Papa John's in Peterborough

Surprisingly good. So much better than dominos. Closest I've had to an authentic Italian pizza in the UK.

In shop, cash no longer accepted, no sale. Staff were polite in explaining it was a management decision, but as this is a franchise chain its unclear whether thats head office or store manager level? EDIT: CASH NOW ACCEPTED AGAIN. They lost too much business, lol. Cash is king.

Another great pizza from Papa Johns Lincoln Road. The Thin Crust is the best pizza in Peterborough, quick service and with a smile!

Ordered my first Papa Johns on Friday. The man and the lady were so lovely to me, helped me with the orders and offers. The pizzas were very nice perfectly baked. Thank you again for your help ❤️

They delivered a cold pizza to me because the driver went to the wrong address. The driver was very rude. When I called them to say the pizza was cold, they suggested that I heat it up in the microwave today and they would give me a large pizza for free tomorrow when I came to pick it up.Avoid this place!!!!

Wrong drink sent, 500ml instead of 1.25L. And chunk of plastic in the Jalapeño Poppers, threw them away in case any others were contaminated.

the pizza itself was great even when lukewarm, unfortunately it was over an hour late but the man on the phone patiently explained they only have one driver , ended up getting a second pizza for free and garlic bread so all good in my eyes

Food was late luke warm and toppings well what toppings rang up to find out where my food was and met with a very rude it's on the way only ok bit was the delivery driver. Won't be ordering from here again

Still not arrived yet it says delivered - 2 hours late

ordered form here on uber tonight. placed the order at 6:57pm. was supposed to turn up at 7:40pm latest. however this did not happen. ended up calling the shop twice at 8pm and 8:30pm and ended up cancelling the order when it got to 9pm and still had not turned up. also did not get a refund for this.

My experience with this takeaway is horrible this is the second time this happened to me really late order and the food comes late

Really poor experience. Called them to be told 15 mins, then 30 mins later still no food. When it finally arrived, it wasn’t hot but just warm and the driver didn’t really have a care in the world. I won’t be rushing back!

Delivery time went from 25 minutes to over an hour and still hadn’t been delivered took a further 20 minutes before it arrived. The food was lukewarm when it arrived and the food was poorly topped.

2 pizzas £35 measly tiny bits of chicken and steak on pizza. Ripping hard working people off. Had better aldi frozen pizzas than this. Disgusting should be ashamed never again I'm getting it from here. Avoid if you don't want to get ripped off

Pre booked for kids tea, an hour and a half (should’ve been enough time). When delivery time arrived just eat app came up with enjoy your food. Half an hour later it finally arrived.

Food was all cold ordered at 8pm arrived at 9.30pm really poor quality

Ordered a pizza at 21:09 and was provided an estimated delivery time of 21:50 . Before this time the app stated that the pizza had been delivered when it hadn’t . 1st call to restaurant who confirm it’s being prepared . Delivery time changed to 22:20 and still no pizza and another call. Pizza finally shows at 22:52. No apologies when calling . By the time it arrived we had eaten other food and most of the pizza then went in the bin. No money refunded . Never again papa Johns

Food was 15 minutes late and came cold, had to warm up the pizza myself. delivery driver was polite and kind but the only good thing was the ice cream was cold which it should be.

Was okay, the cinnamon dessert was over cooked and the chicken bites were a bit undercooked but okay

I recently visited John's Pizza and had a fantastic experience. The restaurant had a welcoming atmosphere, and the staff were friendly and attentive. The menu had a wide variety of options, and I decided to try their signature pan pizza. The pizza was delicious! It shows delivery but I have not received my order

Ordered and paid over two hours ago and still waiting for our food! rang twice with no apology and person on the phone just kept delaying the delivery. Not impressed at all!!!!!

All could taste is dough 3 xl pizza. All no taste but dough. Thick deep pizza which wasn't ordered deep pan. So little basic topping cheese Tom ect. Was like eating oven cooked cheap bread. Didn't ring to complain as took hour to get here. Never again gone down hill. Cheaper and 10x better places all around. Worse pizza in so long all 3 were terrible so not an odd one. All 6 of us in. Group were appalled by quality

3 xl pizzas ordered, not deep pan but all came so thick of dough with a finest line of topping. Barely any cheese Tom or topping ordered. Tasted like oven cooked old bread. 6 of us in group and 5 said would never order here again. We didn't complain as took hour to get here and it wasn't a freak as all pizzas was the same. Papa John used to be worth paying for. Now the worst pizza in Peterborough but one of the most expensive. 35quid 3 truly shocking pizzas. 2.5 star on trip adviser average. I can see why

Food arrived Luke warm, pizza, garlic bread with mozzarella were both dry and poor quality. Chicken bites were soggy. Both myself and kids had the squirts afterwards. That was last time from here for us.

