just eaten here 11th june 2024 ,i ve eaten here many times ,but last couple of years it s nearly doubled in price ,how expensive can flour and water be !? ,payed £87 for three pitza s ,food was dire !,our stuff crust was paper thin no or little cheese in the crust and really greasy ,i have honestly had much better from supermarket ! ,don t waste your money here ,i will never go back ,......

Bare bones restaurant at high prices. Basically no service, all done via your phone. Lazy. Playing of their name from years gone by… such a shame. No way to order the pizza you want as the waiter can’t take your order. No way to get a drink as, again you have to do it through the app. Overpriced nostalgia that doesn’t make you want to go back.

Excellent service Darrel worked extremely hard through our visit from cleaning the floor to serving customers all woth a happy smile on his face Manager seemed to have mastered the art of management a well oiled machine Well done

Pizza Hut is so bad these days. Went to one in Glasgow after cinema with kids. Sat down got told once you are ready to order scan QR code which don’t work. Had to go and find a member of staff to ask if they could please take our order after waiting a good 10-15 mins and explaining that the QR code wasn’t working. Well she obviously could not be bothered to do that, it’s like it’s too much hassle for them to take an order. So they charge av£27 for a pizza and you have to do your own order because they can’t be bothered??! Wanting for girl for about 10 mins they got up and left. Absolute joke, no wonder it’s never busy! Also the seat we were given had bits of old pizza etc on the floor because they obviously can’t be bothered to clean either!

Haven’t been in years and won’t go again! Chunks of sharp plastic in the coleslaw and ‘nothing they can do’! Expensive and had better pizza from the co op! Floor around the salad bar was disgusting. Only good thing was the lovely lad that served us.

Terrible front of house. We were ‘greeted’ by a staff member telling us it would be 30 min wait as they didn’t have tables that could have a highchair. The tables that did allow highchairs had no highchairs used. Someone obviously hadn’t managed the arrangements properly. We were offered a booth and because my children were hungry and we were over half hour away from home agreed to try. I suggested could we move once a ‘highchair friendly table’ became available and the reply I got was if you haven’t ordered as the food would come here. I’m not a genius by any standards but surely you could tell the kitchen staff, it’s not a big issue surely. So I proceeded to say well you’ve gave tables to ppl without children at the ‘highchair friendly tables’ so anyone coming in with children can’t sit down which I think she took offence to and abruptly said I’m not allowing you to sit and not order for half hour an hour. As soon as she said this we left. Absolutely appalling service with a lack of problem solving. When we did leave I saw a table that could have easily had a chair taken away and highchair in its place.

impossible to get a table booked and when you attend as a walk in you are told 30-60 min wait which isnt ideal when you have a child with Autism and adhd. They say it is due to being busy when actually they dont open the upstairs and never have enough staff on. Real shame as the children love going there.

Absolutely awful that we walked out. It felt dirty and unkept. I could t imagine eating anything from there. My daughter went to the toilet which is in the now unused area upstairs, I went and waited for her to come out only to hear a staff member tell the manager I stood upstairs like I am suspicious. You have to order your own food via your phone through their website. Takes away the point of eating out. Half of what you pay for is the service. What I pay for anyway. Certainly always tip on good service. This was so bad I couldn’t sit there and buy there over priced food. £22.99 for margerita 11” pizza. Not surprised it was almost empty and won’t be long till it closes down

Met by a rude manager on arrival. Told I MUST pay via the app at the table ! I don't want to use the app , I don't have a smart phone. After some discussion she said 'well I could pay via card at the till if I need to' I found her manner very unwelcoming. Shown to our table & sat down. Manager walked off without saying anything. As it was a buffet we got up to help ourselves to be stopped in my tracks by the manager who bellowed at me 'have you paid?' err paid ? I've not eaten anything yet ! At no point did she tell me I had to pay at the till BEFORE eating, she just sat us down & walked off obviously unhappy I didn't want to pay via the app. The only plus point was the pizzas were hot, tasty & replenished quickly but the plates for pizza & salad bar are child sized for some reason ?!! The staff seem to amble about with nothing to do but swipe the plates off the table as soon as you put your fork down & loiter making you feel uncomfortable. I won't be rushing back I'm afraid.

Staff were welcoming, explained in detail how to order what we would like from table and nice staff showed us immediately to a nice table. As it was lunchtime we decided on buffet, grandson loved it and I had a lot of the lovely range of salad with couple of slices of fresh pizza. Everything was tasty and fresh. Was happy to see at the soft drink station some Robinsons squash, nice! All in all we had great time.

terrible, most of it was eaten by dogs because it was impossible to eat , a lot of oil, I dont buy anymore

I went there with my grand DOUGHTER Never again grumpy manager was so rude my son Come to pick us up she did not let hım join our table and ask hım not sit wait standing and when he aşk her name to complain she did not give her name and push hım out restaurant front of his DOUGHTER she stressed out cry all Day staff iş good other than rude manager

Pizza Hut has become so impersonal with the new cashless app ordering system. There was no need for staff to even really be there as I used the buffet and did everything myself. Pre paying through the app and asking for a tip before I’ve even had my meal is disgusting. The salad bowls are so small it’s ridiculous. You can only fit a couple of cucumber slices each time you go up. The bottomless drinks are sugar free only and just one glass of regular drink is the same price as the bottomless ones. It’s just not value for money any more. Didn’t enjoy the experience at all and won’t be returning in a hurry. We are not a cashless society so stop forcing it on us. It will be to your detriment.

