Dirty! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! I arrived at Pizza Hut today for a buffet lunch with my 5 year old. It was my daughter’s choice of restaurant as she likes to feel grown up helping herself to pizza. Unfortunately this is the dirtiest Pizza Hut we’ve ever been in. How on earth this is a 5 hygiene is an absolute joke! We were shown to our seats and I paid for our meals x1 adult buffet and x1 kids buffet, using the code on the table. We then went to get our salad and pizza. When we came back to our table, the tin holding the cutlery and napkins was covered in around 50 little red spiders, thankfully my daughter didn’t go to grab one of these before I spotted it because she would have had spiders all over her face/mouth had she have used this cutlery/napkins without noticing. I asked the manager to get us fresh and take it away due to all the spiders, it was like she’d heard this before and had expected it to happen. She took it away whispering to her colleague on the way past. When she came back she put the cutlery on our table. Didn’t offer a refund or to wipe down our table, I really didn’t feel like eating after this, but didn’t want to make a fuss as I didn’t want to upset my child. Unfortunately we had to leave as there were still spiders on our table and the manager didn’t seem to care. Definitely won’t be returning 🤢 The customers on the table next to us said they feel disgusting after eating there now too, they had just finished their meals, and hadn’t checked their cutlery tin. The whole place needs fumigating.

Very poor service and everything seemed dirty! We were on our way back from family in Yorkshire and stopped for tea. Manager not very welcoming. Staff stood in groups chatting most of our visit. Everything done on the app, which was fairly straightforward but shame you can’t view specifics of your order. Also you’re asked for a tip - before anyone does anything. In our case, staff were disinterested so definitely wasn’t worthy of one. One young girl however, did all the running around whilst her colleagues appeared to do nothing. Bowls were dirty, took ages to find clean one. Glasses dirty. Water from machine cloudy. Cutlery dirty. Toilets dirty. The actual pizza was fine so with a bit of cleaning and some service, it could be ok. Won’t be racing back to any Pizza Hut now…

Not been to pizza for a long time, always felt it was too pricey….. however today we had great pizzas with staff that couldn’t do enough for you no matter what….. I have a problem with eating cheese and this lovely Scottish guy, forgive me has I didn’t get his name but he was happy to sort our order to suit our pocket and our safety. . What a pleasure to meet someone wanting to give the customer the best value. The meal was delicious, okay wasn’t the price of McDonald’s but boy oh boy tasted brilliant… thank you all so much, we will definitely be back.

My partner and I visited this restaurant for the first time for our anniversary and we couldn't have been more pleased with the service we received. On arrival the young girl was so polite and friendly and seated us in a nice spot within the restaurant. We were given plenty of time to decide our order and again this was taken with polite friendly professional service. Our food arrived in a good amount of time, but as we had salad bowls with our meal this gave us time to enjoy this first. Although we arrived towards the end of the night we never once felt pressured into the time we were there and was given plenty of time to enjoy our meal. Again when ordering our desserts again this was delivered in efficient time and again not rushed to finish these and leave. I would like to give thanks to all the staff who served us and made us feel very welcome and allowed us to enjoy our meal. From an ex PH FOH staff, I believe all the staff met all expectations of customers and should be praised. We will definately be back

Never been so disappointed in my life sat 45 minutes waiting for a desert to come out after asking multiple staff memeber to move our plates and bring the desserts I won’t be coming back here again

Turned up at 12:00 for lunch. Restaurant was more than half empty and we were turned told we'd have to wait 30 minutes as it was so busy needless to say we didn't wait it's ashame as lots of others group also didn't wait so they just turned away business when not full

A lunch time visit. Not busy. Not been to a Pizza Hut for years so am not an expert on pizzas. The greeter explained about the all in buffet £10 for kids £15 for adults. Eat as much as you want, bottomless drinks plus ice cream. So we went for it. There was a choice of about 6 or 7 different pizzas (not sure if they vary the toppings through the day or stick to the same) plus 2 pasta dishes. All the pizzas I had were decent enough and the variety was ok. The salad bar is as I remember it from my last visit. It was my granddaughter who pointed out that the names for the sauces/dressings on the salad bar were on the spoon handles! The one thing I was a bit disappointed with was the ice cream. For me it was non descript. Staff helpful and friendly. Couldn't get the QR code at the table to work so reverted back to giving the order to the waitress.

