Pizza Express - West Wickham in Bromley

Been here a few times. Good but a little pricey. We use Tesco vouchers. Today it was very slow and we had 2 seven year old girls to feed. I blame brexit. Lack of staff.

A huge thank you to the wonderful team this evening. They could not have been more accommodating, from making me a new pizza because I was in the toilet with my young son who is potty training to presenting my dad with such a cute happy birthday slate and candle. We all had such a great meal, felt super comfortable and Victoria was a star! Thank you for having us

Went with family to celebrate a birthday, orders mixed up, food average and a bit tasteless, service mixed also, shame used to be good in here, hopefully will improve

Fuimos aquí para una celebración familiar de cumpleaños. La camarera fue genial y amable, pero la cocina estropeó nuestro pedido, y tuvimos que enviar parte de ella. Además, el postre de "chocolate derretido" salió como si hubiera estado en una licuadora, y tuvo que ser devuelto, su segundo intento fue solo marginalmente mejor, ciertamente no se parecía en nada a la foto en el menú de especiales. Cuando se trataba de pagar, utilicé mi tarjeta bancaria y recibí una alerta en mi aplicación de banca móvil de que el pago fue exitoso. El terminal dijo que la transacción falló. Me negaba a pagar nuevamente, ya que podía demostrar que el dinero había sido retirado de mi saldo. El gerente dijo que tomarían el dinero de la camarera si no pagáramos (lo que (a) es ilegal y (estaría) en contra de la política de Pizza Express, en base a una queja de seguimiento). Al final, y después de 15 minutos, tuve que pagar nuevamente, y luego impugné una de las transacciones con mi banco, quien inmediatamente reembolsó el dinero. Como tengo más de 20 años de experiencia en sistemas POS y pagos, di algunos comentarios 'rigurosos' al equipo de quejas de Pizza Express, explicando exactamente lo que deberían haber hecho.

Three of us visited and we each had a different meal, e.g. pizza, salad and pasta and all three were delicious, as was the merlot wine. Service was very good without being a nuisance. Highly recommended

I went with a party of six for lunch at the Orpington branch. I ordered a simple Fiorentino and was brought a solid egg in the middle. I requested that this be changed and waited 15 minutes for a replacement by which time most of my mail was consumed. I was told three times that the egg was on its way but it would appear this was not true. The alternative looking staff member allotted to our table was operating with an attitude somewhere between sullen and depressive. whenever he came to collect drinks or Plates he would lean across the faces of those seated at the table because he couldn’t be bothered to reposition himself and his arm with the two dancing skeletons tattooed on it would be with him biting distance of our faces. At the end of the mealThe serving staff member requested that whilst he stood at the end of the table we passed all our cutlery and crockery up the table to him some of which fell off the plates on to me.

Really nice Pizza express - the pizza's were really nice. We had the Funghi di Bosco and the American, both of which were very tasty. The staff we very friendly and the dough balls were good too! Pizza Express also have lots of deals so make sure to go to their website before you go!

Thank you so much to Pizza Express west Wickham, especially Paolo who made our sons sixth birthday really special. I highly reccomend the kids pizza making party, it was so much fun and really tasty pizzas too.

Come here once a month , it’s always lovely here staff , starters , pizza & dessert. Always mean to leave a review but never too late . Can recommend the Romana Barbacoa pizza , very tasty

I have never eaten at this branch before and was impressed. Friendly staff, quick service on a busy Friday evening. The menu has extended to include such things as hummus and flatbread for a starter. Pizzas were ever so slightly overcooked but still very tasty. Overall a very good meal.

Nothing to fault here, great staff and a decent spacious restaurant. Food inc starters all fresh and hot. Staff particularly good at offering dairy free options for a lactose intolerant diner. So all in all a great spot for a nice evening, will return!

As normal good quality food and friendly staff. We didn't have a reservation and turned up around midday. Seated straight away and served quickly. Food was hot and served quickly. i would and will visit again, especially while i can use my Tesco vouchers.

Visited on a whim for Monday night dinner with my mother and daughter (not my idea). The restaurant was approaching half full, clean, bright, tidy, not too noisy. We created and seated quickly by a friendly hostess and menu's provided and drink order taken quickly by our friendly and polite waitress. Drinks and food were delivered in good time and (blast opinion) was delicious. A few minor bugbears; - I asked for a children's menu for my daughter which did not arrive (not such a big deal as we all knew what the children's options were) - I asked for some Tabasco for my pizza which did not arrive (but did not pursue this as my pizza was spicy enough on its own) - the on table marketing thingy was covered in what assumed to garlic butter, but was removed with an apology by the friendly and polite waitress. All-in-all, a visit that met expectations and did not disappoint :) One point regarding the menu, my mother order chicken caesar salad which came with large curtains as expected but also a number of freshly baked bread sticked, which seemed overkill. We both thought either croutons or bread sticks would suffice as there was too much bread! Lesson learnt for the future.

The food was decent and the service was good during a busy time but what was noticeable was the creep up in price for food that is decent but hardly matching the inflated price. You wouldn't bother returning as you have excellent independent local Italian restaurants serving better food at better prices.

