The food here is really fantastic and it’s in a great location. Not happy with the service from one waiter, we had drinks,starters and pizzas. We did have a few different offers and vouchers 2-4-1 that I had been given from previous visits to other pizza express and some others on our phones. The attitude to all these was not well received we were told we could not split the bills into 2x2 as there was 4 of us. Then we got told that some of our starters were not included in the offers and told we should have read the terms and conditions!!! yes agree that some of the Vouchers were when we got TOLD were out of date!! But the way we were told this was insensitive and rather off handish as he just kept saying the manager would not allow these. We did use a more up to date phone voucher but it was not a pleasant experience at all being talked to in such a off hand way.

Never fancied Pizza Express but gave it a try. Glad we did. The food was lovely. I had lasagne with a lovely cake dessert along with an orange gin. Hubby had calzone, peroni and Irish coffee. The staff were friendly and attentive

Pizza Express do a great deal for o2 customers - you get the code on the o2 priority app. 2 mains for £10 - excellent value. Carbonara pizzas were beautiful. Service was a little slow though.

The weather was poor so we did not want to venture far. We popped in and were given a choice of seating. The staff were very pleasant and were happy to explain option to us. Food was very nice and freshly prepared 👍

Tried the new crab arancini and loved it whilst my partner had the free dough balls (present for a previous review - there is always a deal to be had here). He had his usual hot pizza which is too hot for me but I loved my chicken pasta dish. I would happily come back and have the same again. Always good service and good food.

My Fiancee and I came on holiday to Edinburgh and today (Sunday 24th) decided to go to the Pizza Express in Leith. We headed out at 22.00 knowing it didn't close till 22.30 so plenty of time to grab a couple of takeaway pizzas before they closed. How wrong we were!! Staying 5 minutes away from the pizza Express we found it had already been closed and seeing someone turn off the final light in the building. We are perplexed as to why a chain restaurant closes so early even though its stated on Google and Pizza Express's own website that they close at 22.30. I have the mind to call your HR and speak to your area manager why you closed early,you have lost revenue today and I'm pretty sure your Area manager will not be pleased as to you closing early than stated

Entré para un regalo de la noche del martes. Este restaurante era cálido acogedor y muy bien decorado. El servicio fue realmente bueno con un servidor muy paciente que nos ayudó a evaluar lo que podríamos tener con un cupón de 2 cursos. Mis bolas de gluten sin gluten y pollo sin gluten adastra pizza eran deliciosos.

Never have many complaints with pizza express. Excellent food service and ambiance. Nice spot with pubs nearby.

OK, so it's part of a BIG chain. But the food is pretty good, the staff always seem friendly and helpful and (as long as you have a voucher code!) the food is reasonably priced.

Pizza Chef suavizó mi pizza así que no era demasiado picante, lo cual funcionó. Ambos disfrutamos nuestra comida. Utilizamos un código de descuento, por lo que estábamos satisfechos con lo que pagamos por lo que obtuvimos.

Un amigo y yo fuimos a la hora del almuerzo en un día laborable y nos sorprendió lo tranquilo que estaba, ya que solo ocupaban tres mesas.

Mi pareja y yo queríamos tener un poco de prosecco y postre a las 5 de la tarde, tuvimos la suerte de encontrar una mesa fuera, después de esperar unos 15 minutos, el camarero, que era muy amable, vino a nosotros para tomar la orden, cuando pedimos proceco y postres, el mesero tuvo que pedir al gerente sobre nuestra orden. Por desgracia, el director dijo que no se les permite servir alcohol sin orden principal por supuesto, política de la empresa. Esta es la última vez que jamás volvería a pizza express. P. s. La mesa de al lado estaba 2 señoras alrededor de 50 s con botella de vino y nada más y vi ordenando, nunca pedir el plato principal.

Overpriced,, lukewarm pizza. £14.00 for a plate of thin dough, tomatoes and cheese. Everywhere else was packed out except this restaurant. Know I know why.