Visited on a busy weekend - shorter than expected wait time for a table. Salad bar was replenished whilst there, pizza and sides all brought out fresh, with plenty of toppings too. Able to take home leftovers as too full to finish! Staff were all friendly and helpful, and the front of house was a lovely chap too.

We ordered from here New Year’s Day as a treat for our family, the food was delivered fast but what we had delivered was shocking resembled 2 sharing wafer thin soft bases which we had to cut ourselves there were marks on the pizzas to show a cut had been attempted but had only marked the surface, hardly any cheese on either pizza, both tasteless and chicken that looked like it had been added on afterwords was as dry as a bone, definitely a small pizza dough ball rolled out to 14” sizes, my partner used to be a manager here and said it was nothing like that when she worked there (years ago) not is it anything like that when we have had it in past rare we have it but will be last time , more than half of what we had ended up in the bin. The nachos was the same very poor more sauce on them than nachos and 3 jalapeños in each starter. Wouldn’t recommend

Visited this branch today and was greated by Lynn who was very hospitable and helpful if there is to be an employee of the month it should be her thank you so much see you again next week

Ordered what was meant to be an adults pizza. Received something the size of a child’s pizza. Charge a lot of money for not a lot of pizza!

Ordered a cheese bites crust Hawaiian pizza on Deliveroo with chips and garlic bread. Everything was cold, the pizza was just a standard thin crust, looked and tasted like it had been cooked 4 hours ago and left out. The ham was like leather and there was burnt bits. I paid £30 for this and I’m furious! Have requested a refund. Never again!

seated within half an hour as needed to book, service great and friendly and efficient but the food isn't great, pizzas lacking flavour, one was burnt, too sweet bbq sauce covering them and the fact the toppings are measly and barely there, pizzas not replaced and not of a good variety, i didn't get a Hawaiian or other flavours during my buffet visit, not cut properly so hard to get a slice when there is a queue behind, salad sloppy, wouldn't return.

Had 30/40 minutes to have some lunch with my partner before we had to be at the cinema, we went to Pizza Hut during the buffet deal time and it was amazing, I can't believe the range of pizzas that was there, was able to go in be seated quickly despite it being quite busy, order food on the app and have a drink and some pizza and a salad bowl in front of us within 5 minutes. The Staff was also fabulous! I had a blast, will be going again.

Went Sat 29 Jan 22. With 8 friends. Warm friendly service. Only problem was. They never told us until the end that they do not take cash any more. Which was very awkward as we were all paying separately as couples. With cash. So don't go to pizza hut unless you have a credit card.

Me and my partner visit Pizza Hut often and the service and food is never faulted. However, this one particular time, our service was almost perfect. The women who seated us and served us for most of our journey was polite. I think the thing that impressed me the most was the fact she introduced herself (her name was Lynne) and the speed of service!

Called for a bite to eat. It was almost empty.Had pizzas, they were fine. What we had ordered. Starters and puds on the very small side!Told the self serve drinks machine was out of order for the bottomless refills. So ordered lots of pepsi etc...as we were finished, another customer went up to the machine to try it...it was actually working! Felt abit peeved to have spent a fair bit of money on soft drinks in bottles when the machine was infact working!

Got greeted straight away, sat down and they took our order in good time. Wasn’t waiting long and when the food came out it looked fresh and tasty! Managed the whole pizza as it was delicious I didn’t want to leave any! Would recommend :)

What an waste of time and money. The service and food that was delivered was so terrible we just ate it and went. We would never eat here again and the last 3 other review are all saying the same thing . If Pizza Hut management ever bothered to look at these reviews and did something about it that would be a start but the manager at this so called diner need to be replaced and get someone in that wants to run it and make the customers happy.

Ordered tortilla chips that arrived burnt on the outside and soggy in the middle. Awful don’t bother with Pizza Hut. Find a decent local place. Pizza average also. Oily. Dog wouldn’t eat it.

