The best service I have experienced in a restaurant in London! We were running a bit late for our reservation, and about to miss the happy out offer! We still got the 2 cocktails for one! Nothing was too much for the staff! They were very attentive all night and polite! Many thanks to Ronaldo and his team on the terrace! What a fabulous night! The food was delicious and great atmosphere! I definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a special meal!I will definitely be back!

Very very nice place, most of it is underground with the exception of the little outdoor area, nice in summer. The restaurant interior design is very special, well thought off, and the atmosphere is lovely. They put on shows, nice music, and the service is good, staff are very attentive. The food is good but some dishes could be better. Overall I like this place, if you’re looking for high end Lunch/Dinner with a twist, this is the spot!

Food was amazing, especially their sea food platter. Non-stop jazz music by multiple bands. Service was super polite and attentive. There is a dress code, but unfortunately people don’t follow and come with tshirts. Rules should be implied more strictly.

We were so excited to try the Maine Mayfair on our trip to London. Beyond disappointed to say the least. To start an absolutely beautiful brasserie, cool 1920s vibe but horrible service. Our waiter would be nowhere to be found, we’d start pouring our own wine (which is no problem to us & we’d be more than happy to) then he would run over take it out of our hands to do it. Then our food came. Our filets were decent, nothing special at all for the price. My father in law had to send his steak back TWICE to get it cooked to the temperature he requested, which was then followed up by our waiter giving us some snobby remark making fun of how he wanted his steak cooked. Then we get the bill. Our waiter took full advantage and made us tip an extra over 100.00 USD by saying the 15% gratuity didn’t go to him. So in total we tipped 30%!! BULLCRAP, for the service given. Food was decent. I could get just as good of a steak meal at a chain restaurant in the US. We also were surrounded by tables doing nothing but taking photos. A total social media trapped restaurant. Not to mention, the jazz band played a few songs then took a ‘break’ for the rest of our time at the restaurant. No show, no performance was seen. I will certainly not return nor suggest this restaurant to anyone I know.

The meal was in vain. We ate a total of 160 pounds for the dishes in the picture; the atmosphere was okay, there were performances, but you couldn’t see a complete view from the basic sitting position; if you are seen online by Instagram or other software If Hong also wants to take pictures, please don't come, because this is not allowed. The lights are dark. First of all, turning on the flash is not allowed, but it is not even allowed to take pictures of people with the lights on the dining table. I don't understand this. Why, we didn’t affect other people. After we finished the meal, we were forced to pay. When they saw us taking pictures, they said that the table was not allowed to be used anymore because the lamp on the dining table was used to assist in taking pictures. We were even educated by the female supervisor. Three times.

If you want an early dinner/ late lunch, definitely consider this place! Oysters were great (just missing a lemon slice), starter of the ceaser salad was okay - some of the chicken was very very over cooked and I was unable to cut into it and eat it. The truffle chicken was fine, too - the fries were definitely over done but the prawn linguine was very well cooked. The crème brûlée was well made, also. A huge array of wine was available, including a very large cocktail list. Special shout out to Edgar - he made me and my friend feel so so welcome. The staff at this restaurant are so attentive and me and my friend left feeling so looked after. (Apart from the host who “greeted” us at the start - very passive aggressive and unwelcoming). However, other than the small disappointments, we were very impressed. The atmosphere and ambience make up for the downsides.

An amazing venue, excellent service and lovely entertainment. We were on the level with live music, not dance. Originally allocated a small cramped space, we were given a better table on request, as availability allowed. The food we ordered was average, nothing spectacular, but ok. We were only able to have the table for a two hour limit. Not ideal, but they had a full house on a Tuesday evening.

Had a lovely birthday meal here, the venue is beautiful with it's lovely chandeliers, although a bit more light would be great to be able to see the menu 😅. Bang on 7.30 the live band started which provided a nice ambience for dinner. I thought one of the scallops in my starter was a tad bit overdone, but the other was great. The shrimp linguine main was lovely, with just the right kick of chilli. The dessert portions are huge, so maybe order 1 to share between two people. The cocktails were ok...they were not bad, but ive had better 🙂 I would visit again, it was a nice experience.

I love the building, I think it's from the 18th century if I remember correctly. Incredible bar in the vaults. Also a show to enjoy good music and dancing along with food. Everything is created to enjoy 😊

My honest review dining at The Maine, Mayfair. Atmosphere is unmatched - we dined on a Thursday evening which was particularly busy and pleasant with a live Jazz band for entertainment. However the food was below expectations and also cold. The lights from the band highlighted an unfortunate hair in our tenderstem broccoli, staff were called whom pretended that they couldn’t see it and even hesitated replacing! No apologies or basic customer service expressed which added major insult to the wound especially when the facility is charging 12.5% / 15% service charge. The restaurant provides a complimentary Tomato & Mozzarella appetiser which was quite satisfying. The service was by far the worst part of our experience. We’d perhaps try again as a group, but for drinks only. To be transparent there are much better places for food especially at that cost in the Heart of Mayfair, but the jazz club vibes this place gives off are exceptional.

