Had to go here due to a problem in Gauchos kitchen. Food was cold and not very nice. I’m normally a big fan of this chain much more so than the rest of the family but even I couldn’t defend them. They took 3 off the 4 main courses of the menu due to poor quality. Service was fine no issues whatsoever but after our complaint the manager told our server that he would be fired when his shift finished. Let’s be clear it was the food that was the problem not the service. Manager was then rude when we questioned this. Not a nice man and if anyone deserves sacking it’s him. Wish I took his name to publicly name and shame the manager.

Pizza express in covent garden was very busy all the time lucky l got a table with out having to book. Very pleasent atmosphere interesting menu with plenty of choice. Service was competent no rush all in all avery enjoyable experience.

Larisa was fantastic...so friendly, attentive and made great recommendations. She's a real credit to the restaurant. Food was delicious...thin base pizza with very fresh toppings

So this is the thing, we wanted to have some food before going to Matilda the Musical. We went to PZE as they have a gluten free menu and we have been quite happy in the past. The service was really good and friendly, however the pizza quality was not great. There were not many toppings on the pizza and the base was not great. We can make it a lot better at home and that is not why you go to a pizza restaurant. Will give it a rest for a while and risk it again in a few months. I believe in second chances.

My friends and I nipped in for a bite to eat before seeing a show, and we had the best time! We LOVE pizza express, and the staff at this location couldn’t have been more helpful - they recommended some great dishes, all of which we loved and devoured. I think our servers name was Tara (I hope this is right!), and she made our evening so special, hats off to you for providing such great service ✨ we will definitely be back again!

We went for a birthday meal and the service was incredible, particularly as we hadn't booked.All the staff were superb and very friendly. Our waitrrss was incredible and had a great sense of humour. The food was great, very tasty and hot. Well done Bow Street branch. ❤️❤️

Staff were very attentive, polite and quick. The food is standard and as you'd expect for a Pizza Express. Book if you're going at a busy period i.e. around Christmas holidays at 5pm - there were so many people who were turned away chancing a table.

I cannot rate the food since we did not get a chance to do so anyways. The wait time for someone to come and take the order was too long. When someone finally did come, she picked an argument about not having my own drink, which was water with electrolytes, while dinning in. They were not even keen on retaining us when we decided to leave.

Staff and manager always friendly and good service no long wait times

Rude staff. We have a 7 months old baby sleeping in stroller . We were not allowed to use disable entrance and asked us to use entrance that has stairs. And inside we re asked to take (sleeping baby) out of his stroller and hold him in my arms. Very unprofessional and inhumane will never go there again

We were at Bow street Pizza express on Wednesday 13.12.23 for lunch and Alexander our waiter was fantastic, so kind, helpful and attentive. He was 5 star. The food was really tasty and we will definitely go back. Thank you.

I’ve never written a review for a restaurant before, but this was a terrible dining experience. Food was awful- I ordered a Caesar salad and it was probably the worst I’ve ever had. Pizza was mediocre at best. The food lacked complete flavor. You know it’s bad when a Caesar salad is awful. It was so loud and not enjoyable at all. Screaming kids and babies everywhere, as well as adults. Overall, the food was awful and it was extremely disappointing and unsatisfying.

Food services was so poor our food took ages to come out and when it did it was stone cold we had ordered 2 pizzas and they where so cold it was about 1 hour 45 it took to come out and when our server delivered the food he used the excuse as i forgot to bring it out to you I don’t feel like 2 pizzas would take 1 hour an 45 mins to come out And if my pizza had cost £16 I had expected it to be a least hot we had asked for my pizza taken off the bill what was only fair If your looking for some where nice to eat I would keep looking Also really despondent with the prices £10 for 6 dough balls witch again was cold when delivered to my table

We've been here before and had good food. Tonight I sent my undercooked , limp, pizza back. They put it back in the oven and it came back rubbery, like yesterday's pizza reheated. Awful, won't rush back. Not happy.

Amazing experience, especially the service by Alexandre was really good. I don’t remember when was the last time I had such a good dinner that was this relaxing. Also lovely Christmas tree with dough balls as charms. Must go! especially if it’s a date night like I had.

Visited the Bow Street branch on the afternoon of 26th November. As expected, the restaurant was fully booked and very busy. Unfortunately our food arrived cold and had to be returned (to be microwaved I assume?) When I asked for the £15 service charge to be removed as we had not had a good experience the waiting staff became unhelpful and abrupt. This meal had been booked as part of a special afternoon theatre trip and spoilt our overall experience that day. I appreciate large venues at busy times may struggle to provide great customer service but this was poor.

We arrived late for our reserved table due to traffic. We were shown to our table and our waiter came to take our order minutes later. We explained that we only had about half an hour due to being so late and needing to get to our show. Our waiter was amazing! He put our orders through immediately and food and drinks arrived minutes later, despite the restaurant being so full, they were turning people away. Our waiter arranged for us to pay our bill in advance of the food arriving, so as to make it quick and easy to leave once we had finished dining. Food arrived hot and was enjoyable. This has to be one of the best restaurant experiences we have had in a long time; other restaurants could learn a lot from this Pizza Express.

