The Gazzano's Ltd in Camden

Gazzano es un antigua favorita y firme de la mina, así que era cuestión de encontrar una nota en la puerta indicando que esta tarde estaba cerrado y agradeciendo a los clientes por su apoyo pasado. I planned a vegetarian dinner with my friend but as we both work full time we decided to buy food from a deli. I found this place by chance but it was definetely a great choice! I bought a portion of caponata and some pasta with courgettes and ricotta. The staff was really friendly as well and I will definetely be coming back!

Contacted them asking if they could make a local delivery, which they don't usually do. They responded to me promptly, said it would deliver with pleasure, made the whole thing easy, and actually added a freebie to the order. Really pleased and will definitely be using them again. Grazie Arianna!

Pedimos una pizza que estaba preparado para ir a la orden. Crujientes finas y deliciosa con auténtico sabor italiano. También compramos una Navidad panettone de su extensa gama; la nuestra estaba hecha especialmente para Gazzano. Ya hemos recomendado esta tienda para selección de quesos y delicias italianas a nuestra familia y sin duda volveremos de nuevo en 2018.

There are some amazing coppa, san Daniele & Parma hams on sale here, with friendly & knowledgeable staff. A good place to visit for gifts etc

This is my nearest coffee shop , and it is so nice to be able to get great coffee so close to the office . You can also get a Coffee and a mini croissant for £2.50. The staff are friendly and polite and very informative . I haven't tried their food yet which looks very appetising . I would recommend a visit based solely on their coffee

Lovely little local gem. Loved the selection of italian produce. I came back from italy not long ago so was nice to smell the fresh pesto again! Had lunch sat down in the back although more expensive than normal to sit and eat. Pizza was ok. Pasta with the fresh pesto was nice. I bought fresh pasta to take with me to manchester with fresh pesto. Really enjoyed the one with beef & pork. The porcini ones werent anything special. And the pesto was nice but close enough to the ones i had in italy.

Cibo pessimo, locale carino se non fosse per il passaggio di topi in mezzo ai tavoli. Da buona italiana, mi vergogno a sentire che la nostra cucina e la nostra Terra siano venduti così all'estero..

This used to be round the corner from work. I used to buy great pumpkin tortelli and lots of Italian products you could not get in the UK generally. I went yesterday at my dad's pleading for pumpkin tortelli and googled Gazzanos - management today because I could not believe it was run by the same people. Pumpkin tortell i that have fallen apart, a sfogliatella that tastes of plastic and as has been said below, a reduced choice. Ricotta salata was found but not after I had been told it was not available. An odd food stall outside which told me Italy produces olive oil (really) with some truly horiible cold pasta with pepper (COLD pasta? You could be expelled from Italy for less). I am noi old school and am up for change but this is no longer a shop i will be going out of my way for.

Yo solía trabajar a la vuelta de la esquina, hace 5 años y cada Viernes teníamos nuestro bandejas de Gazzano. Sábado visité a unos amigos en Londres y decidimos tener italiano para la cena, así que me acordé de mi lugar encantador. Ahora, estar después de tantos años, me alegré de encontrar un nuevo y moderno, todo reformarla. Gazzano Limpio y ordenado, con una encantadora área de estar. Me gustaría decir gracias que no cambio el deli. Tienes la mejor selección de salami, jamón y quesos. Todo lo bonito organizar y se podía ver que los productos son frescos. Así que gracias chico tienda para mi cena, gracias señora encantadora para mi encantador café italiano. Y gracias Gazzano por un agradable servicio de atención al cliente. Me encantaría volver pronto. Xxx

Gazzano's stocks a fabulous selection of delicious goodies. They catered for our event and I am still thinking about the salami now... . mmmmmmm...

Like others, I shopped at the old style Gazzano for decades - making special journeys from south London in later years. Our family used to call it the time warp deli because once you were in there you lost track of time - and would come out an hour later laden with treasures. The new style Gazzano looks fabulous and the people working there are lovely - but a lot of the stuff that I used to make the journey for either isn't stocked anymore or has changed in quality. Bought some fabulous - if rather expensive - pasta, but it had been packaged too tightly in a plastic bag and was squashed and broken. Delicious despite that, though. I'd definitely go back if I was passing, but there's nothing there to draw me over the river anymore.

Love the selection of Cheese, the smoked Burrata is really good, high quality sun-dried tomatoes. You can get things like salt packed capers which can be hard to find. They sell very aromatic fresh basil, if you can get there early as it sells out.

Mai più avrei pensato di trovare questo posto.La verità: mi sono fermato perché avevo bisogno di un bagno e volevo ordinare solo un caffè...Una volta dentro non ho resistito ed ho pranzato li. Tutto è buonissimo addirittura il prosciutto crudo l'ho trovato migliore che quello che compro in Italia. Che dire... bravi!

This is my favourite place to shop. I come here at least 4 times a month. I love my salami and my fresh pasta. The shop is very clean , lovely staff working there, friendly and they know what they are selling. Gives good advice about good cheeses and good meat. ( what goes well with what ). The only thing that I miss is my brigante cheese I spoke with the man who serves in the deli and he promise me that he will try to bring back my pecorino. I truly recommend this shop if you love your Italian food. Thank you Gazzanos.

I happened upon this little gem on my way to my hotel. I just got off the train and was looking for somewhere to eat. I needed my daily caffeine and I thought Italian would be a good call.The interior is way bigger than what the shopfront suggests. Lovely choices of Italian delicacies and groceries. There's a cheese and deli counter. I sat inside where the place could seat 30.The coffee was a bit bitter but the pastry was lovely. I'm going to give the coffee another try as it's difficult to judge a cafe by one cup.

We enjoyed the sandwiches a lot, but I thought a little expensive. They gave us Italian sodas to go with, which was nice of them. Although we don't drink soda usually....