Another great experience at the Maine!

This beautiful venue is an escape from the grey world as you are welcomed in to enjoy a colourful 1920’s ambient venue. The customer journey is spot on 👌🏽 The team are well trained and knowledgeable and the food is spectacular! There’s also entertainment, if you haven’t already been to The Maine; you’re missing out. There’s lots of secrets to discover and different wine to taste 👅

This place was such a unique experience, and was made better by our amazing waiter Miguel! His hospitality was 10/10 and I can’t recommend him enough! The spicy shrimp linguine pasta I ordered was perfection. Honestly this was some of the best food I’ve had in a restaurant. It came very quickly as did all our orders. The live band and burlesque dancer made the atmosphere feel like something out of a movie. I would definitely go again

All round a fantastic experience. The food was exceptional bar the Spicy Rigatoni which the waiter kindly offered to remove from the bill. The service was unparalleled, they really catered for our every need and were incredibly professional. Highly recommend this gem in London!

O local é muito aconchegante e a equipe toda foi muito solicita e prestativa em diversos momentos. A comida é muito bem preparada e elaborada. Foi uma experiência incrível! Voltaremos sem dúvidas!

We went for Shuck Fest and Happy Hour on cocktails. The oysters were fresh and slightly salty - some were huge - very happy with the presentation and the quality (honestly £1 an oyster I was slightly worried. The only thing missing was the mignonette sauce - Tabasco and lemon was provided. Classic cocktails made well. I think it would have a great vibe if it were busy - we went at 5pm on a weekday and only one other table in there. Attentive staff, friendly. The washrooms are styled as a Turkish Hammam, or perhaps that was what was there before. Either way nice venue - would visit again.

Normal waiters are fine but service from one of the senior staff was absolutely disgusting. We received dirty looks from one of the head waiters when it got nearer to the end of our reservation. A polite reminder would have sufficed.

In the very heart of posh London, the Brasserie in the Maine restaurant travelled us in another era via its live music and overall ambience. Staff service was exquisite and the food excellent (special mention goes to the charred artichoke hearts). I would prefer it more intimate in room size and tables arrangement but I understand that in economic terms you need a critical mass of business to provide such an experience.

I went here for a Cousins Birthday, The Service was lovely the Waiters held a good chat and made us all feel very welcome. Top Service and Great Food :)

It's a bit pricey but definitely worth it. We sat in front of the piano and enjoyed a jazz session all night.

A stupid security guard who did not let us in despite the fact that we had documents with us. the girl who did not have documents went home. and he because she wanted to go through other documents. did not let us through, even though we had our documents. I think this is not normal behavior, despite the fact that we were talking normally and were not drunk.  and behaved normally.

Un lugar espectacular para cenar y ver el maravilloso espectáculo que ofrecen. A destacar el servicio, nos atendió Miguel que no puede ser más atento y encantador, en todo momento preocupado para que todo estuviera a nuestro gusto, muy de agradecer; si hablas español pregunta por él. El variado de marisco es de primera calidad, sobre todo destacar las ostras, de las mejores que hemos probado. El Rib Eye muy sabroso y perfectamente hecho al punto que pedimos. Os aconsejo que después de la cena os quedeis a ver el espectáculo tomando uno de sus cócteles.

We were given the best table in the house. Service was so attentive, dessert on the house everything was flawless and so appreciated! The portion sizes were much better than expected, and the entertainment was absolutely superb. We tried fish tacos, prawns in olive oil, truffle chicken, shrimp linguine, angry lobster pasta, sticky lamb chops, and dessert. The food had room for improvement especially the fish tacos which were quite bland, but it was insignificant when looking at the overall experience. The cookie dough was great though! Should definitely visit for a special occasion

Miguel, our waiter, was absolutely brilliant. Super friendly, good sense of humour, extremely attentive and just an overall pleasure to be served by. Put our dessert on the house as it was my wife’s birthday. Food tasted amazing and quantity was great.

I had an amazing family dinner last night. The staff were lovely and attentive. Not to mention the incredible food and entertainment- best tomahawk i’ve ever had! Special mention to Artur, he made our night that much better with his great service and good energy. It was a pleasure to have him as our waiter.

