We went for a birthday dinner in the private room on Friday night and it was exceptional! The food was delicious, the venue is gorgeous and all of the staff are just fantastic - attentive, glasses never empty, nothing too much trouble. An absolutely brilliant evening - will most defintely be returning for dinner in the main restaurant. Thank you so much

Always have a great time here. Food and service and entertainment are all FAB. We passed on the tuna tartare this time, after a recommendation from Vish…Instead ordered the Crudo cold starter. The best damn thing you can order!!! If you like raw fish… run, don’t walk folks. 10/10. No notes.

Had a fantastic dining experience at The MAINE Mayfair! The two of us started with the Crab & Avocado Salad, which was fresh and well-balanced, and the Chargrilled Octopus, which had a perfect smoky flavor and tender texture. For mains, we enjoyed the Lobster Pasta, rich and packed with succulent lobster meat, and the Grilled Maine Lobster, which was absolutely delicious. The service was excellent, with friendly staff who made us feel welcome. The ambiance was brilliant, elegant yet relaxed, making it a perfect spot for a memorable meal. Highly recommend!

We had an incredible evening at The Maine in Mayfair celebrating my mum's 60th birthday. The ambiance was fantastic, the food was absolutely delicious, and the service was exceptional. This place is a must visit if you come to london. The food here is great and the atmosphere is amazing. I have been to this place many times and for sure will comeback again.

The food is fantastic, the staff are welcoming and friendly. The shows are phenomenal (especially on a Friday and Saturday). I highly recommend a visit. Please make the effort to dress up... you don't want to be the only one who doesn't. Only suggestion is more variety for vegetarian/vegan to the menu as my partner didn't have much to choose from.

Vish who was our waiter for the night was great. He recommended his favourite dishes which were all delicious and had a great positive vibe. The Italian general manger on the night was also great and very accommodating. Overall a great experience and great atmosphere.

We had high expectations for this restaurant, but unfortunately, our experience was far from pleasant. While the food itself was decent, the service and atmosphere completely ruined the evening. First, the staff were openly arguing at each other while we were dining, creating an uncomfortable and unprofessional environment. On top of that, one of our main dishes—the lobster pasta—arrived cold, which was unacceptable for the price we were paying. The worst part, however, was the treatment we received regarding the optional service charge. We chose not to pay it, which is our right, but the staff reacted poorly, making passive-aggressive comments suggesting we shouldn’t dine at "expensive places" if we couldn’t afford it. This was incredibly rude and uncalled for, especially since our bill was £500. A restaurant at this price point should prioritize professionalism, quality service, and respect for its customers. Sadly, this place failed in all three areas. Would not recommend.

It was my first and last time coming to this place. So beautiful, nice music, good food and terrible staff. They will do their best to make you feel uncomfortable and not welcome. You are not allowed to take photo with flash light ( which is understandable) so we tried to use the light on the table and the guy came over to tell us that the light is so expensive and it’s from France, they each cost a $1000 and we should not touch it (so embarrassing in front of my friends) You can tell they are racist by the way they treat their customers differently.

We loved the maine so much in ibiza we found out from the waiter that we have one in London so we couldn't wait to try and it didn't disappoint. It was giving classy, sophisticated ambience, serving amazing food, everything you expect from a fine dining restaurant. We will make a later booking next time as they have live music in the evenings. Highly recommend. A stunning restaurant. The fish tacos were amazing!! also the oysters and warm cookie for dessert was delicious.

Amazing in every aspect! Loved the wine selection and the super sweet man who helped us choose. Food was delicious and worth the prices; we had the filet mignon, truffle mac&cheese and escargot! Really good. Staff were overall very sweet & friendly. Also the live music was superb.

We had a horrible experience at Maine Mayfair in December 24 for our work Christmas lunch. We booked in for lunch for myself and my colleagues, some who had travelled from outside of London to be there, based on an online menu on their website (link is still live on website 20/2 as pictured) which offers two courses for £35. When booking I also added in the comments that we would be going for the two course deal for £35. At no point was I contacted to advise this wasn't available. We turned up on the day and was advised that the offer was not available, despite being able to show them the menu in person on their website. We however said we were flexible on dishes and was there another set menu around a similar cost they could provide and were told no, we would have to order off the el a carte menu, which would have exceeded our work budget. We ended up leaving and having a lovely lunch somewhere else that luckily was able to accomodate us on one of the busiest days of the year. At no point did the staff members offer to refund me the £20 deposit or honour the deal on the website, and since then I have still not received a refund for the deposit or been contacted at all about my booking despite being asked too. Absolutely shocking level of service from a high end establishment, I have certainly been advising people to not attend.

We had an amazing experience at the Maine! The food was absolutely delicious, and the atmosphere was lovely, with some smooth jazz playing our favorite songs in the background. The staff was friendly and accommodating, but a special shout-out goes to our head waiter, Vish. He guided us through the menu, made sure we had the break we requested between starters and mains, and ensured the food was served warm and right to our table. He checked in just the right amount, making sure we were enjoying ourselves throughout the meal. Highly recommend!

