a frozen pizza, save your money with a cheap frozen pizza from the shop! Salad bar was empty, we didn’t even know we could walk up to the unlimited drinks and help ourselves after purchasing. Wouldn’t recommended and stay clear! Not even the homeless touched our left overs. Eat at your own risk.

Earlier this year I took my nephew's to The National Museum of Cardiff for a few hours. After the museum the boys chose to eat at Pizza Hut on Queen Street. We were greeted by a friendly waitress who cleaned the table before we were seated. The children opted for pepperoni and margarita pizzas with a side of garlic bread and chips. The food arrived quickly, was cooked perfectly and tasted great. For dessert we had ice cream. The meal was value for money especially as the children ate it all. Once we finished eating we finished the day with some shopping at the many shopping centres, indoor market and arcades

Lovely pizza which was quick and hot. Friendly staff. There was a baby that kept screaming which was a bit annoying at times but otherwise okay.

Super lunch, service was A1, staff worked so hard and are polite and helpful. Thank you for a great experience!!

Ordered a pizza. Cookie dough & sides The pizza came eventually stuck to the roof of the pizza box and had been drenched where the Uber driver didn’t bother to close his bag when bringing the food to the house and probably from the restaurant, it was raining so badly too.. contacted Uber and they didn’t do anything but spoke to Pizza Hut themselves and even tho it wasn’t there fault. I had the manager John give me my same order and sorted it all out while Uber just don’t even reply to you. 5star for Pizza Hut. -1 star for Uber

Read alot of nevative reviews prior to my visit however had a gift card so order a pizza anyway. Veggie supreme pizza was ordered to share and was thoroughly enjoyed. Not only was the service brilliant when collecting but the pizza was very delicious.(plus not greasy and full of cheese like other reviews say) - -see picture! Thank you very much :) will reccomend!!

Walked in place wasn't too busy. Most tables has dirty crockery on. Shown to a table that had some kind of sauce over the seats. Shown to another one. Went to get a bowl for the salad which was rank. The first bowl had mayo all over the bottom. Had to go through 5 more bowls to find a clean one.Pizza was greasy and soggy.Unless you want to catch anything I'd stay away from here. Completely minging.

Took a group of 25 school pupils here today. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. From point of booking, they could not have been more helpful! Pupils really enjoyed it, and were definitely full up for the 2 hour drive home!The manager and the gentleman who was serving us (sorry I didn’t get their names) were just brilliant!!

Not been to a Pizza Hut for years, so forced ourselves to come in for an early dinner. The pizza tasted good and I’ve always liked the salad cart, but really couldn’t get over how expensive it was.I assume there are vouchers available to make it more palatable, but if that is the case, why not just bring the menu price down. Can guarantee we won’t be back for a long time.

Not had a pizza hut meal for years. Wow this place has really changed for the good. Had an amazing 11 inch loaded crust pizza. I can definitely recommend that you try them they are worth it now.

Been here a few times now and John is amazing! You need staff to cover the restaurant! He can’t cope on his own! Food and service is great but is great but I think the manager needs an extra pair of hands outside.

Popped in for a family treat. I'd seen the "feed the family for £40" advert. It was brilliant. There's a new ordering system; pay at the till, which stream lines the process. The meal deal was a bargain!! The real treat was Jordan D who was manning the fort solo and absolutely nailing it, a credit to the company :)) :))

Went to Pizza Hut for the lunch buffet in a group of 7. service was good but the good was average nothing special but not really bad just average. The buffet was a good price of around £7 each and offered unlimited pizza salad and two different pastas. However we would not go back again just because it was so underwhelming.

He estado en este Pizza Hut dos veces y cada vez fue muy mal servicio. La primera vez que el servicio fue lento, pero de todos modos estaba ocupado, así que pensé que les daría el beneficio de la duda en este caso, pero cuando fui por segunda vez, arruinaron mi pedido y me dieron una pizza completamente diferente que ordené. Sin embargo, finalmente me dieron una pizza correcta, pero solo lograron unas cuantas rodajas ya que estaba demasiado llena después de comer la otra ya que tenía hambre después de un largo viaje en tren desde mi viaje a Bournemouth. He estado yendo a Pizza Hut durante muchos años y este es sin duda el peor que he visitado. Nunca volveré de nuevo.

