Yummies Kebab Fairwater in Cardiff

The best. I’ve been coming here for years and it’s my favourite place to get a kebab. Very helpful staff and friendly service.

Absolute rip off! Such a p**s take! Charged £5.50 for standard size tray of chips with a tiny bit of melted cheese on top and £8.50 for an even smaller chicken wrap!!! Don't know who they think they are charging the prices they do for the size and standard of the food they serve!. I'd never recommend and definitely would never return!

Absolute piss take! Used to love Yummies a few years ago, but it’s gone right down hill! I placed an order at 7:10, I called at 8;45 as it still not arrived. Lady said it would be another 20-30 mins tops, and apologised, which is fine. At 9:35 I called back because it had still not arrived, 50 minutes after she said it wouldn’t be any later than 30 minutes more. When raising a complaint, she gave a stinking attitude with the response of “what do you want me to do about it, I just pick up the phone and do the orders” My kids, and my wife have both gone to bed hungry as the food finally arrived at 9:50!! Nearly 3 hours after I placed the order!!!! Food may as well just go in the bin now, as it was for them, and they’ve all gone to bed. Absolutely appalling!!!!!

Amazing food, amazing service, the taste of the food you can't get anywhere else would highly recommend. Bless very busy and apologising lots for the delay due to the rugby but still the quality of the food was the best

Absolutely amazing food, so fresh and tasty! We had the yummies special kebabs, chicken pizza and the jelapino creams with chips I would recommend to anyone in the local area

The worst kebab I think I’ve ever had in my life. Near enough inedible, I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog. Payed £15 for the pleasure as well. Awful

We had a mixed platter with rice and salad. The food was absolutely beautiful, fresh and very tasty. The shop was spotless, and the staff very friendly. Highly recommended, can't wait to go again. Very impressed.

My son wanted to buy a takeaway one evening and suggested that we tried Yummies as it is near his school. We ordered a variety of things from Pizzas, burgers and chips. The prices are really good and the food is very tasty and appears to be of decent quality. If you fancy some cheap takeaway with loads of choice and special deals, I can't recommend Yummies enough.

Ordered through just eat..no sign of delivery. Rang the shop and was told it would be another 30 to 40 minutes and not their problem because there was people infront who ordered. Shocking attitude

Really fantastic local Kebab shop. I was very impressed by the cleanliness. It was spotless in there. Unlike other kebab shops I've been to. The food was fresh and really yummy! We had Doner Kebabs, and they were top tier awesome. Very keen to try the other items on the menu, their pizzas also looked great!

2 hrs late once again! Then when I called to see where order was.. was met by attitude from the chav on the phone this is the 2nd time order was late and 2nd time I've been spoken to with attitude! Won't order from here ever again would give minus star if I could...

Phoned to place my order, lady on the phone was very polite and helpful. Food was amazing, great taste, hot and fresh tasting. Portion sizes are perfect! Highly recommended!

The best Chicken Kebab I have tasted, lovely fresh salad and plenty of chicken, would highly recommend.

In an area of Fairwater where businesses can look a little tired and worn, Yummies has a bright and fresh presence in the local area. The kebabs and pizzas are reasonably priced and very decent. My favourite is the chicken shish with all the salad. You need to preorder on the app which is easy and convenient.

I am very impressed with this place. The meat quality is spot on, the marinade is super tasty and it’s always cooked perfectly, the salad is freshly prepared, delicious, varied and plentiful and the friendly caring people working here makes ordering in person a bonus. Extremely expensive for "alright" food. Didn't expect to pay £12 for a donner kebab meal when I can order the exact same meal for £7 on almost any other Just Eat restaurant.

Ordered onlime with just eat and they charged me double the price for cold food. I had a kebab but it is so cold and it charges you if you want more than 1 sauce disgusting service never use these as just robbing people through the Internet.

I have just bought 2 Lamb Shish kebab's from here, just under £18.00. The worst takeaway I've had in a long time, 7 lumps of the Lamb were inedible, they were pure gristle, really disappointed, I won't be using this place again.

Never will go there again waited nearly half hour for 2 kebabs and people were walking in, ordering and getting theirs before me, fast food? Dont think it's that fast.

I could say it was the best kebab I’ve ever had, the gents were really helpful I’ve wasn’t sure what to have and asked what would they recommend and they’ve recommended their kebab and it was delicious I would deffo return. Keep the good work up guys.

Good food, good service, friendly, efficient staff. The menu consists of all the favourites - not just kebabs - pizza, chicken; get them on Maps and look for yourself. I LOVE the lamb shishkebab which, like the others, comes with salads, pitta bread and any sauces. Yum!

