Domino's Pizza in North Hertfordshire

Pizza was half cooked. Cheese was barely melted. I live nine miles away so only came to know when I opened the pizza box at home. Stay away from this branch. Disgraceful and not in keeping with Domino’s standards. Go elsewhere. Not what you will expect.

Ordered my daughter a pizza last night cheese and tomato had hardly any topping on it and there was a random mushroom on it ! It was dry and horrible worst pizza I ve ever ordered disgusting !

Domino's was amazing, ordered on Saturday, and the food was amazing. Had it delivered and the staff were quick and respectful

Ordered a pizza and explained clearly I am allergic to onions so to please remove from my order. When I collected they had put lots of onions on the pizza and then had to wait for a new one to be made and cooked

If you stick to collection, it’s a good store. Of dozens of orders, they’ve only ever got 1 slightly wrong. It’s Dominos not fine dining, so you get what you’d expect. Usually I can pick up just 15 mins after ordering. Folks complaining about the Dominos app ought not to be leaving a review of this individual store. The franchises are subject to Dominos’ centralised inability to maintain their website’s functionality (just as much as we are as customers.) Delivery is slow (1+ hrs is not atypical for this store.) Even if you’re not used to city delivery speeds, this is slow. As I say, stick to collection. My only gripe is the garlic bread is often messy and lacking the proper amount of topping/cheese. Otherwise, the food is cooked to expected standard. They’re friendly in-store and remember you if you order moderately often. Nice people and they always try to be helpful.

Disappointed to see the prices and deals constantly changing. Fed up seeing my deal there then not there over and over again. Time to look elsewhere

Food was good as usual. The delivery service is a joke , takes at least 45 mins to get delivered even if ur in the town centre !

Always have to be pursuaded to give them another try, this time it was pick up only as they had no drivers, was told 15 minutes, arrived 15 minutes later to a large queue outside the building. They had shelves of pizzas ready, the screens were completely out of sync with what they had been doing, it took a member of the public to go in and point out they should probably be calling names out. My order had been sitting there for 15 minutes before I got it, and even then it was as underwhelming as ever. Over priced and inconsistent.

Dont bother getting delivery it'l never ever be hot and you'll wait about 3 hours usually. Whenever I go in to collect they always seem to have lost control the kitchen looks like they've been attacked/vandalised cheese all over the place. Usually a handful of people plodding around with no urgency. Worst dominoes which is shame as no other good pizza delivery in area

The brought the wrong pizza (one ingredient was wrong) but when I called them and explained the problem, they send me a new one quite quick

For the umpteenth time recently, food over an hour late, stone cold on arrival and basically inedible. Avoid at all costs. Suspicion of mold on mushroom.

How do you rate 'atmosphere' for a takeaway only pizza place? It does takeaway pizzas. They are good. 4 stars purely because we have learnt to NEVER order on a Friday night - they are always too busy but trying their best!

Got the wrong order. Called up and they said they would send out the right order, 40 mins later we call up and they haven't started our order, not happy. £40 down the drain!

We only order from Domino's because the other Pizza Places in Royston are a rip off, and Domino's is reasonably priced. Our orders have never been on time. The App always says delivered and the order turns up 30 minutes to an hour later cold. Apart from that, you get a standard Domino's pizza. No surprises.

Ordered from here a few times now and every time I order, it takes over an hour to arrive, my pizza is usually cold by the time I get it and it's really frustrating when they keep marking my order as delivered when it's not. Don't know why I keep giving it a chance.

Ordered a large pepperoni and a large chicken & sweetcorn pizza on the app for collection from Royston Dominos. Price on app was £12.00 per pizza even though sign at store said £9.99 for a large pizza when collected. Waited 30 minutes beyond given collection time for pizzas to be ready then told they had made a mistake and done ham and sweetcorn instead of chicken and sweetcorn. We accepted the mistake as we could not wait for them to recook the pizza, they offered a small bottle of coke as apology. However on returning home found there was no pepperoni pizza either just a margherita. Very disappointed as my son was visiting and had been raving about Dominos in Hull. Sorry Dominoes but this is unacceptable, £24.00 and didnt get what we ordered at all.