This restaurant is near castle and in Basement. Women manage this restaurant and Good hosts. We wanted Glutten free vegetarian Pizza & they prepared as per our requirements. The vegetables salad is served free & unlimited.

Stopped in for a quick bite to eat on a family day out, food was decent and service quick. Service was what you expect walking into any pizza hut and the place was. Clean and tidy.

Fancied taking pizza back to our hotel and stumbled across this place. Fairly busy with a few groups in whilst we waited. Decent deal to take away included two large pizzas and two sides for about £23 I think. Got a Hawaiian, meat feast, cheese bites and onion rings with dips. All very good, fresh and tasty

We visited at 7pm on a Saturday, just 2 of us. We weren't greeted and took it upon ourselves to find a table. Here you order at the bar and help yourselves to cutlery etc.

Although there are plenty of independent and boutique pizza restaurants in Cardiff, we called in here due to time constraints and were pleasantly surprised.

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on a friday at about 2pm and although it was busy we got a table and stuffed our faces. We paid £6.99 each for their lunchtime all you can eat buffet and werent disappointed, the pizzas were delicious with a good variety. The salad bar was plentiful and the pasta was good too. We both had the refilable soft drinks which came to £5 something so wasn't very reasonable all round. We definately got our moneys worth. Given how busy they were and having an all male staff the place was kept clean and tidy. And the fact you pay before you eat meant that we weren't waiting around for the bill and could leave as soon as we wanted. I hope it is as good the next time we visit.

Visited on a break of lecture in Cardiff food was appalling barely cooked chicken on pizza and glasses were unclean the place wasnt busy as still waited over 40mins for uncooked pizza

Seated quickly but didn’t get any information on special offers or the buffet option. After food we asked for a Double espresso and the reply of the waiter was ‘we can’t do a double espresso’. Felt like the waiter was unprofessional as he was stood behind the counter eating pizza and drinking coke in front of everyone. At least go out of sight.. when cleared of our plates were snatched from in front of us.

Before going to the hospital my wife & me decided to have the buffet for £6.99, great value, the pizzas were lovely, & how can you beat the unlimited salad, the staff were very friendly, we enjoyed the food and will be back.

Done a few pizza huts in my time. Never been a massive fan, but this isnthe best ive been to. Staff all really helpful, which is probably due to the manager being very helpful. Service was the best. Pizza also very good. Highly recommended.

My wife and I were looking for a decent restaurant to have a pizza before going to an Ed Sheeran concert in Cardiff on a Friday night.

I arrived here after trouble with my mobile forced me to buy a new one not knowing how things worked in a foreign country. My wife and I entered just to refresh ourselves with something to eat and drink. A young manager met us at the door and somehow felt that I was troubled. He took our order and then led us to a table where he askes us from where we came and common questions one asks when he sees a foreigner. I told him what the matter was and taking my new mobile he did his best to find what the matter was. For this I wish to thank him but I don't know his name.

First time at this particular Hut, and probably the last to be honest :( On arrival it seemed ok but a little drab, after being seated although the tables appeared clean they were "sticky". Ordered 2 pizzas and a macaroni cheese as well as drinks. to be fair the ordered food was ok, not amazing but ok, the salad however was very bland and my tortillas were soggy as if they had been there all day...they weren't eaten. The staff, to be fair, were helpful and polite so no real complaints with them.

We were in Cardiff to see Tokio Myers and wanted something quick and easy to eat breforhand so hubby suggested Pizza Hut as we were just walking past. The restaurant is downstairs so couldn't see inside, always a bit wary of eateries you can't see but shouldn't have worried, it was great. The guy who was taking orders and serving was lovely. Helpful, so friendly, he was great! He made the visit , the food was great, pizza arrived quickly, even tho a party of 5 had just placed an order before us. Great little venue.

Really helpful pleasant staff, working really hard to keep food comming hot and cleaning up after customers with a smile and acknowledgement to all. Couldnt fault them or the food. Would have given 5 stars but alot of steps to get in/out of restaurant can make it difficult for people with mobility problems. Definitely return here.

