Pizza Delasosa in York

I went for pizza after work and the owner was lovely, the food was good and the food was affordable

The shabowe was so burnt that it had to be thrown away 🤣 I don't recommend it

Had to wait a little for the “boss” to get back before my pizza could be made which was a little frustrating but my god the pizza was good, crispy bottom and good quality sauce and cheese so I’m forgiving them for that, he even checked it over and asked how my day was going before I left, overall 10/10 for the pizza and 9/10 for service 🤙

Yeah foods great but they treat customers bad allowing drivers to hand back counterfeit money. I still haven't and won't ever order here again due to this scamming

Our lovely Granddaughter and Grandson in law ordered pizza for us for our wedding anniversary. It was wonderful and came with a note wishing us a happy anniversary. Delivered by a lovely lady who also wished us a happy anniversary. Highly recommend.

literally the best pizza/cheesy chips i’ve ever had. Me and my friends have stayed in York the past couple of days and we found this pizza place. the staff is so friendly and nice and just care about the customers experiance.

Ordered at 8.10pm to be delivered for 9.05pm rang at 9.20pm to be told wasnt even cooked yet told wont long tried ringing at 9.35pm and they kept cutting me off finally turned up hour late not happy as we always use this place as food is great

Chips were crispy on delivery and cooked perfect! Food piping hot with lots off topping! And the base is lovely fresh dough, First time using this place and will deffo use again! Only down fall is the delivery takes over 1 hour

They do vegan pizza, excellent food and friendly service...

I have had a lot of food from this place tried a few pizzas, cheese garlic bread, tomatoe garlic bread, chicken burger and cheese burger I have liked every one of them and have had them all at least 2 or 3 times never a fail. The staff are friendly and kind. I highly recommend this place to people :)

Pizza Delasosa is the go to take away for my house. All 10 of us eat from there at least once a week. Their chicken parmasans are the best outside of Middlesbrough and they are the only restaurant in York to give us chips, cheese and bechamel sauce and its better than some places in Borough. The pizzas and garlic breads are incredible and worth ever penny, and everything from the kebabs and wraps to the snacks and sides are delicious. There is an excellent vegetarian and vegan menu, and the staff are so accodating and helpful, there is no excuse not to visit. Legit full five stars - I'd give them six if I could.

Makes great pizza and friendly staff

Had a chicken tikka kebab, nice fresh salad and delicious garlic & chilli sauce but let down big time by the meat which was chewy and tastless.

Fantastic pizzas, very friendly and accommodating with changes. Highly recommend for vegan / plant based diets. Their vegan cheese is also soya free!

I enjoyed delicious tasty pizza last night. Lovely bases, it arrives hot even though we live the other side of town. The vegan pizza is outstanding. I highly recommend 💗💙💚💛💜💜

Food was hot that's about all that was good kebab was drenched in fat, chops were tasteless even the salad and pitta that came with the kebab tasted stale the whole lot went in the bin disappointed will never order again.

Food was decent, driver was extremely rude however. This was Wednesday the 14th at 01:00. My order was from the brickworks and the driver was not only rude to me but also my girlfriend on the phone when he had been waiting at the gate for less than a minute. Would not order from here again solely for that purpose. Driver was in a silver astra, hope you identify him

Ordered at 10 to midnight, food arrived at 15 past 1!! When called, got told that order has never arrived in-store store so we had to wait longer than already did! Donner kebab which was ordered with salad and garlic sauce came without salad and with chili sauce. Only positive thing about this was the driver who seemed really friendly. Not Ordering again!