Ate at pizza hut tonight. The pizza was covered in to much tomato sauce the cheese wasn't real mozzarella. I ordered a pepperoni feast that had only 8 pieces of pepperoni on it. As a side I ordered onion rings that were dry and had no real onion in. Very dissatisfied and won't be eating here again. This was a chesterfield pizza hut.

While we were eating the pizzas we found a hair strand in pizza’s cheese layer we would have inhabited it had it only been in one of our pizzas but we found another hair in another pizza we ordered. We went and called Pizza Hut and they said they can’t do anything since there was less that 8 slices of the 10

We went for a family pre cinema meal, the tables and chairs were sticky, the decor worn, cardboard boxes out on display (not pizza boxes big large packing type boxes) it smelt greasy, bathroom schedule not filled in … so didn’t know if they were checked. It felt so worn and grimy. Pizza was good and the staff were very friendly.

Service was ok, food was bad and the manager on shift, Valarie i believe i heard the team say was SO rude to her staff and other guests, thinks the world of herself.

Myself and wife attended this place and where first shown to a table for two which you would expect as there was only two of us, however that side of the restaurant was very busy and the table for two space for setting in extremely small, the chap who I can imagine was a team leader of Manager due to his dress code just left us there and walked away.We tried to fit in however it was impossible so I went and found the Manager and asked to be moved which he did. During all this time there was no smiling face of gesture of any form of customer service..We ordered our food and when it arrived it all looked good the wife enjoyed her pizza however mine was like eating cardboard. The service from start to finish with an overcharge on the bill was appalling luckily my wife spotted the extra charge and had that removed. Shame a good night spoiled.

Attempted to visit with my daughter after a visit to the cinema. As there was only 2 of us, we were told it would be a 20 minute wait for a table. They had plenty of tables available. A family of 3 behind us were told the same. None of us was prepared needlessly for 20 minutes. Perhaps some customer service training wouldn't go amiss. Obviously they are not paid for bums on seats. If the manager is happy that customers are being fobbed off from a half empty restaurant, good luck.

Me and my boyfriend ordered from Pizza Hut on Thursday night after debating Pizza Hut or Dominoes.. Major regret! We ordered 2 Pizzas, chicken strips and 2 cookie doughs. We was both so disgusted as the food took 1 hour and 30 minutes to get to us for a start, secondly the Pizza and chicken were both cold it was just too unpleasant to eat, and thirdly the cookie dough had so much salt on it that it made us both feel very sick after a few bites. I would give the advice out that if you even debate between Pizza Hut and Dominoes it would always have to be dominoes as it all come hot and a lot less salt on the Dominoes cookies that are actually hot too!! So appalled by your food Pizza Hut.

We visited at around 5pm on a weekday. Got seated instantly & our menus were given to us & explained by a very polite waiter. The restaurant was on average clean, could have been better. The salad bar was a little tired, but ok. We all shared one large pizza with a side of cheesy chips (yummy!) & onion rings. This was adequate for us as a family of 4. The food was hot & tasty. The children had dessert, the usual ice cream factory, which they thoroughly enjoyed. All in all the meal was enjoyable, but nothing special.

We visited as a family after watching a movie at the showcase cinema nearby.The entrance was odd being at the rear but that gave us a chance to walk around and look in and see there were lots of free tables.We were so surprised to be told then that there was a 10 minute wait for a table.After waiting about 15 minutes we were led past the route to the nice area still with lots of space to a plastic area. We then had to walk past 5 empty tables to be dumped in the corner next to a family of 10 including 3 noisy toddlers.Not their fault they had a right to be there but there was No excuse to cram us in the corner with them.Much lifting of kids in the air and food all over the floor.I asked the manager but he gave no satisfactory explanation.I can only assume he took one look and made an immediate judgement call.A little like the film pretty lady I shall return alone in my suit, wait to be seated then walk out.Crass arrogence and ignorance spoiled our family trip out. He should be ashamed.Visited 2nd october 7.30 pm

In the area so popped in to see if we could get a table and had to wait 20mins which was fine. Got shown to table but waited approx 15 mins before someone came to take our order (even just drinks would have sufficed) but service after that was ok. Food arrived in sufficient time and have no complaints about the food. There was however insufficient cutlery, napkins and empty condiments on the table. My main complaint here is that the restaurant was really cold which makes for uncomfortable dining and you just want to eat and get out. It wasn't just us as I saw others In The restaurant with coats on and girls sitting with arms crossed or in laps trying to keep warm. Not sure whether it was from the main door being constantly open and closed or the air con but either way it's something they need to review. I certainly won't be going back in haste.

What can you say. Pizza hut is pizza hut. Good dependable service and pizzas were enjoyed by my grandchildren and I. Ice cream factory is always a hit with the kids.

went today for the lunch buffet...entered and guided to table by i assume the manager bases in his uniform...garbled message guess he meant someone would come to take our order...waited...waited and waited...only 4 -5 table with people on...staff at bar chatting no order taken...10 mins gone so went up and started buffet and drinks...luckily only having soft drinks which are self service...had a few plates then asked someone to take our order so a bill could be generated!! pizzas ok to good noticeable that the meat pizzas werent as common coming out as vegie / cheese only....

Mid week visit with gran kids as treat after movies. Had to wait a while for table, upstairs not being used, not many staff cleaning and serving, need more staff especially as school holidays and lunchtime.

We visited mid week in the evening and was surprised at how busy it was. We wanted a table for two and was advised we would have to wait 20 mins, this was fine but was frustrated when another couple came in and got seated / and served before us, seems we had been forgotten about. Love Pizza Hut but find the Milton Keynes restaurant is much more pleasant.