We had to wait to be seated for a long time as the restaurant was very busy. And service was a little slow. Buffet was decent but could do with more choice. The children did enjoy so that was a plus!

Although I haven't eaten at a Pizza Hut for many years, I had always enjoyed their food in the past and so having gone into Cardiff city centre today, I thought I would pay a visit and see whether things had changed. Sadly, things have changed and not for the best either.

The service that we received was amazing! All requests were served with a smile! It was very busy yet we still felt welcome! However our pizzas were extremely tasteless! Which is shocking as a high standard is expected when at Pizza Hut! I have had better pizza in chippy alley ( not a complement) my other half had the pizza with two chillies next to it and there was 0 taste! This is after we paid extra for a 3 cheese blend so it should’ve had more taste! There was also barely any sause! It made us so upset becuase we are both avid pizza lovers! The salad was also empty the whole time :/ Maybe it was an off day! But it will be a long while before I go there again! ... good service tho, thank you for at least having lovely staff!!

First time visiting this Pizza Hut and unfortunately will be the last. It started off positive when we walked in and were greeted and seated relatively quickly. However, it went downhill from there...we decided to order off the Christmas deal menu which included a starter, a pizza and a drink. Me and my partner decided to have bbq chicken wings for starters and when they arrived, there wasn’t an ounce of bbq on them. They were soft however were extremely bland, that said for my partners pizza also. Whilst still eating our starters, one of the waitresses brought over our pizzas and plonked them on the table after clearly seeing that we hadn’t finished our starters. We also ordered a side of fries which were very undercooked and cost nearly £4, biggest regret of £4 I’ve ever spent. Whilst sitting on a small table for 2, our dishes mounted as she couldn’t take the starter dishes back because we hadn’t finished them. We felt like we were being rushed out of the restaurant which made the experience even less enjoyable. Poor service! Whilst on that note, we only seen the waiter who was meant to be looking after us once which was when he took our order, he was too busy flirting with the girls on the table just down from us to check that everything was ok with our meals. Our plates were finally cleared as we had our coats on and were ready to leave, this was when we had to request the bill because we just wanted to get out of there. All in all very disappointed and the 2 stars are for the refillable soft drinks and my partner enjoying the pasta from the salad bar.

After doing our shopping in Cardiff we decided to have the lunch buffet, the staff here are really helpful and nice, for £6:99 each the pizza buffet is excellent value for money, you even have unlimited salad as well, what a choice for salads, they even have pasta and a choice of two sauces, I would highly recommend this place, will go back again well done the staff keep up the good work.

No he venido a comer. Simplemente le pregunté a mi hija de 3 años! Podría usar la habitación un poco chicas como ella estaba necesitando un pequeño y era el entrenamiento de bacinica. Not as big as some of the pizza hut I have been in , staff very friendly , got seated straight away overall looked clean and tidy.You have to ask staff for a code number to use the toilet which is a bit strange but fully understandable as it stops people walking in off the street just to use the toilet

The restaurant is ideally placed on the corner of Queen Street and only a short walk from the Cardiff City Hop on - off Bus Tour stop, so handy if your touring the city and you want to stop for some lunch and rejoin the tour.I stopped off and took up the buffet lunch offer. There was plenty of choice in both Pizza, Pasta and the Salad Bar. The food was of good quality and satisfying. I was seated very quickly on arrival and the staff were both friendly and courteous. I would be happy to use this branch again, when next in Cardiff.

We met up with a friend who'd travelled from Canada to come to Cardiff. Decided on Pizza Hut as it's got a good reputation. This one in Queen Street was dreadful. The music was far too loud! Don't get me wrong we love good music but couldn't hear ourselves! Told a member of staff who's lame excuse was "Oh after the happy birthday announcements I was a bit mad with the volume control" and laughed! Restaurant itself was small and like an obstacle course with stairs and steps everywhere! Staff were friendly enough don't get me wrong and it looked like there were only two serving so I won't hold that against them here. Food was good so at least that was something. Sadly won't be returning.

I had fairly low expectations, I haven't been to a pizza hut in over decade, and the time before that I was a child! My expectations were correct to some extent, the restaurant seemed a little tired, quality of salad was average at best, though service was pleasantly good and attentive.The flatbread pizza was actually actively good, lovely base, fairly average quality ingredients on it but well executed and quite enjoyable.It was cheap, you get what you pay for but I'd say reasonable value for money. I like better quality personally but I cannot complain for the price.