Came here with my sister and we had two dogs with us I popped in and asked if it was ok to sit outside and eat with our two dogs and you told us it was absolutely fine. So we sat down and began to settle the dogs there was a table about to leave in the back corner of the outside seating which I decided would be best to move to so that the dogs wouldn’t be in the way of the waiters or potential customers. We moved seats ordered our drinks and food when the food came the man serving us became very unpleasant and made us feel very uncomfortable about serving us he said “ladies you are becoming very difficult to serve due to your dogs” we replied “it’s alright don’t worry about it we can move them around when your here” he then said “no it’s not ok actually” and just walked away the space for outside isn’t massive so it was tight but what was the point in saying having two dogs is ok when in actual fact the male waiter did not seem to be ok with it. Now the food was fantastic so tell the chefs that the only good part of that meal was the great tasting food. after that comment the waiter did not come out to see us any more and I had to go in to pay our bill. My sister is a GM of a restaurant and I also work in hospitality and I was actually so shocked at the waiters attitude towards us as before when we sat down waiting to give the food and drinks order he had spent around 5/10 minutes flirting with another table of ladies getting their bill as we sat patiently waiting so his cheery mood was clearly only for a specific set of customers. As the food was great I will be going back to a pizza express certainly not the one on the shore the whole experience was disheartening and ruined our moods for the rest of the day.

Yo fui a visitar este lugar regularmente con los compañeros de trabajo cuando tenían ofertas de almuerzo en. Siempre fue bastante agitada. Las ofertas luego paraba y frecuentábamos la gran variedad de restaurantes en la zona que me relación calidad-precio a la hora del almuerzo. Estábamos en la zona de ayer y mi pareja insistió en comer allí. Ella ahora admite que fue un error. Mientras que la comida es lo que esperas los precios no estaban. £11. 75 Para lasaña y 10 libras. 75 para una media pizza? Vino a £16. 75 una botella? Regularmente comer en el centro de la ciudad en unos restaurantes (en Hanover Street) donde puedes disfrutar de una excelente comida de 3 x 8 libras para. 00 y una botella de vino por menos de £9. 00. No hace falta decir que a la hora de almuerzo me contó sólo viernes 9 personas en el lugar y que, por consiguiente, no hay ambiente. No volveremos.

No puedes equivocarte con Pizza Express. Fuimos para una cena rápida, habiendo descargado los 2 campos por 9. 95 vale. La ensalada de tomate y mozzarella para empezar era encantador, así como la pizza de padang. Los recomendaría. El servicio era amable y eficiente.

Fuimos allí en Nochebuena y aunque estaba bastante lleno nos las arreglamos para conseguir mesa en la ventana. De principio a fin nuestro camarero era muy servicial y amable. La pizza que pedimos era como nos gusta base muy finas y crujientes no la masa bastante pesado y el topping gruesas era excelente. En general una buena relación calidad-precio.

Had 241 voucher and was a good value for money. Service a bit slow and the booths dirty and broken. Same were the tables. Shame as the pizza is gorgeous

Pizza express has a lot of competion at the Shore but the location and cheap/ear;y evening deals attract families, tourists and those looking for a deal - us! Good early evening deal with starter and pizza/pasta. Good service though be prepared early evening for lots of nosiy kids. Sorry.....

I went there for lunch with some friends, the food was hot and tasted great , the staff were very nice and made us feel welcome. Would go back.

Although a chain, Pizza Express always provides great, fresh pizzas with a variety of interesting combinations of flavours. The one at the Shore is a particular favourite as it's always bustling and the staff are very attentive and courteous.

When you go to a Pizza Express you have a pretty good idea what you are going to get. I have eaten in a good number over the years and would say that this is one of the most enjoyable.

Not a place I've been too decided to go as my wee boy is 18 months and I knew it was a family place. We went on a Saturday at 330 and there was only one other table in. The waiter was really friendly and I was impressed with the service. We had a voucher starter and pizza 9.95 hubby had doughballs to start I had garlic bread with cheese and pepperoni pizza all were lovely. The kids menu was good and my son loved the crayons. Definitely go back as a family. The only thing that made me rate it 4 stars were the drinks were dear 6.95 for a bottle of Peroni

Fuimos a este restaurante para cenar recientemente y para ser sincero, no tienen grandes expectativas. Sin embargo, no podría haber sido más gratamente. La ubicación, el servicio, la comida y el ambiente eran excelentes. Fue también una excelente relación calidad-precio.

Always consistently good food and service - we've also eaten at the Stockbridge branch. Particularly good thin crust pizza selection as well as very tasty salads. Recommended.

My wife loves Pizza Express. She can't wait for special offers. Me? Meh. It's food. She had a veggy pizza, I had seafood pasta. Both good, IMO, rather than outstanding. Not that I expect michelin star quality from a chain pizza joint :-)A few olives to start, and coffees afterwards. A red wine and a beer.The place wasn't that busy and the food came to the table very quickly. Awarded 4 partly for that reason.Recent turnover of staff. Therefore probably not recognised my wife as a regular. But staff pallsy and helpful. My wife hates them calling us 'guys'. She's used to better: good evening sir, good evening madam. She's a right madam. Capisce?

