Bare bones restaurant at high prices. Basically no service, all done via your phone. Lazy. Playing of their name from years gone by… such a shame. No way to order the pizza you want as the waiter can’t take your order. No way to get a drink as, again you have to do it through the app. Overpriced nostalgia that doesn’t make you want to go back.

Excellent service Darrel worked extremely hard through our visit from cleaning the floor to serving customers all woth a happy smile on his face Manager seemed to have mastered the art of management a well oiled machine Well done

Pizza Hut is so bad these days. Went to one in Glasgow after cinema with kids. Sat down got told once you are ready to order scan QR code which don’t work. Had to go and find a member of staff to ask if they could please take our order after waiting a good 10-15 mins and explaining that the QR code wasn’t working. Well she obviously could not be bothered to do that, it’s like it’s too much hassle for them to take an order. So they charge av£27 for a pizza and you have to do your own order because they can’t be bothered??! Wanting for girl for about 10 mins they got up and left. Absolute joke, no wonder it’s never busy! Also the seat we were given had bits of old pizza etc on the floor because they obviously can’t be bothered to clean either!

We had a family meal here with a toddler. Once we worked out the ordering via a QR code, which took a few minutes, we were away! Good food, with the salad bar back which was brilliant! Pizza quick and really tasty and the staff so helpful and around whenever you needed them. The slightly older lady was so lovely to my grandson and coukdnt have helped more! We were so happy to be back at The Hut! ❤🍕🍕❤

Good service with good food Major let down is price of regular drinks compared to diet as this punishes people who prefer normal drinks and also the fact of refusal to accept cash without any warning prior to sitting down and being pushed towards an app Completely lost its touch of customer faced service. Very poor choice from Pizza Hut HQ to go in this direction and will unfortunately push me away from coming again

I waited for twenty minutes for a server to come and take my order, I gave up in the end and used the QR code to order food to the table instead

You order from your phone and pay by credit card, i e. Name, address, long card number, etc. Why did we ever have Tap & Go ?!! If it's for Covid, well, st the salad bar you handle the sslad tongues that everyone else has. Also, The standard portions are on the small side for a grown man (more of a child portion) The food was good.

The service was ok. The food was ok. You order on the app every time you want something which is fine. Then you order it and tell you they no longer have a coffee machine !!! Would I like instant?? Tried to make a booking for my daughters birthday and was told they don't make bookings anymore it's first come first serve which I thought was ridiculous. Secondly there menu has been shrunk massively which they didn't bother to mention on the phone which is understandable with covid but still a tad annoying when your craving your favorite pizza and sides. Thirdly they told me upon arrival there were no fries left how does a pizza place run out of fries... really? Oh and no one will take your order as there too lazy you have to download an app and order and pay with your phone.... LAZY. Forthly the table had not been cleaned properly no condements were offered with the food and the sides were taken out the fridge and served cold Absolute joke of a restaurant if you love having to order your food through an app and having week old potato salad served freezing cold with nachos but no salsa or sauce this is the place for you Will not be returning the managers useless as well Avoid like the plauge in my opinion

As a reward for passing his exam that day, I took my husband for a pizza hut treat. We had the buffet since it was lunchtime. There was a good selection of pizza and pasta and the salad was great.

I have been to this Pizza Hut a couple of times, and to be honest, it doesn't wow me. The salad bar was okay, however, I wasn't a fan of the Potato Salad that was on offer as it tasted more like potatoes and a vinegar sauce rather than mayonnaise! was disappointed that the pasta wasn't apart of the salad bar anymore! The pizza is okay I had a Hawaiian Pizza without pineapple and the pizza did not have a lot of toppings on it! It's quite expensive for what it is and to be honest the pizza tastes like a ready made supermarket pizza! The service was not the best as the restaurant was low staffed and over stretched and it took a while to get served, there was a sign in the window saying "We're hiring" yet there were 3 members of staff in the restaurant, I think they need to hurry up and hire some more staff members!!!