Nice little place this one, tucked away downstairs but quaint. Just popped in for the lunch buffet and staff were lovely and the food was fresh. Great salad bar. My wife had a Gluten Free option which came freshly cooked and was also very good. A bit of a shame that there are no GF options for the buffet though as this pushes the price up but at least we were able to purchase GF.

The food and service were really good but the toilets are disguting. No excuse at all for this as instead of 2 toilets only one was working!! Not good if you have a queue. It was absolutely disgusting. Worse toilet I've honestly seen in Cardiff. Some people base a lot on the hygiene of the toilets and this is totally not good enough. I wont go back there at all. Would much rather go to Mcdonalds no question about it. They've just about got it right!!

The food was really good and I enjoy it. The staff was very good and always happy to suggest various pizzas and many more. great service and very yummy pizzas for any kind of favorites. one day I will get back there for sure :)

We wanted to go here, but the restaurant is down steps into a basement level and the were no signs for advice for wheelchair users, no lifts, just double doors leading to steps and an arrow pointing down the stairs. We wanted the restaurant experience not just a takeaway as we were on holiday and out to see Cardiff. Not very good guys. We felt discriminated against.

Love Pizza Hut and the food and service here was just as we would have expected. Sadly the restaurant is down in a basement and there appeared to be an awful lot of kamikaze flies about the place. We had to abandon one diet coke (luckily they are unlimited) and we spent too much time wafting them off our salads. Found the loos smelled a bit mouldy and I think the underground location needs a good rethink.

Visited yesterday and was seated quickly at a clean table. We all had the buffet which offered very good value for money. Lots of choice of pizzas and fresh salad readily available. Very attentive staff and a very lively atmosphere. We will definitely visit again!

Visited in the easter holidays. Was seated to a table quickly. Had the buffet and new pizzas were put on regularly so plenty to choose from. Only problem was waiting to get a member of staffs attention to pay.

Very efficient attentive staff.As soon as,we walked in a high chair was ready for us along with colouring pencils and small colouring leaflet for grandson. Food was piping hot and delicious.

Standard Pizza Hut in a good location, not enough staff, two ladies looking after all the tables, should be four, as a result of this the turnover is rather slow

What an eventful 5 minute lunch stay.As soon as I walked in the waiter was jolly and friend, asking me to take a seat wherever I wanted in a very kind manner.I placed an order for a buffet which was 'meant to be' £6.99... I got myself some pizza, pasta and salad and took a seat. Straight away one of the guys from the kitchen came to my table apologising saying, "I'm sorry sir, I smelt gas in the kitchen so you'll have to leave the building but you're ok to take all the food in front of you, and you won't be charged for the meal."So I put all my food in the pizza box provided and went off. I hope everything was ok after the building was evacuated?How could I not give 5/5 for good quality FREE food?! LolPS. I did return the fork that I took with me just ask the light bearded jolly guy

Unlimited pizza. Unlimited rip off never enough pizza is supplied and fresh pizza is not replaced till after all the previous pizza has gone no matter how Unappetising it appears. The toilets in this place you need a code to go into. They are vile and cold.. The main dining area is clean but we were sat under a ceiling mounted heater.. we left as we began to feel unwell sat there.As pizza goes pizza Hut is behind in years

The cheese and tomato pizza there is great! No doubt about it! However, that comes at a cost. Because I'm vegetarian, that and the vegetable one (when they have it... ) are the only ones I can eat. This means that because the cheese and tomato pizza is so popular I have difficulty actually being able to eat. It means I have to watch my friends eat meat pizza while waiting hours on end for the cheese and tomato pizza to be restocked in between occasional visits to the half stocked salad bar. It's a great place, no doubt, but it's difficult being a vegetarian there.

I cannot get enough of your salad, especially the crispy onions! But garlic bread on buffet was cold!!!

