Pizza Hut in North Hertfordshire

They got the order wrong which I collected. Realised when I was home. Restaurant never answers the phone so was stuck with a pizza I had to bin and complained to customer services which the next day think it's okay to just add some reward points on to cover the pizza itself but have to inconvenience myself to go collect it again. Customer service with "Michael" is nothing short of a joke who thinks goodwill is giving reward points to collect the pizza or pay for delivery. That's not "goodwill" that's just giving me what was paid for minus the 2x travel and inconvenience. That's precisely zero goodwill. Lost a customer for life. Hi Bob Dha, Order 6356401764

Am really angry as tonight I ordered a vegan vegetable supreme pizza from pizza Hut in Hitchin and they gave me the wrong order as when it was delivered it was a margarita instead. When I phoned up to complain the man was really unhelpful and refused to give me a refund. I spent £15 on this poxy pizza. Would never use Pizza Hut again, I wouldn't recommend it, I'll use domino's in future. Absolutely disgusted!!! Also because I don't like Margarita pizza and because I was so disappointed I had to order what I wanted again from another pizza place which cost me alot of money just on one meal.

I have eaten from here a few times and its always at a decent standard pizza is crisp and not too oily or too much cheese like most other places. I hope they maintain this standard, because I don’t normally bother to write reviews but credit were its due i guess.

After receiving my pizza delivery one if the pizzas was likely dropped and all the topping where In the box and the pizza was smashed up. I showed the driver who apologised and took the pizza back, he said to call the restaurant and tell them to start a new pizza for me. I did as requested however when I called up the restaurant to explain, i couldn't get more the a few words out before the employee would cut me off saying my order was on the way and am I calling from this place, that place. This went on until i had to talk over him to be heard. As I'm explaining he's taking over me with every excuse under the sun why I can't have another pizza, you need to do a new order, you need to contact head office, you need to sort this out with just eat (I ordered directly from the pizza hut website). In the end I basically told him I have sent the pizza back with the driver and you are cooking me a new one and you driver is on his way back to pick it up. He just said OK and hung up. 45mins later a disgraceful pizza showed up, hardly any toppings and the one that where there were so burnt in only tasted of burnt onion. I understand things can go wrong but I shouldnt of had to go through this just to get what I paid for. I wish I Liston to the other reviews on this restaurant before ordering. Never again.!

We rarely have takeaway. We decided pizza hut hitchin. I did an online order that morning for 6pm At 6:15 I phoned Pizza Hut. The man said it was just leaving which was a lie. It arrived eventually at 6:40pm. The delivery boy left it outside my house and ran away before I could speak to him. Worst delivery ever Only good thing was the pizza was hot and ok

Every once in while a Pizza Hut supreme is a must , under the current restrictions Evie and I where holed up in Hitchin due to lockdown we ordered a chicken super supreme. Promptly delivered the Pizza Hit the spot.

One of the WORST PLACES TO GO FOR YOUR PIZZA I went for a delivery today 24th February at 9.30 in the evening it was very quiet I rang for a delivery and this Indian / foreign guy picked up asked for half crust half deep pan considering I haven’t been to this place ever before the guy says are you mad ??? Really and I ignored and ordered an Italian base vegetarian, when I entered he was patronising/ condescending and rude and making me feel he was doing me a favour making he a pizza , in the end I had to ask him to stop talking to me and just give my pizza, he goes in and cones out with a completely burnt pizza ( Reakly from Pizza Hut) and no apologies or anything turns round snd says you will have to wait another 15 mins as it’s burnt I had already waited for over half hour ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE SERVICE snd when I asked him for his name he refused , I think that says it all AVOID PIZZA HUT HITCHIN AT ALL COST ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU GET A PLUM GUY WITH BEARD DONT WASTE YOUR TIME AT ALL

We Ordered two pizzas, several phone calls failed to produce the food, and when it eventually arrived after an hour and a half it had been in the back of a car for so long it was cold. Rubbish, Avoid.

They sent us the wrong starter, then said they couldn't redeliver it for over and hour at least and refused - that's right - refused to refund me. They make you go through this pathetic customer services charade where they never send you the emails they promised so you can get your money back and then you spend over a week trying to get your money back by moaning at their fellow incompetents on twitter. Just avoid them. It's not worth your time. We have used them several times before and the food is often wrong, cold......just don't bother - there are at least 10 other places in Hitchin to get a pizza.

I ordered a pizza order for delivery from Pizza Hut Hitchin at approx 19.15pm 8/8/2019 had a confirmation email to say the delivery was in the oven and would be delivered asap. After waiting approximately 1 hour I phoned store where the order was placed to be told there was a shortage of drivers and was told the driver was on his was back and our order would be delivered next. I waited another 45 minutes to call the store again to be told the driver would be with me any time now, at this stage I informed the pizza Hut employee this was not on having to wait all this time if there was delivery issues we should have been informed and we were never advised there were any issues when we ordered as we would not have ordered if we knew we would be eating at nearly bedtime, no explanation or real apology was given even at this stage !!! The order finally arrived almost 2 hours late again with no real apology from the driver, the pizza was luke warm, on the wrong base that was stated correctly on the order, we ordered pan and got delivered thin however not crispy and both pizza were dried up, topping soggy and disgustingly over cooked and looked like they had been sitting around for as long as the 2 hours we had been waiting for them !!!! I have ordered numerous times from the Hitchin store without any real issues however this is beyond a joke to be waiting that long with no explanation and to be served something I would not give to my dog and will not waste my hard earned money ordering from there and will resort to ordering from Domino’s from now on !!!!