This is a review my husband and I have pondered about posting because of how appalling our experience was. Unfortunately it wasn’t due to the restaurant as a whole, it was due to a single waitress that we had. The food was lovely, however our waitress Laura was incredibly rude. On many occasions we attempted to engage with her, but she was adamant in her disposition of pure insultation. I have never been spoken to in such disregard, I will never return to this restaurant again. This restaurant needs a serious review of the staff that it hires, or at least an implication of training that will prevent staff ever treating customers like this again. 1 star review.

Took the guys I support out to a meal here and was instantly told we couldn't sit in the space we wanted to sit not with a walking frame we were told to sit right at the back in the corner where we were out of view the table service was rather poor and was met by negative attitude from the waitress.

Called Sunday lunch-time whilst on our way home from Junction 32 Outlet. It is a while since we last dined at a Pizza Hut and really enjoyed our meal.

We happened soon this place in the way back from a meeting. Two families together. Waitress took our drinks order very quickly. Place always not busy either considering it was 2000hra an bank holiday Monday. Food was great and so was the service from the staff

Had to ask for menus and ask to order. Although I'm not a fan of upselling, we did want extras and had to ask for them.

We pre booked our table online today at 1pm. When we turned up, we was surprise it wasn’t that busy as it was the school half term. A male staff member pointed out our table for us to go over. He could not even be bothered take us there. When we sat down, no staff came to see us and we had to wave at them to come over. The food is the same standard as you would expect from any Pizza Hut Restaurant. What we was disappointed with was the lack of customer care. No one came over to clear our plates. So we picked them up and placed them on another empty table. The table and our seats were sticky and felt they had not been cleaned properly. The restaurant just did not feel clean. We could see the staff members standing and talking amongst themselves when we had to flag them to come over to us. This did not look professional. When attending any restaurants, we would always leave a tip for staff. However we was so disappointed by the staff, we refused. We will not be coming to this particular restaurant back in a hurry ! Sorry

Booked for 12.00. No problem with speed of ordering, waitress was very pleasant. Starter took about 15 minutes to arrive, main course about 30 minutes after starter was cleared.

This was our first visit to Pizza Hut. Never to be repeated. The old say 'you pay for what you get' comes to mind. Cheap food for famiies as was evident with children running around spilling drinks. As they operate a help your self salad bar this resulted in food being spread over the floors by the children. Our pizza's were extremely poor in quality l, etc. We were glad to leave as this was one of our worst dinner experiences.

Very poor pizza had very little topping and the cheese was virtually non existent. When the bill came I nearly dropped through the floor! £48 for 1 pizza, 1 cheesy chips, 2 refillable pepsi's, 1 kids ice-cream - never again!

Called in for the lunch time buffet which was as good as ever, We asked the waitress if she could top up baby's drink cup with weak dilute orange, she did but charged £1.50 to do it !! I don't mind paying but £1.50 is just taking advantage.

We visited yesterday as a family of four. We were served by Lynne who was a lovely lady and is a credit to the company. The food was great tasty and served in good time. It' just a shame you can't half half and half on individual pizzas. Plus two desserts which my husband ordered were out of stock AGAIN. Such a shame that we couldn't give 5* due to this. We came for a birthday meal, the staff were nice however quite slow at taking orders and hard to get the attention of when needing the bill. The pizza is lovely and cooked fast, salad bar nice and varied however the bowls are quite small so can hardly get any of the salad in them. Beers are very expensive so we decided against them. Pretty standard restaurant to be honest.

We and my work friends came out on our lunch break for the Buffett and wow it was great we damn right piled our plates high with pizza and salad and we went to town. The pizza was great even if it was buffet style and the salad bar (although missing cheese) was great

I come to Castleford Pizza Hut very often with my partner and on an occasion his family - we always really enjoy the food and the service is good. Can't complain really.

We went to pizza hut for my birthday. The waitress meet us near to the door and follow us to the table. When we sat down we ask her for couple of minutes to choose the drinks. Nobody was coming to us about 10 minutes. Its only 3 tables was in all restaurants. Food came very quickly. I had meat feast pizza thin cheese crust, but came without crust. We had small amount of meat on pizza.. i dont see anywhere else like this. Also for all of us food was dry and not hot enough. Salads was ok. But can see its staying long time. Most of the Sauses fineshed. When we finished meal, we ask for bills and disserts to take home, lady give us only biscuits without ice cream, she explain that she cant give us ice cream away.. kid was disappoited.. we paid all amount of bills, and we didnt had any discount. Never back again.

