Pizza Express in Greenwich

We had a great family meal. The staff were all amazing.

Pizza size is incredibly small specially looking at the price (15 gbp + 12.5% service charge)

it smells really bad and the lady told us off for not eating our tomatoes. 🍅.

Nice, casual atmosphere, good value for money. Great selection of food and drinks. Attentive, nice service. Nice card for children. The food we ordered arrived in record time and was very tasty.

What a fantastic Pizza Express! I came here, having left Franco Mancas because the service there was so bad. Aneta, the manager, was kind, helpful, welcoming and made me feel relaxed. I’ll be back - thank you, Aneta and the team.

A great place to get a good, relatively quiet meal.

My husband and son took me here for mother’s day yesterday and the food came out quickly and it was delicious! The service was amazing and we were taken care of by our waitress zeina who catered to us and never failed to make a great conversation with our son about arsenal 😂thank you to the team and zeina for our amazing experience on mother’s day!

We went to Pizza Express for my birthday and we are usually very happy with the experience. But this time the server was rude and bad tempered. Nothing about this visit went well. My husband asked for a pizza with no mozzarella on it and when the pizza arrived without one kind of mozzarella on it but still with one other kind on it, she argued that it was his fault. Her general attitude when serving was quite curt and got grumpy She also took my phone oout of my hand twice without asking. She was grumpy about us with the bill too simply because she had taken my phone the second time and selected a voucher on the rewards app which made our bill more expensive. The restaurant is only half full so it’s not too busy. It took over 20 minutes for them to come and take our order. Staff seem stressed making the waiters rude. Food also took another 30 minutes to come. The customer next to us came in the same time with us, got their order, finished the food and paid before we even got our food. Whenever we ask for someone to take our order they just keep telling us to wait. And at the end while we are in the middle of paying the bill the waiter left with the machine and went to serve someone else, and during the payment she was constantly shaking her head at us.

Excellent kids' birthday party! My son chose Pizza Express in Greenwich for his 10th birthday party. Dimi was our host and did a brilliant job of getting all the kids excited about preparing their own pizzas. The whole thing ran like clockwork and everyone had a great time - thank you!

My name is Lucy and we come to greenwich Church Street as it is our favourite most organised and friendliest pizza express the managers and the waitresses take time with you are funny and chatty but so quick and professional the chefs are amazing and the food is 100 out of 10 always if not better every time. We have alot of events and mostly our children have had most of there birthdays here as there number 1 restaurant is pizza express for them its such a variety and it suites all on the menu. Clean fresh and comfortable. My nephew had his 17th birthday here February 26th 2024. What an amazing night as usual thank-you to all at our favourite restaurant for making our night extra special. We love you guys especially Agness the manager and our lovely waitress anetta. See you real soon. X

went here today with my friends for my birthday and when we were getting the bill, one waiter with dyed blond hair came with the card machine. he was rude to me and rushed me as i was trying to check my bank account before paying for everyone at the table. ruined my night i am disappointed.

I had a delightful experience at Pizza Express! The canelonni was delicious, and the classic dough balls were a perfect starter. The staff was exceptional, making the whole dining experience even more enjoyable. Highly recommend!

Pizza Express is a reliable safe place for families. The food is good quality, the service is fast and attentive and my children love it also for the range of options catered for them and the fun games on their children menu. If you have small children and you're not sure where to go for lunch, try Pizza Express. You won't be disappointed.

Three if us ate in at Greenwich. We had a great experience. Our waitress Aneta was extremely helpful and gave us "pizza advice" and wonderful service. This made our visit special. Our three Romagno pizzas were delicious. It was a flying visit so having an attentive waitress was brilliant.

Good food but very cramped. I had to sit in the corridor next to the pizza service area with people having to push past my table to get to the toilet and the back of the restaurant. Not the best experience.

We had lunch on a Tuesday and it was quite busy, but the stuff was lovely and they did everything on their hands too help us, By mistake, we are there one pizza, less, and one we mentioned these, they quickly asked the kitchen to prepare another one which came in a matter of minutes. Food in general was great tasty, and well done

The restaurant is usually excellent when dining in: ordering out is a different matter. The latest order was sent only part-cooked: so poorly made that you could still see where the dough was supposed to expand on cooking. Absolutely pointless sending food out if it hasn't been checked. You can do better than this.

This review is only was Aneta. She really gave us excellent service today. Food was ok as we had much better pizza at other pizza express outlets. I cant recommend Aneta enough and i think she is an asset to pizza express as business. Keep up the good work 👍👍👍👍👍

We recently celebrated our daughters 7th birthday here at one of the pizza making parties - the whole experience from start to finish was wonderful. So easy to book, all the staff great to deal with, so friendly and helpful and then on the day our host, Itziar was absolutely amazing, what a wonderful women! The kids loved her and her energy for the party was amazing, she ensured everything ran smoothly and nothing was too much for her, thank you Itziar, we all had a blast and our daughter walked away very very happy :)

The server was brilliant and the pizza is always great.