I had a fantastic evening with my Mum and brother celebrating our birthdays. Cristian took great care of us and gave great food recommendations and even gave us all birthday candles in our puddings. The music and atmosphere was great. It's pricey so definitely a special occasion place, and is quite full of people taking photos of themselves and the food rather than just enjoying where they are.

Quality of service is below par. Ordered a gift card for a friend's birthday however the wrong order was delivered. It was clearly someone else's order as it was addressed to a completely different individual for an entirely different sum. The 'birthday surprise' is out of the window and will now be late (whenever the correct order decides to show) with the inconvenience of returning the wrongly issued card. Despite reaching out by email last week I'm still waiting for the team to rectify this. No communication to date and not a great start.

Everything about our experience at The Maine was outstanding, from the food to the ambiance. The sticky short ribs were incredible, and the sea bream crudo with caviar was definitely the best I’ve ever had. A special shoutout to AJ, who was in charge of our table and went above and beyond to make our evening exceptional. He was not only attentive and friendly but also incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. His recommendations were spot on, and his professionalism truly elevated our experience. Overall, it was an amazing night, and I’ll definitely be coming back!!

My favourite place to go in London for oysters, to not talk about the amazing customer service ! I had high expectations for The MAINE Mayfair, but unfortunately, our experience fell far short of what I’d expect from a restaurant of this caliber. We arrived on time for our 9:30 pm reservation, only to be seated at the bar for nearly 30 minutes because the restaurant had overbooked—over 500 guests in one evening! When we finally got our table, the service was shockingly poor. We placed our drink order, but it took 20 minutes for the salad to arrive—before the drinks, no less. The food itself was relatively ok. I had the sirloin steak, and my wife had the spicy pasta, both of which were decent. The biggest issue was the service. Our waiter, who likely had an Eastern European accent, behaved as if he was above serving us, leaving us feeling unwelcome. He lacked professionalism and courtesy—essential qualities in the service industry. It was the gentleman at the check-in desk who ultimately comped us two drinks, which I appreciated, but it felt like an attempt to salvage what was otherwise a frustrating evening. To add to the disappointment, the wine prices were absolutely outrageous—marked up to six times the retail price, which is ridiculously high for a venue like this. Overall, the poor service, chaotic reservation management, and excessive pricing made it difficult to enjoy the evening. I expected much more from a restaurant like The MAINE Mayfair, and unfortunately, I wouldn’t recommend it based on this experience.

Came for dinner on a Friday. Vish looked after us and provided absolutely exceptional service; friendly and attentive. Stayed for the Latin band who were fantastic and had a great meal.

A truly glamorous place with a great cocktail menu! Really nice outside terrace - a great place to be on a warm evening! I would like to mention however there is a bit of a slow service we observed and we didn’t think the food stood out as we expected. However, vibrant atmosphere and a perfect place if you love dressing up!

Thank you for an amazing experience for my cousins 21st birthday. From the start of the evening, until the end of the evening, the customer service was top. We were assisted to our table by a lovely host, our waiter (Cristian) was very helpful, kind and attentive. The quality of the meat was exceptional and we enjoyed sharing all the flavours as group dining together. The show and entertainment added to our experience and made it memorable!

Beautiful venue with live music and good food, a very fun evening with some dear friends

A beautiful restaurant, but very bad service and unjustified delay. We took a table for two people and ordered 6 dishes. We only received 3 dishes within an hour and 45 minutes, knowing that the table next to us was designated for 5 people. They sat down a full hour later and received the entire order in less than 45 minutes. Unfortunately, The manager's behavior was very dirty, and even the rest of the employees had a similar style, to the point that the waiter knew that the order was late, and if we pointed it out to him, he looked at the other party. A bad experience, and I do not recommend it to anyone. 5 people, because unfortunately the treatment varies depending on how much you pay

This was by far the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. I was left waiting for over 30 minutes, and when I addressed the issue, the manager, a African woman, was shockingly rude and dismissive. Her unprofessionalism ruined the entire experience. I strongly advise against visiting this restaurant.

Amazing food and cocktials in a burlesque-style environment. The food I had was delcious, their crudo/carpaccio is great and their cocktails were some of the best in London. They're also some of the most expensive (upwards of £25) but if you're looking for a treat in what feels like you could be in the Great Gatsby, then the MAINE is the place.

The MAINE Mayfair was an absolute treat! Christian and all the brilliant team looked after us so well – his service was thoughtful and elevated the experience l. The food was fantastic, and the cocktails were spot on, especially The Maine Event – slipped down v easily! The jazz band was incredible, so cool to have live music and gave the place such a great vibe. Love the upmarket decor. V much a destination venue. Everything just came together perfectly – amazing food, drinks, service, and entertainment. I will definitely recommend