Nice location on the Shore. Served by a very nice, polite friendly waiter from Brazil. The Caprese pizza was good if you like spicy ( very spicy). The Superfood salad was delicious as was the Calamari. Have been to a few Pizza Expresses over the years, some good, some not so good and this one was a pretty good one!

Service very attentive, food usual Pizza Express high standard, wine choices good. Nice views from window seats and a buzzy location - worth a visit. Have to say that the prices seem to have escalated significantly in recent months although there are regular offers online, which you really need to enjoy an affordable pizza!

Walked in here today at lunch with 7 guys from work, no booking, got sat straight down, ordered food and drink, was all out within 15 minutes, very good service, food was great, would definitely come back, thanks guys

We regularly come here for an early evening meal after my day at Scotfairs in Meadowbank. As per usual we were greeted with a smile and shown to what has become our usual table. The pizzas were as usual excellent and the drinks very refreshing. Well done Pizza Express!Keep up the good work....Jeannie

The gentleman that served us was excellent. Italian I think, patient with us as we took a bit to decide and very happy and chatty. Well done! This is our second time here and we will be back. Good service makes a difference

We had lunch at Pizza Express at Ocean Terminal after visited The Royal Yacht Britannia, Edinburgh. We ordered a Pepperoni Romana Style pizza which is thinner and bigger than a classic style pizza to share among 2 adults. As we were sharing the pizza, the waitress served us in 2 plates with 2 slices each which has been sliced up for us. We were very impressed. Requested for Parmesan cheese and came in a saucer. We were given a generous amount of the cheese and because my son loves Parmesan, we finished the whole lot. Pizza is very good as well as the service.

We came for an early evening dinner when there were only a couple of other couples in, and everything started well. Drinks came quickly and starter also reasonably quick. However, the mains took a little longer to come, and this was where the food went downhill a touch. My pizza was perfectly nice, nothing special, but my partner's posh mac and cheese wasn't particularly tasty. It then took a very long time for the plates to be cleared and for dessert to come.My partner's chocolate cake took a solid 20 minutes to arrive in a restaurant that was less than half full, as the waiters both served around the couple of small groups who had turned up in the mean time. They weren't run off their feet by any stretch, and so we waited - this was despite catching the waiters' eyes a couple of times first. When it came, the bottom was really quite burnt, but given how long it had taken we didn't bother complaining.The bill came, and it turns out my partner's request to have a starter had been misunderstood and we'd been charged double the amount for the starter, seemingly to make it into a main. This seemed cheeky to say the least, but even if it had been a misunderstanding, the portion size certainly didn't justify nearly £12 for cheese pasta. The idea with Pizza Express is that you know what you're getting, but this was disappointing to say the least. Service nothing special, and the bill was quite a shock when it came. Maybe an off day, but certainly not to the standard experienced at other branches.

Nice cafe by the waters - was such a relief finding this place as all other places along the walkway were closed at 4 in the evening. Service was laidback but friendly. Hot chocolate and profiteroles were extremely refreshing on a cold evening.

It is a Pizza Express - I assume you know what you are going to get. It does not disappoint. In fact this is my favourite Pizza Express in Edinburgh. Nice location by the river and good for eating outside in summer. This is a very good example of the chain.

I've come here with friends quite often. Nice food, nice staff and good selection of drinks. It's not an amazing place, it's nice but just a typical pizza express.

So the food here is always good but the service leaves a lot to be desired. Arrived tonight to order some take away food.... waited 20mins then the waiter came over ( was only one third full)..... when asked if I was ok and replied I was not impressed with the service the waiter said;"Well why don't you leave then, no one asked you to stay"....... I have lived in Leith for 3 years and whilst this is the worst experience I ever had here, it's typical of the poor service you can expect here! My advice........ plenty of other great places in Leith to go........ I won't be back!!!

Fort Kinnaird, EdinburghWent for dinner with husband & 8 year old son. Waitress got order wrong, didn't even apologise. She was very rude. I asked pizza with hottest peppers but they put them all on my husbands pizza so mine was tasteless & his was too hot. When we complained they just didn't care. We won't be back ever again.