We went in there today as we wanted somewhere different for lunch and had not tried the Pizza hut restaurant yet. The food was really good and the staff were very friendly but the desert was definitely the best part! We had the warm chocolate chip cookie dough with ice cream and it was beautiful! Will definitely be going back for some more of it!

We ate here on Friday evening and both service and food was lukewarm we would have complained but no one came to ask how the food was and we both just wanted to leave and get home after a hard day. My wife watched our pizza sat under the heat lamp for a good 7 minutes while staff walked past laughing and joking. When we asked for our bill the same 5 staff members just ignored us while they continued chatting to each other. I guess no one from Pizza Hut will read this but you've just lost a regular customer that used to eat here 3 or 4 times a month

Me and my boyfriend have been here a few times and we have always liked it. We came here for my birthday last year after tgi was too busy to get a meal. It was a busy weekend with a lot of competitions going on in xscape but we only had to wait at least 10 minutes. Most we have waited at this Pizza Hut has been 20 minutes as we went with a group of 8. Anyway the waitresses were really friendly asked us straight away what drinks we wanted etc. We had a really lovely conversation with her throughout the evening. As it was my birthday we were one of the last to leave as we had quite a bit to drink but a family of 10 had complained and shouted at the staff members when they were trying to help. As the family were sat close to us we could hear what they were complaining about and they had no complaints through the whole meal until it came time to pay they didn't want to pay for anything. After they had left the staff came round and apologised to us for having to see that we were not bothered by what we saw as the customers were wrong on this occasion staff had nothing to apologise for. Would definitely recommend this Pizza Hut and fantastic service even on a late Saturday night when they probably want to get home. A lot better than my local Pizza Hut that's for sure.

We always go to this pizza hut as we live close by and it's convenient, always friendly staff (a little slow) but still good. The food is good as always. The tables and floors can sometimes get messy but that seems to be in busy periods, it's fine and clean when it's quiet. You always seem to get loud children or naughty children, but this isn't the restaurants fault and again this is usually at busy times.

My wife and myself took our grandchildren out for lunch. They said they would like Pizza so we headed here. The restaurant wasn't busy and we were seated promptly and oven menus by our waitress in good time. However, when it eventually arrived the food was shocking. I ordered a thin and crispy vegetarian with pepperoni, the wife ordered a veggie flatbread and the kids shared a margarita. The flatbread was flat cold, my thin and crispy was rubbery and soggy, typical cheap supermarket bought base, and the kids pizza was virtually inedible. We complained about the flatbread and to their credit we were not charged for it. I would not recommend this outlet because of the poor food quality. However, the service was good. Definitely needs to improve. It's such a shame because we used to eat at Pizza Hut regularly when our kids were growing up. Oh, one last thing, the tea cup that my wife used was dirty. This wasn't apparent until she had drunk her tea.

We sat down and with in 5 minutes we were ready to order with a member of staff and we left tips for excellent service Go there every month nearlyI would advise it

Christmas Eve visit. Came in with 5 people including me. We was greeted by a very rude waitress at the door who just didn't seem happy for us to be there. We explained there was 5 of us and we needed a booth if possible. She said "no sorry only got tables for 2s or 4s". Which made us feel unwelcome. We suggested pulling a chair at end of table that was away from the main walkway she said we couldn't do that. Whilst we all piled into a 4 cover booth she dropped our menus on the table and left with no explanation of the menu. I was appalled, and would of left if it wasn't for Bethan our server who greeted us very politely, asked us for drinks and took our order as soon as we was ready. We didn't realise the time and it was nearing 5pm and my boyfriend had to be at work for 6pm. She said to us it wasn't a problem she was going to speak to the kitchen. In less than 10 minutes 4 pizzas have been brought out along with our sides. Food was great and we even walked away with some pizza boxed up. Would recommend to anyone was a little let down with the awful welcoming but thanks to Bethan who made our stay a very memorable one. Nothing was too much to ask. Thanks again.

