Pixie Bakes Cakery and Coffee Shop in High Peak

We nearly missed this as we drove past, but very glad we stopped and went in. A small but cute little cafe with a few chairs outside too. This is one place you must visit if you are in the area. Very friendly staff and excellent service. The choice and quality of cakes is excellent and the light menu is perfect for a pit stop. Highly recommended.

Very welcoming staff. We both had a Buddha bowl, and it was delicious. Very light and fresh, packed with goodness. Cakes were fabulous.

We stopped here on our way to South Yorkshire. It suited our purposes well and the coffees and the cakes were excellent, wish we could have tried more of the latter. It's a bit small inside, only 3 tables, but when the weather is fine, there is an outdoor seating area. We had no trouble parking

After a walk, a group of us went here for drinks and snacks. The carrot cake cookie sandwich thing I tried was absolutely delicious, have never had anything like it before. There is an outdoor seating area as well as inside- as it was a largish group of us we sat outside and it was lovely.

So lovely in this café, love how cosy it is. The cakes were so tasty, also a nice selection to choose from. Recommended to all🤩

Perfect place to break up our journey south with a warming cuppa and piece of cake. We each had a different variety of bakewell cake (highly recommend) and noticed there were various vegan and GF options available too. Very friendly staff, with a few little craft type things to browse. Toilets upstairs including baby change facilities and there’s an excellent playpark just across the road which gave our toddler opportunity to burn off some energy before getting back in the car. Lovely hidden gem.

The desserts here are amazing. I went on the recommendation of a friend. I did not regret it. I hope to go back soon. Friendly staff and cute and welcoming cafe.

Amazing vegan cakes - the biscoff cheesecake truly ruined my life with how good it was, as no other vegan biscoff cheesecake matches up. Sponge cakes are always fluffy and lovely. Vegan mac n cheese is always good as well, and the staff are great.

We had heard great things about the desserts at Pixie Bakes so as we were entertaining our son and partner to a socially distanced evening meal we de died to give it a try.... They post a photo of their dessert range each morning at the time they open - so it is best to check what is in offer and head over to get some before it all goes elsewhere! Great service and absolutely delicious desserts. Well done girls - no wonder you have so many 5 star reviews.

Love going here when I visit my friend who lives up the road, the staff are lovely and the food is outstanding, the crafts they sell are quirky and good price, I recently bought a bag and the money raised goes to a local charity, can’t wait for it to reopen as iv had lots of interest in my bag and my friends all want me to get them one on my next visit.

The best coffee shop in the NW, ...and beyond. The food is always absolutely amazing; we come here all the time now even though we live mikes away.

Wonderful warm welcome sat outside great views. The dog who was also very welcomed and given a doggy treat. Nothing was too much trouble

Visited today for the 1st Time , and will definitely be back. A MUST visit for anyone visiting the Peak District Area, Awesome Cakes and Drink choice also Dog friendly. We visited whilst walking locally on our visit to Derbyshire.

Had an amazing lunch here recently. Chose the homemade cheese and onion pie which was delicious. On this occasion did not have a cake but they looked amazing, will be back soon to try one 😊.

Met up with friend for chat and coffee and cake. Great selection of cakes which taste just as good as they look and can tell they are home baked. Quite small inside with seating outside - will need to think of extending soon as reputation extends.

Absolutely amazing! The vegan cakes are the best I’ve ever had. The soups are on a another level. I come here frequently and have never had a bad visit. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the food is outstanding, their menu changes every week so you know it’s fresh and homemade. 10 out of 10! Definitely worth a visit

We had our wedding cake made here and it was amazing the work put into it and detail was outstanding. Definitely would recommend these for cakes.

Love it here. All vegetarian or vegan options. They have a special main each week. Mexican wraps my fave so far. Loads of cake options. Had my son’s birthday cake done here and really pleased. Highly recommended.

Stopped here for lunch when we were in Tintwistle and the food was brilliant. Really tasty veggie stuff.

Great cheese on toast with delicious chutney. Also tried the cakes, great selection, all homemade. Staff very friendly and they will spoil your dog rotten!

We have been twice now and sampled the beans on toast, pies and cakes, all excellent. The owners are lovely and helpful. The hot drinks are great and the setting is perfect.

What a great find. Needed lunch after a lovely walk. Had delicious Mac and cheese and then the rhubarb and custard cake. Others in the party tried the other tempting cakes and our canine friend had a Sconio!

My wife and I are regular visitors to this lovely cafe. Today we had the most delicious potato and leek soup with a mouthwatering cheese scone. Just gorgeous!!

Met up with a friend for lunch at Pixie Bakes recently. We had an absolutely excellent meal. The broccoli soup with walnut and Stilton scone was just what I needed on a cold day. I also couldn’t resist a piece of cake...raspberry ripple sponge...absolutely beautiful.

Amazing as always, lovely homemade selection of cakes and lunch choices. Jeans scones are to dye for. Caters for vegans too.

I stopped in with my husband to collect our Xmas cake (which was the prettiest and tastiest I have ever had)....and we saw broccoli soup on the menu. So we stayed. It was fabulous (as was the giant hunk of Grains bread that accompanied it). Lovely place. Great food. Friendly and helpful service. Keep up the fab work!

Visited several times this year. Staff are so lovely and friendly. Food and drink is outstanding. It’s great for a quick bite to eat or an afternoon tea. Hygiene levels are fantastic and they cater for everyone. Prices are extremely reasonable and would strongly recommend.