It's been a while since I visited a Pizza Hut and although they've revamped the menu, o was disappointed with the food. The pizzas were very dry and tough and lacking in flavour. The best part of the meal was the free salad bar.

Have been here a few times and I am always happy with the service and food. I went last time for a birthday party and the staff went out of their way to make the occasion enjoyable. I only asked them to put the cake in a safe place but they brought it out with candles lit and singing 'happy birthday'!! Great, fun place with lovely staff.

Pizza hut is walking distance from The Hub Budget Hotel. We walked to Pizza hut for family meal. Pleasant, clean and good ambiance. The waitress was friendly - though the man at reception annoyingly kept addressing me as " Buddy".Whilst we waited for our order - Noticed that with main meal one has unlimited to free salad - The array of salad items had good selection with four different types of dressings.Pizza did take some time to arrive at the table. One cannot beat Pizza quality from Pizza hut.Good ambiance and recommend Pizza Hut.

Visit so often with friends, family and boyfriend! The food is always brilliant, the salad bar is always fresh and tasty, the staff are mostly polite only once have I had a bad staff member, but otherwise they're all lovely, attentive and super friendly! Favourite thing is the lunch time buffet which I highly recommend

We went to pizza hut with our son and his girlfriend it was a really enjoyable visit friendly staff, food was fantastic very quick service would recommend.

Visited here for a quick buffet lunch, food was good and food area was generally clean. Service was a bit hit and miss, waitress cleared our table and drinks whilst we was getting food not realising we was still sitting there and took a while to order drinks. Food was tasty and plenty of different choices of pizza with fresh ones regularly coming out.

I've reviewed this place previously and happily gave it the thumbs up. One year on and things seem to have gone downhill. It was my little boys 6th birthday (we came here for his 5th and he wanted to return because it had been so enjoyable the first time.) We were greeted by a man who i believe to be the manager, sadly i can't remember his name. He was abrupt, rude and lacking in customer service skills. Maybe we caught him on an off day?! We had booked an upstairs table over the phone only to be told that the upstairs section was now closed. Strange considering during our visit other people went upstairs to eat. We overlooked it even though we were now crammed in a corner with very little room. Luckily the waitress was friendly enough and our order came without any problems. The food was as expected - tasty enough. The whole restaurant was quite dirty, glasses needed cleaning as did cutlery before being used. Overall a grubby feel in a restaurant that's seems is not being ran as well as it could be. Shame!

Waited 15 mins for a table, despite there being loads of spare, empty, unused tables. Then when food eventually ordered and received, was absolutely disgusted at the presentation and flavour. Pizza was slightly burnt around the edges and the 'cheese' used in their extortionately over-priced cheese 'n' chips and chips 'n' cheese appeared to be the bargain-basement-budget-buy (some of us poor souls were subjected to in our school lunches in the 80s) squeezy type cheese called 'Primula' which was then sprinkled with what appeared to be chilli powder or cayenne pepper?! Bizarre! Absolutely hated the meal for a family of four which, with drinks, came to an astonishing £81.00!!! On top of all of this, the staff never bothered to ask if our meal 'was ok' - good job really! NEVER GOING TO PIZZA HUT EVER AGAIN!

Usually don't have a bad word for Pizza Hut but this place.. It was dirty from the forks to the glasses! Everything looked like it needed a good wash The Service was poor, after waiting 10 minutes we had to go ask for someone to take our order. No salad bowl given even tho we ordered off the menuWhen the food eventually arrived it was warmish with very dry chicken. Wouldn't go back to this restaurant

Visited this Pizza Hut for the first time today. Really wished we hadn't, this particular Pizza Hut wasn't for us.It looked like an American diner theme, that wasn't our style but it would have been ok to get a good pizza. Went to the salad bar, that was one big put off!! It was getting low on most things and some of the things were getting mixed up with people dropping things I suppose, it looked like it needed a good wipe down too.Saw our pizza sitting on the counter ready to come to us, but they seemed understaffed so it would have been quicker to go and pick it up myself. It wasn't as hot as I would have had if i'd have ordered a take away, so that wasn't very impressive.The sharing pizza with different toppings on either side didn't work out too well, they were not kept completely seperate. I did speak about this to the manager and she said it can't really be helped. But last week we went to a different pizza hut with exactly the same toppings and this problem didn't happen there.The staff were friendly enougth but they were surely understaffed. I suppose in my opinion it was more of a young persons designed Pizza Hut, not a happy relaxed style.

A pizza is a real treat and today was treat day! We decided on Pizza Hut as we love the variety they offer and the food is always good. Well we weren't disappointed. It took about 15 minutes for us to be seated in an empty upstairs however when we learnt there was only one waitress working the tables upstairs this made sense.The young lady was excellent and done all she could to accommodate us even though she had a lot of tables to serve.We chose the sharer meal with a large pizza, 3 sides, unlimited salad and cookie and ice cream for dessert.My boyfriend likes his food but this even defeated him. The food was tasty and hot.I would certainly recommend this Pizza Hut. The only small complaint I would have is that whilst the young girl was working really hard, her male colleague spent most of the time making sure his hair was in place!!Overall a great place to eat.

I don't rate Pizza Hut take away, but their restaurant service is on another level. Me and a friend were seated in the nice quiet part of the restaurant near the window, in a lovely little booth. We were seen to within a few minutes, but decided we needed a little more time to pick what we wanted. The waitress was super friendly and suggestive. The food came pretty fast and was hot and very tasty! The price was very reasonable too! Would definitely go again.

