Pix in Camden

One of my favorite places and we always stop here. Love the small plates because you can choose so many different things. The only thing a bit strange this time was there was only two desserts. I know they usually have more. You grab small plates and they count the sticker to know what to charge you.

Tijdens slecht weer zijn we hier wat gaan eten. De tapas is redelijk goed al is het natuurlijk een stuk duurder dan in Bilbao. Daar kreeg ik 10 pinxtos voor 11 euro; hier krijg je er 2 a 3 voor dat bedrag. Het ziet er wel mooi uit. Personeel is vriendelijk.

We found this place by chance and diddnt know what to expect, unfortunately it wasn’t for us the food all had a strange taste to it which did not work for myself and my friend, we tried three dishes and then gave up.. Cocktails were very nice. Staff were very friendly and welcoming.

Amazing Spanish tapas and cocktail bar. The vegetarian options are as good as the non-vegetarian ones. We had a variety of tapas and everything was very good. The drinks options are good too. The space is a bit constrained and gets very noisy.

Easy place, food quiet good - simple. Toilets could do with better air extraction and freshening up more often.

Cute little venue. Staff seem like they couldn’t care less, doesn’t bother me that much but when the price is so high then I get bothered. Myself and my husband had a Aperol Spritz and an espresso Martini. How can you get a spritz wrong?! They certainly know how. Basically sparkling water with aperol. I asked for more sparkling wine which they through on the top and made no difference. The espresso martini was full of coffee bits and so weak!!! Like watery coffee. These cocktails were… £15 each!!!!!!! There was also a 12.5 tip added onto. Are they mad?! Food looked alright but all in all I would avoid, it’s been a week and it’s still bothering me 😂

Was my first time there last night. Went for a selection of tapas. Food was overall good and tasteful, given one's preferences. Would totally recommend it. Everyone working there was nice and helpful, special thanks to Dimitra who was super helpful and friendly, professional at the same time. Friendly suggestion to the management : Since you're already doing and promoting specials such as the lunch offer and the Sunday offer, keep doing and add some extra ones.

Great layout and fabulous idea,you choose from the displayed tapas style on the bar. Really tasty selection,great music and the staff were great,attentive but not intrusive.We wanted an interesting but not too heavy meal pre theatre and this suited perfectly.

A little bit pricey, but really different and fun, and great to be able to try so many different things. Not very comfortable in terms of seating!

Basically a buffet of different tapas which is served on skewers and rotated every 15 minutes. Came here with a large group and really enjoyed being able to chat and drink while grabbing small plates throughout the evening. Would definitely recommend if you're looking for something different or want somewhere relaxed to eat before hitting some bars!

First time we’ve been to Pix and we’ll be going back for sure. Food was fantastic and the serving team were very friendly and obviously having fun Themselves which in my Book is a sign of them doing it right. Table was very cramped but for us that added to the atmosphere. Already recommended it to others.

Love this place - self service tapas food which is always fresh, and great value for money. But best of all is the service, I’ve been a few times and the staff are all so welcoming and friendly. Special shout out to Scott in that regard, nothing was too much trouble for him despite the restaurant being absolutely full. Will be back!

Went to Pix for Valentines Day. The manger seemed to be having a slightly bad time with staff not getting drinks out speedily enough . The food was excellent as usual but I was disappointed not to receive a rose when I left as other female customers did.

It was all delicious and such a fun experience. We also loved the intimate feel of the restaurant

What a find. Perfect if you just fancy picking and having a little of what you fancy. Fantastic choice that was regularly changing. Great hot, cold and dessert selection of well cooked, tasty bites. We tried too many to mention, all were delicious. Whilst we didn’t take advantage of it, you can get an all you can eat (including cava) option for £39 per person. Great value if you can do it justice! We will return.

Lovely little tapas bar with terrific staff. We just called in for drinks but that was no problem and we were made to feel most welcome. Enjoyed some beers and some very good Albarino. Will be back for sure to try the food which looked and smelled delicious.

I would recommend if you don't mind very loud small space. It was difficult to have a conversation because it got SO loud in there at 7pm on Tuesday. It's cute....little on the expensive side which I would not have minded if the ambiance was better and I could actually hear myself think and move around without having to apologise to every other person. .

It's a cosy and relaxed place to meet with small group of friends and enjoy an evening together with relatively reasonable prices.

Overall great experience, food was of a high standard, lots and lots of variety. Sangria was tasty but pricey £25 for a small jug. Staff friendly and attentive. Only hiccup was when it came to billing, although booked for £15 unlimited lunchtime pintxos, we were told to collect sticks and first bill was produced with individual prices based on the amount of sticks. However easily sorted when highlighted. Would definitely go back & recommend Pix

We came here for the Pinxtos all you can eat set price last time we were in London. Found it difficult to fit in the time to do it justice this trip but made sure we popped in for a quick pre-dinner snack and a glass of wine! Soooo tempted to stay and pig out and it took a bit of self-control to drag ourselves away.

