Pizza House in East Riding of Yorkshire

Called here last night Saturday ordered a doner calzone and a doner kebab the calzone was tasty and well cooked the doner was also tasty but not a lot of meat for the price sauce came separate as did the salad the salad look good in its plastic box but when the lid was removed the lettuce went brown in minutes so not fresh

Pizzas for 4, ordered in person & collected 15 mins later. Cheap bases, lacked toppings, lacked flavour. Bland & disappointing. Only go if you need carbs & there's nowhere else open.

Terrible my food never arrived. They said they had tried to contact me they hadn't. Waited ages. Rude and abusive over the phone to me. Absolutely terrible dont go!

Thought we would give them a chance. Asked for it to be delivered, obviously address was not taken down correctly and at an hour later our food was touring around hornsea instead of a village on the outskirts. Food was not at its best when it arrived a discount was given. no fault of the delivery girl.

I’ve just had a shish kebab and can honestly say it’s amongst the best cooked lamb I’ve ever had ,my daughter rated the cheesy garlic bread very highly also,we will be back !

Very poor quality pizza hardly no topping undercooked base. What has happened here been ordering from here over 2 years and always recommend it but on this occasion the food quality was very poor and I could’ve cooked better myself

As with the majority of other reviews on here I found the staff to be very rude. In addition the food was very greasy and didn't taste of much.

Love the food here! We’ve tried the pizzas, kebabs , wraps and burgers!! Delivery is always quick aswell! Will use again

I not long had a delivery from your pizza shop and I'm totally disgusted. Considering this is my first time in Hornsea I am so unhappy with the service I have recieved.Firstly, your driver was very rude and had no manners what's so all. Secondly, I asked for chips and received fries- they was also cold! I also asked for a chicken burger which was not a CHICKEN burger it was a FISH burger!! Awful service!

Only tried it a couple of times after the first attempt when everything came wrong decided to give them another try but on the second attempt not only did things come wrong was also swimming in grease and when rang up to tell them about it they where very rude on the phone. Will not be returning

Pizza House is my fave have tried other in Village, but went back to Pizza House, what can I say I love their food and they are so bloody polite when they drop it off, and just gorgeous food what more can I say x

We were tourists staying at Hornsea Lakeside Lodges; we saw in the welcome packet that they would deliver there however we didn't have a menu so we decided to go into the takeaway shop it's self. The shop is easy to see, and there's parking round the side. We walked in to be greeted by a young chap who took our order after we viewed the menu. Prices are cheaper than from where we are normally from. A margarita 16" pizza for £11. And a 2nd pizza for just £1. The pizzas were nice however we didn't try anything else on the menu.

Terrible service. Terrible food. There are other takeaways in Hornsea that offer better service and nicer food!

Absolutely no complaints what so ever. Had many different take-away meals - wraps, kebab's, pizza's, fried chicken, chips. All well cooked and tasty. Reasonable priced and oh so big!

Absolutely appalled with the treatment we received from the staff at Pizza house. Ordered our meals and could hear the girl on the phone whispering on whether or not to take our call. Afterwards we were told a 40 minute wait. Perfectly fine we understand food takes time to cook and deliver. The phone rings about 40 minutes later and I answer. The same girl is on the phone when I answer. She is downright rude to me the moment I start speaking to her. She tells me that the delivery driver is on the way back to Hornsea as he had knocked on the door and we hadn't answered. She then told me that she had rang us and we had answered laughing at them. Straight after, we are told our house is banned from said takeaway. All these things are completely false. I ask why the driver is going back and she repeats all the same points in a rude manner. She then tells me the address I live at. Also wrong. Even though it was the takeaways and the delivery drivers incompetence, we are made out to be the idiots. She then tells me she will ring the driver and hangs up. About 5 minutes later I get another phone call. They cannot get in contact with the driver. That was it, order cancelled. Never going back there. Absolutely disgusted.

Great range on the menu, friendly staff and seemingly very clean. Excellent value for money and food was delicious.

Pizza House is a nice take away. They are centrally located in Hornsea and are open 7 days a week.