Meaning to post this from about 2 months ago as I ordered today, food was mushy, undercooked. Called up 2 months ago, and said the pizza is cold, can I get another one and they just laughed at me and hung up, do not recommend

We had seen the bad reviews about delivery so we collected instead. We had to wait about 10 minutes more than the estimated time but it was a Friday night and England were playing so didn't think that was too bad. The tracker on the app was accurate so you could just sit in the car until it says collect. The food was very good and still hot by the time we got home (10 mins away) - we'll be back!

Well done to Dominos Royston! I messed up my online order (albeit the website ordering was confusing) and managed to order a Hot & Spicy pizza removing all of the ingredients except pineapple (clearly I wanted to add pineapple). I realised my error on leaving the takeaway and, unbelievably the staff in Dominos were very understanding and agreed to bake a replacement pizza for me. I am extremely grateful as there was no obligation as it was entirely my mistake. They were very busy with ongoing orders but were calm, polite and obviously focused on providing a great service. Again, very well done! And if anyone fancies a deep pan with nothing but pineapple get on down to Royston Dominos immediately!

I placed a huge lunch order for 42 pizzas along with sides and Domino's Royston did a brilliant job again. The entire order arrived on time, hot and with every single item correct. They did an amazing job and I'm thoroughly impressed. (Just to clarify that I planned the order with them a couple of days ahead but it's still fantastic service) Thanks so much!

Wish I'd read the reviews before ordering. Seemingly like many other people's reviews, the app told us our pizza had been delivered when it wasn't. I called the store after 35 mins to explain this and was told there's a known problem with the app. I was told that our food would be collected by the driver in 5 minutes, with another 15-20 minutes for delivery. Another 35 minutes passed and still no delivery. I called again and was told that it was out for delivery and next on the drivers route. I asked if the food would still be hot and was assured it would be. Finally 15 minutes after that 1hour and 35 minutes after ordering, it arrived. Ordered 20:16 on a Wednesday and finally delivered at 21:51. As expected it was luke warm at best, but we ate and didn't ring for a refund as we'd had a long stressful day at work and didn't want the added delay in eating. Was the first time ordering from this Dominos and definitely won't be using it again. Would advise anyone else either collects or uses somewhere else.

It has been 1,5 hrs, three phone calls but no delivery. On the tracker it shows it was delivered but no progress. Avoid delivery.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS STORE your order will be marked as delivered but will be hour's late when you call to enquire where your food is they will blame the app and when it arrives it will be cold tried and tested multiple times.

Simple order yet some how they messed it up and not for the first time. Was at least warm this time round so an improvement on the last one I had.

Order was messed up by the app... the Manager soon had me happy on seeing what had happened by making up the lost pizza immediately! Great Service!

Terrible. Took an hour to deliver a pizza. The app told me it had been delivered when it hadn’t; 10 minutes later I called them to be told the app is often wrong (not in my experience ordering elsewhere…so maybe they just marked it delivered to meet some target?) Usually choose Dominos because they are reliable but no more. Will try out the local places instead. No point having the place 5 mins drive away if it takes them 30 min to find us. Driver was on his phone as he handed it over, no doubt to another late delivery

Why text me about a pizza deal if you can't deliver it warm? Delivery here used to be fine but in the last few months we have ordered about 4 times and the pizza has been late and cold and noone has any idea where your pizza is when you call. App is rubbish and always says it is delivered when it's not. Not ordering anymore.

Ordered online, although tracking application showed delivered after 40 minutes, food was not delivered until 2 hours after ordering time. Driver also went to wrong address. During this time the store did not answer their phone despite numerous calls. Food arrived lukewarm. Not what you would expect from a normally predictable and reliable fast food franchise. Branch Manager needs to get a grip of this hugely under-performing store.

Had a great pizza came within 30min and was delicious

We Ordered 2 pizzas as a group, around 19:30 and they arrived at almost 23:30 so 4 hours late. They were stone cold and 3 of us were ill from which i assume was the texas bbq which has chicken as a topping. When we tried to call the store they never answered the phone. Avoid.

If they were able to get a delivery while the pizza is warm, that would be great. 2 hours, not only cold, but under cooked. Have tried 3 times now. Each time as bad as the last.

Probably one of the slowest Dominos operating. I’ve ordered twice from this location and both times it took 2 hours or more to arrive. Telephone conversation asking where my pizza was after tracking said it had been delivered and very unhelpful staff. Probably better off making it yourself, avoid.

Possibly the worst service ever. Understaffed, complete lack of customer service and quality if food is terrible.