Stopped here after a family trip to the cinema last night but wished we hadn't. The waiter that led us to a table didn't have any personality and he sat us on a table under a speaker so we couldn't hear ourselves think, we moved to another table. The table was grubby but we couldn't be bothered to move again. The whole place looked like it could do with a makeover. We tried the salad bar but it seemed that half of the food was missing so I gave up. My wife had some stale nacho's. We each ordered a pizza and when thye turned up they looked like the base had been cooked and then everything had been thrown on as it was about to make its way to the table. I haven't been in a Pizza hut for at least 5 years and I will certainly not be going back, especially to this one. What a complete an utter disgrace of a restaurant. 2

Nice food , very attentive staff. Nothing is too much trouble . Cleanliness is spot on. Would recommend to anyone. Just not when we are here .

Turned up 30 minutes earlier than booked & had to wait 20 minutes for a table to be ready. People who hadnt booked told there was a 45 minute wait. Got seated only to find lots of tables free, it just took someone 20 minutes to put cutlery in a bucket & show us to a table. Had to wait another 20 minutes for someone to be bothered to take our order. The waitress didn't bother to write down the order - twice I had to ask her if she was listening, she was more interested in drawing rabbits to an unimpressed 18 month old. She came back to ask what pizza I'd ordered & then I went upstairs to toilets which were dirty & all tables upstairs free!?! Food turned up minus garlic bread & fries cold. I refused to pay for those as by the time new sides arrived, we'd eaten. No one wanted to take our money - I should walked out in hindsight. Food was nice, it's a real let down the staff have to be there. Self service or 5 year olds would do better.

We have been to this branch of Pizza Hut 3 times now and, like the title says, I find this place very hit and miss. The first visit our party of 5 was squeezed onto a table meant for 4. I know the restaurant was busy but hardly made for a good dining experience. The food however was great. The 2nd time we got seated at a large booth upstairs, far more suitable, but one of the pizzas had to be sent back as all of the toppings were on one side, leaving the other side almost bare. The staff knew it wasn't right as they quickly brought out a replacement but why even send out a poor one in the first place?On the last visit I ordered a drink from the bar rather than using the drinks station. This didn't turn up until after the food was at the table. We actually had to remind the staff about the drink, pretty sure they had forgotten it. The food was lukewarm at best and they took a while bringing all of the dishes for the party to the table. In general the restaurant could do with a bit of tlc. The toilets are never that clean, often lots of tissue on the floor or toilets dirty. There are crayon scribbles on the wall downstairs near the fire exit and the wall damaged where the door to the baby changing room has hit it.

Visited pizza hut Peterborough for lunch. Had no problem getting a seat and soon found out why. Was sat in badly laid out area and had to sit directly under a low hanging light squashed next to another table. The table was old and not very clean the whole place could do with a complete makeover. Ordered our pizza and coffee when the coffee arrived the mugs were filthy, they did not look as if they had been washed with staines inside and out and lip marks around the top. One of the mugs had a crack right down the side inside and out and could not be missed because they looked black. I returned them and was sold the stains were from the coffee spilling over the top and the crack was ok it wont break. We recieved another couple of coffees, the mugs were clean but were so hot you could not hold them, i suspect because the coffee was not that hot the transferred the old coffee into new mugs and then nuked it. We went to get our salad but first we had to find a clean bowl, one i picked up had not been washed and others looked no better we picked up ice cream bowls instead. We had to dig down into the salad bit to get fresher bit from the bottom as the top looked as if it jad been out for hours. The cucumber tasted totally revolting.The kid ice cream area we such a mess if i had had children there would be no way they would have had any. The pizza arrived and was well over cooked, the pepperoni in top was black and hard and the pizza base was wet and greasy.We will not visit this pizza hut again until they bulldoze it and rebuild it.its that bad. As for the staff i dont think they care, they did not look the part, scruffy with no pride. The prices have gone up and for what i spent i could have eated much more upmarket than we did here.

The service was pretty good but the restaurant is a poor advert for the brand. The floor was dirty with food particles and the windows were filthy. Management need to tidy the place up.

The food was good and the service was great. Good for a family lunch. The member of staff did get our order wrong but this was corrected immediately and apologized.

