Pitta Hub in Stevenage

This is by far the best Greek in leicester, gyros are banging,customer service is on point and it’s in a perfect area right in the middle of town 10/10 🔥😮‍💨

We weren’t sure when we first went in as it was empty but I’m so glad we did because the food and the staff are amazing. We both got the meal deal as well as an halloumi side and it was well priced and very tasty!!

Generally the food is nice can’t fault it but I only had chips and bread, the tzatziki was particularly well done … but I paid £5.50 for essentially and handful of chips and bread which was 60p less than if I had chicken or pork inside … after querying it i was told that they do not have anything on there menu that they could put it through the till as so had charged me for a kids meal …. I feel like this should have been explained before my food was prepared as I felt obliged to pay it at this point and left feeling quite disappointed as I said the food was nice but not worth £5.50

We were recently in Stevenage New Town and discovered a new Greek restaurant / takeaway. We had a pork and a chicken souvlaki and sat indoors, the meals come with Greek salad, chips, warm pita bread and dips. I really like Greek food and was not disappointed, this has only ever tasted better when we were visiting a genuine Greek island. I knocked my coke can off the table and the owner quickly cleared the mess and provided another can free of charge - I didn't expect it for free, but there was no fuss or bother, that’s great service. There’s also outdoor seating as well for summertime. If you like Mediterranean food, then you’ll like this restaurant.

The place looks impeccable and the staff are friendly. I went with my husband, he had the pork gyros and I had the chicken one - both were really good, and the ingredients and sauces were nice and fresh. Plus the prices are very accessible so overall would definitely recommend

Very busy when we went in, maybe as it is a new business and has recently opened. We got seats, there are few, as most customers were getting a takeaway. The food was delicious. I went for roasted veg with a pitta bread and my husband had a pork wrap, with chips. I made the mistake of placing my order, then going off to use the loo. My Husband didn't actually place an order. We ended up with a chicken wrap and a pork wrap. The erson serving us must have misheard and I didn't realise the veggie menu had wrap with the same name as the main menu. To be fair, I'm quietly spoken and the place was busy. When I complained I was quickly given a veggie wrap, no problem. It was cold in Pitta Hub, as the door was open. Probably better to eat in when the weather is warmer. Would be great as a takeaway any time of year though.
