Poor quality pizzas. We had to scrape the sauce off the base it was so thick. Been to several pizza expresses and they are usually good quality however not this one. Provided feedback with no response

My daughter is currently on a school trip in London and has just been to this Pizza Express for dinner. I am absolutely disgusted that non of the children were allowed any sauce with their pizza. The staff were rude and ignored the children as well as the teachers. When my daughter messaged me this, I did think maybe they were busy but still no need to ignore and refuse sauce to anyone. Did you refuse your other guests? I guess not!! Then I get another message an hour later saying she was still waiting for her desert, which was a sorbet! An hour, again with not one of your staff acknowledging the children or teachers! In the end my daughter left without pudding because of your incompetent staff not willing to help!! We visit London often and love a Pizza Express but I can assure you I will never visit this one!!

WORST MEAL EVER!!! Me and my friends ordered pizzas, all of them coming out at different times. Rudest manager ever! Had a mard about us ordering drinks and refused us sauces for the pizza? Completely unacceptable! Even after this we all ordered dessert, the cake came out without ice cream. This ice cream for the cake then came out separately 10 minutes later. After over another hour the other desserts hadn’t arrived. The other desserts were only ice cream alone and sorbet, is it that difficult? Would never return or recommend to anyone I like.

Unfriendly, massively over priced and poor. Admitted that their food is made in a factory. Reluctant to hear a complaint. No idea how this place still trades.

Waited ages to order food and then there was a big difference in how it was delivered. The kids pasta was over cooked and had obviously been under a hot plate for too long. My pizza was cold and when I sent it back, the same pizza was re delivered as it had the bit i’d cut still cut out. Considering it had chicken on, not great to re-heat over again! We refused the service charge as service was definitely not worth £30!

Lovely atmosphere and great views: ideal for a celebration... we thought. Half an hour after we ordered, we were told the food would be 5 more mins. Another 20 mins later and still no food. We had places we needed to be, so we cut our losses and walked out. We ended up grabbing a sandwich elsewhere. We wouldn't have minded so much if the staff had been up-front about the delay, but they clearly didn't really care about service. We won't be going back.

Worst Saturday evening spent in the heart of the city. No atmosphere. No welcome. No interest in you as the customer. Brought the main course and the starter together. Staff all looked like they didn’t care. Ordered pizzas without mushrooms, however it all loaded with mushrooms, undercooked and soggy pizza base, extremely oily Polento chips. To top it up, ordered brownie and icecream dessert to cheer up the mood and guess what, the brownie was dry, hard, cold and burnt. Staff didn’t even bother to take it off the bill or replace it. All they cared was closing off the restaurant and leave. With so many more better restaurants around, we chose to go with one which we love and ended up spoiling the evening. Never going back to this place ever again !!

Booked a table for 6.30 pm for my Fiance’s birthday. When seated we were told there was a little wait for food. Ordered starters and mains/ drinks. We waited an hour for our food only for them to forget out starter and bring the main straight over. I told them that we haven’t even recieved our starters yet. They took away our mains and brought over the starter after another 15 minutes wait. They then brought out mains back out and it was stone cold and the pizza was rock hard. We had been waiting so long we didn’t even bother to complain as none of the servers even came near our table until we called someone over to pay. Very very disappointed.

Super slick service, doughballs, squid and 2 Romana's one American hot,the other a fishy one, both very good with a Sicilian Merlot (i think)

Received a voucher which was the trigger to come here. First visit and it was good. Roland suggested upstairs with view of Thames. Friendly , efficient staff. Excellent menu. 2 calamari starters, bocce salad with added chicken, Cannelloni. A child menu as well. All good size, well cooked and good sized. A few glasses of wine. A great choice, £84. Definitely on list of restaurants to consider going forward.

Nice location with water view table draws you in. We ordered 1 red cabbage salad which was less than half a cub. Ordered mixed salad which was very small, about half a cup. Ordered vegetarian pizza which was the worst tasting an soggy crust, even after sending it back 3 times for more baking. Service person was fine and tried her best. Go somewhere else .

Incredibly accommodating! We came here by mistake with 50 pupils, the company that arranged this gave us the wrong address. This Pizza Express took on 50 students and 6 teachers. The staff were fantastic and attentive, the food came out very quickly.

Ordered food at 16:50 takeaway , to pick up at 17:10 , had to wait until 17:35. Not once did anybody even tell me how long it would be or apologise or even talk to me. I ordered a gf pizza, doughballs and a drink. The base is premade so why does it take 45 mins?? The food was disappointing, very salty pizza and the crusts were too burnt to eat, very little cheese and a random tomato and pepper thrown on there for no reason?

We popped into this Pizza Express for a pre-theatre supper. The views are lovely and the food fine but the service was terrible. There were plenty of staff and they weren't very busy but it still took a long time to order. When it came to ordering puddings I had to go in search of a staff member. One waiter I asked send they couldn't take the order. The manager seemed to be rushing around but achieving very little. Certainly won't rush back.

Ausgezeichnete Pizzen mit sehr dünnem Boden. Perfekter Lunch. Schon lange keine so feine Pizza mehr gegessen. Freundliches Personal.

There was a group of about 20 of us went here for dinner on Saturday evening. We were shown to our table straight away on arriving and the service was good from the start. We had 2 vegans and 1 gluten free in our party and there was sufficient options for everyone. Food was really nice and no complaints about anything really, location is fab too!

Lovely view, however food luke warm and some of it cold. Some of the pasta dishes are tasteless and uninspiring for the price.

Pizza was absurdly thin, cold and expensive for what was served. Kids pizza was literally a few centimetrs wide. Not recommended.

Went here as was close by to us but the service was TERRIBLE. The waiter (short male, bald) was the rudest waiter we have ever come across. Usually love Pizza express and the staff, but this man was the opposite of what you would expect at a restaurant. He preferred arguing than actually listening, and was constantly talking over us when we asked questions. Asked for help with an order but he just kept on arguing and shouting, was not pleasant and made everyone feel scared and very unwelcome. Will be telling all our colleagues not to go here and experience such an unwelcoming staff member.

For a Saturday at 1pm, the staff were really attentive. The food was out so quick and warm!! The staff couldn’t have been anymore helpful during the meal and the food was excellent. However!! When it came time to pay, the lovely waitress took payment and that’s when it got weird. After paying she reminded us there was no service charge and just stood there, we gave her some cash as a tip which was apparently not enough. She just stood there and turned funny barely muttering a word of thanks and just walked off. We were always going to tip, but to be put on the spot like the concierge in Home Alone 2, it was awkward. I don’t know what we did to upset her, but as I walked out I heard her say to a colleague ‘I’m so pi***d off’. Not quite sure what else we could have done considering the tip wasn’t a bad one. It may not have been us she was upset with but it was a very strange end to a great time and meal. The atmosphere definitely changed when we tipped her. Hopefully she was ok in the end and we didn’t offend her.

Don't really have too much to say, the service is great, the pizza was delicious, only problem is the public facing menu (outside) is cheaper than the menu when you sit down, this is misleading to the public.

Nice enough. Good range of pizzas and options. Good for kids too. Unfortunately the kids pasta was microwaved so, despite being cool on the outside, our 4 year old chose from the center and roasted his mouth.