We decided after the cinema yesterday that we would try Pizza Hut (we usually go Frankies and Bennies)Got the Pizza Hut to see there was a big wait, 20 mins for a table. Got called up and sent upstairs only to find that apart from a birthday party we were the only ones up there! Seemed because the poor waitress was alone up there they couldn't fill the seats. Plenty of waiters downstairs though!!Ordered the sharer, which was 8 slices of pizza, garlic bread with 2 sides and pudding. It was me, my mum and my 9 year old niece. So plenty between us. Ordered 2 refillable drinks and a coffee for my mum. As well as an extra ice cream for my mum (only 2 with the sharer) Waitress said she would bring salad bowls over for us, 10 mins later still nothing so had to find her own. (She was trying to do everything herself bless her)Salad was great, no complaints at all. The drinks had awesome options for different flavoured drinks such as Cherry, Strawberry and Vanilla flavoured pepsi, 7up and tango! The salad and drinks were the best part of the whole experience i'm afraid. Mum's coffee was cold and disgusting so she left it all.The meal finally came out. 1/2 triple pepperoni and half cajun chicken. Along with garlic bread, popcorn shrimp and fries. We ordered the cheesy fries but asked for the sauce on the side as my niece doesn't like it. Anyway, the fries came out covered in the sauce, but the poor waitress told the kitchen to send more out with the sauce on the side. Went to eat the food AND.... it was all cold!! The pizza, the fries, the garlic bread and the shrimp! The cheese sauce was that cold you could put your finger straight in it. We were disgusted. We never complain at food but we had to mention it to our waitress. We ate what we could (was not waiting another 20 mins for food) 10 mins late the replacement fries came out. The fries were WARM but guess what? The side of cheese sauce again was stone cold. This is such a shame about this, because the cajun pizza would have tasted amazing if it was hot, as would the popcorn shrimp! The triple pepperoni had barely any toppings on it!After we ate what we could we had bowls for ice cream. The bowls were boiling hot! Not good for ice-cream! Went up after waiting for the party to get theirs (they left the bar a right mess playing with the toppings) anyway the icecream machine didnt work! Stood there for 10 mins each waiting for the icecream to slowly pour out. Icecream melted straight away due to hot bowls so didn't even bother going for more.The waitress (who was amazing and very helpful, she should not have been left by herself trying to do everything though! She must have dealt with so many complaints that night as the party was also complaining about their food!) she sent the manager up to see us. Who was very disappointed we had had such a bad experience and apologised. He was fantastic and asked what we wanted to do. Did we want more food? We said no thankyou we just want to get home. So when we paid our bill we had found out he had removed half of the amount which was fantastic. Still not happy to have paid £20 for the little we ate but i am so grateful him and our waitress helped us and we didn't have to pay the full bill.Will not be returning to this one again. If it wasn't for the wonderful waitress and manager we would have called this visit a disaster. (Even my 9 year old niece was unhappy with her food!!)

This was my second time to visit Pizza Hut in this location. My partner and I decided to do so as we both like pizza hut. While the service was fine and the servers friendly the quality of the pizza was unacceptable as it was undercooked and doughy. The salad bar was quite uninspiring and the fizzy drinks lacking both fizz and taste.On the way out I noticed quite a lot of food crumbs near the entrance. The staffing was adequate so I cant see why someone hadn't noticed this. Overall a disappointing experience

Visited Pizza Hut on Saturday night and although it was busy, the service was good, but I have to say that £17 for a medium size pizza is hugely overpriced. There is a free salad, which is good overall, but it was not kept fully stocked, as had to ask for a couple of options which had run out. Also had 2 drinks, but was charged for 3 as the server thought my child had his own drink, he was in fact sharing mine. The whole experience was ok, but I found the food overpriced for what it was. The pizza was dry and toppings were not generous. For £17 for the Pizza I would have expected a lot more.

I visited here with my mum and dad after doing some Christmas shopping. The initial service was fab although as the restaurant got busier, the waitresses were becoming slightly harder to get the attention of. However, lovely food, I ordered a veggie pizza, my dad had pepperoni and my mum ordered gluten free. All very happy with our food and the refillable drinks. Overall, good value for money and good service.

Look, I'll tell you how it is. The place is a little bit grubby. Sometimes feel it could do with a good old clean. It's rammed at lunch due to the offers on. The service isn't exactly one to one and parking is crap.But, lunch at £6.99 eat all you want. Pizza Hut tastes the same at all branches. Food on tap. Drink on tap. Salad on tab. Icecream on tap!!You want a peaceful romantic kiss and cuddle place, go elsewhere. You want to keep the kids or your belly happy without forming a new friendship/relationship with an over keen waiter, this is the space.Get it, sit down, fill you face and move on with you life. Easy really!

we went to the restaurant the lady took us to the table thats ok but them a big peter set behind us no room there were lots of empty sets so we moved. the food was not as nice as Norwich the drinks to were not good

Hadn't been to this restaurant for a long time but made a last minute decision to pop in tonight prior to going to the cinema. Took a while to be attended to at the door but no particular issues as we were eventually directed to a table and told we would be seen shortly. We perused the menu, made our choice but no staff came back to take an order or ask if we wanted any drinks. Over the next 15 mins at least four other couples came in and were seated nearby during which time we signalled that we were ready to place our order. Still no one came and after almost 20 mins and especially after a couple that had entered some 15 mins after us had their order taken ahead of us, we gave up and walked out without being asked why! Probably the first time I've walked out like this. It wasn't overly busy but seemed disorganised and the lack of customer attention was such that we won't be heading back there in the future.

I fancied a meat feast pizza and we was certainly surprised and impressed.The food portions size was large and the food was fresh, tastely and hot, just the way I like it.The staff were excellent, attentive helpful and very friendly and the food was served very quickly, I would recommend and I will return.

This was my 2nd visit to Pizza Hut and it was very unpleasant. Firstly me and my partner were stood at the desk for about 10 minutes and were rudely told (after nearly all the staff in there had walked past us and ignored us) they were cleaning a table for us when we could clearly see loads of tables free. When we finally got shown a table we asked for two buffet meals but were sharply told that the buffet only runs till 3'o'clock, this would have been fine but we had arrived before 3 and because of their slow service we had to pay extra. Even though we were told the buffet was shut people were clearly still helping themselves for the whole time we were in there.

Buffet was good, quite abit of choice salad wise..pizza was ok ,as im a vegetarian i felt there wasnt much choice..but over all was nice.Get unlimited fizzy drinks and salad etc.wasnt too busy and were in there for hrs as me and a friend had alot of catching up do so chatted for ages and staff did not make us fee like we should leave.staff were friendly enough and i would go back again

We decided to go here last minute and I'm glad we did! We payed £25 and got 8 slices of pizza, 2 sides or starters, garlic bread and dessert! There is more than enough for two people!! Will deffo go back!

