Pizza Express in City of London, Westminster

Patricia Chrissy Anny thanks to these lovely ladies. A perfect diner, really good pizza, cocktail. I would 100% recommend !!!

2 teachers came in with 8 students and it was all bad faces and unpleasant treatment from the person in charge of the restaurant. Before sitting down we told us that we wanted to pay separately and they gave us a lot of problems. I believe that teenagers are also customers and deserve respectful treatment. Faced with all these signs of contempt, we decided to turn around and look for another place.

Walked in on a whim to get out of the busy london streets. I'm so glad I did. Mushroom Arancini was mazing and they had the best pizza I've ever eaten, period the end. Oh, and get the Honeycomb Cheesecake. It's to die for!!!!

Pizza was good but way overpriced for the thin crust they use.

Gabor was an excellent host, fast service but never felt like it was rushed. The food was excellent as always.

I never had that service before ! They call med my love , wow and she wad so nice with us ! And the pizza was delicious i took her recommendations.... just provide better knife for pizza !

Very good location and very fast service. Many gluten-free options, we ordered three pizzas for 4 and the portions were sufficient.

A very nice joint, far better than many of their other branches. A couple of friends and I went there and the manager Kartik I believe was his name, took care of all of us. Food was nice and affordable and has a good vibe spending a few hours there.

Patrica, you made our night. The food and service were implacable, we had an amazing night. The hot honey dough buns are a real recommendation if you’re into trying some fun combinations. The cannoli (and pizza) tastes really authentic and we were told the kitchen has their own recipe for the cannoli. One word, incredible. Thank you for the amazing night and a special thanks to Patricia❤️

One of the nicest experiences we’ve had at a Pizza express, all down to our server Patricia who was outstanding and constantly giving us ordering tips and consistently had a smile on her face!

Abysmal experience at this horrid restaurant. We waited for our starter for 40 minutes. When we asked the lead server, she served more attitude than pizza. Please don’t bother, especially if you’re going for the pre-theatre menu. You’ll miss your show. Never again!

If you are planning to have lunch or dinner in this restaurant, go ahead. We went there today. I asked for a salad with crispy chicken and arugula. The salad was dry, totally faded, I asked for a change. The waiter called his superior who arrived and told me “you just have to eat the chicken and leave the salad”! Fortunately the waiter changed the salad for lettuce. But the attitude of this rude character must be denounced. In addition, very average food and you eat with your table neighbors, so much so that they have optimized the space. TO FLEE !!!!!

Hello, the pizzas were very good but the service was not acceptable. He was cold and grumpy. I asked if the pizza La Cubana is spicy/hot and the waiter said is not. So i ordered and when I ate surprise, it was hot. I don't like to make trouble so i switched the pizzas with my wife cause i can't eat spicy. Even my wife, and she is eating spicy, said it was very hot. At the and he asked me not so polite to give to him my empty plate or I am an customer not and waiter. So the service ruined for me the experience.

Order slopy giuseppe. Pizza is delicious. Sprinkling on garlic oil makes it even better for Korean tastes.

Came here to eat food, we ordered our food and whilst we were waiting for it my friend and I needed to leave for a minute to do something urgent. The waitress said this was okay and we went for a minute (2mins max) and came back. We saw our drinks had disappeared and all of the waiters were ignoring us. When i called for someone the waiter rudely said he threw away our drinks and cancelled our order because he didn’t think we were coming back. I then explained that we told his colleague (the waitress) that we would only be a couple of minutes. He rudely responded that he didn’t know this with no further solution. I then suggested that we order our food again? He then said ‘The kitchen is closing but okay.’ Very bluntly. Due to the cold nature of his behaviour we didn’t feel like staying. I then complained to the waitress as we were walking out that she did not inform the other waiters that we were leaving and they told us the kitchen was closed for ordering. She sarcastically remarked ‘okay’ and said we could sit up here rudely. I left feeling disappointed with the very poor customer service.

It is italian restaurant. It was one of the best pizza restaurant I have ever tried. I tried Chicken Pizza. The pizza was fresh, thin, crispy and delicious. I went to two branches but it was the same taste. The price was good compared to the size of the pizza 18-20£. It is recommended 10/10. Another think, never speak about ketchup in front if Italian people.

