PitStop Cafe in Birmingham

They don't offer the choice of white or brown bread, they only appear to serve white bread for sandwiches or toast. Food doesn't have much flavour, it's quite bland. If you're vegan/vegetarian, they cook all food in the same area! People have walked out because of this. Not the greatest, however for a quick/cheap breakfast, it's reasonable.

The person that owns the cafe needs to close it worse, cafe I have ever been to think they need to hang up their cooking shoes

First time I've used this place and will the last, first of all the table wobbled like crazy so had to move tables, door was open and the place was to cold meaning and sit in out coats to eat Asked for brown bread and was given white, then forgot to put tomato's on my mom's sandwich they did remember and gave them gave us in bowl so had open sandwich and spoon them on ourselves Then finally checked if I could pay card when arrived went to pay and was asked to follow me and had pay three doors up the local chip shop with no explanation or apology why I needed todo this So all in all a not a great visit shame as the food wasn't bad Five things going wrong on one visit is not great customer service and needs to be sorted

Clean cafe freindly staff nice food reasonably priced dont rush you nice relaxed atmosphere they have a tv so u can watch tv and eat ur breakfast nice place

went into this cafe and i must say its brilliant, friendly staff and great food, exceptionally clean just reading some of these bad reviews and i find this to be totally unfair ok they dont bring the tea to you so what how hard is it to get up and get it yourself i find these reviews to be very picky. waiting times for food can vary depending how busy they are at orders overall i have no complaints .

Local gem, good food freshly cooked, good price, plenty of it. Staff helpful and friendly. Used repeatedly by the locals, clean and well maintained. A great greasy spoon without the grease.

I went into the cafe just after 1pm today. I ordered a toasted cheese and onion sandwich. I was told to take a seat it would be just a few mins. There were very few people in the cafe so they must have been busy on delivery orders. It took around 30 mins. The waiting time was stupid even though I had an apology, I couldn't eat it before my client arrived and the price crazy! £3.50 from a cafe for a toastie! It should have come with a side salad but nothing green in sight. Not impressed at all!

My husband and I go here regularly for a cooked breakfast. We would recommend this place, the food is cooked fresh and is very nice and hot. The cleanliness is good and staff cheerful.

Like a good hearty breakfast and stopped here on the way to see to our horses. Nice clean cafe. Ordered our breakfast and waited. Lady serving seemed harrassed and said she would bring our tea and coffee over. Breakfast eventually came but, had to ask again for our drinks told they were coming. Husbands plate was banged down! Went back to get more milk for cofffee and given dirty look from waiter. Clearly once you have been served you are done and dusted. Shame really as the good was quite good. Other customers were asking where items were and being told 'its coming'. Waiter and waitress chatting and clearly not Sunday morning people!

Clean and nice looking place. No serviettes anywhere.. Tea - terrible. They don’t bother to bring it to you, it was weak and cold. Sandwich- could have made a better one at home tbh. Wasn’t wonderful. For nearly 10 quid for two basic sandwiches and two teas expected a little more... shame mollys wasn’t open...

I went here last night after I went to a gif last night and was impressed. The service was quick and the chicken was the best fried chicken I have ever had.

Popped into this place for the first time today. Went for the very reasonably priced mini breakfast (sausage, bacon, beans, egg, tomato and B&B / toast and tea / instant coffee) for £3.50 which was delicious, but couldn't resist leaving without a piece of the lemon drizzle cake seeing as it was only 70p. OH. MY. GOODNESS. Absolutely amazing and an absolute steal. As I'm trying to cut back on the sweet things, I'm glad I don't live more locally because that could otherwise become a regular occurrence!

not enough staff always wait to long for your meal but the owner tries to be helpful when she can go there quite often the breakfast is priced reasnable

very clean a little laid back but on whole good brekie had wait few mins but was worth it quite reasonable

I visited this cafe looked nice and clean .There was 4 people waiting for food when I ordered.They made me wait over 40 mins for my breakfast but brought out the wrong breakfast .Then they brought the correct breakfast that I ordered and brought toast with it and asked if I ordered toast? (I ordered bread and butter) at this point I just said yes so I could eat my breakfast Will not be going again

Rara vez tuvimos la oportunidad de comer aquí, pero cuando surge la oportunidad siempre voy por el tocino y champiñones sándwich, lleno de un montón de setas y un buen par de calidad lonchas siempre recién cocinado.

En principio queríamos el desayuno vegetariano pero pedimos zumo de naranja en vez de té, café y zumo de naranja pero me dijeron que sería un coste adicional, aunque zumo de naranja era más barato que las bebidas calientes. Así que entonces pedí un chocolate caliente con el desayuno y me dijeron que sería un cargo extra por eso también. Obviamente no estaba dispuesto a complacer al cliente. Al final me pidió el sandwich el halloumi a la asado a la parrilla. La persona que me pregunte si no quería blanco o marrón pan tan sólo me dio este horrible más barato del pan blanco barato. Hay un cargo extra si quieres pan decente. Mi pareja tuvo un té en una taza que parecía muy rallado en el exterior y él fue a ayudar a sí mismo del azúcar de un jacuzzi común abierta en el mostrador - no sean demasiado limpio. Sería mejor si había una taza de azúcar en cada mesa. En general muy impresionado. Sin duda no volveré allí de nuevo. estado en mejores cafés de desayuno cerca, donde el servicio y la comida es mejor calidad.

Vinimos aquí por primera vez el sábado por la mañana, el café era relativamente ocupado con una mezcla de diferentes personas. Pedimos 2 mini desayunos que creo que vienen con la cantidad justa de artículos y a un precio muy razonable. No me puedo quejar de la comida, el precio o el personal. Sin duda volveremos.

Just had a 'regular' breakfast. My first visit to The Pit Stop, and hopefully not my last! Well cooked food. Premises spotless. Food was cooked while I waited (not long). Served on a hot plate, and remained hot while I cleared my plate!