I went to Gazzano and Son with a friend to buy some Italian food for our breakfast. They have a wide range of products, and you can find every Italian specialities! And the price is actually correct

I have been a loyal customer of Gazzanos for over 25 years and delighted in the quality of its food and the fact that ordinary Italian families still shopped there alongside the more affluent new residents of the area. No more however, since the takeover by new owners. The shop has been given a dreadful makeover to look flash but tasteless . Most of the products are un-priced (always a bad sign) and the quality has deteriorated. Ordinary cheeses e.g. Fontina (average price £27 / kilo) is £38+ / kilo.Such a shame that this lovingly built-up family business has fallen so low.

I work just around the corner - Gazxanonis phenomenal I have bought panini, desserts, breakfast pastries, gourmet pastries, hot lunches ( pasta, chicken, soup, fish) cheeses to take home, drinks ... We've use to be loyal customers at Gazzano's Deli since it was managed by the old owners.Last visit was very disappointed: the quality of the food has been sensibly decreases, the Prosciutto cotto (Cooked Ham) doesn't taste good, the Bresaola like a dried insole, suitable only to make your shoes more comfortable.Strongly advise you to stay away from this place, looks nice and shiny now but the appearance it is not everything!All the best.

A very good deli, usually to go there for lunch break and since I'm Italian who just moved to London for work I feel homesick every once in a while, so I need some comfort food to go through the day. The place is well designed, maybe a bit too much to transmit the "Italian vibe", food is great, a bit pricey, but great. After not being in this deli for years, we noticed from outside that it had been refurbished and decided to call in and have a look. We were pleasantly surprised to see that it also has a lovely seating area that is not visible from the street door, enabling you to have drinks, hand made pasta dishes and wonderful traditional pastries that are prepared by helpful friendly staff ( Mario and Georgia ) We have since returned and again had excellent food and service and fairly priced for the home made quality.i really hope that this local independent business keeps up the good work and is supported by the people.

stumbled on to this cafe and was surprised by the amount of great produce and at a very affordable price , we were lucky it was quiet when we walked in sat down had sweets and looked at all the wonderful italian produce, had a great family history and again goes to show if the product is good it will outlast fads and trends. will drop in again next visit, the had great offers of coffee and pastry before 11am ask the lovely staff

What a lovely place to shop if you are looking for a decent deli with a broad choice of products. Great choice of cheese, bread and cold meats. Everything is fresh and the boys are always very polite and extremely helpful. I went last Sunday and as usual I have bought the best panettone ever, they have so much choice that I always fret about which one to get... I love their panettone. If you haven't tried please give it a go... you won't be disappointed! I was a bit unsure regarding the refurbishing but it looks great and the place looks nicer. I am a happy costumer. Keep up the good work!

I always shop in gazzanos. I love Italian food and this place is amazing. Been coming here for ages and never been disappointed. They changed the ownership now and they refurbish the place. Look amazing. We have our sitting area back !!the staff is very friendly and polite. I've been served by the guy from deli section,who been there for few years. So if you are in Farringdon , you must visit Gazzanos.

I have been a regular customer at what was an outstanding old school deli for many years. I am not local but prepared to drive for 30 minutes to shop at a unreconstructed old school Italian deli which offered a vast choice of cold meats, olives , cheeses etc served by a knowledgable and enthusiastic patron. I visited today following the makeover and was sorely disappointed . It has now become a generic Italian cafe , espresso, panini etc with a much reduced deli section. Less choice, less freshness. No sign of the previous proprietor. Staff amiable but a bit clueless. The previous charm of the place vanished. I am guessing that with the achingly hip Exmouth Market 2 minutes away they are hoping to cash in on that clientele but the sharp hike in prices combined with the much reduced choice means I, and I suspect many traditional customers,will be going elsewhere in future.

I have been a regular client at Gazzano's for several years. Since the place was refurbished, the new management increased prices steeply on the deli products. I will not return unless prices will be reduced to more reasonable levels.

Been go to Gazzano's for many years (first time with my mum)its been the best deli in London. Went there today since the Sale/Refurbishment its not a deli any more its a sandwich shop, staff have no idea what the products are. I hope Joe open other deli near by because he will make a fortune. Its a great lose to the area because the area needs a deli not a poor version of Pret.

When I saw the closed for refurbishment signs I was worried! My favourite deli closed again :-( However I was over the moon to come by yesterday and to not only see you were open but you have opened up and made yourself a little bar round the back!Love the new layout you can see alot of effort and thought has gone into this. The place looks bigger but has more stuff!??!?!I took away one of your panini with Mortadella which was perfect, will be back to try the rest as I am constantly in the area for work.Good luck and thank you for re-opening!!!!!

I have lived for 6 years close to Gazzano and I must say that quality of food is amazing and superb! Big choise available from bufalo to crudo, porcini to pecorino and they have excellent prosecco. Best italian drugstore in London. Staff is amazing and friendly

This is a review of the deli, based on years of using this as a local. This was London's Little Italy, and it still has the Italian church and a few delis. This is the friendliest. Gazannos has changed over the years, the original shop had a real old time charm, but it is still owned by the same family. When we first went grandpa Gazzano was behind the counter, but Joe was in charge. The shop is now in Joe's children's care. As in Joe's day the prices are reasonable, the quality is great, and everything is fresh as they have a great turnover. All the produce is great, you could buy ingredients or they can make sandwiches for you.

A Really really friendly, cozy and snug shop.there're lots of italian deli shop around by. All of them are great!And this one , i think, offers the best price of those italian sweet biscuits and tinned products. Not yet try their deli and dairy products. But , defintely will give a try，asap.Everthing there was something about excellent service and great experiences. Well done.
