Best pizza in Cardiff, staff are always great and the quality is high. I only wish that I lived closer to visit more often!

They are lucky they are getting a single star and that's only so I can leave a review. Our daughter has a cows milk protein allergy, so my partner is unable to consume dairy (or soy) to keep the allergens from transferring to our daughter while breastfeeding. While ordering our pizza this meant we did a create your own pizza with papa John's, created this with vegan cheese and a meat topping which avoided anything with allergens. When picking up said pizza, we asked to make sure the allergen requests had been abided to, they confirmed though said our order was running a little late. 15 further minutes passed and we still didn't have our order. Turns out that the allergen request had been ignored so they were making the pizza again, no problem I thought as they caught the mistake before it became an issue. Another 10 minutes and we finally get our pizza, with further confirmation that allergen requests had been adhered to. Upon consumption of the pizza, I asked my partner how it was and she said it was nice and their vegan cheese even tasted like real cheese. Fast forward 24 hours and my daughter is in a lot of pain, we take a trip to the hospital though there is nothing they can do, apart from confirming that dairy had likely been consumed. Straight away we made a complaint to their customer service. The customer service has failed to accept any responsibility after a 3 week "investigation" on the basis we failed to take a photo of the pizza we received. I don't know about anyone else but we don't tend to take photos of all of our meals before we consume them. I'd recommend not eating here if you or anyone else has any allergies, as this experience made my daughter ill for weeks.

Nuestra hija tiene alergia a las proteínas de la leche de vaca, por lo que mi pareja no puede consumir lácteos (ni soya) para evitar que los alérgenos se transfieran a nuestra hija mientras amamanta. Mientras ordenábamos nuestra pizza, esto significaba que hicimos una pizza con papa John's, la creamos con queso vegano y una cobertura de carne que evitaba cualquier cosa con alérgenos. Al recoger dicha pizza, pedimos asegurarse de que las solicitudes de alérgenos habían sido atendidas, confirmaron aunque dijeron que nuestro pedido se estaba retrasando un poco. Pasaron 15 minutos más y todavía no teníamos nuestro pedido. Resulta que la solicitud de alérgenos había sido ignorada, así que estaban haciendo la pizza de nuevo, no hay problema pensé ya que se dieron cuenta del error antes de que se convirtiera en un problema. Otros 10 minutos y por fin conseguimos nuestra pizza, con confirmación adicional de que se habían cumplido las solicitudes de alérgenos. Al consumir la pizza, le pregunté a mi compañera cómo estaba y me dijo que estaba bien y que su queso vegano incluso sabía a queso real. Avancemos 24 horas y mi hija sufre mucho, hacemos un viaje al hospital aunque no hay nada que puedan hacer, aparte de confirmar que probablemente se habían consumido lácteos. De inmediato hicimos una queja a su servicio al cliente. El servicio de atención al cliente no ha aceptado ninguna responsabilidad después de una "investigación" de 3 semanas sobre la base de que no tomamos una foto de la pizza que recibimos. No sé de nadie más pero no solemos tomar fotos de todas nuestras comidas antes de consumirlas. Recomendaría no comer aquí si usted o alguien más tiene alguna alergia, ya que esta experiencia hizo que mi hija enfermara durante semanas.

El trato de los estudiantes no estaba claro y terminó con nosotros recibiendo pizzas y solo los lados, entonces ni siquiera acomodar y dar la pizza gratis que se promete. No hay nada gratis en ella

Oh dear oh dear oh dear. Wanted to get the kids a treat, and spent £23 on a deal. Ordered an hour ago, and the tracker shows the pizza as delivered and advises us to "enjoy". Nothing has turned up however. Has it been delivered somewhere else? The phone number is permanently engaged, so we can't even check with the manager. Now scrambling to make some kind of alternative plan at approaching 8pm on a Friday evening. We will have to get a refund somehow - difficult to imagine how given we can't speak to them - won't be using again.

The pizza was nasty did not cook it properly

We have ordered our pizza directly with them because they said it is quicker than if we order it with Uber Eats or Deliveroo. They lied! My husband is tip 1 Diabetic and he did his insulin after we call them and asked how long it will take until the pizzas arrive they said 30’ maximum. It took 1h48 minutes!!! It’s a massive disrespect, because once my husband did his insulin he needs to eat! Never more!!! Even if it’s free!!

Don't order from this place, they take your money and you don't hear from them. I rang and they told me they don't deliver to my area and they won't refund £33 that I paid. They just kept telling me to ring head office. It's disgusting!!

Absolutely delicious. They offer an awesome range of fresh pizzas. Although, staff members are very friendly and decent. i used to LOVE the Pizza Sauce dip, now they’ve replaced it with some disgusting, vinegary ‘tomato and herb’ dip - BRING BACK THE PIZZA SAUCE

Way better service than dominos

Stopped eating there after finding a solid particle in my pizza. No apology or explanation was given on returning it, and a refund was refused dispute the whole pizza was being returned. However, i was offered a replacement pizza, which i refused due to the solid unexampled dangerous(if swallowed) solid particle in the pervious one.

Good place for ordering online. Service could be faster.

We order from here regularly as a Friday night treat and the Pizzas are the best around. We usually have the vegan works with the marmite scrolls . Great vegan and veggie options and the food always arrives hot and quickly with their delivery service. Would definitely recommend.

Ordered first time in Papa John's they didn't disappoint. The Pizza was delivered on time and hot. Hope to order again. Read the reviews just after ordering and was worried how the quality would be. Our family enjoyed it. It was vegetarian, our experience was good.

Ordered Vegan and Gluten free Pizza. I opened it at home. There was a few sprinkles of cheese on there. But only if you really had a good look. I bought my own cheese to put on there. The Toppings were tasteless. I phoned them to complain. They said I could get a free pizza next time. I did phone another time to get the free pizza. They told me I wasnt on the system. They wont be giving me the free pizza. I'll never return.

Absolutely despicable service. We ordered for delivery and after THREE HOURS, we rang just to be shouted at the manager that we ordered for collection! We had proof we ordered for delivery but they didn’t want to know and we just got called profanity after profanity. Papa Johns refused to answer any of our emails and we only got our money back through PayPal. We were left very upset and angry.

Ordered 1 classic crust, and 1 thin crust both pizzas same thickness, I contacted restaurant and was told to send a picture via email for the manager to see tomorrow. What an absolute joke, no apology or anything. Anyone who loves thin crust stay away from here as you get given regular

ordered 1 large cheese and tomato regular crust, 1 medium pizza thin crust with 2 toppings. It arrived and both pizzas are same thinkness, this medium is NOT a thin crust what so ever, I ordered 1 large normal crust 1 medium thin crust and as you can see there both the same, there is no difference in size. Restaurant would not assist me, just advising me to send email which is completely rediculas to them for management to see tomorrow, no apology or anything...... Discusting

The staff are extremely rude. When I asked for a new pizza as mine was cold on deliveryI was told that the driver said it was warm, and that I was black listed. When I asked to speak to the manager I was told the manager didn't care. I asked for their name and they gave me a fake name and proceeded to hang up on me multiple times. This isn't the first time I've had a problem with this branch but the staff are completely incompetent and rude. I've written to head office and am awaiting a response. This "Adam" deserves to be fired, his customer service skills are appalling.

I think pizzas from papa are way healthier then the other ones around. Quick delivery too.