Nice thin dough, however little lack of seasoning. Service was quick and polite, but we felt a little in rush. Restaurant was full of families with kids, thus the place was noisy.

Had fabulous time with a friend who moved abroad nearly a year ago. We shared lovely dough balls starters, individual mains, and again shared delicious 🍋 roulade. We also had very attentive Hungarian waiter named Gabor. Thank you!

Very bad place because of the rude staff (blonde long haired woman working today around 3 pm). We came in, noone cared and when we wanted to sit the woman shouted at us because we wanted to sit just because she didn’t finish the cleaning. As a waitress you can’t talk with a customer like this. We stood up and waited again at the front door to be seated, nobody cared again. So I decided to sit down again. I am older and I was tired. But the woman got angry again. So basically we weren’t allowed to sit and didn’t get food. Better change your staff if you want to survive in this business. So don’t get blinded by the nice outside look of the building, better go to any other and BETTER pizza place around.

One star really because the waiter was cool. Otherwise taste level to avoid because there is no taste.

Nice little Pizza Express, in a great location, but not too busy. Went for a pre theatre meal, service was quick. Good food and amazing prices as I'm a gold member.

Pre theater dinner for 4, kids choice. Service was very good and our waiter attentive. The food was spot on for taste, presentation and was served in a timely manner. It was a little quiet when we arrived, but as time went on it started to fill up. The whole experience was unrushed, relaxing and enjoyable. I'd certainly visit here again.

The food was great and Gabor was extremely nice and efficient. Would highly recommend!

Pizza Express offered a fantastic dining experience. The pizzas were flavorful, the ambiance was inviting, and the service, especially from Yuvraaj, was top-notch. Highly recommended!

Bad customer service. All the staff that served us were miserable and unwelcoming. Felt like they just wanted to move us on as quickly as possible.

Please stop lying about your "Italian style". Such a horrible food. Pizza xs sized, badly cooked, very poor toppings. Dessert... Just miserable. Worst americano coffe in a long time. And on top... Overwhelmed by the prices. Never again!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Food was average and portions were small. Husband went for the calzone and it was half the size of the zizzi chain. Toddler had spaghetti bolognaise and didn't like it, husband tried it and said it wasn't nice. So left with having to go else where to feed to toddler!

The worst pizza express service in 15 years. Rude woman at the reception and almost disrespectful. Her manager was disinterested and not empathetic or professional at all in my view. The woman at the reception refused me and my two daughters of 2 and 4 a table after being inside for 20mn if not more( upstairs just tables for 4 not 3 she said. And yet she gave the table to someone who was behind me and with only 2 children as well -). At that point, we had waited 20mn downstairs without getting a menu or crayons or a word from anyone. Plz take your jobs seriously.

A large group of us (32) ate at Pizza Express Haymarket on Sunday evening. Birute (supported by Anna) served us and she was exceptional. We eat out a lot and the service received was by far and away the best that we have received in a very long time. Also, the food was delicious.

Patricia is amazing, you should double her salary. Excellent service to us and the tables around us, very accommodating and even suggested some great options (soft egg and garlic oil) which we really enjoyed. When not helping customers, made a coffee for another staff member who needed it. What a hero.

Had a lovely meal last night here, the service was amazing. Despite it being so busy, they were able add another two people to our booking. Our server Eduardo was incredible and very attentive to our table. The food itself was perfectly made and enjoyed by everyone in my party, thank you to all the team there.

Came here after theatre last week, restaurant was quiet but we were ignored at front of house while the staff talked to each other, then when someone reluctantly came over (we waved at the staff) they sat us down and we moved to an adjacent table but were sharply scolded by our blonde haired waitress for moving when the table was dirty. Service was poor with exception to the lovely runner who bought us our pizzas. One we paid and left, we walked past our waitress and she blanked us. Just overall a mediocre experience, I used to visit Pizza Express often but considering the higher prices (£42 for two classic pizzas and two small beers) and so many other pizza places now in London, I don’t really see a reason to return again.