The food and ambiance were very good. The only thing that doesn’t make sense is charging a 12.5% service charge on the bill when the restaurant operates pretty much as a self service, apart from bringing drinks to the table.

Took my best friend here as she loves Spanish food and this is now her favourite! 5 stars!

I have been to Pix twice in the past and enjoyed the experience. However, on my return I realised there has been a change of personnel and so a change in attitude. Food is average at best, staff are loud, cocky and at least one of them struts about acting tough and moody. I have worked in the catering industry and I vaguely remember there being a golden rule; something about never using the word ‘poison’. Shame really it used to be a nice place, now its a place with nasty gobs and average food.

We absolutely loved the fun atmosphere, delicious tapas, and friendly service. Tray after tray of amazing tapas were brought out for dinners to select from. It’s a really great concept. You collect your sticks and tally them up at the end. The problem is how expensive it can be in the end—even if you’re not a big eater. Those little sticks add up quickly. That being said, I do recommend this place and would definitely go back—just be prepared for the bill!

Visited here whilst out shopping in London and as have found on previous occasions tapas was tasty. We went for the lunchtime special of unlimited tapas for £15pp as we were hungry. Note if you are not going to have more than four large tapas best just to pay the standard price which would be cheaper. One issue is you need to keep an eye out for the dishes which are being replenished as a couple of items including pardon peppers has been out too long. Bar offers a good selection of Spanish wines and beers too.

We visited here on a rather quiet Friday night but were not disappointed. The staff and service were great and the food refreshed often. Both the savoury and sweet dishes were a delight.

Es un intento fallido de introducir el pintxo Vasco en tierras británicas. Hay una variedad importante pero variedad no significa calidad. El local tiene la iluminación de una discoteca o pub. Es difícil ver que te llevas a la boca de esa variedad de pintxos que hayas escogido. Lo vasco al igual que la limpieza brilla por su ausencia. Si quieres cócteles hay variedad y creo que es lo mejor del local. El precio para lo que es es bastante excesivo. No volveré a cometer el error de entrar.

Love the way you can be as long or as quick as you want. Food was scrumptious and what a place where you can have three puddings without anyone noticing! Good size wine although the cocktail was expensive for what it was. Enjoyed it very much.

Stopped off after some Christmas shopping for lunch. It’s a buffet style where you pick the dishes you prefer. There was a special offer at lunch of eat as much as you like as long as you have a drink although the drinks are expensive so it can still add up cost wise. Everything we tried was delicious particularly the hot tapas but also quite filling. It was a shame we couldn’t eat more! Might be helpful to know what food is going to be served so you know whether to wait for something that comes later. The seating is cosy and there’s a good atmosphere.

Came across this style of restaurant in Barcelona and loved it, really enjoyed having the same experience in London. The staff were really friendly and the atmosphere was nice and intimate. I’m looking forward to going back!

Having booked a table we arrived to the restaurant for lunch with the 'Closed' sign still on the door, which was a tad confusing given our booking was for half hour after the publicised opening time. This made it feel like we were intruding when we pushed the door open to find out if we could come in. The man at the bar actually made eye contact when we peered in, then chose to ignore us. Nice welcome! It's like they didn't want us there. THAT should have been a warning sign that I wished I had not ignored. After we did walk in, we were basically plonked at a table near the bar. Then promptly left on our own. No explanation of the menu/how to get food etc. After five minutes of awkwardly sitting there I asked for a menu. To which I was then told about the self-service aspect of the place and then the price. Why on earth was this not communicated to us when we sat down? Through out our lunch we heard the whole entirety of the loud conversation of two staff members. It felt felt like we were intruding on their space aAt one point these two staff members were so concerned with taking selfies of themselves that our empty dishes were not taken away, making our tiny booth table cluttered and so I had to take them up to the counter myself. It was very much as though they felt 'above ' us and not worth their attention as they took their selfies. The worst is yet to come though... the staff member cheekily put a £4.50 'optional tip' on the bill. I didn't have the energy to argue or question. I would have been happy to have paid this had there actually been any service, but there in fact was none at all. I just hope this tip went to the kitchen staff as the food was good. Avoid at all costs. Really rude disrespectful staff who have no manners and no idea how to offer the bare minimum in acceptable customer service. I doubt they will even read this review or take notice of it.

We popped in as the Tapas selection looked great from outside...We were warmly greeted and the menu explained to us by the friendly server. We had a selection of hot Tapas and 3 drinks for £48, enjoyed everything we had, liked the quirky environment and friendly casual vibe, would definitely return.... although some of the plates could do with refilling a bit faster when the restaurant is full.

What a fabulous restaurant, tucked away on Neil St, only a small place but certainly packs a punch. Fabulous food and a great concept of helping yourself to the tapas. The staff were brilliant, great night out!