Ate here on a journey from Lincoln home to Colchester with my teenage son. We had not planned to eat here but I needed petrol and stopped at the petal station next to the restaurant. We got there at 11:30 and were the first to arrive but within 20 minutes the restaurant was packed.The staff were very friendly and we were served very quickly. We had the newish Philly Steak pizza which was fantastic and my son had a lime milkshake which was surprisingly nice.Not sure how good the location is for locals but it was convenient for us. Recommended for friendly staff and good pizza.

By far the cleanest pizza hut i have been too. Service verty fast and friendly, salad bar fully stocked and food cooked well.

Hi views. Went here for a bite to eat just before heading off to movies and pleasantly surprised. Yes the place has been here for years and looks a bit tired but the food was good and the staff very pleasant. Enjoyed my Pizza.

Been here a few times now for the lunchtime buffet.A good selection of pizza and salad available and buffet is replenished regularly.The buffet is £6.99 and soft drinks are just over £2 and are refillable.So unlimited food and drink for under £10 is great value!

Had a lovely meal pizza was spot on we had Hawaiian stuffed crust. Our server was also very good nothing was too much trouble. Highly recommend.

Nice welcome but downhill from there. Table was dirty - not even wiped down - and some cutlery so filthy it looked used. Service extremely slow yet far from busy. Food not hot on arrival but we put up with that as we had younger kids with us. Two kids had ice cream but had to go downstairs to collect as upstairs 'not working'. Other desserts ordered failed to arrive so we paid and left - after they tried to charge us for the non-existent desserts. Only 2 tables occupied on departure yet people queuing out the door. I hope they all had a better time than we did - we won't be back! As a general remark, what is the problem with Peterborough's low-end to mid-range, non-Indian eateries? They just seem to be generally appalling, leaving families with no option but to travel out of the city to find half-decent quality catering.

My daughter invited 7 school friends to her Birthday. It took us long time to decide where we going to celebrate it and finally we choosed Make your own Pizza Party at Pizza Hut Boongate Peterborough. When we errived at agreed time we were quiet surprised that there was no BD decoration, no BD hats, no BD table cloth not even a BD Party booking ... It was normal booking... When I asked a witer what time kids going to start making their own pizzas he replied that they don't do Make Your Own Pizza at weekdays..... I was shocked and didn't know what to say, coz we booked Make Your Own Pizza Party??? I was so disappointed, but just imagine that I had to tell this to all 8 kids... And I told them. I felt so so so so bad, if you could see their little faces full of dissapointmend too... But the waiter instead of sort everything out turned his back to us and walked away... Few minutes later my eyes catched an another staff member that took our Birthday Party booking earlier. I explained to her everything that happened and asked what is going on??? She said that there was a mistake their made in our booking, she is very apologise and will sort everything out. Guess what? Everything was sorted in 10 min. Kids were well happy, they started claping!!! I was thinking thank God everything seems to be olright ... That girl was so nice, all day she was trying so hard just to make us feel better... And she would if the another male waiter( I said earlier) wouldn't keep being nasty to us all day... He came to us and said to be quiet as other customers complaining that we are to loud??? Sorry but this is a Birthday Party with 8 kids, how can we be quiet??? You should expect that it would be noisy. If you ever saw his looks he kept giving us all day, it made us feel uncomfortable. I couldn't wait other parents to come to collect their kids and we could leave this unwelcoming place... By being dissapointed I even forgot to bring BD Cake from my car... Later on at home when I calmed down and could think clearly I realised that I overpaid??? My bill was higer that it should be, so it was last drop!!!! and on the next day me and my partner went back to Pizza Hut to speak to Manager. Unfortunately the Manager wasn't there and our complaint took in writing another staff member. She said that she will pass it to the Manager and their will contact us and sort everything out. Guess what??? One month passed but we still haven't heard from them.... I never ever will step my foot in to that place again!!!!

Went to PH Boongate, Peterborough yesterday evening. Have not been here in many a year but used to go all the time when visiting the adjacent Showcase Cinema complex. It is now in urgent need of updating and the exteria is beginning to look tired, dated and shabby (see attached photograph).The meal works out at a reasonable rate and the free soft drinks refills and all you can eat salad assist with this, The pizzas were served piping hot fresh from the oven and were cooked to perfection.There was a little delay to be served until I had effectively grabbed the attention of our waiter, Kamil A. The tables for two are too small and it would have been better if we could have been provided with a booth which seats four, but most were occupied by couples.Conveniently located for a meal before the film, but ideally needs bulldozing now as it has stood on this site for over 20 years now and is in need of redeveloping.

The was good and so was the service but the salad bar wasn't the best. Our server was nice and looked after us well but there was a problem with one of the pizzas and it wasn't amazing so three stars

Food was doughy and not hot. The manager did agree to replace but didn't seem overly concerned. As a family we were all eating at different times and second batch of food was not good either

My family really enjoyed our meal at Pizza Hut and had a real feast. With the unlimited salad and unlimited soft drinks we all had full bellies and couldn't finish our pizza so the staff boxed it up so we could take it home. A very family friendly and value for money restaurant.

Good pizza great value for money and swift service but really does feel like it's stuck in the 90's come on Pizza Hut let's bring it into the modern times

A regular meeting point for myself & my sister as it is located half way between us. Once a month we come in at 11 and stay until past 1. The building is cute, clean & quirky. The food is great & staff are polite and chatty. Really enjoy coming here even so much so that we never bother to go inside peterborough.