Restaurant was extremely busy with staff all over the place. Took a good 15-20 minutes before someone took our order. My starter was undercooked (calamari) and soggy. Pizza came almost immediately after we finished the starter and then pizza was average- not to the normal standard of Pizza express.

Great Central location. Very busy and service can be slow. Food arrived quickly and not a bad place to eat while central to attractions.

I visited this location in September while on holiday from the US and the service and food was wonderful! Even more wonderful is their spectacular customer service and the manager here at this location. I accidentally left a MAC cosmetics bag with items I had purchased earlier on our table when we left. I didn't realize I was missing it until we had gotten almost all the way to Gatwick, where our next flight was leaving out from. I filled out a form on their website that evening and it took a few days but I heard from someone via email who also cc'd the manager of the Bow St location. They had found my bag and had it there at the store! Unfortunately I had already left the country. It took a few weeks of back and forth emails but the manager offered to ship the bag to my home in the US. I received my MAC bag today, a little more than a month later but better late than never. 🙂 I am BEYOND impressed with the customer service provided to me by Jessica from the corporate office and the manager of the Bow St location in order to get my bag returned to me. I will forever be a lifelong customer of Pizza Express from now on whenever I visit the UK. Thank you so, so much!!

We always come to this Pizza Express for dinner whenever we are down in London. We had a pizza which we had never had before - Pizza Dolce - and it was wonderful ! Will definitely have this one again. The service from Ricardo was first class.

Alexsandar looked after us this evening. He was lovely very attentive, food was really good and the best pizza express we’ve had in a while. Thanks chefs! Also great manager help us out with the app confusion. All in all lovely evening.

Walked in, show to table, waited fifteen minutes and nobody even came to the table to take a drinks order so decided to leave.

The Barbacoa thin crust pizza was excellent. Not sure if it's common here in the UK, but they brought garlic-infused olive oil to the table. Very nice! All 4 of us ordered different pizzas, and all we're pleased (of course mine was the best). Wait staff was very good.

Restaurant war leer trotzdem kam der Kellner erst nach einer Ewigkeit. Ich habe eine glutenfreie Pizza bestellt mit Knoblauch Garnelen meine Tochter eine normale Margarita. Die normale Pizza war gut gebacken meine glutenfreie war nicht richtig durch, der Boden weich der Käse nicht gebräunt und die Garnelen fast noch roh und ohne jegliche Würze, von Knoblauch keine Spur. Zum Glück wurde der Manager auf uns aufmerksam und hat sich entschuldigt und meine Pizza von der Rechnung genommen. Trotzdem würde ich nicht nochmal dort essen, sorry

He immediately acknowledged we are a returning customer and said 'Hello' with a great BIG SMILE! His service is friendly & always efficient. A wonderful person inside out as he always serves delicious finger licking food. Always at the right temperature & bang on time. I will definitely be revisiting & of course will always recommend your great food & first class customer service.

The coffee and desserts were average definitely tried better than these. The staffs were really rude.. They acted like they don't care. Also it wasn’t so busy when we were there still they took a long time just to take our order. Not going again.

Dads 70th, we had a lovely time here, some of the orders got mixed up, but mainly ll was well. It was very nice of the staff to sing to the old man. I think they may have been under pressure but pulled it off. thank you all so much. Robin and Rachel.

Probably the worst experience I’ve had in a restaurant, the manager asked us to empty the table because our order is not much. His reason was because the restaurant is full. There was literally 6 tables empty just around us.

Pizza was good quality however portion sizes were disappointing for the spend. We understand Covent Garden is a bit pricey. It was on time and maybe we did not understand the app for the sizing.

Came here to eat before going to a theatre and was delighted by the quick service, clean restaurant, and delicious food. I believe that our food (two pizzas) came in less than 10 minutes. Top quality.

Visited Pizza house today, with my grandchildren. Usually Pizza houses are warm and welcoming. The girl serving us could not understand English. She was bad mannered, waited for so long for our pizza to come through cause she kept it waiting at the counters for ever. She could not remove the dirty dishes until prompted by us. The cook behind the counter was just as unconcerned that we waited so long. We had young children and we kept taking them down stairs to the toilets cause the stuck up waiter could not tell us there was a toilet on the same floor that we were eating in. Go learn some English and customer services that will make a difference!

Absolutely amazing, one of the best restaurants I've been too, food was very tasty and quick to be delivered to our table we were sat very quickly and our waiter Kofil was absolutely fantastic, I asked him to bring over a cake with a candle for my partners birthday and he made it funny and put his heart into it! All in all amazing treatment.

I was just sent off from the restaurant because they told me that they do take away only at this hour. As far as I know (since I am regular customer of Pizza express) the restaurant works untill 22:30. It was never like this before. To be honest I am a bit disspointed.