My partner and I have been to many pizza express joints around the country and we have never been disappointed. I had a salad here for a change which was bigger than I expected! But it was mouthwatering. It is a bit deceptive as the place is bigger than it looks too, and we would highly recommend it if people are off for a nice meal out.

Not been here in a very long time, went last week and couldn't fault it, doughballs and pizza both lovely, friendly staff. Will return soon.

Pizza Express fab as always....however the staff make this particular one extra special.The pizza are the usual high standard.Service excellent & nothing too much trouble.Our lids simply adored Carmen our waitress.....she was fantastic and an example of a great waitress!

I know these pizza's come over £10 a pop, however, if you like rocket, goats cheese, contemporary pizzas like this then this is heaven. Stockbrige Pizza Express is often full of kids, just saying.

It's an average to good pizza parlour. Cheap and cheerful and ideal if you just want a quick and filling bite to eat.

Great service, staff are friendly and quick to serve but give you time and space to decide what to order. We ordered two pizzas one under 500 calories and a red chilli pollo pizza. Both very tasty and washed down with a nice glass of wine. We also had a 241 voucher which they are giving away during August. However reasonable prices regardless. Pop along if your in the area. If it's a nice day you can sit outside and enjoy the views.

I have to start by saying that the service we received here was fantastic. All the staff members were attentive to our needs. Food was great value and delicious. This was my husbands first visit to a pizza express and he was pleasantly surprised. Would definitely visit again.

Per essere una pizzeria pseudo-italiana in terra straniera devo ammettere che la pizza e' buona. Non e' quella con il bordo alto, ma e' croccante e sottile, saporita e non troppo pasticciata. Si puo' scegliere tra la versione "romana" e in questo caso vi serviranno una pizza sottile larga e croccante oppure quella normale, piu' alta e piccola piu' simile ad una pizza al taglio come sapore anche se tonda. La contaminazione britannica si avverte nella presenza di aglio e condimenti non proprio tradizionali come fette di peperoncino jalapeno nella pizza margherita con bufala, ma si puo' chiedere di toglierlo e magari inserire altri ingredienti a piacimento.I dolci sono ottimi e si possono richiedere in porzione standard oppure mignon, in questo caso vengono proposti in minidose accompagnato da una tazzina di caffe' espresso.Ai bambini danno colori e un libretto con giochi divertenti .La spesa e' nella media.

We visited on a bank holiday and even though it was busy they managed to shift a few tables to accommodate our large party of 8. We were served quickly and the staff were very friendly. The pizza and dough balls were all great, although they were completely out of caramelised onions which we love, nice and hot and well cooked - what I expect of a pizza express. Restaurant was nice and clean, as were toilets. Would happily visit again!

Was making a quick visit to leith & thought we'd pop in for a quick tea. Wasn't disappointed, both had our usual & as ever it was very tasty. Table beside the window just topped off our visit nicely, good location with a nice waterside view. Staff were nice & attentive. Good experience all round.

Food is excellent - as always, but disappointed to note that there are no 'lunch time offers' now. We were in for a quick - cheap - business lunch. We ended up paying £27+ for a couple of main course and 2 x small soft drinks. Given ALL the other options (and there are many) to eat in the area, it is doubtful we will return. Certainly, at lunch time.

We always enjoy eating in pizza express as the children know their way around the menu and we use our tesco vouchers making it a real bargain. The staff were very friendly and all our meals were well prepared and as good as we expected.

We came here as a last minute decision to have a family dinner.On arrival staff were very friendly and showed us to our table, right by the window so me little girl could watch the snow! They provided colouring books and crayons for the little one and put her first at all times.Our service was fab and food order very quick and delicious - will definitely be back.

Had one of those Nectar vouchers for Pizza Express. Well impressed with one waiter who was called Isaac. Believe he was Spanish. I went by myself and he was a great waiter. Offered me a seat where I preferred and was friendly, conscientious and attentive. When I walked through the door he said "Table for four"? "Er, no. Just me " I replied.Would go back as the service was top notch and as I was on my own he went about to make sure I was ok. Food came quick and were a good size portion. Normally I d remember how good the food was but on this occasion I remember how good the waiter and the service was.Keep up the good work!

When you are in an area so stuffed with fabulous places to eat and drink it felt disappointing to end up in a chain. But it was New Year's Day at 9 and there wasn't too much immediate choice. The welcome was - "the kitchen is closing in 15 minutes" from a flabby man who was never seen again. The waiter who was doing everyone's job was friendly and efficient and we got the reliably tasty fare. It's got a good location - as they do.

