I've just received two burnt pizzas

Previous review 5 stars , it's absolutely gone to the dogs now, must have changed management. Used to laugh at people ordering dominos when there was this place. Staff don't give AF anymore, pizzas crap , fries are crap , and the prices have gone 30% ish higher for far worse food. Go back to whatever you are doing 2 years ago.

What had happened. When I was younger papa luigi was the go to. The quality always outshine domino's. Now.... Overcooked, so salty that you can't taste the meat, massive air bubbles in the dough. Thinnest layer of cheese possible. Gutted.

Arrived very fast, pizza still hot and tasted good. Highly recommend.

Hoy he pedido una pizza con entrega a domicilio. Como siempre añadí un mensaje para que la pizza llegara caliente. Llegó frío y el interior era repugnante con el sabor de la basura y la comida vieja. Nunca volveré a comer comida de ellos porque comer cualquier cosa resultará en una revolución y dolor de estómago. Olvidé añadir que la pizza olía a vómito. Deberías darle a este lugar una amplia litera.

Great to have gluten-free pizzas on offer but only one size is available and it was a bit like cardboard, the downside of gluten-free presumably. Great choice of toppings. Service was slow at peak time, the staff made no attempt to engage with customers.

Papa Luigi - Dial A Pizza 957 Lincoln Road by side of peterborough FC stadium. Ordered a kebab meat ( more like cereal and god knows what else ) and chips. Meat was large thick greasy slices chips not much better. I have had many a kebab over the years first time i just could not eat it. i threw whole lot in bin after a few bites.

The first and last time I order from here pizza was dry bland and extremely salty dinner ruined unfortunately

One of the many typical takeaways on Lincoln Road, so don't expect luxury and 5 star service and atmosphere. But where Papa Luigi shines above many is the food. Large tasty, freshly cooked portions at good prices. All great and definitely 5 🌟

We were told 40 minutes for delivery when we placed our order via the phone at 7pm. We had to ring three times to check on delivery and it was nearly 9pm by the time the food arrived. They said they were short on drivers but by the time the food came the garlic bread had gone rock hard and the order was still missing the extra pepperoni requested. When I asked for some money back they refused and said they will offer me a discount next time but I explained there won’t ever be a next time after such an awful experience and poor quality food.

Place has either been taken over or the foods gone to pot. Got a couple of Frisbees and tasted like it too. 2 for 10 is now 2 for 12 .

this pizza place used to be great but recently the food has been hit and miss, last time i ordered they took an hour and a half to deliver then even though i paid by paypal they knocked on my door twice asking for money accusing me of not paying, them when i proved i paid i didnt even get an apology will order somewhere else from now on

Every other week, we find ourselves placing an order with Papa Luigi, and we must say, the quality of both the food and service is excellent. The delivery times are excellent too. I've had pizzas from here for decades!! However, I think there must be changes somewhere because it's not the same. I order a New York, but I hate sausage. I always ask not to have that but replace with more salami. The last FOUR times there is the dreaded sausage. I've only eaten half the pizza these last 4 times. Never again, shame really.

Seen a deal on there website ordered the deal they delivered the food and its completely wrong I tried to call the place and they was having none of it calling me a lier on the phone I told them I want the delivery guy to come back and collect the food and my money back he said no throw the food ! This place has gone down hill poor delivery times and cold pizza. This may have been a one off but its the last time I order from hear. This business should remember YOU can cook and deliver 100s of good pizzas It only takes 1 bad one to loose customers.

Don't usually write many reviews but I need to do this one. The food use to be excellent a couple of years ago but now, all the family gets sick after a take away. You have lost a customer. NEVER AGAIN.

Ordered a pizza within about 1.5 hours of closing. With less than half hour left I called because nothing arrived. They hadnt even done the pizza. I could tell from the asian guy he couldn't be bothered to talk. How rude!! Can be bothered to take £20 though. With hardly any time left they rushed the pizza's out and guess what.. heated up rubbish. I can tell from the rubbery texture of the cheese. I was definitely NOT fresh, so don't even try to insult my intelligence. I will not be ordering from this lazy lot again. I'll be using Dominoes instead. Trash service!