Well I know I've heard of eat and out but eat and asked to get out is bad business , I understand it's a business and when you have finished its nice to sit for 10 minutes and finish your beer and the kid to finish there ice cream fun, but oh no this idiot of a waiter asked us like a robot ! Have you finished ? And we hadn't and I said to him we are talking and finishing our drinks and the kids are getting ice cream. With that he said sir as you can see its full and we have people queuing for the tables, can you please try and hurry up a bit please as we desperately need your table. With that I told him not to be so rude and my daughter and myself will take as long as we like as we are paying for our meal and if he wants we will leave and he can poke the bill up his backside. The lad Shuffled off and spoke to a man who I would think was the manager. The lad came back across and said he apologises if he was rude and what he wanted to say come out the wrong way, he then walked off by this time I was very upset and took my child and left, I will never go there again to be abused like that in front of my wife and daughter

Amazing service and amazing food. i know its not real italian pizza but it is still pretty good american junk food. the staff here are an absolute delight and always look keen and ready to help. even if they make a mistake they will rectify it for you ASAP and will try to keep you happy while you wait. love coming here, even if i am just collecting pizza after work.

My wife and I stopped here whilst car shopping at motorpoint. The service was prompt and attentive, pizza was as good as you get at a chain restaurant as was the salad bar.As mentioned it filled the hole at the time.

Very busy, but I suppose it was Easter Sunday and not much else was going on.Avery nice, friendly place and the food is always great, complimentary salad bar when you order your meal and unlimited soft drinks, now with a splash of Vanilla, Cherry, Lime or Strawberryas an option :-)

Good choice of salads with top ups included in the price, soft drinks price also included top ups.enjoyed the fish pasta bake which was hot and tasty. My partner had lasagne again hot and tasty and well presented. Very convent for the cinema and good place for kids as well

i came here with a friend on a lunch break, we had the all you can eat lunchtime deal with unlimited salad, such good value for money! I would say lunchtime service is better than evening as it is more busier and the service and food is not as good.

It was a great, fun evening. Perfect for celebrating our 5yr olds birthday. The staff were friendly and attentive (although not too much) the food was as you would expect, tasty pizza and the surroundings were family friendly. Added bonus for unlimited self service drinks with lots of flavours to choose from. Special mention to a waitress called Rebecca who went that extra mile to ensure our little boy felt that extra bit special on his birthday.

I wouldn't normally make this my first choice for pizza out but it is convenient for the Showcase cinema just across the road and the kids always enjoy the atmosphere in here and the activity books, the self service salad bar and of course the Ice Cream Factory make it a more exciting experience than your typical place.The service was good but we'd not rush back. There are better alternatives than PH these days.

I have tasted better pizzas from dirty kebab houses at the end of a night out! From me ordering the pizza and sides to it arriving took about half an hour, to me that is to quick! The cheese on the pizza was not melted much and the base was all doughy, the chips on the other hand were FROZEN, could not even squash them with my fingers and the cheese bites were hard and cold, OHHHH and the pizza was meant to be half and half but wasn't!! So I called up to complain and they sent more pizza and chips out, what a waste of time that was, the chips were exactly the same and the pizza was cheap and nasty to, again for the chips and pizza to arrive this time was about 20 mins. TBH i was upset i had spent £25 on this s**t!! I had one cheese bite and one slice of pizza for £25!! NEVER AGAIN!! I have told friends and family to stay clear as well!! Domino's all the way!!!!

Rang at 3 pm for a table for 8 at 6 .30pm . No problem . Seated straightaway. Orders taken and the drinks and salad bar procedure explained. Plenty salad , a good choice of drinks , flavoured cokes a nice addition. We all opted for the £13.90 meal deal . A starter , main with salad bar, and a drink ... My starter ( boneless bites with BBQ sauce ) was very big , between that and the salad it near filled me up. The pizzas were all excellent , we all ordered different sorts , deep pan , thin, meat feast , veggie, Margherita etc , all hot and all good . The fizzy drinks are limitless.It was good value and the service was good. Our waitress, Georgia, brought fresh cutlery between courses , asked twice if we needed any sauces and if our meals were ok. She was very attentive and very friendly. A pleasant experience from start to finish and we would definitely go again .

I came in with my mum for a quick bite last week. After a nice buffet meal, we left to go catch a film at the cinema. Unfortunately (due to leaving the lights on in our car) we couldn't get it started afterwards and had to wait for recovery to pick us up so we decided to go back into the restaurant and grab a hot drink for our wait. Once inside, the hostess was really sympathetic and friendly about our situation, took our order at the door and told us we could sit where we liked. After about half an hour the recovery van showed up and we asked for the bill, we were told that there would be no charge. This was a very nice and thoughtful gesture which was much appreciated on our difficult day.

After spending the morning in Peterborough (we live near Norwich) we headed to this hut as it was on the main road out of Peterborough for us. Plenty of parking and once inside we were taken to our table within a few minutes. The food we ordered was nice and we didn't have to wait too long.The restaurant wasn't full however was too noisy for us even though we have children. After using the toilet I think we would have preferred to be seated upstairs. Service was good and the lady that looked after us was pleasant. Thd restaurant itself seemed tired. My biggest issue was the amount of food on the floor under the tables. We sat on the middle table however the family that sat on the table next to the window had enough food near their feet to feed one person! We don't go to Peterborough often however if we did we probably won't go there again.