We love Pizza Hut but it seems to be very good or very bad . The staff don't seem to work as a team and the food is often sat under the heat lamp for ages while staff walk past and when the food arrives is often luke warm and it's just easier to eat it than to send it back. The next table to ours had to complain as some of they chips was still frozen? How can this happen? Just sums up the hit & miss this place can be

We never got as far as a meal. We were seated and we sat there. A family was shown in 5 minutes after we got there and were asked what they wanted to drink. I asked the waiter if we could order drinks and he told us to wait. We got up and walked out. I think it is true that Pizza Hut does not like catering for older people. Our treatment was outraqgeous and we will never go there again.

Kids loved it, we'll stocked salad bar, swift service. Staff friendly and cheerily going about their work. Current deal is quite good, a bit stuffed at the end.

When in here a few months ago tried to get a table for me and my son was told we would have to wait other people when let in a sat straight away but not use I asked a ginger hair young member of staff how long it would be (15mins had passed bay this point and 4 other group of two had be seat that came in after use) to be told you have to wait won't you can't you see I'm busy and if I'm not happy to leave

We eat here most Friday nights after work and have been very happy but this evening was terrible, it was busy but that's ok , we enjoyed the salad bar but we saw our pizza and cheesy fries sat under the heat lamp for over 15 minutes and 4 people looked at it and walked away when it did arrive it was Luke warm but when we tired the 1st slice it was almost cold. No one came to ask if the food was ok we both was hungry and the fries was so limp we left most of them my wife asked me not to say anything so we paid and left but we won't return for a long time. Maybe no one will do anything about this but staff training would help and working as a team would also help as the manager didn't seem interested at all

Popped in for lunch Sunday gone and had a triple pepperoni pizza. As soon as it arrived I realised it was absolutely saturated with oil and was so soft I had to use cutlery. I turned one slice on its side and watched the oil pour off. I knew I shouldn't have eaten it but I was starving. What a huge mistake. I have been throwing up for three nights in a row and this is my fourth day sick. I think it's safe to say that Pizza Hut is permanently off the menu.

My husband and I visited on 2/9/16. We were served by a polite waitress called Olivia. We didnt order much yet she treated us as well as a customer who placed a life order.The food arrived quickly. Warm tasty pizza. I have visited this pizza hut restaurant three times now. I will visit again.

Just as the title suggests.I entered the take away area and was greeted immediately and informed that someone would be with me momentarily, then someone was. I was told 10 mins until my pizza was ready and it was exactly 10 mins later I collected my pizza. The girl that served me was from Brazil. She was well presented and very polite. It may not have been a grand dining experience, but for just collecting take out, it was memorable.

Let me start right at the beginning. As we entered one of the assistant immediately asked the children to follow him he was oblivious to the fact we were with these two 8 and 10 year old boys and led them to a table in the middle isle on the end when we caught up I asked the chap if we could sit in a booth which he replied there was nt any free so we said that's okay we will order a drink and wait a while until one comes free as he turned to walk away a young girl to take order we had not even took out jackets of they are in so much of a rush we asked for a little time , I did expect to be asked again 3 min later so we ordered hurriedly not having time to really look at what was on offer I then spotted a booth free but just as I walked over the same chap that led us was taking a family to the booth so I did say to him you were supposed to be getting us a booth to my disbelief he stated he had not served us and was I sure it was him well first of all I do not have dementia and I have not recently had a bang to the head and I had my eyes tested last Sunday so I am fairly sure that this young man was the one confused and if he could not remember us from less than 10 minutes ago I think he needs to see someone about his memory but I did think he was a little strange the way he came across our 2 boys and basically ignored us so anyway we started to eat our meal when he then came across to our table and said I would have remembered you as I have a bad back but you never mentioned this so not only does he have memory issues he also has a hearing defect twice he came over to ask us to move once we had started eating which was very rude of him and has we were leaving he dared to glare at me so I am sorry to say we can spend our money anywhere and it now will not be with Pizza Hut due to their ignore staff

Visited here as a family for a takeaway pizza. No staff on the desk upon entering. Waited a good 5mins before anyone came to take our order! Waited quite some time for the pizza & the lady serving us was extremely rude. Not good customer service skills at all. She then proceeded to tell us that she was really busy. The actual restaurant had at the most 3 tables of customers with more than enough staff to attend to them. Absolutely appalled at the service we received & even more so when our 8yr old son had to witness how rude she was. Definitely will not be visiting here again!