Very slow, well over an hour to get food on a weekday evening. Sometimes you get through and get an apology/explanation but there is little point. The pizza being out for delivery can mean a 20 minute to 40 minute wait. Ordered an hour and 30 minutes ago, chances are I will see the pizza near the two hour mark. I'm not religious but I pray that Papa John's open a store nearby.

I frequently order from this store and I really don’t know why. The food is ALWAYS late and the app just updates as delivered before the food arrives. Not like they’ve only just opened, they should have this sorted by now. Awful service

Terrible staff, terrible customer service. Sides was raw and under cooked as usual after i asked for them to be double cooked. Had to leave with no dinner and pay to eat something else.!

Waited for 2 and a half hours while calling multiple times and being told my order was on its way to finally find out that my order had actually been refunded (for some unknown reason) and they weren't sure if it was actually on its way or not. Gave up and went to viva pizza, arrived 25 mins after ordering-Go there instead. The order from dominos didn't arrive

Iulian delivers excellent customer service and fantastic pizzas, clearly there is a shortage of drivers which makes it a really tough job for the staff but that should not be a reflection on the store itself but the system they are given. I would 100% recommend this place and always collect so never have an issue, food is fantastic.

Use with caution Took an hour and half for my food to come and kept getting told they are short on drivers but sorry not my problem then food turns up cold and and hair in it they just dont seen to care and the manager has a bad attitude and starts raising his voice when you argue back so I got told a full refund in 5 days and we had no dinner so I end up at McDonald's

Really wanted to put no stars but have to put 1. Tracker said delivered but not arrived, several phone calls later cold pizzas arrived but items missing from the order. Driver phoned manager who wanted me to go to the shop. Another phone call to shop who agreed to refund for missing items. Will not be going to Domino's again. A special evening ruined.

If there is a zero star I will give that to this place. Their delivery is absolutely shocking. I have had the same experience for the past 3-4 orders. It takes 10 calls before anything gets delivered. Going to have to give up on dominos unfortunately.

The app automatically set to "Delivered" within 30 mins, They have serious issue that there are no drivers, I got very cold pizza second time after waiting more than a hour and half ! There should be a way to stop the order online or let the customer know that there is no driver to deliver and expect the food to be cold!

Unfortunately they have a serious issue, they can't stop online orders coming through and they don't have the drivers! Poor driver had to apologise when he turned up with cold food 2.5hrs after order. Silly ! Refund submitted 7-14 working days apparently 😔

The app said delivered but the pizza had not arrived. It took forty minutes from the app saying delivered to the actual delivery ,totalling over an hour and half since we placed the order. Make your own pizza - it will be faster!

Deliveries always take an hour and a half or more and when you call to ask where your order is the staff are rude and argumentative, and never feel the need to apologise for the huge delays.

Pizza's were not the best were experienced from a Dominos. Also they ended up having no delivery drivers after accepting the order via the app. Probably worth calling them to order and check first.

I was soooo hangry! Its took them nearly 2 hours to deliver it! They fobbed me off on the phone, despite the tracker saying it had already been delivered. Finally got it, the delivery guy pratically threw it at me n ran. I feel sorry for who ever deliver these pizzas as it isnt their fault. But, thats it for me. Will never order from dominos royston, ever again.

Its okay... Often get the order wrong or take an hour to deliver when i live 10 mins away, but its dominoes so...

Waited for over an hour for pizza and as I write this, it still hasn't arrived!! ...and we're in the same town!! Tried to ring and complain, nobody would pick up the call. £20 wasted. Rubbish.

Love a Domino's but sadly these guys are really struggling. Severe lack of drivers means hours for delivery or else collect and customer service in store isn't great either. Two stars because apparently one means 'Hated it' which isn't true but nevertheless still very very poor.

Made an order, said it was on its way 15 minutes later. Another 45 minutes later still no delivery, but the order status changed to completed. I call the branch and they say it is on their way. Another 30 minutes later still no delivery. Tried to make a complaint to the company but no response.

Cold. Definitely fudging the performance numbers as dominoes app reported delivered at least 45mins before arrival. No happy at all. Overall took over 1hr to arrive despite the app reporting 20-30mins

Terrible experience ordered online pick up time 15 mins. Get there in 20 m8ns order said 28 mins till ready. Waited and the time kept going up. When we got our order most of it was already cold. Very disappointed

Absolutely disappointing service. I walked out without pizza. The attitude and customer service was shocking. Made felt like I was stupid..I Only asked for pepperoni on half pizza, was going to pay for the full amount...but no can't do...apparently company policy! Just very unhelpful and arrogant young man on the till..not going back..