After walking round the shop's we saw the sign outside for the buffet lunch and decided to try it, we were shown to a table by a friendly staff member, we ordered and had the pizza's, you also can have unlimited salad, the pizza's were lovely and when they were replenished some were different.The pasta was nice and the tomato sauce was nice and spicy, the garlic bread could have done being a little bit more garlicky, I like the water and ice machine, all of this for £6.99 each what a bargain, I would highly recommend this place will definitely go back, staff are really friendly, well done and thank you.

Ate here as a family before going to winter wonderland. The food was very poor, the service was polite but very slow. My partner described it as the worst pizza ever. It was as if they'd cooked the base and then plonked lumps of chicken and onion on it. When we complained to the staff we were told, "Okay I'll pass it on to the manager." It was as if they were used to people complaining.

My family (4 adults and 3 children including my 2 year old girl) go for lunch here about once a month, usually on a Saturday, so when it is busy and staff have always been very attentive despite this. Small things like bringing a high chair for my daughter over instead of letting me go and find one, and bringing her some colouring to do while we wait for our food make a big difference when taking young children out to eat, and the staff always do this with a smile. The staff are always friendly, service is always reasonably fast even when busy and most importantly the pizzas are ,without fail, excellently cooked, generously topped and extremely filling. If you are weight conscious or not very hungry, they also serve DELICIOUS flat breads which I have had several times and are consistently absolutely wonderful and taste so fresh. If you can't finish your meal (which has happened to me a few times!) staff are happy to bring pizza boxes to take the rest home. The famous unlimited salad is varied, fresh and always restocked promptly when something is running low. There are often good meal deals on and the sides that we have had between us (garlic bread, cheesy garlic bread, fries, onion rings) have always been great too. My only slight negative about this place is it seems to take forever to be able to get someone's attention when you want to pay the bill, however this is a minor niggle. Overall can't praise highly enough.

Went for a buffet lunch. Our waiter (Chris) was very friendly and helpful. pizza was hot and tasty. Although we would have liked more thin based options.

Had to wait 5 minutes to be seated though it weren't busy only had 2 people serving. Waitress taking our order was rude and was rushing. Finally we can get food only to find there no pizza on the buffet so it was further 15 minute wait then they only bought out two pizzas one of them was burnt and the other tasteless so after another 10minutes of asking they bring more out and the slices are that small it is child size and though it was meant be chicken I didn't find any meat on there, couldn't eat the pasta and is it was cooked for to long and sticky so back to the salad bar which was our only saving grace for the afternoon. Tables were sticky and dirty had not one person to come over and ask if we wanted anything else didn't even see the staff that much to be fair. Won't be going to this branch of Pizza Hut again.

We went to this Resturant last night for 5.45pm. The place was very busy and we stood waiting for 10 minutes before being seated. Initially, there was only one man seating people and 2 young waiters, supposedly taking orders. We waited 20 minutes until someone even visited the table to take a drinks order. The 2 boys seemed inexperienced and dithered around. We then waited another 45 minutes for the milkshakes to actually arrive, we ended up asking twice. The food then took an hour and 10 mins to arrive - we only ordered a Hawaiian and pepperoni pizza, as we didn't dare wait for anything else. Everyone around us had either something incorrect on their order or were missing something, again the wait was terrible. The young men had clearly messed up the orders and table numbers, so when items were coming out to tables, other customers were shouting it was for their table.There was one young girl, blonde hair & fringe, who came in half way through and was absolutely fantastic trying to rectify the situation for all of us. She was very apologetic and said table numbers had been confused earlier in the evening. She even got some garlic bread on the house for the boy sat behind us, as an apology, as he was still missing a pizza an hour and 20 minutes in. If it wasn't for her, the whole experience would have been appalling. More training is needed by a number of staff and organisation improved. Still seating people when those who have a seat haven't been approached or orders arriving correctly isn't good customer service.

Visited here last night I found the restaurant to be quite cold. The service was good and pizza great as always. We had the Beef Fajita with all American thin crust. I was disappointed that the fries were oven cooked and not crispy like you would normally get. We ended up not eating them. £3.25 is pricey for oven cooked fries. Salad was clean and filled up. It was pretty quiet so I was surprised we waited so long for the waiter to come back so we could pay our bill.