Food was awful it turned up freezing cold and rock hard we throw it in the bin as it also tasted Werid I’ve never had a pizza that tasted so bad I phoned up the restaurant and whoever I spoke to was extremely rude and didn’t care that the food was cold and put the phone down on me. I’ve used papa Luigi for years and I won’t be going back!

If I could leave no stars I would!! Discussing behaviour from a member of staff on the phone. After ordering our £100 order for a Pacific time the order was delivered 30 minutes later. After calling and mentioning the order was 2 hours earlier they said you have to take the order or do what you like, put it in the bin, I’m not bothered. After using the Lincoln road store for so me my year we won’t be any more. I understand this is has new owners. Keep away, not as it was.

Why’s the pizza so bad recently compared to before has it changed owners or staff?

I appreciate that's it's probably very busy as it's Xmas eve but when I order a pizza I expect to get the fresh cooked pizza I ordered instead of a re heated pizza that you can clearly see they have taken off the original toppings and replaced them with the toppings that I ordered! And the main reason I know its re heated is bcoz the dips I ordered where also in the box and had shrivelled and burst during the re heating process & pizza was chewy!!! Plus was also missing 1 dip!! Very disappointed as have never ever had a bad experience here hench the 3 star review

Ordered a donner in naan and cheeseburger. The amount of grease from the kebab was disgusting, I Ordered no salad but asked for chilli and garlic sauce...where was it. Won't return to you guys again. Oh and chips were soggy

Got a mixed kebab and fries. Kebab was very tasty, chicken cooked perfectly, nice and moist but charred on the outside and donar was tasty. Chips were hot and crispy and very nice. Will definitely be back when next in the area.

Had the best vegan pizza from here. It was so tasty and loaded with toppings. Definitely didn't feel like I was missing out on what use to be a favourite meal from pre vegan days.

Went in for lunch, the stinch of rapeseed fried oil was overwhelming, we ordered a vegetarian lasagne and a kebab. That was not lasagne, not eadible, nothing to do with Italian food, and the kebab was absolutelly disgusting. You do what you want but me and my mate have just black listed this shop. Never again will we buy here.

Ordered a pizza on 23rd December for collection (as they do not deliver to my area). Collected and was very disappointed to open the box to find burnt veg on the pizza, ham was also burnt but pepperoni was ok, peppers were chargrilled and burnt cheesy garlic bread. Emailed because to go back would have been a nuisance being over a train line. Assumed/ expected to get a reply apologising but a month later i still havent had a reply. Really disappointing when you really look forward to a treat pizza from a place you always used to love!!

Used this place for last 15 years and now I will be stopped! Last few times pizza was really bad, never get what you asking, it's not really point to ask for extra because you don't gonna get. Extra or not, no different!! And today I was asking for barbeque chicken with extra barbeque chicken and what I get, pick and mix with chicken, no barbeque sauce, dry and no tasty. Really disappointed and this was last time I use!!!!

A few years ago this was the only place in Peterbough I would go for pizza, but I had it last night and I have never seen a pizza so greasy it was swimming in the box, I also was charged like £5 more than normal for some reason, I asked for 3 12” pizzas for collection (usually around £17.50) and I was charged £22.50 and when I got my pizza I asked for a bottle of coke and the guy behind the counter said I’d have to buy 2 (at £3 each) to be able to use my card, sorry guys but I won’t be coming back again

I had purchased a selection of pizzas and sides with my partner the other night. Both of us were incredibly unwell for the rest of the night and the following day, soon after we had consumed the pizza. My advice would be to swerve Papa Luigi as if it had covid. Hope this helps, Unknown

I’ve got a Dominos right on my doorstep that I usually use as a treat for my kids but I received a leaflet through the door for Papa Luigi’s. As it was a Tuesday and National Pizza Day I decided to give them a try as they do 3 for Tuesday for £16 and I thought, bargain. I ordered on line with a charge for £1 to deliver to Hampton which I thought was more than reasonable. The pizza’s turned up in about 30 mins, delivery person was very polite and the pizza boxes were steaming as he took them out of the insulated bag. Each pizza came with 2 toppings as part of the deal and I’ve honestly got to say, wow, they were really tasty, the base was perfect (thin base) toppings were generous and an all round tremendous pizza. Papa Luigi you’ve gained a regular customer as I won’t go any where else now. Job well done.
