Barbie Green in City of London, Westminster

Absolute joke of a place. Arrived at 4pm for drinks and initially apparent manager refusing to offer tables booked for 5.15 pm. Challenged time frame as only there for an hour or so. Ordered bottle of wine and same manager challenged that 3 people would drink a bottle in the 1 hour 15 min timeframe! Eventually agreed but when ordered second bottle , we had to go outside in the rain for 30 mins before table booking arrived. Never met anyone in hospitality business so inept in service industry. Amazing place for lunch. Enjoyed the banana bread sandwich, buttermilk pancakes, dirty daisy, shakshuka and smashed avacado.

the food was good also the coffee i can give food 7/10 but the menu was small they should put more dishes - the staff were friendly

Whatever you do don’t think you can go into this restaurant without booking. We made this mistake and were treated like lepers. A waiter came up to us and instead of politely asking us if we had booked embarrassed us in from of the whole restaurant. He quickly took the menus off us and we scurried out a most unpleasant experience.

It wasn't busy when we came here. We were in a bit of a hurry but thought we would try this independent coffee shop rather than Pret. We were shown to a table and given menus. I did say we only wanted coffee. We were then left and after about 5 minutes I went to the till and ordered. The coffee took nearly another 10 minutes to be brought to our table with the bill which was good as we didn't have too much time but about 15 percent service charge was added which I thought was a bit cheeky. Also the lady who was behind the till wasn't very friendly. The coffee however was very good.

Not friendly. Ordered a drink & snack and snack. At 4pm I was told I had to pay. Service very poor. I I will avoid in future.

Popped in for a drink whilst exploring the wall Busy Food looked good We were only having drinks and we felt like we were a bit of an annoyance 2 Saracha Bloody Mary’s, one Aperol spritz and a banana smoothie almost 50 quid - wouldn’t mind a bit of a smile for that sort of money…?

we went for bottomless brunch, the portobello meal was perfect, as well as the blueberry pancakes. the portions are huge, we could not finish everything. the bloody Mary is also very nice. the service was really good as well, our waiter, Eric was amazing. and the location is really nice as well. will be returning soon!

In our week long trip to London we visited twice! Had both the blueberry pancakes and banana break sandwich, which was probably my favorite, but would happily eat both again! The service was also great!

I visited today with my mum, sister-in law and her mum as a mothers day + wedding celebration. The prosecco was lovely, and the food was amazing- highly recommend the pancakes. So much choice you just want to go back to try it all! The decor and vibe are really relaxing but refreshing and bright and the staff are very friendly, patient and generally just positive! Can’t wait to come again, will be trying other Daisy Green locations too! Thanks to the team for a perfect Sunday brunch! X

Booked this place because I was going to the Barbican. Menu is fairly limited. We had 2 pizzas, 2 pints of beer and a small bowl of olives which came to £50. Really not worth the price.

I had a Sunday brunch here recently and it was delicious, I had smoked Salmon Royale and it was fresh, tasty and not too expensive for what you get. I was served by the lovely Mantas who went out of his way to be cheerful and check I was ok and enjoying my food. He's an asset to the restaurant. I will definitely be back!

The best breakfast in London and they are dog friendly I highly recommend this beautiful place. The atmosphere, location and staff are all superb.

Went here to celebrate my birthday and was utterly disappointed. The staff were very rude and didn’t have a clue what menus were live or what was available. Food was nice but let down by the frosty atmosphere from front of house staff. Paid the bill and said bye/thanks to the staff who ignored us and couldn’t even bring a smile to their face. Sort of the front of house staff!!!

Lovely place to go for a coffee. Even though it's small, its modern and airy and ideal that there are lots of places to eat/drink outside too. Lovely area.

We went to Barbie Green on one of it's opening days and the service was great as was the food! Really lovely vibes and in summer the outdoor seating with the view of the London Wall ruins would be lovely. Could not recommend more!