Food here were lovely. Value for money. The staff were friendly and the venue was very clean. All you can eat offer is well worth the money

Pizza Hut in Queen St Cardiff isn't a very spacious place but that does give a pleasant ambience. The staff are pleasant and efficient, the food is good and the wide choice of unlimited cold drinks are welcome and delicious. The salad bar is good too, although the main meal is quite fill in, but it's good to have a starter!Happy to recommend to shoppers who need a break!

Took my family hear yesterday 11/6/16 waited nearly a hour for our order when there was only 5 other customers in the restaurant when I asked the waiter how much longer she had a very poor attitude with me and quite obnoxious won't be visiting there again

My pizza was so greasy that it was floppy and soaked through to bottom. I have been before but thought I'd give them the benefit of the doubt, but their pizzas are so greasy they are borderline inedible every time. I had to leave mine half eaten. Staff also take too long to come to the table, even though it is rarely busy.

Me and my partner enjoyed our lunch here, service was a little slow at first but the waiter and waitress tried their best to accommodate everyone and was very apologetic for the wait which wasn't really an issue for us. overall a nice meal and excellent price. Would return again :)

I've always been a huge fan of Pizza Hut and always end up visiting here when in Cardiff as we have no Pizza Hut in close proximity to where I live, the food is always great and the staff helpful. The only negative comment that I have is that it is a little scruffy compared to other pizza huts I've eaten in, the floors and tables don't always seem very clean and I have been seated at a table before that had not been wiped over, with crumbs all over the seats, but I appreciate that when it's busy it's hard to ensure that everywhere is spotless! Other than that I would recommend!

Visited Cardiff Pizza Hut today to catch up with friends arrive around 2:30. It was pretty quiet with only another two or three tables of people. Had to wait a while to be shown to seats, girl who served us said she would give us a few minutes to choose from the menu then disappeared. We were left for around 20 minutes and had to get the waitress attention as we wanted to order the lunch time buffet but knew it finished at three. ( which is posted online at finishing at 5 during school holidays ) The pizza was ok not much choice and no fresh pizza put out and a lot of grumbling from the cooks that " people were still eating from the buffet " the pasta was swimming in water and the salad bar was mainly just crisps and crotons. We were asked what drinks we wanted the waitress never brought us drinks and didn't say that you had to help yourself. We finished our food around 4 and had only put 2 hours on at the carpark, we wanted to order dessert by this time we were the only people left in the restaurant the waitress waked past us several times and never asked if we would like anything else. We finally asked for the people as we had been waiting over half an hour with no one else there to be served. We were given the bill and then waited another 20 mins for someone to come and collect the money off us, by this point our tickets on our cars had run out and we were worried about getting Parking tickets. By the end we had, had enough and went up to the only guy walking around to pay him. He had the cheek to hint at a tip and to moan about people coming in at 3 and expecting the buffet. Spoke to two men on the way out and told them to go somewhere else. Always wondered why it was so quiet in there now I know why. We definitely won't be visiting again

Attended for a family meal as we were in Cardiff whilst checking out the town and university for my eldest.The pizzas were fine. The cheese chips were foul. The basement level restaurant was a tad claustrophobic and packed out, so felt even more hemmed in.All in all a pretty standard meal - but I'm not sure I'll be returning there. If there's another branch in Cardiff that isn't in a basement I'll go there instead from now on when visiting the city.

Nothing special on offer here. Staff were attentive, pizza was okay. expected nothing more from a pizza hut at 12:00 on a Tuesday afternoon. Had the buffet, which they've just increased the price of from £6.99 to £7.50, but a bit disappointing to see the old promo boards on the floor just inside the door, showing you what might have been.(yes i know its only 50p but still, people dont like that sort of thing)A bit of confusion upon first visiting the buffet area. With a dining room filling up fast, the pizzas were dwindling in numbers, until we were left with nothing but crumbs. Not very good coordination between the front of house and the chefs meant people were waiting around for the pizza station to be restocked munching on lettuce and queuing at the drinks machine. Once this initial blip had past, the service picked up and food was moving quickly.Place was fine for a quick pit stop for a works lunch, but nothing more than that. Surroundings were clean and tidy

The experience here is average. Food is fine, service is fine. Standard Pizza Hut. Nice city centre location and good for New Theatre.