I made an order at 11.45 am. Waited two hours for it to turn up , then gave up and ordered another take away. It wasn’t until 9.15 pm that I got a text from them saying my order has been cancelled haha. No phone call, nothing. What kind of a show are you running down there? Absolutely embarrassing service

First time we’ve used Pizza Hut, one word Awful, callto complain & told that’s our base never again!

Dont have all the pizza they have in there resturant and they dont deliever to Arlesey were lots of other pizza places to that are just down the road from, surpised they are still going

The pizzas I’ve had here are usually quite good and I really enjoy them but unfortunately today it was just so soggy and filled with greese, it was just all falling apart when I picked it up which is really disappointing, maybe it was an off day but just very poor today... just puddles of greese all over.

Ordered for delivery, paid my money! After the time ran over for my delivery to arrive I called the hut to which they did not answer as they closed...so they had closed and my delivery had not arrrived and I had no way to Contact them! No one called to let me know if my order was even coming or not. In short they took my money and my food didn’t arrive. I always preferred to have delivery from this hut as the customer service for take away is appaulling, they don’t even deserve 1 star. Now delivery isn’t an option either and I will never spend my money here ever again!

I asked for Gluten free pizza and no cheese, you would think I was asking for the world the guy put the phone on me in the end as he could not be bothered to deal with me. I didn't want to ring back because the members of staff possibly manager was mocking me!! disgusting.

1st class service as usual,order often arrives BEFORE time,so raspberries to the whiners,go elsewhere.🙂 10+/10

Pizza hut- remember the good old days when the Dough was crispy and the cheese used to leave cheese trails from your mouth to the slice when you parted the two to draw breath and even the veg was palatable? Memories are all that remain I'm afraid. I'm finding it hard to reconcile that this place is rated 143rd from 173 restaurants, there are 30 worse places than this? Holy crud. I'm also finding it hard to reconcile that the scoring matrix on tripadvisor makes me score this place a 1 star, it really doesn't warrant it.

I just ordered a couple of Pizza's and sides worth £23 and my partner asked politely if she could pay extra to please have some cheese on the Garlic bread.... A member of the management team called Jay Point blank refused as there was no way of it being put through the system????

Disappointed and Disgusted by receiving a pizza which was not cooked throughout as this store receives only frozen pizzas and not made fresh they either messed up the temperature of the oven or had a 10year old working there. In the end it went it the bin.

Este Pizza Hut es como cualquier otra Pizza Hut allí en el REINO UNIDO. Nada fantástico y nada de que quejarse, excepto que siempre es bastante ruidoso ya que hay un montón de niños de escuela/adolescentes alrededor que es bastante ruidoso. Pero eso suele suceder en esos lugares. De todos modos, en general, es el lugar estándar para una comida normal.

Staff can be rude. Food takes a while. Mostly tastes good but had an odd occasion where it doesn't! Never had a serious problem though.

Esperamos una hora hasta ahora y me dijeron otros 15 minutos por un orden, sólo porque me llamó después de una hora y encontraron mi pedido echarles un error. No ofrecen nada teniendo en cuenta que soy un cliente bastante regular. Muy decepcionado y piensa en usar otros en el centro de la ciudad.

Cada lugar hace su pizza un poco diferente. A veces, sólo necesitas golpea una pizza Hut pizza y este lugar el lugar.

Had a few orders from here it seems to get worse each time. The last time the pizza was soggy and tasteless it was just terrible. It really put me off pizza for a long time. It is absolutely nothing like what you get in the pizza hut restaurants. I would never order from here again. I sent them a tweet and email all they said was they would pass on my comments. Avoid at all costs!

Love this take away. We always book online as the deals are much better online. (Large pizza and a side) for £9.99 is more than enough for two to share! The deep pan is always crispy and hot when we collect and they are always ready in around 15minutes.

lukewarm, undercooked, soggy, horrible. It's within a mile of me and I now travel to Letchworth Pizza Hut in preference. About time Pizza Hut hq shut this one down!

Recently had a delivery which arrived late, cold, soggy, saggy and the staff member on the phone didn't speak enough English for me not to have to repeat myself over again. Not worth the phone call. 2 or 3 other local stores which are much better. Very disappointing for Pizza Hut. Lucky to get a poor score from me.

Whilst ordering at 6pm on Sun 15th of Feb! The staff couldn't resist taking the piss out of me in front of me! To the point I just walked out and will never return. Have asked all local people I know to go to Dominoz or papa johns.

This Pizza Hut is for takeaway only. We stopped in on our way home, as a spontaneous decision. The man at the counter was pleasant and did a good job explaining the offers available. We took advantage of buy one pizza, get one free, which is only available for collection, as opposed to delivery. We were told our order would take 15 minutes and it was ready in that time. The pizza was typical Pizza Hut pizza. It's good for what it is; industrial pizza. I would buy from here again, as I find Pizza Hut superior to competing pizza restaurants, in the UK.

ordered online - took ages - nearly cold, one pizza overcooked dry and unedible, ordered one gluten free but it was not and having eaten some realised they had got it wrong but this will make the coeliac customer ill for several days at least - this kind of mistake is really bad -other establishments clearly label in order to avoid mistakes !!!