My friend and I visited here on a Thursday for lunch and it was a lot busier than expected, but then remembered it is the school holidays so it makes sense, so it did take us a bit longer to be seated but wasn’t really an issue for us. We both decided to have the buffet that they run on weekdays as we believe it’s good value for money (£7.50 per person) and we had decided this before we got there. To our disappointment when we went up to get our food there wasn’t much pizza left apart from the ones that no one likes, and when there was a good one up there we wouldn’t have got any because we were seated around the corner and couldn’t see when new food was coming out, so it was all gone by the time we got there, which isn’t entirely the restaurants fault. When we did get some food it was okay, the only thing that was bad with it was that it didn’t have much pizza sauce on it and tasted weird because of this. Other than that one issue we enjoyed our meal out and would definitely recommend this Pizza Hut to others

We popped in on a Tuesday evening and were seated immediately. I ordered one of their epic meat feat pizzas on their new menu - it was new to me as I haven't been for a while due to previous experience of being left waiting and messy floors. My other half wanted the flatbread BBQ chicken (?) pizza but with no BBQ sauce, which they were able to accommodate. We both really enjoyed our meals and would happily have them again.

My family and me ordered a takeaway at this Pizza Hut and were told a 15-20 minute wait. When we arrived to collect it 20 minutes after ordering it still wasn’t ready. They kept telling us the kitchen is ramped it will be out soon. 50 minutes after ordering the pizza we asked to speak to Valarie the Manager. When she came she was so rude and nasty towards us. We tried explaining the situation but she wasn’t having any of it. The pizza then finally came and two pizzas were completely burnt and one pizza was completely wrong. We didn’t want to wait for a new order to be made so we asked for a refund. The manager Valarie didn’t like this and said we were being rude to her when we weren’t. She then asked us to leave the restaurant but we refused to until we got a refund. Eventually after over an hour of being there we finally got a refund. Avoid at all costs. Some staff are polite but on a whole we have had so many issues with this particular Pizza Hut it’s not worth going!! Oh and make sure you don’t get served by Valarie!!!

Went for a meal Sunday before visit to Showcase Cinema. Very dirty place. Staff uniforms filthy as was the floor. Food was cold and unappetizing! Had to sign receipt with a Crayon as they have no pens. Filthy hole , will never go back!!!!

I've been many times. The food is nice. However every time we go we have to wait for a table and take up to 30 minutes that's the only downside. Otherwise its a really nice place for family meal.

I believe we sat next to the family who referenced the cold temperature on Sunday. It was noticeably cold for my wife and me, as she kept her coat on and I kept my scarf on during the sitting. A more chilled atmosphere in a restaurant I can usually tolerate, but this was cold with cooling air blown from the vents above - and we indeed weren't the only people to feel the chill; many families left their coats and jackets on.

Went here for a family dinner. The staff were very polite and welcoming. We noticed straight away how cold it was and mentioned it to our waiter. He said maybe the air vent above us needed turning down. It was so cold we ate in our coats and after looking around I noticed half the other customers were wearing theirs too. Unfortunately our food didn't stay hot for long, due to how cold it was and we didn't feel like lingering. The last waiter we spoke to about the cold told us it was controlled by a third party who we were welcome to call. We asked for the bill, questioned why we were charged extra for changing the toppings on our pizza as we were not told this would incur an extra charge. They said some of the staff forget to mention this. It wasn't a lot, just annoying to have unexpected bits added on. Not planning a return visit.

We called in advance to book a table for my birthday 27/01/2018, Saturday Evening as the Grandkids wanted to go to Pizza Hut.

I rang up yesterday to try and book a table for saturday for my daughters birthday meal only to get a guy telling me they can't as they are busy informing me arrogantly that we could wait but there's no gurantee we'd get a table and to be honest we have booked elsewhere last time we came here the ice cream factory broke anyway so no loss booked prezzos now as staff aren't so rude your loss not ours.

This "restaurant" in nestled on a retail park. Not great for the city centre but perfect if going to the cinema.

This was the worse tasteless pizza I have ever had. My friends also agreed theirs just tasted of dough. Terrible! The only positive was the friendly staff. Will never eat there again. Just awful!

Decided to go to have a pizza which is most unusual for us. Well, what a surprise! From the welcome, to ordering, to receiving and eating the food, it was excellent.

Went and sat upstairs, the view is what makes it so great...the forecourt of a Shell garage, you can sit there and watch people fill their cars.