Well the place looked clean until you picked up the plates, glasses !! Every item had water marks , and grubby finger marks ! I did pick up a spoon but quickly put it down again has it has been throught a wash , but still had contents of someone's meal attached !! Disgusting ! The pizza was swimming in fat ,and the meat feast was a joke !! Their was only a small amount of meat on their , enuff for one slice , not the whole pizza . On the plus side the salad bar food looked fresh . Won't be going back again !

Came here spur of the moment with two friends - the pizzas and puddings were fine, the usual you expect from Pizza Hut. And the service was friendly.What was a little bit off however was that whilst we were still sat in the restaurant, there was us and about 4 tables left, they turned all the lights off at the bar and the kitchen and kept flicking the house lights on and and off - like a signal to leave as they were ready to close. I work in hospitality myself and whilst its frustrating to have to wait to tables to leave I think turning the lights off whilst people are still sat in there is a bit poor.

Not much can go wrong, pizza, wine and service good value for the money. Not visited Pizza Hut in the UK for years - pricing/sizing of pizza now simplified.

We ate here before going to the Cinema. The staff are all great but the pizza (Veggie Hot One) was lacking in taste. We mentioned it to the manager and he did replace it with another one. A few people seemed to have issues last night. Mainly about the pizzas not getting cooked enough.The second one was much better. It tasted like Pizza Hut pizza (if that makes sense).I wouldn't let it put me off going again but I do except the Veggie Hot One to have lots of Chilli Heat.

group of 9, all had lovely pizza. Salad bar could have had a bit more choice but what was there was fresh and good. Lovely staff

I recently ordered pizzas to be delivered. They came very promptly and the pizzas were very hot but unfortunately there was so little topping on I won't be ordering again. These are very expensive pizzas so the least they can do is put plenty of topping on.

Visited yesterday with my boys. Service was very good. Starters were poor for the money. Pizza was delicious. The drinks glasses were filthy which was off putting. Toilets needed a tidy up too. No toilet roll in them. Overall ok but needs a bit of tlc.

Can't fault the food! It's absolutely beautiful! I always have the bacon cheesy breads to start! They are to die for!' & them a mean feast pizza with stuffed crusts! They're only down fall is the fact the plates are dirty. I had to ask for them to change it 3 times!! The under neath was discussing!! I can't complain about the service because all staff were friendly & smiley. So my only advice is get a better pot washer !!

After some terrible service at the ruddy duck in wakefield we decided ti come here for pizza! It was about half 7 when we got there and the two girld on that night were both lovely helpful and were really nice and chatty! They turned our evening around!

The Big Sharer was a brilliant deal for the pair of us. The salad bar and soda machine are great facilities. Service was very welcoming and friendly, and the food was well prepared.

Visited just after 5pm so buffet had just finished. Restaurant is clean and fresh looking. Service was very good as was the food. Food and drinks for 3 came to under £40

Went shopping at jct 32 and was getting late and my daughter suggested Pizza Hut for a late lunch or early dinner. We ordered the meal deal for 3 which included starters ( salad ) a pizza and sweet for £24.95, which was good value for money and was enjoyed by everybody. Had to que when we arrived as we expected, as it was Sunday early evening. Good value for money

Food is good and tasty. Great if you're using the buffet deal too as they constantly cook fresh pizzas at the counter. However you get asked what you want to drink and you have to fetch it yourself. So great with the kids or if you want to grab a quick meal. Would return again!

Booked for our daughter's birthday, the service was excellent. It was very busy being Saturday tea time but they let us book 2 tables as it was "not cool" for our daughter and her friends to sit with us!! The food was very good, well presented and good value although can't use Taste card Fridays and Saturdays. Still excellent value though with the young diners menu, unlimited salad bar, drinks and ice cream :)

Smashing place for a family meal. Friendly staff and good service. Some good 'meal deals' depending on the time of day.

Went to pizza hut for our dinner waited 10mins for a table to be expected, staff always come over before you look at the menu asking you for drinks, ordered food and drinks ran out of J20 so got something else, my son's dinner came not what we ordered as they had run out of fries and not told us so they put garlic bread on plate instead even the waitress never noticed. Shoddy service not impressed at all.
