Pizza Express in Greenwich

Friendly service and excellent atmosphere!!

I booked a table for my mum and I at 4pm on a Sunday. It started off well with the waiter being pleasant and friendly, and the drinks and mains arriving pretty promptly. However, it did go a bit downhill from there. The food was dumped off at the table without asking if we needed anything else. We were sat there for a long time waiting for our plates to be cleared while watching people who arrived later still getting served. I had to work hard to get someone’s attention to have the plates cleared, to be offered a dessert menu and to get the bill at the end. Nobody came to check on us throughout the meal and we were there for around 2 hours. I could see a large queue developing outside in the meantime and I can understand why. The food was good and it arrived quickly once we ordered it, but the organisation and attentiveness of the staff really needs some work.

Excellent! Service was ace and although all pizza express are supposed to be the same this was the best pizza express pizza I’ve had for years

Food is excellent, ambience is good, and team member Thri helped us with selecting the food as we have many allergies

Really poor and slow service, we were quite a big group (7) and very excited to try this pizza express for the first time, but the majority of the team of servers didn’t seem happy about serving us. We maintained respectful and patient in being seated and served, but the service was very slow, and in all of honesty it wasn’t too busy. We even cleaned up our dishes in waiting for the bill and there was a hassle over extra food having been added. Overall interior and cleanliness was lovely, and we still had a fun time with the delicious food.

Alex our server was amazing, was dealing with a lot of food from our table and nothing was ever an issue! Laura the chef was dealing with the kitchen alone and absolutely smashed it! Food was quick and vibes were effortless! Will come again! Thank you very much!

We dropped in for dinner before our show at the O2 and from the welcoming greeting to the usual excellent Italian themed food (perfectly as expected) complimented by excellent service from our hostess Jen who looked after us throughout our eating experience. As they do not automatically add a service charge, we made sure we added a tip in recognition. Highly recommend their Soave for those of you who enjoy a tipple of white wine!

My friend and I had a great time at O2 despite of it being super busy as we got there before the show . Food was amazing and a very friendly service . We could not have chosen a better place for the occasion .

Had an amazing dinner with my daughter. There was a really busy day but the service was on the high level. Food came fast and looked fantastic.The staff was always asking me friendly if evething is fine. Our water took my order very detailed including asking about my preferences and allergens. As I am not fluent in speaking English many thanks to Alex, Tri and OJE!!!

The place was nice and staff really nice, but the team manager name Oge been absolutely rude and unpolite, we ordered a lot food and bill was over £100, but restaurant couldn't make plain fries for our small kid and he didn't had what to eat, we bring fries for the kid to eat (that he won't be hungry) Oge came and asked do not bring outside food, we tried calmly ask if kid finish his fries, he asked us even to leave restaurant because of this. We do follow and appreciate rules, but this is unacceptable as it's only a kid and our bill was over 100£, so Manager decided even to lose customers, money because of his pride

I wouldn’t even rate this 1 star. We booked for 5.30 and we were late cause of London traffic. And the woman let people without booking in. Then was absolutely rude to us as if we were stupid when we tried to call twice

I loved the pizzas barbecue chicken very much and service is very good as well and especially Thri waiter is very friendly and comfortable

Extremely slow service. It took more than 40 mins to get just 2-3 pizzas and that too when I insisted to bring it fast. Prices also don’t justify the taste. The only reason they survive at that place becoz there is no competition.

Big shoutout to Bruno, who went the extra mile to look after us last night. He was extremely efficient and thoughtful - He offered to keep the food warm in the oven for our guests who were late due to unexpected road closure. What a legend!

Our waitress bela was great - we turned up with 12 hungry kids and she made sure the food kept coming out as quick as possible! Restaurant was a bit packed on a Saturday - but food good. Kids piccolo menu is excellent value!

Georgia the waitress was brilliant. Nothing too much trouble. The lasagne was disappointing and very much like a ready meal microwave lasagne. However, everything else was as you would expect from Pizza Express. However, also, just to add, too much really powerful dressing on the olives. Thanks.

Visited many Pizza Expresses throughout my lifetime, and always experienced top-notch food and high-quality service. Me and my cousin attended WWE Money In The Bank at the O2 back in July and came to Pizza Express for tea before the show. We were waited on by professional, friendly staff and received fantastic food at great prices! Would definitely recommend this Pizza Express if you're coming to the O2 for shopping or an event! I went to pizza express at the o2 arena on the 20th January 2024 and got food poisoning!! I’ve been very ill since eating that pizza. It was undercooked but due to going to a concert I didn’t have enough time to change it otherwise I wouldn’t have eaten at all. Not the greatest start to the new year I must say

Ideal venue to dine at before a concert at the O2. Despite being busy, our server Georgia was incredibly attentive. The food was delicious and ai was pleased to see that the dough balls were back to their generous size. So many other Pizza Express restaurants have reduced the portion sizes.

We always try and find a pizza express as my son is colieac so we know its safe .. the food amazing as always , drinks a little pricey ! On this occasion the service wasn't great , we waited 20 mins just too order a drink. Then our food was about 45 mins as I think we got forgotten about. Nice meal just service lacking

Pizza Express is a large chain and the standard is consistent throughout the chain. Each building is different. Menu refreshed regularly.

Friendly staff, decent food. Good place to take young children. Also good if you have the app to get the offers, helping to reduce the bill.

Popped in for a quick bite to eat before the Young Voices Concert. Amazing service, even though the queue was fairly long, we got seated very quickly considering. We only had an hour to spare and our waitress Georgia was extremely efficient, making sure we got our drinks immediately and our food came super quick. Cannot fault it! Thank you!

Great surprise! Wasn’t expecting one of the best Pizza Express experiences when deciding last minute to try them after watching a movie at O2. I had the best Calzone I can recall and great friendly service. Atmosphere wasn’t especially noteworthy, but better than expected for a restaurant at the O2. Recommended 👌🏼