Decided to order a pizza from Pizza Hut through an online website. Despite the fact that they aim to deliver in 30 minutes, we only received our order after nearly an hour. Also, when we spent 45 minutes of waiting, we decided to give them a call and ask when our order will be delivered. We realised that they did not even understand which order are we talking about which suggested that this is not a very good service. After 5 minutes of having a conversation, they said that our order will arrive in 5-10 minutes. It did, however, when we opened the boxes, we realised that everything was very cold. All I can conclude about this restaurant is that delivery is not the one, because we regret wasting our money on an order and service like this. It was not very nice waiting for ages to get our order and receive cold and terrible food.

Whilst aware that this is most certainly not a fine dining establishment, it barely holds it's own against a McDonald's.I phoned at 16:00 on a Thursday afternoon to book a table for 17:30, to which I was told that due to being exceptionally busy the manager was taking no further bookings but I could be "queue jumped" when I arrived. This was understandable, as it's the only Pizza Hut in peterborough, we opted for the queue jump.Upon arriving at 17:15 we found that the establishment had only four/five tables occupied and we had no wait at all. Whilst glad of this, we were slightly perplexed as to why we couldn't have reserved.It then started to go down hill. One member of staff sat us and disappeared leaving us waiting 15 minutes for a drinks order to be taken. To his credit when he came back he was most thorough explaining the menu and very friendly. But after taking our food order we never saw him again. The menu seemed to be something of a drastically reduced menu, compared to where I live myself which is in Manchester. This menu offered no deals of any sort which I had ore planned our meal around due to youngsters. The salad bar was rather in appealing and looked as though it had not been restocked in quite some time, it contained no lettuce, the tomatoes had all unfortunately been squashed prior to my visit and everything was overflowing into everything else, most inconvenient. The sauces whilst full were unlabelled and several of us got blue cheese sauce when we thought we were getting mayonnaise (a bonus for me though as I love blue cheese - not so for my niece who couldn't stomach it)I chose a fountain drink over the milkshake as it offered the option for a flavoured shot in my drink, vanilla, raspberry etc. When I couldn't find this I went to the bar and asked the bar tender who replied that they didn't offer that in this restaurant. (Stress - yet another thing this peterborough establishment doesn't offer!!) I explained to him that I would prefer a milkshake instead, he said he wasn't able to swap this for me. Considering a milkshake costs more I felt this rather silly.Our pizza was plonked onto the table by this same bar man, who spokeIn monosyllables and offered nothing in the way of condiments. Eventually my mother asked him and fifteen minutes later, halfway through our pizza this arrived. This pizza itself was faultless, the onion rings were slightly lacklustre and somewhat cold. No one came back to see how the meal was.Upon paying our bill, when asked how it was I listed the faults, to which the female shrugged.We left.To sum up, pizza as it should be, everything else lacking.

love coming here with the children. the staff can never do enough. enjoy the food but feel there could be more variety. also taking the kids can get quite costly. love the salad bar.

Visited tonight.Not impressed at all. Got seated straight away which was good. Unfortunately was then left alone for 15 minutes, no drinks or anything. One waitress kept walking by clearly hovering over a table with their bill and didn't even acknowledge us! the floor and seats were filthy, the table was not wiped and there was no cutlery. Fortunately the very helpful manager came over and told her staff to clean floor, a girl sheepishly walked over no apology or thanks for moving out of the way didn't speak at all. The manager has to take our order and did apologise. Unfortunately the experience left a bad taste in our mouths, don't think we will be going back. All credit to the manager though as she was the only one who stopped us from walking out.

Service was slow, wasn't even brought bowls for Salad. Restaurant was not clean, to the point where it cost me a visit to A&E after I slipped on some food when leaving. A fellow customer helped me along with my partner. Staff seemed disinterested.Another customer asked to be moved to another table, don't think she was impressed with lack of cleanliness too.Won't be visiting again. Used to be nice !

What is going on????The whole idea I thought of having a deep pan pizza is that you GET the DEEP PAN with the pizza in it!!!?So, imagine my horror when we didn't? Instead we got a pizza that was not cooked properly.When I asked our server where the pan was we were informed that it was pot luck as they did not have enough for all to go around, so, imagine, the table next to us had them and we didn't.......Where was the equality PIZZA HUT?That is so not on....The money that this chain makes globally????The salad bar is the only thing going for this place at the moment and that's free with the meal!!!Get a grip!!Disgrace.

Pretty short review. We went for the buffet today and everything was spot on. Great food, great atmosphere and great service. Couldn't ask for more. Reasonable pricing too. Not too busy and no trouble getting a table.

Pizza Hut often have good offers for meals to entice families and I have taken youngsters there at 4pm for pizza and drink deal. The ice-cream factory is fun also you kids and the young at heart but it's only average quality and the restaurants are big and basic.

We turned up for our table to be told, you can't go to it yet as we're not finished laying it, table of 17 people! 5 starters and to be fair this was ok, then I ordered a drink, in a space of 40 mins after asking 3 times I finally got my drink, the pizza served although 3 children's pizzas was waited for about half hour after all adults got there pizza, which caused 3 adult pizzas to go cold, we were asked if we wanted to get fresh for us but didn't want to be waiting another half hour fir them. Service was terrible, I'm sure the pizza would be ok if we could eat them hot! Little sisters birthday was remembered for the mess up here, even took 4 members of staff to work out how to take a cake out, recommend if a large number at once is not handled properly don't take the booking

We had a large pizza with the doughball crust, very tasty but the best thing about pizza hut is the sharing cookie dough! One of the best desserts from any chain restaurant! Free drinks refils and salad bar make pizza hut great value for money