As deceiving as the title is its actually a pretty decent pizza express. Would have given it 4 stars anyway without prompt. If you want a place you can just rely on for a good pizza served quickly with some top waiters then you're sorted. Yea there's other places in leith that might appeal more than a chain pizza place but couldn't fault it. Even the prosecco in the meal deal thingy was good (fully expected cheap house crap) (no offence mr express)

Wir waren letzten Donnerstag in diesem Restaurant. Ich habe 12 Pfund für eine Pizza bezahlt die leider nicht geschmeckt hat und sehr dünn war. Ein Mann der Bedienung war extrem unfreundlich. Er hatte keine Schürze an vielleicht was dann jemand wen ich meine. Die anderen waren sehr nett!!Ich würde nicht wieder hingehen und dieses Restaurant keinem empfehlen!!!

The kids wife & myself had a very enjoyable meal here on Saturday. Staff were friendly helpful, the food was served fast. I had a rectangle pizza which was outstanding. Wife enjoyed her pizza. And kids all loved there choices

We were a table of 7 in a quiet restaurant. Server was cheery but food was very mediocre. Overdone pizzas, tiny main portion of risotto & a salad main that wasn't as good as it should be. Drink order was missed & manager on duty looked very untidy & didn't engage at all. Real bugbear was finding out that the tip that was left in addition to the bill total was unnecessary as 15% had already been charged!! A very expensive mistake. Sad that the server didn't say that service had already been charged, instead he pocketed £40!!!!! Would never ever return.

I visited here on Monday this week with my wife, it was a last minute decision and thankfully it been a Monday night they weren't busy and we got a table.I didn't find it any different to any other pizza express, food was excellent and the service from the guy looking after us was great. no complaints about anything.Speed of starters after we ordered was about 5 minutes and following that about 10 minutes for the Pizza.

Went to get the kids some pizza but was served by a not so friendly person who just dumped the food. Manager was apologetic.

Une (très) bonne pizza pour monsieur, une salade (pour moi) à base de roquette, épinards, fromage, aubergines et poivrons cuits, assaisonnée au vinaigre balsamique caramélisé chaud : un délice accompagné de parts de pain chaudes elles aussi (pâte à pizza).Prix un peu élevés tout de même.

We intended to eat at Frankie and Bennies next door but the service had been so awful that we left and went to Pizza Express instead. A host greeted us immediately, led us to a table and took our drink orders. We ordered a pizza each and they were on the table in ten minutes. They are enormous pizzas, amazing value for money! It was relatively busy but a lovely atmosphere inside. Thanks Pizza Express.

This was my first time at this pizza express and I liked the location.The service was a bit slow to be honest, but the food was good + we all thorougly enjoyed our lunch.

Called in for a Pizza on a Sunday afternoon. The restaurant wasnt particularly busy, and by the time we had finished eating it was empty. My wife chose the Romana Padana, which is a goats cheese mozzarella, tomato caramilised onions, spinach red onion, and garlic oil on a very thin crusty base and I chose the Il Padrino on the same base which is chicken, roasted vegetables, pesto, roasted tomatoes, and mozzarella.Both were delicious, and well prepared, and the cost with a soft drink for me, and a bottled peroni for my wife came to £18.55 which allowed for £11.65 being taken off for a promotion. The only critisism about the place, is the fact that it is in need of an update, and not a place you could enjoy a romantic meal in as it is very cafe-ish.Also we were offered a table when we arrived that had been wiped very badly, if at all, which is not good.

We normally enjoy Pizza Express but overall this was a let down. Service was slow to non existent It took ages to get a drink , the meal came at an OK speed and to be fair was tasty and reasonable value.We were going to have a sweet but no body bothered asking. We asked for the bill which took forever It goes without saying we left no tip and will not be back.

Lovely food here - much better quality than other chain pizza restaurants. Fresh doughballs for a starter are to die for and their pizza are delicious and fresh.

Didn't realize this was a chain but it really should not matter. Order a pizza and it came really quickly, suss. It was luke warm badly assembled and extremely overpriced for what it was. Both of us are in hospitality and know when food has been sitting on the pass for awhile. We got that pizza. Not a fan.

There with family and friends. Two young children and we were made to feel most welcome. From chef to waitress every member of staff engaged with my three year old. And that makes life a whole lot easier. (pizza good too!!)