If you are looking for a blow out meal or somewhere for a special occasion then this is perfect. The brasserie has gorgeous interiors and is wonderfully grand. The service is good and so is the food. Don’t skip pudding the molten cookie is to die for!

my dears! We were in this “miracle” restaurant today... unfortunately, we were completely disappointed. The restaurant was booked 2 months in advance, and we were seated so you couldn’t see the stage, right at the cash register. The staff is not attentive at all. The ceviche was not tasty, the meat (the filet mignon was too dry, they ate medium re, the pasta with access was delicious, and of course the Oysters!!! mussels with a C out of 10 points. it’s insanely loud everywhere, I want to talk, not yell... I definitely won’t be back again

The quality of food was very good and the dishes are worth to try. The eggplant dish was really unique. However, one, out Hotel booked us a special table but the restaurant put us in a table that is not in a good location. Also, the waitress asked us to order 2 sides with the seabass that made us presume the 2 sides already come with the seabass. Later, we found out that its separate dishes and when we asked her she said I didnt say its for free!

Service déplorable, nous sert les cocktails, vin, plat en même temps et pas capable de retenir une commande ( tartare de thon au lieu de spaghettis, vin blanc au lieu de vin rouge). Terrasse pas chauffée pour toutes les tables (prévoyez de bons habits chauds). Nourriture mal présentée et servie en petite quantité. Malgré cela, l’ambiance du bar de l’intérieur reste sympathique pour un verre en fin de soirée.

My new favorite restaurant in London. The vibes are immaculate, the service is 10/10, food is outstanding, and the overall experience is so intimate. Everything we ate was incredible and be sure to save room for the baked cookie at the end! I will definitely be returning.

I went recently for a lunch the atmosphere was amazing, live music and the place is stunning. The service is good as the food, sadly I get food poison for me was tasting ok the food I order Tuna Tartar and Prawn Linguine soon after my stomach become crazy. I send one email to the restaurant because after 5 days im still felling un well, and didn't get any reply or apology.

I’m extremely disappointed and unimpressed with the experience at the restaurant. The check in experience was above and beyond weird and uncomfortable. The hostess’ are not well trained with any etiquette and very unfriendly. While I waited ages to check in another man in front of me waited ages for his coat, another one was so unhappy with her he was waiting for her manager. There was no level of confidence or kindness with any of the hostess. Once we got seated the entire requests and notes made in the reservation were completely ignored. I have a nut allergy and I’m pregnant and neither were noted by the wait staff for our dinner. We had just come in from a beautiful day of wedding dress shopping and wanted to really enjoy an evening at a new spot we were looking forward to trying and it was an epic fail. Once we were seated it took 25min for a wait staff to ask if we wanted water. We were a party of 4 and they gave us 2 drink menus and 1 food menu. When we asked for more menus there was an attitude. Then again, once we ordered I mentioned my nut allergy and they said no they “didn’t pay attention to that on the reservation - and that there’s nothing to note to chef because I didn’t order a dish with nuts”. Yes that’s a quote from the rudest waitress. The dinner was nothing to write home about. Because of the train strikes we had to leave just after dinner so we asked for the bill and needed to rush out. Only for us to find out that we had “credit” remaining from the restaurant after they took our money deposit to make the reservation and applied it to our bill and told us they owed us another £22. We had to rush out so we couldn’t use it on dessert or another drink so we asked to just have it reimbursed back to the card and they were SO rude in the way they said no and handled it. They claimed that the money from the deposit was a minimum about to spend. It was so unprofessional and poorly handled it honestly is so where I would go out of my way to tell friend and family not to go to.

The food was amazing and the service was exceptional we had “Teddy” he was the best waiter I’ve seen in London. Am vegan and it’s hard for me to find substitutes in Resturants but Teddy helped me alot he made changes and removed sauces that contains dairy so I can enjoy the meal. Honestly best service in London!!! Love this place thank you teddy

Amazing service from a gentleman named Arthur, a high level to detail, professional and willing to go the extra mile. I was not initially impressed with my meal and contemplated my return but based on the service received from this young man, I will indeed return and give it another go. absolutely beautiful place. we were sitting on the terrace so service wasnt the best however was an amazing experience and the food was incredible.

Went for a private dinner here. The space was beautiful. I’m not sure who decorated it but it was stunning! The staff were incredible and really caring when it came to allergies. Very wonderful place for a special occasion.

Nice experience, but overpriced. The burlesque “show” was just one short dance. The rest was a band that played. The rooms feel crowded.

Such a gem. We just got a table outside since we have been there with our kids in the evening. The food was brilliant. And the atmosphere even outside was great. We got a glimpse of the dining room downstairs. Wow. What a location. Definitely coming back without the kids to watch the show :-)

The Restaurant is good. They should add the truffle pizza again and add one more dish for Arab people. In general I like the shrimp linugini and the cookies with icecream.