Ordered two kebabs both arrived cold, the chips tasted like they had been rewarmed more than once and the burger was simply tasteless. The kebab meat is not seasoned it’s like rubber.

Yummies well that's an understatement!! Ordered 2 kebabs the size was shocking alone. £22 for kebabs and chips !! When calling the shop the girl seemed stressed and disheartened said to me my call was not the only complaint! I actually heard the cook screaming and shouting at her and felt very bad for her. It's not her fault just as it's not the delivery guys fault either. The cook was disgusting to both us and his staff! I asked for my money back they sent the same delivery guy back to receive food yet for 3 hours continuously calling and being hung up by still waiting for my refund!!! Absolutely disgusting service by the cook not sure if he is the manager as when I asked for him I heard shouting I'm busy!! We are yet to receive our money !!!!!!!

Discusting and cold. Cheap doner, Cold, Skingy on the salad, Hardly any sauce. I used to come here regulary, But never coming back again. Cat enjoyed it though!

One of the best takeaway kebabs in Cardiff. Their homemade chilli sauce is so perfect, that pita bread just soaks it up 👌 Recommend the large mixed shish with all the salad, chilli & mint sauce. Perfection 👌

I live 2 mins drive from this place so was disappointed to get home with cold food. Have noticed recently that portion sizes have decreased to what they used to be. Will be going elsewhere in the future 09/04/2021 - Needed a quick meal after a long day so tried Yummies again! Food was piping hot on this occasion! Good portion with my food, chips and cheese could have done with some more cheese but that’s just personal preference! Will visit again as last time must have been a once off! 13/05/2021 - amazing food once again! Have been here a few times now, staff are friendly and food has been very good! Even the wife has a kebab now! Cheers all

Considering the shop is so close, the food still manged to get delivered stone cold. Shame as previously the foods been fine.

Ordered from these today on just eat and ordered over £30 worth of food and it was freezing when it arrived!. I called up and explained the situation within seconds of receiving my order and the attitude on the manager was atrocious!. Telling me that the salad and sauce makes the kebab cold?! I mean really... so I took it back to the shop myself after a argument on the phone about a refund. I got my refund in cash to order somewhere else on way back home as I was starving. I will not order from there again unless their attitudes change big time... Cant even give them a half a star so one will have to do...

The mixed meat kebab was so dry it wasn't late so I expected it to be fresher I binned most of it won't go back!!

I take back what I said on here before its gone down hill went for a large donner and was given a small but will large pitta bread not much salad or sauces I new something was wrong as weighted very light same weight as chips I will not be going there again Its rubbish and the stopped taking cards now in this day and age only card which is strang

Talk about the worst customer service experience we ordered 4 meals today and they were almost absolutely delicious unfortunately I ordered the Lamb and chicken shish kebab the lamb was super salty but the rest of the food was really tasty according to the children I then called the shop to let them know that the lamb was extra extra salty and that they might want to try and do something about that because not everyone would appreciate the amount of salt content that was in the product. I was then insulted and told to F off and that no one had ever complained about their meals and that I was just being fussy and ridiculous. To be honest I am one of those people that love salt I put salt in everything but this was way over the odds and I really didn't appreciate it. It's not like I wanted to refund but I just wanted them to know that the salt content was unacceptable and that they needed to do something about it. So the manager of the shop then told me that I was stupid and I shouldn't be saying such things I am ridiculous and wanting to be a nuisance to the community. I mean who does that it's not like I was asking for a refund all I wanted was to let them know that maybe they should calm down on the salt and try to be more considerate for other people who do not like that kind of salt content. It wasn't appreciated and he told me he was taking me to court I was then banned the shop. What a bloody nerve. Won't be going there ever again. Rude is an understatement!!!!!!! I'm fuming

I requested our 4 pitter bread’s not cut and the pittas came cut,must of been miscommunication on my behalf,Rang them back to ask them if they could replace the cut pitter bread’s and yummys was more than happy to help. Order was wrong and wasn’t even put on the order so wasn’t charged for it knowing full well what I ordered, phoned back and all I got was well you didn’t order it so you’d have to pay Delivery again, very poor customer service won’t be using these again

Pathetic place, they leave stuff out of your order. Took 40 minutes to re-deliver missing item. Rude service and not at all apologetic. Food is well below average and portions small. Would leave 0 stars if possible!!!

Ordered bacon cheese burger and to be blunt it tasted like s#@t. Never order from here unless like you like stale chips and burgers that are not fit for animal consumption this place needs to be shut down.