We normally go to pizza express as its a known entity, we have young kids and they can be a bit picky so we know this chain if a safe bet.Sadly the thing that let the chain down on this visit was not the surroundings or the food it was the staff. It was a busy Saturday night after a Rugby match in Edinburgh so the place was full but there seemed to be no organisation with the staff. The was by my reckoning 5 staff in total serving on the floor (and its not that big) but not a lot of organisation with staff asking each other how to ring stuff through the till, moaning how a table was staying longer than it should and how they were going to fit in bookings, generally being headless chickens. They are normally better than this at their other restaurants.

I love pizza and I love Pizza Express. I've been going to the ones in town in Edinburgh and London over the last few years but the pizza at this one, on a Friday night anyway, is awesome!Well done Friday chef!

Staff were friendly great bruschetta followed by a lovely salad and spicy pizza. Also really nice location next to the river.

always get a good pizza in pizza express/ some pretty good offers too. one of my favourite dishes is served as a main dish. Parmeganne melazanie I recommend it

During a recent illness when I couldn't eat at all I was desperate for a visit here (might be something to do with their full-on marketing approach of frequent emails!) so it was my first proper meal in ages. Did NOT disappoint. The staff are always friendly, there are always several options I fancy and you know what it costs. What's not to love. They have made the romana pizzas even thinner and crispier (and bigger but OH still managed to finish his). I have the prawn and salmon one and OH some hot one (might be Etna). I like that they have lighter options too and I have had the legera pizzas several times just not this time. Lovely as ever and no doubt we'll be back soon.

We visited in the evening, the shops were closed so it was quiet, the staff were lovely & friendly, would recommend to family & friends . . . ;-)

I have been to this pizza express a few times with my kids. Generally the service is very good and the food is to a good level. The staff are pretty relaxed, not great if you are in a rush but all good if you want a relaxing meal.

As always the food here was great and service friendly and efficient. My Mum and Dad were visiting so the waiter gave them some information about the dishes and also the beer/ciders on offer.Both Dad and I asked to change things on our pizzas which was no problem at all. Our staters and mains were all lovely and we just managed to squeeze in the mini puddings that come with coffee :o). Nice setting too as it is right by the water.

Had a great meal there with my 2 daughters recently. The staff were friendly and helpful and the food was really great!! I will be back :)

I've been going to Pizza Express since my student days and that is over 40 years ago when they only had a couple of sites in London. Although it's no longer an independent chain the standard has been maintained pretty well.What is there to say? The pizzas are good and the wine list is ok. The service here was good with a friendly waitress. Maybe it's a bit expensive for what it is but it's not outrageous.I still think it's the best pizza chain. Don't go out of your way to eat here but if you are in the area you could do much worse.

Friendly atmosphere and staff, my wife and son tell me the doughballs are to die for. Wide selection of pizza and selection of other dishes. Liked not being rushed to eat up even although place was busy.Disabled access is very good although parking could be a bit of a problemat times

went here with a friend . We both had pizza, wine and a dessert and the bill came to around £50. really??? The wine was just ok and the pizza tasted like a frozen one from Tesco so was again just ok. I would not blow 50 on a pizza there again!

Went here last Friday bit hit and miss1) Very noisy with lots of screaming children2) Didn't seem to be enough staff to cope with customers3) Meat pizza brought for my vegetarian wifeHowever:Manager did take the incorrect pizza off the bill (and then got a shock when I insisted that I paid the bill in full once we had the correct food)Manager tried his best with service but seemed to be so short staffedFood was ok

Tuesday afternoon and, having been 'un'welcomed by a Manager at the Ocean Terminal site smelling unsavoury and asking us to come back later (when at least a dozen free tables) and no real reason why we decided to try Leith again, AND WERE PLEASED WE DID!There was only 2 staff on, 1 happy chef (who delivered the food to the table with a great smile) and second guy who ran himself ragged keeping us, and all others happy.Really enjoyed this experience, having ate at dozens of these restaurants, everything was clean, quality and well done. Thanks.

I took my two kids and were seated quite quickly.Then they forgot about us, waited 10-15 minutes for our starters then about an hour for our mains. No updates or sorrys provided or offered.Then we got overcharged as the voucher which has been told about was not included in the final bill.Given how good the ocean terminal and stockbrige versions of these places are it confuses me why this is so bad.Anyway to top if all off i filled in a contact us form online and asked them to call me to discuss. No call received after a week so here is my version of events only.Avoid

We'll their a first time for everyone and that for me the staff were of top quality and the cope well with full house we did not booked our table and where accommodate no bother worth a visit.