The food is incredible, I didn't have anything bad. We also continued to cocktails which were amazing, strong and very tasty.

We did the Sunday offer with all you can eat and drink and I would highly recommend it. The service was very good, they basically give you the bottle of cava and you help yourself. You don’t have to wait for the waiter to serve you. Regarding the service, there was a young woman and Spanish guy from Huelva who were both fab, super friendly and very helpful.<br />The cava was very easy to drink. The pintxos were good and they had a vast variety. Perhaps I would have liked some seafood / fish. Overall a nice place for a Sunday lunch.

This place is my favourite for Spanish tapas. I love them . You can do all you can eat for lunch , or you can pay only what you eat . I love the atmosphere cause is relaxed. The food is tasty and very reach of idea and not only bread. The make meatballs, cheese, gazpacho, cake. Amazing, I love it. The staff is nice and kind. I reccomend this place !

Great place for fast and tasty food. However, not a lot of choice for gluten-free diners.

Nice atmosphere and the concept of a variety of tapas plates from which to help yourself is good except that in our experience it was clear that some of the dishes had been out on the hot plates for a while and so was not fresh, and in some cases the food was dried out and a bit tired looking. Some of the hot food was not very hot. <br /><br />Also the backless high stools were not very comfortable to sit on for the duration of the meal, particularly for my elderly parents. <br /><br />All in all the experience was ok but the food could have been better, as could the wine and beer options.

I have eaten here twice in the last fortnight. Both times the food has been excellent - delicious, reasonably priced, and as authentic as I found in the Basque Country. The atmosphere is intimate and friendly, and for a quick meal (you can help yourself straight away) it is ideal.

Popped in for a quick glass of wine and a quick bite to eat. All the food was amazing especially the croquettes. Lovely staff- especially the young lad in the hat. Can’t wait to come back again.

Great food at reasonable cost, friendly staff and good location. Sat opposite bar at table/chairs which are attached with the wall which was ok for short stay very tight squeeze.

Authentically Spanish but not entirely Basque like I was hoping for (as I could have gone to numerous tapas places in London), and some of the food sadly went cold quickly when taken away from the heat lamp. But it was well made and tasty! And the menu did seem disappointingly limited but I guess they were focusing on quality over quantity.<br /><br />Service was friendly and quick and the list of cocktails was enjoyable. I wasn&#039;t a fan of the compact booths they have for 2 diners. It is intimate but quickly becomes uncomfortable and awkward when trying to enjoy your food.<br /><br />All in all though, my date and I enjoyed our evening and I probably would send friends here to dine.

Great atmosphere with good food and drink!!

We visited this restaurant on a Friday evening. Was great food. However the “manager” befriended us and bought us drinks plus one for him, chatted and had a drink with us. He said he would bring complementary shots to our table after our meal. Which we saw him bring to every table. We waited. Nothing. We then asked for the bill to see that he had charged us £12 extra for the drink he had. And returned with no shots. We think this bar knows exactly what they are doing to add extra drinks to your bill. Be very vigilant! Shocking behaviour.

This is my new favourite. Front of house team especially Scott make it warm and friendly and then you just go with the flow of the self service style tapas.

Hard to find good pinxos anywhere outside of Spain. So what a delight it was to find this place. Very decent array of choices. Go during happy an indulge in their 15P special.

The “all you can eat” at lunch for £15 seemed too good to miss. However by the time we had the mandatory glass of wine, coffee and paid service the bill was almost £60 for two. We felt it was expensive as we were not hungry. If you go there and have a large appetite it is well worth while. The place is small and has a great character with friendly staff. The tapas are all on display and look appetising but we were the the only diners. Portions are hot and cold and in general what you would find in a mid-range Spanish bar. There is a good selection including cod, smoked salmon, chorizo and a variety of desserts. All very enjoyable but not particularly memorable. I shall return with a good appetite.

Had the honey glazed cod croquettes and patatas bravas from the hot counter, neither were even remotely warm.

Our favourite Tapas bar. Authentic tasty food served the way tapas should be - graze as you wish. This was the first time we&#039;ve booked a table - usually we&#039;ve just walked in later in the evening but made it the main event of the night this time not just a post theatre snack. Waiter was great, welcoming and gave us the chance to sample the red wines (he&#039;s not daft - we chose a more expensive one!) Arriba, abajo, al centro, adentro!<br />Had a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxed evening. Will be back soon

We visited at the weekend for my partners birthday and had no idea what to expect as it was our first time visiting Pix. From the minute we walked in we were made to feel welcome by Scott and the rest of the team , we were explained the setup straight away and the experience just got better from then on. We had a great seat right next to the bar so could see what delights were coming out next. The staff were all so friendly and made the place feel fun and lively, It was nice to watch the staff enjoy their job. The food was amazing, always fresh and tasted so nice, great way to try new things and a real nice experience.