Woah! What's with all of the negative comments? I've been a customer here for over 6 years and have never had a bad experience. The manager, Shail, is a polite and generous man and has never let me down with an order - always instant pick-ups, deliveries on time and amazing customer service. Nothing bad to say about here, apart from the fact that the food is just too good!

About half an hour after the tracker showed my pizza was out for delivery, it started telling me to enjoy my meal. Well, cheers, but there was no pizza. So I call up and get told the usual stuff about traffic, and how Michael will be delivering in 6-8 minutes. It definitely wasn’t a Michael that turned up with cold pizza. I have no issue with the delivery driver - she was lovely. Can’t fault her at all. She is why I’m giving three stars. Somewhere in transit, though, something interesting happened. It’s safe to say that while all the components that create a pizza were there, it definitely hadn’t been kept flat. Some of the slices were folded in half and the rest of the pizza had folded itself into calzone. Now, I’m not going to say I won’t order again. I’m unlikely to, though, because nobody needs £20 calzone in their lives. At this point you’re paying for a name - the company doesn’t seem to care about quality. I WILL, however, say Royston has many other pizza options which are either equal to or better in taste, not to mention cheaper, so Dominos will from now on be my last resort pizza delivery stop.

This place does not require a single star! Poor customer service and the manager does not know what he is doing and isn't even wearing his mask. Every time I walk past that place ,I see no manager or staff in the front and there are customers waiting. Staff always shouting and creating unnecessary dramatic scenes . oh! and hair in my food and very less ingredients in my pizza! I hope the inspector of this place reads this to see what really happens when he isn't around.

We ordered our first takeaway pizza tonight from Dominos. It was delivered promptly and was delicious. Will definitely order there again. Well done Dominos Royston. Maureen and Alan

I am currenlty a student learning how to deal with quick pace while I work so this can be a practise when I'm older. I used to work in dominos Royston before for 2 months, and withing those few months I felt like the manager was playing tricks with my salary. One day during my payslip day I had notice that some of my money had been missing and when I asked the manager about it, he told it was cut due to covid reasons, yes I'm aware about all those tax cutting but I hadn't any other job while I worked there, not only that the manager was very rude when I asked him for the money back, but he complained to my parents about it and made a big issue!! And then comes the employees!! , they treated me so rudely, and I wish the head of domino's kindly reads this, and im ashamed to even say that while I worked there, they never provided gloves to the employees making the customers pizzas and when I asked them about some gloves that I could wear,the manager told me that I'd to keep washing my hands every now and then which I still think doesn't make sense as people might thave food allergies with maybe few of the ingredients might cause an allergic reaction while we touch them! and we had to use the same hand for both vegetarian and non vegetarian 🤢. They were flies roaming all over the store, no social distancing and such a congusted place!!!! And some of the employees would arrange fewer toppings to the pizzas and I mention this as I read few reviews where people talked about less toppings than and HERE⚠️ is the answer Everyone !!, so when I added toppings they would put it back n yell at me for adding alot when I knew it wasn't sufficient. Very poor training as well and all of that in their website is totally fake!! I cried my eyes out and was suffering depression due to those days when the manager took my money and the employees treated me like some piece of waste.!! 😡 And oh! They don't evne wear their mask!! I wish more action should be taken and hope the head reads this and not the manager of domino's as he himself is trying to be nasty with people's money please be aware espcilaly to those whod like to get a job there.. Ud totally regret it!!! ⚠️

I forgot to add stuffed crust to my order so I called up and asked if they would add it. They did it for free which was really nice of them. Would highly recommend and really appreciated this excellent customer service

Best Pizza in Royston. I have been ordering from Domino the last month or so several times. The food has arrived, unbelievably fast and warm. The quality has been amazing. I also love that I can pay by card in their web-site which other restaurants in the area should learn from that we are in 21 centuries and cash only doesn't work anymore or using Just Eat and pay £2 for delivery? GOOO Domino Gooo

Always so late - usually takes about 1.5hours to get food and they’re pretty rude. They always mess around with the app so you can’t track your order. It will says it’s been delivered so you phone them to check and it still takes another 30mins. Shame there aren’t many other options in the area.

Quality has been different each time I have ordered. Staff not good. Can wait ages gor a takeaway ordered online.