Went on the off chance. They could not do more to help us. Food was great. Salad bar was overflowing and always bring topped up. All staff very friendly. Told us about the up to date offers they had.i would and will be going back.

We went on a Tuesday. It was not really really busy so there was many free tables. Ordered two pizzas which did take a long time but it was fine. Salad was alright kept us busy while we waited for the pizza. One bad point is we had a plate that had not been cleaned properly . Pizza was fine overall good experience . It is quite expensive, nice to have as a treat now and again

Came out for what hopes to be a quiet meal but ended up sitting upstairs which seems to be where they put the families with loud children. Apart from that a typical Pizza Hut usual menu and pricing. Service upstairs also slow and staff seem to avoid being up there so was annoying when had to wait to order, get someone to find cutlery and pay at the end. Maybe they need to employ staff that don’t mind being in an area full of children who just want to play and have fun and not have to sit at a table quietly so people upstairs get served quicker. The one member of staff who did seem to be left with the task of running upstairs by himself was trying to do a great job it’s just a shame his colleagues pretty much left him to it offering little help apart from running back downstairs as quick as they could anytime they had to come up.

The pizzas from here are so much better than the ones you get from the take away shops. A greater variety of toppings and also a wider choice of sides.

I went there against The bad rating for this place , which I regret . You have to wait 35-45 min. to get a table and they do not accept rebooking. This gives you the false impression of a being very busy place but actually the are closing the 1st. floor!!

Went here as 2 families of 5 to enjoy a Saturday lunch. Ok table of 10 is awkward so 2 tables worked out ok. The place is a bit tired but was reasonably clean considering it was Saturday. Food service was poor really. Took a lot of time to actually send out the right food as wrong food was brought out. Some pizzas were ok, some were dry, some were really saucy. Generally not very good and don't intend to return.

Visited here before a watching a film for what we hoped was a nice quick meal, the latter was not the case. We ordered relatively quickly and the place was not full when we got there but they did seem a little short staffed. We helped ourselves to the salad counter which was good and seems to have maintained there standards compared to recent visit to Harvester. We had only ordered one pizza between us and it took around 45mins to arrive, One family appeared to get in order, eat and pay in the same time as it took us to wait for ours to arrive. When the pizza eventually arrived it was well cooked and tasty and plenty big enough for the two of us. The poor service continued and I had to go up to counter to ask for the bill and pay as it seemed they had forgotten about us. They need more staff to cope on a busy weekday dinner period.

Visited earlier this week for a late lunch. Its been 11 years since I ventured through the doors of a Pizza Hut! This place in Boongate was dreary and unwelcoming. Service was poor, slow and unfriendly. Food was ok, nothing special and its goes without saying I will not be returning! It was expensive for what it was too!

We decided to visit Pizza Hut for Dinner recently as we hadn’t been in a while, and boy were we glad we hadn’t come any sooner. The restaurant, once they let you in after the wait is very dated and tired. The tables and chairs look very used, and just the general décor inside looks very old. We went for some Garlic Pizza Bread to start off with, which was quite nice, in addition to the complimentary salad from the Salad Buffet, which wasn’t bad, but again the small plates not really suited to a mixture of salads, you just end up putting everything on top of each other. We then went for 2 Veggie Pizzas with a thin base, since I figured it is much cheaper to get 2 11’’ Pizzas at £10 each then pay £18 for a 13’’! The Pizzas were tremendously disappointing – the base was really with hardly any toppings. No taste or flavour, and light years away from the thin bases you would get at Pizza Express for example – even though the prices are similar.

My deep pan had a bit of a soggy bottom, too much sauce or pan not hot enough, who knows, but I enjoyed it anyway and the salad and dessert were good too. Great friendly service from Shamshir.

Damn they know how to do pizza! Went with the kids for a last minute treat, forgetting that EVERY day in a school holiday will be busy, so had a queue and wait, but was as always, worth it. Endless salads, endless drink, their new macaroni cheese BBQ pizza which is superb! Quick service, great grub, just the wrong side of pricey, but loved it.

We arrived at opening time on a friday, pleasant greeting grandchildren given crayons and things to colour in, quick polite service and the food was good.
