Not Greek- should not be using Greek descriptions on their food. Overpriced and tasteless. Oil needs changing! Left a horrible odour on hands and mouth after eating. I don’t think their was more than 2 cubes of meat in the “souvlaki” - very disappointed

I would have loved to say that this is a brilliantly cheap Grecian cafe with delicious food. But the service was so ridiculously sluggish and slack, the wait staff so unfriendly that I gave up after 10 minutes waiting to be shown a table, asked for a menu and an order

We've had a couple of take-away from here and to be honest they've been very good. The quality of the meat is good and well cooked and portions are good value for money. The only down side is the use of mayonnaise in the wraps, traditionally its tzatziki in wraps, but apart from that very good.

Picked up an order this evening for my family, including my pregnant wife who had a craving for a chicken pita wrap. Was very specific about that particular order as I changed the sauce. Order was incomplete as my wife’s chicken pita wrap was missing. Was told I was not charged for it. Guess that’s ok then. Will not be having my custom again.

The best part was the lettuce! Horrible after taste, over priced and terrible quality meat. When we went in to order our food while in tier 4, the staff let customers in while not wearing masks, although it does say on the front door for all customers to wear masks, the staff did not in force this making us feel unsafe.

We first tried Pita Time as a take away and the 2 souvlaki sandwiches took an absolute age to be prepared. They were worth the wait as they were very tasty, one chicken and one lamb. Traditional Greek food has a lot of oregano and this was missing from our food. The staff are very cold and slow. The next time we sat down in the restaurant and sadly the food took a terribly long time, the starter even arrived with the main meal. Again the lack of oregano shows the chefs lack the authenticity of Greek cooking. The staff while dinning in were again cold, talking among themselves and so incredibly slow. I hope they improve their food, service and mannerisms as this place has the potential to be a great success.

I went along to Pita Time last night and for a restaurant that advertises a family friendly place, it could not be further from the truth. The staff were not rude, as reported elsewhere, but were indifferent...no smiles, welcome or indeed communication. I am glad I knew in advance these people were Albanians and not Greeks, as I find Greek people to be the most friendly and accommodating. The thing that really shocked me though was at 8pm the place was full, not a seat vacated and full of only young males...not one female, it was like being in a gay bar ! That wasn't why I was shocked though, it was because there was no social distancing and the owners had allowed everybody to squeeze in for profit, instead of safety. Anyhow the most important thing : The Food. I ordered the spit roast lamb and it came unannounced with chips, but on opening the box back at my house I found the lamb to be pieces of bone with lots of fat...it looked like the scrap ends of a joint. Also they advertised it as spit roast, it was indeed oven cooked with no smokey BBQ flavour at all. The chips were nicely cooked, but as I had noticed, had been left in a steel tray and had gone soft. As reported elsewhere the meal was also cold and we had to warm in in the oven. Not a good start I am afraid and it's a shame, as the area needs a good restaurant of this genre.

First time visit. Glad I didn't read TA review before I went in, else I would have missed a nice place to eat on the high street. The deco is a bit tacky. But the food quality was good. I have pit roasted lamp on bone, come with salad and chips and warm pita bread. Not convinced about the chilli sauce. Service was prompt and normal, none of the rudeness mentioned by earlier patrons. My guess is there had been teething issues at the beginning and now it has improved. I like the casual set up where you can grab some bites and drinks.

Wandered down here with a mate, instantly hostile towards us. Service took an age, and i spent 10 minutes looking for the meat inside the pita bread. Eventually i found some and it had no taste, it was like a chewing gum that had lost its flavour. An absolute shambles of an establishment that when you ask for a drink they all stare at you as if you out of order. Need's replacing with a Proper Greek restaurant as it is giving the nation a bad name having people like these represent their great history and tradition. Oh and it cost a fortune as well no change out of a score note. Pony

Restaurant was busy at lunch. Impressively a whole suckling pig was being roasted on a horizontal spit.Lamb Chicken and Pork on vertical spits .We just had a wrap on lovely Greek flatbread with salad and chips .Food was good .Welcome and service is poor compared to a Turkish restaurant .It's a cafe style informal style take us as we are joint .I would go again or have takeaway. Local restaurant customers can take advantage if you are too obliging so maybe they give customers short shrift on that basis .The food was worth trying other dishes next time and if it's busy maybe the chaotic well meaning service and disinterested doorman / manager / proprietor could become an accepted amusement .It's early days so things can change for the better it worse as it has been open just a month or so .Do try and report your own findings .

Unfortunately the food wasnt great and was overpriced for what it was. The shisha was decent and we got regular coal changes. The toilets are situated in Boga steak house next door, these were the most weirdest toilets ever, with no locks and in 2/3 of the stalls the door could not shut. In the one stall that the door could shut, the light did not work. Friendly and lovely staff, 10/10 service very welcoming! just a shame about the other things.

In a nutshell this is the best Turkish restaurant I've ever been to! This is also my favorite turkish restaurant. Customer Service is always top notch and the food is great and always keeps me coming back for more. The dining facilities and toilets are all very clean. Also the restaurant decor looks really stylish. The food portions are also decent considering the prices and you get a complimentary Turkish tea at the end of your meal :) The waiters are all really attentive, nothing is too much to ask. There is free parking outside the restaurant but when it's busy it can be a bit difficult to find a space. Thank you Gokyuzu I will be back when I'm in the area.
