Tourist area, too busy for the staff

Hema who looked after us is a credit to Pizza Express. Her service was efficient but so friendly. Our pizzas were probably the nicest we've ever had in a Pizza Express. Thank you.

We did our daughters birthday here and Itziar provided an amazing entertaining service, very kind, patient - food was great and my daughter loved her party!

A different Saturday morning and a wonderful birthday party for Ella. The kids had fun and learned how to bake pizza with their favorite ingredients. Thank you, Itziar, for your cheerful spontaneity and attention to the children.

A cozy place, and the pizza's are delicious. Hema is very friendly and solution-oriented.

The 11 inch pizza was not good and for what u get extremely expensive. The service was rude and inpatient, would not recommend!

I ordered and paid for extra chilli on a pizza and didn’t get it. Pizzas were both squashed down in their boxes. I had asked the delivery person not to ring the doorbell as it would wake the toddler, but this was ignored.

Not recommended- very pricey for the quality of the food. The food is school quality not very nice to be honest, okish for a kids quick lunch

Just had a kids birthday party at Pizza express, church street, Greenwich. A great experience! Hema looked after us very well, a great host, kids had a great time making their own pizza's! Good price, good food, recommended!!

Itzial was a brilliant host for my daughter’s 9th birthday party. She kept the children well entertained, they really enjoyed making their own pizzas and the food was really good too. Would recommend!

Child’s party - lady was rude to the children, then proceeded to ask all the parents to give her a 5 star rating whilst stood next to them watching them write the reviews. Mocked a child’s pizza when they did it wrong, and was generally unpleasant to the children

Inedible rubbish thrown into the bin! It tasted reheated and it was soggy. It was grotesque. Both pizzas ordered were not fit for consumption. I am livid. £30, time, energy and food all wasted.

Celebrated my son’s 5th birthday at the pizzeria and Itzar looked after us. She has been so incredible, very organised and enthusiastic. Full energy throughout the whole party and children absolutely loved her! They followed all instructions and had a fantastic time! Thank you Itzar so much for a memorable and special time!

I love this place and the food is also delicious, it's a second time when Aneta served us, she makes us feel very welcome, she gave very good suggestions and she smiled and joked as well... this place is highly recommend

I came this eveing with my husband to be. It was totally full and busy. We didnt book but the manager I think his name is Waine. He was so nice to us and made a huge fuss! It was my birthday as well. Service way too slow even with very few diners! Ordered garlic bread & pizza to be served at the same time. Got garlic bread after about 15min then had to wait a further 25min for pizza. This after being told there's only a short wait time!

She made sure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. It’s rare to come across such dedicated service, and she made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was also tasty and cooked well.

I brought my Year 1 class along for a school visit on Wednesday, everything was amazing!! Anete was EVERYTHING! We could not have wanted anymore, Pizzas were great too. We had a wonderful morning. Thank you!

Went here for a quick lunch after uni, service by Aneta was absolutely fantastic and she made sure we had everything we needed 🩷 We got the padana and pomodoro pesto to share, as well as doppio dough balls and they were all absolutely fantastic, super tasty. Would definitely come back here with all my friends!!

Brilliant pizza! Loved the thin crust and the Pedana pizza was absolutely fantastic, perfectly sweet and subtle with the goats cheese. Aneta was lovely, she elevated the experience by being quick and lovely. Will definitely come again!

Service was brilliant, we split a few mains between our group and everything was lovely. Aneta was very friendly and made recommendations when we were struggling to choose.

Im only saying five stars because i want everyone to know how bad my experience was. So me and my friends came to the restaurante to have a nice evening meal and when we arrived we were met with rudeness and judgement from staff members. We were decidibg what to order when we decided we only wanted some smaller dishes to share and when we were ordering the waiter kept saying “whos next hm is anyone ordering” in an angry and rude way . So dont go here as you will be met with utter rudeness the name of the waiter is aneta and when my friend asked for the free dough balls sincw we spent over £10 she completely ignored her. also this is the amount of garlic butter they gave us

Itztiar was absolutely delightful. Hosted a party full of 9 years old made the pizza, handled everything with no problems and was so welcoming, kind and accommodating not to forget Aga who organised everything will nothing but support, consideration and kindness. I am so grateful to them both.

A school friend of my son's had a birthday party here where they made pizzas. Itziar guided them through the pizza making. She was good with the children and helpful when they had the odd accident. They enjoyed it a lot, I think they learnt something, and they all got a nice meal out of it.

I had an exceptional experience at Pizza Express Greenwich Church Street! Chef Waheed’s skills were top-notch – the food came out fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was equally amazing; the waiters were polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find such a great combination of speed and quality. Definitely my go-to spot for a great meal!

We came here because our little one has been asking to try it. We will not be returning. We ordered the doughballs, calamari, kids margarita pizza and kids bolognese. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait for a table at lunch time on a Saturday. But the main reason for a negative review is that in their open kitchen, one of the cooks kept wiping his nose on his arms and hands while he was preparing food. He was not wearing a mask or gloves or a beard guard event though he appeared to be unwell. He did not wash his hands the entire time we were in the restaurant. Also not sure about the policies about open cups but he was drinking his mug over his work station as well. We mentioned this to a server and it looked like she passed on the info to a manager. Nothing changed. I did not have an appetite after watching him prepare our food and side note my brave husband said that to say that the food is mediocre is generous. Needless to say we will not be returning and we will not be recommending this location to others.

Delivery was terrible was called to come out onto the street and had to wait. Could have gone to fetch it myself!!!

We were served today by Wyne he was so helpful! My parents have limited english so I usually order for them! but to our surprise he knew cantonese! Not perfect but it made my parents day! Thank you ! really made their visit amazing and happy, We felt so welcome!! 10 points!!

Restaurant promptly handed prepared food to Just Eat driver but driver never delivered food. Telephoned restaurant direct, made food again no extra cost to me, collected food. Great restaurant staff & food. Ineffective Just Eat employee driver.

Terrible experience. Having had an acceptable delivery a few weeks previously ordered a very basic meal for two kids, mid-week. Delivery time, 25-50 mins, paid extra for priority delivery. Delivery time kept getting put further back, and impossible to contact ‘restaurant.’ Eventually turned up 1 hour 20 mins after ordered - 2 basic kids’ pizza - and of course, stone cold. Just dreadful.
