La Paz Pizzeria in East Riding of Yorkshire

The pizza was lovely. They have a great deal on pizza 🍕 It was slightly over cooked. And it was very late but still came nearly hot.

Absolutely disgusting. Ordered half chicken, chips and curry sauce for £11.50 in Justeat. What was delivered was two very old (and I mean old) horrid inedible chicken legs and chips. It want straight in the bin. Demanded a refund from Justeat. Buyer beware!!

Rang late and asked if they were still open they were just not only did they stay open for us to collect the pizza it was really tasty and a great price!

Awful. Won't order again. "Ham" on the pizza smelled and looked bizarre I even called to check what it was as it doesn't seem right and the person couldn't have been less interested. My husband and son tried picking it off and eating the pizza but it mostly went in the bin. My mushroom pizza was marginally better but the chips all had grey spots on them and we're delivered in melted polystyrene box. £23 mostly in the bin.

Did an order through Just eat for a delivery and paid for food including a delivery charge online. When the food was delivered the driver demanded another £5 for delivery although we had already paid for delivery and the driver would not leave our order until we paid more money. Very disappointed with the service will not use again.

Good variety of choice reasonable prices great polite service

After quite a few poor meals at our usual go to takeaway we finally decided that enough was enough, although la Paz had quite a few bad reviews we thought it couldn’t be any worse than our previous place of choice and placed an order via just eat a delivery time was given as 8.40 to 9pm it’s now 8.30 and all I can say was the food was piping hot , tasted great and arrived a lot earlier than expected which was an added bonus as we were rather hungry. Will definitely be placing another order next time we want a takeaway

Shocking!! Recently moved to driffield and it's just cost nearly £22 for two burgers and chips and a garlic bread, more salad than burger and tastes of nothing, never again may I add the burgers were nearly £7 each without chips

At 38 iv used 100s of places none ever like this?chicken like its sat in vinegar.chilli sauce sulfuric acid.garlic mushrooms are in cream.?binned the lot.and i eat anything.literally.worst food iv ever eaten in my life.don't believe me order it lol.pics look great.its not.

Awful ! 45 mins late and stone cold ! Upon arrival told it was an extra £6 !! Never on this earth would I pay £18 for a 12" pizza and chips ! Will not be ordering again

Food tasted great but was it going lukewarm (had to put in the microwave) so it was clear it had been put a side till the delivery driver had multiple orders to drop off at the same time.

A shame that a Pizzeria resorts to using poor quality bread and cheap ingredients. Very bad quality and quite disappointing. I would be happy to pay a bit extra and have fresh dough - not pre bought pizza bases. + side is that the delivery time was exceptional!

Food was over cooked and very dry , like it had either been reheated or kept warm for a long time. Sorry to say we didn’t eat most of it but threw it away. A waste of money. Did come on time though.

Delivered late without drinks. When drinks were brought they were incorrect. Normally great service and quality- can only put down to being very busy

We ordered from here for a change as family wanted to try the pizza..think it was 16 or 20 inches. About an hour from ordering to delivery. I ordered a mixed kebab as dont often do pizza. Pizza was nice, kebab was generous sized, but too much donner meat, not enough of other meats. Social distancing adhered to on delivery.

We appreciate that weekends can be very busy so orders may be 10/15 minutes late but been over an hour is unacceptable this was made worst when I rang the takeaway to ask were it was at this point had already been 40 minutes late, they had forgotten to diliver the order it has been an hour and 10 minuets and still hasn’t arrived

Food was cold. They forgot to cut the pizza. It took 2 hours to arrive. Will not be ordering again.

My order was over 1 hour late I rung twice and they kept saying 15 mins it will be there not happy at all

I’m not exaggerating when I say it was the worst meal we’ve eaten in our entire lives. It was late, the food was cold, the food didn’t taste nice, and the comments we added via the just eat app were completely ignored. Usually if you have a bad experience you’d normally give it a second chance, but this was that bad in every single way I wouldn’t put us through it again. If I could leave no stars I would. AVOID!

Order was 40 mins late.. kebab was nice but chips were so salty. Both me and my partner could feel the awful salty after taste in our mouths, and both woke up horrendously thirsty all through the night. Was 40 mins late, when we rung to ask how long the order would be the guy on the phone was incredibly rude.

Foods good really enjoyed it. Delivery was really late. When it arrived it was really cold. Called up and all they would offer is a free meal next time... I wasnt happy with that so asked for another pizza. But he said I need to pick it up... after a bit of too and throw they delivered my pizza 3 hours after I ordered it.....

We ordered our food at 17.45 it told us our food would be delivered at 18.50 then got a message to say it was going to be delivered at 19.10 which then I rang at 19.15 to see where the order was and I was told it set off 5 minutes ago our order arrived at 20.00 very cold and not edible soggy stale I wouldn’t feed what came to my dogs

We have had food from La Paz lots of times before but this time our food was late so I rang to be told it was just leaving . 10 minutes later my wife rang and was told it would be with us any minute and was offered money off . When the food arrived it was only warm not hot as though it had been ready quite a while.

This used to be our go to place but will never visit again, ordered a special mixed kebab with sauces and salad, doner meat was dry and crispy, beef/lamb was like pebbles from the beach and it only got worse. Also ordered a large Donner calzone with extra cheese and onion, very disappointing and very thin of filling, poor is giving it a compliment and it doesn't even deserve the one star given, very disappointed and wont be back.

