Pizza Express in Greenwich

If I could give negative stars, I would. Very disappointing service. We tried to dine in today at around 1630 and there was just 3 of us. We were second in line waiting to be attended and when it was our turn, the girl staff asked how many are we then we said 3. She turned her head to the right and said we don’t have available seats for now. There were more than 5 tables available inside that can accommodate at-least 4 persons and a lot outside because there is 1 group dining outside. She did not even ask if we have a reservation! Train your staff accordingly because this type of service is really disgusting. She should have asked if it is okay to wait for 10 or more minutes. But there was no offer at all! Right away we were rejected when there are clearly tables. Lets say your busy, but always offer and ask if we mind waiting.

Pizzas were good, though in insight, I should have gone for the “classic” pizza as the base is thicker and tastier than the romana. It wasn’t clear to me it would be different nor did our waiter gave us any info. In insight looking back at the menu now, I can see the small description, but it’s so overloaded with info that I wouldn’t be surprised others may miss it too. So to save everyone’s time 🤣: - Romana pizza = larger and thinner base - Classic pizza = smaller and thicker base What was very good though is that they had an offer on where kids were eating for free and that was clearly advertised outside. Lastly, being at the O2, the place can get quite busy so I’d recommend booking a table ahead of time or plan to eat outside peak hours to avoid queues.

Everything was amazing and we had a great time. Angel was very enthusiastic towards customers! Recommend.

We were served by Jules. She was attentive, lovely, kind and friendly. It was an absolute pleasure to be out at the O2 having a meal before the concert. Thoroughly recommend the restaurant and lucky you if you are served by Jules. Enjoy!

She has made us all return customers. As customers ourselves we had the pleasure of experiencing the perfection of customer experience all thanks to our lovely server Julia. The reason why I gave it 4 for food was that I'd really been looking forward to their malanzzana but was told they'd just changed the menu.. I know it's pizza express but I fancied something less bready so opted for the chilli prawns which were lovely, my mate ordered polenta chips which I'd never had before..liked them and was discussing how to make them for dinner next day.. one of the kids took a couple thinking they were regular chips, ate one but not the other because they 'tasted weird' when we asked afterwards. She is a fussy eater but ate her food and the white chocolate roulade her mum was convinced she wouldn't eat. They were very patient with us, my friend had initially booked a table for 4 - her and kids, but changed it to a table for us and the kids together on the next table..I arrived first and the guy at the desk could only find the initial booking on their sheet.. I waited for a while messaging my friend and was about to ask him again when another lady asked so I explained and she went towards the back and checked, returning to confirm that we had also been allocated the table next to the original. My friend had been held up in traffic and sent the wrong way by Google,I called as the team were about to give our bigger table to other guests _ this was nearly half hour after we were expected. They were not far away and so were able to take that table and join me. No comment was made by staff about them being late and at the end when I asked for the bill and they took my giftcard and had to wait for my friend to pay the balance, they were equally professional... thank you 😁 I was going to take one * off for not having both tables on the front list but everything else they did more than made up for it

Really disappointing and upsetting experience today. Staff did not greet on arrival, instead left me and my child standing at the entrance waiting to be seated for a while whilst one staff member was standing infront of us shuffling menus and other staff continued walking past without acknowledging us. We eventually got seated in the corner and despite it not being particularly busy, staff took a significant amount of time to take our order. We were then brought the incorrect drinks after 20 minutes and then people who arrived after us were served starters and drinks before we’d even received ours! Not one member of staff came to check, nor did anyone walk past us for some time for me to shout for their attention. Food was bland and below average, my pasta was cold and chicken was soggy, I couldn’t manage to eat it. I requested for my child’s dessert to be brought out as we’d just been left waiting for so long and the staff member glared at me and told me I’ll have to wait. She then brought it over and carelessly placed it on the table without acknowledging us, I said thank you and she walked off. Very neglectful service. I will not return.

Good meal option in the O2. Can be busy during holidays and weekends. Friendly service.

