Pizza Express in Greenwich

Service way too slow even with very few diners! Ordered garlic bread & pizza to be served at the same time. Got garlic bread after about 15min then had to wait a further 25min for pizza. This after being told there's only a short wait time!

She made sure we had everything we needed, offering great recommendations and checking in at just the right moments without being intrusive. It’s rare to come across such dedicated service, and she made our visit even more enjoyable. The food was also tasty and cooked well.

I brought my Year 1 class along for a school visit on Wednesday, everything was amazing!! Anete was EVERYTHING! We could not have wanted anymore, Pizzas were great too. We had a wonderful morning. Thank you!

Went here for a quick lunch after uni, service by Aneta was absolutely fantastic and she made sure we had everything we needed 🩷 We got the padana and pomodoro pesto to share, as well as doppio dough balls and they were all absolutely fantastic, super tasty. Would definitely come back here with all my friends!!

Brilliant pizza! Loved the thin crust and the Pedana pizza was absolutely fantastic, perfectly sweet and subtle with the goats cheese. Aneta was lovely, she elevated the experience by being quick and lovely. Will definitely come again!

Service was brilliant, we split a few mains between our group and everything was lovely. Aneta was very friendly and made recommendations when we were struggling to choose.

Im only saying five stars because i want everyone to know how bad my experience was. So me and my friends came to the restaurante to have a nice evening meal and when we arrived we were met with rudeness and judgement from staff members. We were decidibg what to order when we decided we only wanted some smaller dishes to share and when we were ordering the waiter kept saying “whos next hm is anyone ordering” in an angry and rude way . So dont go here as you will be met with utter rudeness the name of the waiter is aneta and when my friend asked for the free dough balls sincw we spent over £10 she completely ignored her. also this is the amount of garlic butter they gave us

Itztiar was absolutely delightful. Hosted a party full of 9 years old made the pizza, handled everything with no problems and was so welcoming, kind and accommodating not to forget Aga who organised everything will nothing but support, consideration and kindness. I am so grateful to them both.

A school friend of my son's had a birthday party here where they made pizzas. Itziar guided them through the pizza making. She was good with the children and helpful when they had the odd accident. They enjoyed it a lot, I think they learnt something, and they all got a nice meal out of it.

I had an exceptional experience at Pizza Express Greenwich Church Street! Chef Waheed’s skills were top-notch – the food came out fast, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The service was equally amazing; the waiters were polite, attentive, and made sure everything was perfect. It’s rare to find such a great combination of speed and quality. Definitely my go-to spot for a great meal!

We came here because our little one has been asking to try it. We will not be returning. We ordered the doughballs, calamari, kids margarita pizza and kids bolognese. Service was good and we didn’t have to wait for a table at lunch time on a Saturday. But the main reason for a negative review is that in their open kitchen, one of the cooks kept wiping his nose on his arms and hands while he was preparing food. He was not wearing a mask or gloves or a beard guard event though he appeared to be unwell. He did not wash his hands the entire time we were in the restaurant. Also not sure about the policies about open cups but he was drinking his mug over his work station as well. We mentioned this to a server and it looked like she passed on the info to a manager. Nothing changed. I did not have an appetite after watching him prepare our food and side note my brave husband said that to say that the food is mediocre is generous. Needless to say we will not be returning and we will not be recommending this location to others.

Delivery was terrible was called to come out onto the street and had to wait. Could have gone to fetch it myself!!!

We were served today by Wyne he was so helpful! My parents have limited english so I usually order for them! but to our surprise he knew cantonese! Not perfect but it made my parents day! Thank you ! really made their visit amazing and happy, We felt so welcome!! 10 points!!

Restaurant promptly handed prepared food to Just Eat driver but driver never delivered food. Telephoned restaurant direct, made food again no extra cost to me, collected food. Great restaurant staff & food. Ineffective Just Eat employee driver.

Terrible experience. Having had an acceptable delivery a few weeks previously ordered a very basic meal for two kids, mid-week. Delivery time, 25-50 mins, paid extra for priority delivery. Delivery time kept getting put further back, and impossible to contact ‘restaurant.’ Eventually turned up 1 hour 20 mins after ordered - 2 basic kids’ pizza - and of course, stone cold. Just dreadful.

Ordering lasagna took a while, but then it arrived nice and hot on the table. Good portion, just a pity that the Parmesan was put on the lasagna and not loose in a container. You can see the food being made through the open kitchen. Nothing rushed, staff has time to pay attention to customers

I ordered the 12 inch hawaiian pizza but instead they brought out the chunky glob. Big Bazza the waiter wasnt even italian what a let down.

Came here to eat with a large group of 6 to eat after a long day of university. The place was very welcoming and cozy, and our waiter was really nice, she made sure we had everything we needed and helped us use the app. We had various pasta dishes and the new Spicy Wings, which were really delicious based on what my first said😂 I myself had the Pollo Pesto which is always a good classic, delicious as always, and my friends got the Mac &Cheese and Cannelloni, which they found excellent. Also tried the new 6-Layer Fudge Cake, very sweet and chocolately, good choice for a sweet tooth😅 Will definitely come back again and recommend others to try.

Great place in London for pizza. Probably the best in this city. Service is excellent one. Just one small thing is menu. Why do I need to have like 3-5 different menu? Make one with all stuff inside.

We had our daughters birthday party at Pizza Express Greenwich. They hosted a pizza making party, led by Itziar. Overall, great service and Itzair was really good and patient with a party of very excited girls.

Had a birthday party here for the child and our party coordinator Hema went above and beyond to ensure that everyone was included, had fun and enjoyed themselves. A few of our guests have dietary requirements and Hema made sure to be as inclusive as possible. The pizza-making party was a hit with all the guests and all had a blast. Thank you to all the staff, especially Hema who attended to us.

Ordering via Just Eat and you get awful quality? Don't expect restaurant standard food. Don't bother ordering any starters or extras, you will get a tiny amount.