Revised delivery time after order but did arrive as estimated. Good pizza

I placed an order for delivery in 12 Nov. They then called and said they were unable to deliver, so I cancelled the order. I was told to expect a refund in a few days. It’s now 2 December and I have yet to see the refund. I called the store on Lincoln Road they told me I had the wrong store. She gave me the number to the second location in Peterborough. They then asked for my zip code, also said I had the wrong store and hung up on me. I don’t think I’ll get my refund. It’s upsetting how bad their customer service was, their lack of knowledge on how to proceed with this issue and overall unhappy disgruntled employee. Do not expect anything more than mediocre food, incredibly bad service with a side of the possibility of getting robbed.

Awful. Picked up a pizza today at 1pm and it's meant to be meaty. Not alot of meat for a "meaty" pizza but more importantly why is the pizza not going yo the edge?? I can see alot of base that's not been filled with toppings. Shocking quality. This isn't the first time either, Ely was the same. Worst pizza iv ever had

Whoever owns this papa John's franchise is seriously ruining the brand's strong international reputation by hiring clueless and rude staff. I would never go back to this place. Its a real shame. It should be some of the best takeaway pizza in the city. Embarrassing. One time they served me cinnamon dessert made with a garlic bread. And sniggered down the phone when i complained.

We at machine mart have been in and out of this pizza wonderland for the last 2 or 3 weeks. This is easily the top 3 best pizza places in Peterborough. Always friendly staff and the food is perfect everytime.

Absolutely disgusting service, ordered and paid for my food online, the shop is round the corner from my house, was on its way, an hour later still waiting for delivery, shop was no help, driver had the audacity to say "Enjoy" as she handed me a freezing cold pizza, complained to customer services, not heard anything back. Avoid Papa John's like the plague!

I made the order for a pizza through the app... It said the pizza will arrive within 30-40 minutes... I waited for an hour and half and still no pizza... Used the app to send a message to the shop but no response. So I called them and they said their driver was in traffic. This was a bit hard to believe because of the time of day I ordered it and it was hardly 10 min from my place.. they asked me to wait another 20 minutes which made me think that they had not yet even cooked the food... I waited another 40 minutes before the food arrived... So it was a total of more than 2 hour wait before I got my food .. ove ordered from places that are farther away and have gotten the food on time, if not earlier... Not ordering from them again...

Another problematic place the person was not ready to give deal even it was on leaf let says need to go online and place order and the deal is only for online where as nowhere it was mentioned on the leaflet online deal and from same he was ready to give one deal but not another deal In the name of hygiene not at all it was the person who was making pizza didn't wore gloves and not cleaning hand after touching meat the people who eat vegetarian how can they eat when he use hands and don't wash or clean in-between need to wear gloves

Best pizza I ever had. The delivery guy was very friendly and came at sharp time. The pizza was enough hot to enjoy. Our whole family likes papa johns pizza in Peterborough.

Got a notification to say ‘enjoy your meal’ pizza had not arrived waited 15 minutes and still nothing, called the restaurant and they said it would be 15-20 minutes as it was in the oven!!! Asked why they had said it was delivered when it was not even ready, they said it was not them that notified me when the pizza eventually arrived. Over 1 hour late , there was no apology and pizza was cold. Shocking service will not be ordering from them ever again

Awful. Waiting over an hour and a half for food. On a Thursday night around 7pm. Rang up the store and was told I will have to wait at least another twenty minutes. Won't be ordering again. Appalling service.

They didn't come at all and they wrote that food was delivered what a donuts.....

Ordered 4 papadias and asked for no jalapenos on any. One of them came with them on and although I picked them out they could still be tasted so that one was wasted. Rest were ok but toppings were a little space compared to other papa John's I've ordered from again.

Can’t give less than one star but this place is perhaps the worst place on the earth to order pizza from. 2 hours for 1 pizza where on earth is it coming from?? Direct from Italy??? I could of crawled on my knees to this pit for my food and back home again before my order arrived. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!

Food was alright but order turned up about an hour late

Poor experience repeatedly called and told on its way 45 mins later no pizza and no one answering the phone over 1 1/2 hours late and the pizzas arrived. This will be the last time not a single apology at any point. Pizzas were not hot either, I don’t like to leave poor reviews when I give the opportunity for them to put it right. Clearer communication and honesty would have been nice.

Pizza very small and very expensive for a "large". Quality is barely adequate to poor. Chicken poppers look like big nuggets on picture, turn up as tiny nibbles and the price is ridiculous! Overall this would have been OK for £9.99 including the drink. As it was, 1*

Terrible. Got a warm pizza at best with no time to eat it now as I have to get to work myself. Ordered two hours ago and it’s only just turned up. Never ordering here again and what a waste of money as now going to work hungry.

I won’t be getting from them again. The prices are extortionate and the cheese was tasteless. It was greasy just really horrible.

Do not order from these! Waited a whole hour for the pizza called asking where was my pizza and the driver was making excuses saying he tried to call me 5 times when I had my phone in my hand the whole time.