We visited before seeing Peter Kay. Service was a little slow, especially as the restaurant was quietening down. Food was really good. Quite expensive but I suppose you’d expect that being so close to the venue. Would recommend booking a table to avoid long waits.

What a disappointment I was when eating the pizza from this restaurant, the pizza looks like the one bought in the frozen supermarket, the same taste and everything and the regular service, the waiters are not serious. Every time I go to eat a frozen pizza from the supermarket I am going to think about this restaurant

30 of us visited London O2 centre yesterday to celebrate my son's b'day party. Overall service was excellent, especially the lady who was servicing us food, drinks etc. In-store line Manager was very nice, had a pleasant experience.

Would recommend this Pizza Express branch. Despite no reservation, we got a table outside and received attentive service. Ritika was exceptional, managing the queues and checking on everyone, which, due to her, made us stay for dessert. Great experience. I've been to Pizza Express in Haymarket and Alwych it wasn't busy yet, yet slow service and terrible customer service. 02 branch on a Saturday was packed and yet great customer service.

This definitely is the best restaurant at O2. The atmosphere is just amazing! The manager is extremely friendly and helpful, and I felt like he attented to all my needs. Also, I was very impressed with the service, specifically with Julia, who was such a kind and attentive waitress! I felt like home! The food and drinks are just great, and the service went smoothly. Will definitely come again and bring all my friends and family here!

We ate here before Moby's concert and it was very average. We both have o2, so the classic pizza is only £6.95 (with priority). It's the price it deserves to be fair, not much taste, and very bland. Overall service was fine. It got better when a nice lady took over. She was quick and kind.

Amazing pizza, delicious pizza base- crunchy! The menu design is a little confusing and hard to follow.

Untrained staff, staff approach to customers poorly conducted. Menus damped on the table and turned their back away. Pasta size really small from the usual size. Salads were ordered and then we were informed there were no grains to be served.

We were served by a lady called Jules. She had such a warm personality to the point it felt like we were speaking to a friend but at the same time being attentive, suggesting what to have and giving us space to enjoy our meal. I’d go as far as saying that perhaps she should be used as an example of how to interact with customers.

Last night me and my family ate at Pizza Express for my Birthday and Ritika was our waitress. Ritika was absolutely incredible and a real credit to your restaurant! Her service was excellent and we were really looked after the entire time we were there! We’re regulars at Pizza Express and we all said that it was by far the best time we’ve ever had and that the food tasted absolutely delicious! Thank you so much to all the staff for making it so perfect! Can’t recommend this pizzeria enough to anyone visiting the O2 arena!

This is a very busy restaurant at the O2. Shekha was our waitress, she was amazing. Friendly, prompt and efficient, we couldn't expect more. Food was great and when you consider the pace they have to work at, exceptional

Samuel was a great host. He didn’t give us the 30% discount we begged and pleaded for and held his ground for his employer resulting in a net profit for them from our dining experience. Despite that we parted ways in good spirits and both parties were satisfied from our 60 minute exchange of goods and services.

Extremely unbothered staff, working on the floor& being on their phone, very slow service, and the attitude is extremely awful& awkward. Not the place to eat if you were to consider. The atmosphere was death!

The restaurant is quite delicious But I wonder, is this potato salad? Why is this called potato salad when it is just potatoes and onions?

Good food, good wait time, nice staff, nice atmosphere

Very busy but extremely efficient service from beginning to end, especially from Shekha who was lovely. Checked everything and was very attentive. Lovely calm manner. Watched the cooking team who were absolutely on it, very tight production line. Pizza was cooked to perfection. We thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal.

Please avoid this place the lady serving us was lovely, helpful and understanding . The food was ok well the pizza and pasta was ok but the chicken wings was inedible and was was told all chicken is take. Put of the freezer night before to defrost to then be cooked so a place like pizza express uses non fresh meat so avoid any foods containing meet or white meet the chicken smelt and tasted rotten after my husband took 1 bite he spat it out!!!! For £83 got given rotten meat and ok pizza with hard pasta !!! Joke!