Five stars all-round for me! Staff were very welcoming, very nice atmosphere inside and great food also! I had the Sloppy Giuseppe and very much enjoyed it, I recommend it if you do like a mix of veggie and meat! Definitely will be coming back here when I visit Greenwich again!

Itziar led the kids party that we attended, she engaged the kids well and they enjoyed the pizza making.

Family atmosphere, friendly service from staff, kids loved the pizza and sugar filled deserts. All fresh ingredients, what you would expect from excellent run any pizza express establishment. Free halluimi fries, thanks to the app. Recommend to book table prior to arrival as it can get busy over weekends at Greenwich, the app is helpful.

I've been coming to this Pizzaexpress for a while and there's a reason I keep returning. The staff is always friendly and the pizzas are always delicious 😃 On the photos there's a Romana Pollo ad Astra and Polenta Chips. Once again, much recommended! 😃

Had a lovely evening at Pizza Express! I had my all time favourite classic dough balls and I tried the pollo pesto pasta! It was delicious. I was served by Dmytro and it was a great service indeed! Super hospitable.

Il Bacio is one of my old-time favourite pizzerias in Stoke Newington. It was too hot to cook or go out today and Il Baccio came to the rescue and did not disappoint.

strange experience. food really good i thought. seemed a tad doughy so needed slightly longer in the oven. i had to eat as a calzone as very floppy. not ideal. toppings were lovely, but in sections! olives on 1 qtr, pepperoni on a different qtr. was bizarre and unique! olives were cut in half, but still stuck together. once i separated the olives and moved toppings around it was quite pleasant, if slightly underdone and floppy. not sure about this place, as everything seems in situ to get a properly good pizza, but sloppiness with the toppings combined with undercooking meant i don't think i saw these guys at their best as base and ingredients were tasty and fresh. disappointing as i think possible could have been top notch with a bit of care. i may order again. i may not.

The lamb was cooked well but, in some really watery liquid. The vegetable gratin was gross consisting of 3 chunk florets that hadn’t been cooked properly, I couldn’t cut through them with regular cutlery. Poorly seasoned, very thin runny liquid & the tiniest amount of mozzarella cheese. The tiramisu was all sponge, thinnest layer of cream & pretty tasteless/ didn’t balance well at all, like way over diluted coffee. If I hadn’t just got in & wasn't exhausted, I would have walked round & asked them to make it again. It was shocking.

Wrong item, and awful presentation of the pasta. The chips looked really bad too. I did not pick up the food and still got charged.

Food arrived piping hot, it was delicious, perhaps you should put a choice of regular or large portions, it was sooo nice I am sorely tempted to eat the food ordered for my husband. Thank you, will definitely be ordering again.

Delicious! Loved the bread with the risotto. Mind you, not 100% sure the ice cream was quite worth the price but it was nice.

Everything good as usual just the fiorentina needed more time in the oven as the egg white was very runny. I had to put it in my oven for some extra minutes to cook it through. Tasted great after.

This is my favourite restaurant in London. Food is great, tasty and authentic, service great.

I usually love this place and have ordered loads of times, but this order was disappointing. The food came a bit late, but that's not a big issue. More of an issue was that the egg on the Fiorentina pizza wasn't cooked properly. No one wants runny egg white on a pizza! I had to re-cook the pics even after it arrived late so I was pretty annoyed.

You only gave me one Pasta when I ordered two. The bread of the Bruschetta was soggy.

Super fast delivery but the carbonara was pretty terrible.It arrived nice and hot but absolutely dripping in oil/butter, sauce was split and bacon not crispy. Pizza bread was nice flavour-wise, but had huge chunks of overpowering rock salt all over it so overall pretty disappointing.

Used to be amazing. The pizza I received today contained half frozen, fully shelled, king prawns on them. It’s impossible peeling half-cooked king prawns. Rest of the pizza was a soggy mess. Ended up in the bin.

Looked like it was made in a rush and tasted like a decent supermarket pizza.

Not ordering again from here. I last ordered from here some 2+ years ago and thought I'd give them another go, wish I hadn't. Ordered the calamari, this was nice with a light batter. This is the only reason they get any stars! Then the pizza... Considering they are 10 mins from mine, the pizza was lukewarm at best, not cut and the smallest amount of meat that was concentrated in the centre of the pizza. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, shame on me...

Great tasting food, delivered early by a very pleasant delivery driver.

Tasty food but but when adding extra ingredients we would not expect a small handful just dumped in the middle of the pizza right at the end. What little there was ended up falling completely over to one side as they weren’t mixed with the other ingredients before cooking.

The soup of the day was vegetable broth. Not a soup. The pizza was terrible. It looked and tasted like frozen pizza from Iceland.