We arrived at 7:30 and didn’t leave till gone 9:30 due to the slow and poor service we received. It took 20 minutes to even get the attention of a waitress to order our drinks, let alone place our food. Our drinks arrived 15 mins after that. On a hot summer’s day, and being pregnant - I genuinely thought I was going to have to serve myself as I felt so dehydrated, and the restaurant didn’t seem to have the air con on! Food was fine, not the best I’ve had at pizza express but we weren’t unhappy. My friend did mention her pizza was too thin and over done though. We asked for the bill at 9.10 and didn’t leave the restaurant gone 9:40 due to how long it took the waitress. I haven’t been to this pizza express for a while and not sure I’ll be returning any time soon!

They coped very well with our party of 16. We were giving our son a friends and family send-off before his wedding the next day. The order was all correct and arrived piping hot and at the same time. Good selection of wine too.

Mi hija y yo hemos ido a este restaurante muchas veces durante los últimos 10 años y he tenido muchas experiencias placenteras.Sin embargo, parece que han sufrido tanto una renovación recientemente junto con lo que parece un cambio importante en el personal.Por desgracia, estos cambios no han sido para mejor. En particular, sus fracasos incluido el servicio es muy lento, las bebidas no están entregando como ordenados y, al final, la ausencia total de camareros en el suelo. De hecho, mi hija tuvo que pedir el chef por nuestra cuenta.No, no dejar una propina.Es una lástima, no volveremos. Hay muchos otros restaurantes en West Wickham a elegir.

My 6 year old went to a party here and had fun. Price of the party was reasonable and the children get to make their own pizza and play games

We used our tesco vouchers . i went with my husband and grand daughter. waiter was terrific although extremely busy at about 6.30pm food was terrific ate the lot, liked the idea of chefs cooking in the open kitchen to the public, and kitchen very clean. Although they were very busy they were extremely efficient and calm. Well done. I would definitely go there again x

He estado yendo a Pizza Express West Wickham desde que abrió sus puertas hace unos 13 años. Siempre me pareció que la comida es de muy buena calidad y es una buena sucursal local.

Pedí un Secondo Pollo y pancetta ensalada y estaba muy decepcionado cuando llegó a descubrir que había 4 pequeñas piezas de pollo en toda la ensalada. Cuando hablé con el gerente me dijo que es normal y por eso se le llama un Secondo Pollo y ensalada de pancetta ya que tiene tanto de ellos y no sólo pollo!! Yo le dije que por £11,50 que esperaba más pollo y continuó a discutir en mucho tiempo por ser «incapaz de cambiar la receta', la cantidad de pollo que 'sana' y finalmente porción control!!! Nunca he oído nada como ridículo en toda mi vida. Finalmente decidió que era más fácil conseguir mi pollo adicional que debería haber hecho en el 1° lugar. Muy mal servicio al cliente. New Romanza pizzas son más caros, ya que claramente gastar dinero se extiende a ellos, pero por desgracia no gastar dinero en cualquier coberturas adicionales. Bill era demasiado caro, teniendo en cuenta lo que habíamos comido y no había alcohol y no pensaré volver pronto. ¡Gracias a Dios por 25% descuento vale que hizo que fuera una experiencia dolorosa algo menos.

We had the Christmas menu, which provided pretty good value. Unfortunately, rather than offering their standard pizzas, the special menu featured special Christmas pizzas, which weren't particularly good choices. One thing that didn't impress us was the number of menu items that they had run out of, though the staff did their best to make up for it. The restaurant has recently been renovated and now has a fake bare brick wall, which looks like it's trying a bit too hard to be trendy.

Visited with a friend. The food was poor to average, there was a problem with the bill and it took a call from the table to head office to try to sort out. I will not be back.

Fuimos en un grupo familiar de 6. Habíamos reservado - que era bueno ya que el lugar estaba lleno cuando llegamos allí a las 7:30 un viernes por la noche.

Fui con un amigo. pizza estaba bien. Lamentablemente después de haber terminado nuestra cena sin personal vino cerca de nosotros durante más de una hora, no nos ofrecieron el menú o café dulce. al final pedimos la factura nos explicó que no había personal había sido cerca de nosotros y nos dijeron que lo sentían y se ofreció a dar un dulce pero era demasiado tarde tuvimos que ir. fue decepcionante.

This is a classic pizza express establishment. It has all the normal things that you would expect that you get in all the others. Went there for family birthday. Kids happy. Overall pretty good.

Habiendo tenido buenas experiencias en este restaurante en muchas ocasiones me han decepcionado dos domingos por la noche. Aunque la calidad de la comida ha sido bueno ha apareces mesas que han hecho del lugar y te sientes como un pobre cantina del personal. El servicio ha sido tan lento que los clientes en otra mesa han comentado que llevar ha sido más rápido incluso cuando han sido ocupados.

Como toda Pizza Express es un buen lugar para llevar a los niños para una comida.

Todo Pizza Expresa son geniales para los niños, y el de West Wickham no es una excepción.

Un restaurante bastante agradable, aunque no es el lugar más atractivo para sentarse y comer con poco interés en las paredes o en el restaurante en general. La comida, como con todos los restaurantes Pizza Express es bueno y sus ofertas son generalmente bueno y ahorrar unas libras.

Cuando se visita un restaurante como Pizza Express, que no esperes mucho. todo bastante genérico y la calidad de la comida es generalmente bueno, aunque un poco estimado lado últimamente! Olivia nos ha servido en varias ocasiones y ha sido una delicia cada vez. Ella ciertamente conjuntos esta sucursal del resto con ella cálida personalidad, profesional y foráneos sonrisa. Recomiendo agarrando una pizza allí en cualquier momento si todo el mundo era amable.
