The cafe is closed, this is now just a petrol station with a garage forecourt. Lorry park still open, charges £20 to park on a litter strewn yard, no showers and only one toilet in the garage which was dirty and had no paper when I called there. Owner rude and arrogant. Avoid unless you're absolutely desperate. There is space for a good thirty trucks there , there were about six when I visited which tells you everything you need to know.

I stopped here for breakfast on my way to Cornwall on 21 August 2017. There was adequate parking right outside during rush hour. As someone who avoids motorway service areas because they invariably overcharge for everything whilst simultaneously managing to serve up some of the worst food you can eat, the Pit Stop at Swann service station is a breath of fresh air. For just £4.95 I had the single breakfast which consisted of 1 each of bacon, sausage, black pudding, hash brown, egg, tinned plum tomatoes, baked beans, toast and a mug of tea. The ingredients were decent quality but simple i.e. not your usual pink death sausage and soggy toast. This is just the kind of fuel I need to sustain me on a long road trip and the Pit Stop will be my go-to stop off on the M5 in the future. The dining area was clean and airy, with daytime tv and some newspapers to divert you during your meal should you wish. clean toilets too. The adjoining petrol station will save you 10-15p per litre compared to service station prices. They are open daily 5:30 AM until 10 PM. Whether travelling alone or with my family, very highly recomended.

Have been here several times. Typical 'truck stop' food served well & quickly. They also do daily specials which look very good. Great value. Always full of HGV drivers who have come off the M5 deliberately to use this place. They are the UK's most 'critical' critics so the fact they use this place so much tells you all you need to know !

Have passed the Pit Stop on many occasions as our son lives in Redditch. We have intended calling in for a meal for ages but never seemed to get round to it. However, we did go in last Wednesday 17th. My husband had the all-day breakfast and I had cod, chips & peas. Both meals were excellent, although I really struggled to finish mine I was determined to do so - as it was SO GOOD!!! There were a few truckers in but we didn't feel out of place - as all are welcome. It is clean, the staff are very friendly and accommodating, but most of all the food is freshly cooked and very good - a lesson that I feel a lot of "posh restaurants" would benefit from learning. IF YOU GET THE CHANCE - CALL IN!!!

Stopped of here for breakfast on our way to Cornwall, & we where not disappointed at all, I had the small breakfast & struggled to finish it also they did items to order for the rest of the family. Great value & service with a smile. Well worth the small diversion to find the Pitstop Cafe.

Both bitters were off, some food was cold and undercooked, waitress very helpful, however let down by the kitchen staff.