Best takeaway I’ve had in ages!

Food cold and extra notes ignored, one wrap couldn’t be eaten as both sauces were put on even though stated not to, this is the 2nd tome this has happened, what’s the point in having an extra instructions box if it’s not followed

Feeling like a takeaway, we opted for here for a change. We ordered on line, and it arrived earlier than the website stated. We ordered 2 of their deals and were not disappointed, burgers, chips and onion rings and pizza. Hot fresh and tasty, the only disappointed was we had not got the square pizza we ordered, but we did get an apology! Better luck next time!

Delicious food and speedy delivery!

No tomato on my pizza what I was charged for. The pizza was supposed to be bolognese and it just tasted of minced beef and nothing else. Maybe Google a recipe for bolognese and start again. The parmesan was very dry and seemed to be missing the bachemal sauce. The Spanish omelette was OK

Good pizza 30mins late to deliver

We had to send the garlic mushrooms back as they were covered in cheese which we didn't ask for, the calzone wasn't a Kiev one donee have sent these back.

Was suppose to be delivered by 7 didnt arrive till 7.46 arrived cold then the driver forgot my bottle Of pop so then another 30 mins waiting

Food arrived early, piping hot and very tasty, order was all correct, can’t fault the service at all ! Will definitely be ordering again 👍🏼

The food was excellent but we paid an extra £2.80 for one of the pizza’s to be deep pan and it wasn’t 😡 shall also add an extra reminder in the notes in future!

It took an hour and twenty five minutes for pizza and chips. I asked for no chip spice and garlic on the pizza. Both requests ignored. Rang twice about the delivery and both times said it would be 5 mins.

It’s not even here yet and having ordered at 18.20 and it now being 20.15 it’s ridiculous. Won’t order through these guys again. Can’t even rate the food as it’s not arrived. My advice: if you want your food don’t order from these fools!

If you want a fast takeaway don't use these guys nice food shame about the rubbish service ..ordered food through just eat at 6i00pm to be delivered at 645 food finally came at745 after 4 phone calls and promised free food for inconvenience after one more phone call finally arrived at 840 2 hrs and 40 mins to deliver isn't good. sorry

Food was great. Delivery was 45-50 minutes late after delivery time was postponed by the restaurant by 15mins. Which I wouldn't have minded. But nearly an hour... Then on top of that is the delivery charge. When told by the restaurant there is a delivery charge for brandesburton on the page... There is not... Yet you advertise delivery as £1.50. as there was no option to choose and delivery almost an hour late I should not have had to pay the delivery charge. Rethink!

Placed order, delivery time 1 hr 15 mins. Quite a while but it’s a Friday night so it’s ok. Relax in front of tv with a drink. Delivery time comes and goes no sign of any food, still ok I’m chilling with a bottle of vodka. It’s about 2 hours since I ordered, I’ve not eaten since breakfast n by now I’ve had a few drinks n feeling pretty Hank Marvin. Phone up to enquire where my food is, spoke to a bloke with quite a heavy foreign accent, no idea what he said just hung up and hoped that my food would come soon!!! Half hour later it arrives n it’s cold but to be honest by this point I’ve drink that much n hungry I’d have eaten a scabby donkey!!!!

It's only got a hygiene rating of 3 and it looks about right from first sight, pitza was OK but I couldn't stop thinking about the hygiene.

Food was lovely but was it worth waiting two and a half hours for...no. Ordered around 8pm and didnt get it until gone 10.30 by which time we were nodding off so had gone past being hungry really. We decided to give La Paz another go after stopping using them before so i think we'll be going back to the one we used to use - at least they're reliable. Also called at 9.50 to tell us it was 10 minutes away so blatently lied. It wouldn't be so bad if they were honest about the timings...

Been waiting over an hour and half been told twice on phone driver had set off. I'm still waiting on food if it's cold there will be another review on how bad food is aswell as there drivers and restaurant never again will I order from here absolute joke

La Paz used to be a decent takeaway service, but has massivley gone down hill recently. Ordered food at 20:00 and still waiting at 22:30. Called the restaurant at about 22:00 and they hadn't even started cooking it. Told it would only be 20 mins which has now passed. There was little to no apology and was told we'd get some free drinks which is a small consolation when it's now past my kids bedtime and they have yet to eat. I will not be ordering from La Paz again.

We ordered from here after arriving home late from work. I opted for a mixed kebab and could only eat half as the portion was so generous, while my husband had a pizza. Very nice, well cooked and delivered earlier than expected.

Was missing part of our order of large fries and ordered over £25 and no free margarita pizza the menu does not mention if this excludes delivered orders.

2 hour wait for chips burnt to a crisp and doner meat that’s ice cold is just shocking. And not the first time either. Will definitely not be ordering from this place again. And not a single apology by anyone. The delivery driver practically threw it in our hand and left.

Got a message to say it going to be 10mins later, Ok no problem, and then when it turns up it didn’t have half the food that it should, then we ring up to say that it was missing (as we have Saturday night takeaway as a family and sit down and eat it together ) they wouldn’t even remake us our tea they just said they would bring what was missing!! Don’t think it’s on as anywhere else would have put it right as it was. There fault and re done the full order we won’t be going back there again lost a good customer.

I made a order along with this one and part of the order was missing... I asked to replace the rest of the food so we could all eat together and give back the other food and the answer was no!! It was their error not ours and yet people were made to wait for their food whilst others ate!!! Will never order from them again and I advise others not to either
