Pizza Express in Camden

Visited hoping for dinner this evening at 8.20 pm. Was told by the person at the desk that it's by reservation only. No note to the effect on their website or on the window or at the desk. A prime example of disservice to customers. Would not recommend.

Rude staff ignorant could not get no food or refund they robbed me for 70£ on my birthday ill never go back there ever.

Rude staff and unenjoyable experience in total. Never happening again.

Great service, very quick and Xina was a great waiter and was very efficient + got charged for garlic butter??

We had Xina and he was a very good waiter! Recommend pizza express so much although the garlic butter is very expensive!

Poor service today compared to what we usually get from pizza express. Food was of a good standard however didn’t appreciate the lack of service.

We headed straight to pizza express in Euston after a long strain journey and got welcomed by a lovely lady named Tatiana! ☺, what a lovely atmosphere and what a beautiful soul Tati is! We had our boy who suffered from autism, she picked up on it straight away and recommended us to sat  in a more quieter area/table (very sensibleof her indeed and I was super impressedby this like wow!). She was super understanding, full of smile, lovely personality, an absolutepeoplesperson, supernpassionatebabiut cleanliness and her job, works with pride I noticed ;).... we had a banter & a giggle!.....Tati then bought over some crayons/hat for my boy, took our order promptly and them we got served by a charming young man named Alessio Who looled after us and who we also had a nice banter with. Alessio made eye contact with my boy, very understanding & empathetic which makes a world of a difference as it put us at ease/comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our food! Had a pizza and catalonia drinks, attention to detail....he passed us straws with a tissue (that's a nice touch)... service recv'd with big smiles & made us feel like family :)....he convinced me to have the passion fruit drink which was nice!...Jeton and Vilson were also incredible and so pleseant to talk to! They all just had smiles all round nothing was too much trouble for any of them....Tati towards the end gave me a big hug and waved at my boy what an absolute super star! We will definitely visit again after the service we rec'vd..... incredible really?!! The manageress Dana has kept this branch in ship shape! She handles her staff really well and she was cleaning and helping which is always nice to see! DANA made sure our food was on time....she spoke to us for a bit and gave us some time. We thanked her for the service as she was soo helpful ! ....what a lovely manageress DANA was, I mean, who wouldn't not want her as a manager?! I mean, she's any employee's dream to be honest so nice to her staff as you can tell from her manner! Thank you to all the staff and Management at pizza express in Euston we were completely balled over by the service so a big fat THANK YOU!!!! To all, who made our day very very special from start to finish and an absolutely credit where it is due as every staff member is an asset to the company for sure! I know it’s London but what an absolute rip off . £14 for two small glasses of wine. I ordered the leggere pizza . My god- was literally the crust of a pizza with a pile of undressed salad leaves plonked in the middle . I had visions of someone in the kitchen about to throw the remains on a plate into the bin and being told ‘hold it- we have a pizza leggere on order . That will do nicely’. And my remains cost £18!

Tatjana made our experience really enjoyable. She was quick, friendly Ann’s I would come here again

Pizza avoid English beer not great

Had a fabulous meal here on Sunday, our server was super friendly and attentive and the food was great. I had mushroom pizza and biscoff cheesecake, delicious. We weren't hurried out of the restaurant either which was a big plus.

The most horrible experience ever three tables that arrive after us ate before us pay and leave before we got our pizza. The pizza is nothing special for me to be waiting that an hour. Don’t waste your money there the states of the toilets where deplorable full of paper on the floor locked toilets only one worked stuff not friendly at all.

Went for dinner as it was close to my hotel. Food was great and hot and was served by Xina who was so attentive!

Pretty much summed up the reason I don’t go to Pizza Express much any more. Slow, inattentive staff that don’t speak basic English and seem to despise the very people they’re supposed to be helping. Got our drinks order so incredibly wrong it was laughable (including what was basically a pint glass of wine, which I’m pretty sure isn’t on the menu even at Pizza Express). Then rolled her eyes as we tried to tell her we didn’t need two of the drinks that we’d not ordered, including the pint of wine! Then after waiting 20 minutes to order, we managed to grab the attention of one waiter who outright refused to take our food order because he wasn’t the waiter designated to our table. When we were finally able to order (with a lot of back and forth due to the language barrier and menu items being unavailable), we asked our waitress roughly how long the food would be and were just told “I don’t know”. We had a child with us and needed to know if we should provide a snack in the meanwhile, so asked another waitress who passed by, but she also just gave us an elusive “normal time”. We asked what looked like the manager if they could light a candle on our table, to which they said “I don’t have a lighter”, put up their hands as if to say “sorry, that’s all I can do” and started to walk away, only finally taking the candle away to light it after we made it clear our little one really enjoyed having a candle at the table. All in all, not an enjoyable experience. Try Fatto a Mano just a 5 minute walk away for way better pizza from an independent restaurant, or any of the many better and friendlier chains like Franco Manca or Pizza Pilgrims.

The pizza is good and the service, especially from the ladies who serve is great.

Excellent meal with range of dietary preferences. Can get very busy as it is so popular. Best visit when quiet although staff kept to minimum they are friendly and well trained to provide advice on options

A very good Pizza Express, food was fresh, delicious and piping hot. The dessert pizza was amazing and has to be tried. With great service also this is well worth a visit.

Jeton was excellent! I just stopped in for a quick pizza before my train and he made sure I was well looked after throughout! He showed me how to use the app when I asked about using the member discount, brought me water without me needing to ask and brought food out as quickly as possible. I couldn’t ask for better service!

Our server, Tatjana, was a very friendly and helpful hostess. The service here was timely given the fresh prepped pizzas. We were in over a busier lunchtime period and watched the service keep pace with custom. Would highly recommend!

Definitely glad I booked a table here as even on a weekday evening it got busy pretty quickly at around 7pm. The service was average and food was served quickly. It isnt the best quality pizza but can't complain at the price.

Would have been 5 stars but they failed a basic dining experience timing marker. Although the service was excellent, timing between starters and mains was way too short, they brought the main meals out when we were halfway through eating our starters, we sent them back but that meant one of our meals wasn't very hot and this put a negative on what was a lovely dining experience.

The service was terrible, the waiters didn't listen properly, brought us all the wrong things, ordered passion fruit martini, got passion fruit juice and then, when rectifing, the waiter was rude to us and didn't even listen and then argued with me I mean, terrible hospitality!

It was really busy. I dropped in on the off chance, as a solo diner. They fitted me in at a sharing table after about 10 minutes waiting - very good, I thought. Food was excellent - spicy hot with extra nduja. Don't forget to order dough balls if you're here, they're excellent, with a great garlic butter that just makes them melt in the mouth.

Very Busy restaurant. 1st visit to Pizza Express there was 2 of us but shown to a table with one chair had to go find the man that seated us to enquire about chair. He was puzzled where to get one from. Once eventually seated waited about 25 -40 mins for order to be taken was confused as thought maybe I had to go up give order as nothing was explained. Once ordered received wrong water as it said on menu there was 2 types I got given the cheaper one which tasted horrible. Almost £4 for a small glass bottle of coke no draught soft drinks. Pizza came the knife was so blunt the pizza cutter too. Only ate half the pizza it was so thin .... extremely overpriced £18 for a pizza for one person. Would not reccomend at all..
