Best burgers ever!! Food is delivered on time and hot. Chips do not need anything added just love this food. We have introduced this to friends who have gone on to order again.

Food is excellent, quick delivery and a very friendly delivery driver. Will go here again and again.

Food was amazing, me and the lads fancied a cheeky one and it was definitely cheeky yk, defo worth your pay check. Also great delivery, took about an hour tho ;( would cop one after my shift but they close at 9pm

Visited pirates today for a delicious meal. Just arrived on spec after doing a google search. Couldn’t see where to go in at first, but once we found it, we were welcomed by a lovely lady. We had a delicious meal, Fajitas, Burritos and a cheeseburger. All 3 meals were delicious, well presented & served in a nice clean dining room. Friendly waitress, great service. I shall return next time I am in the area! 👍👍

Visited pirates for roast and opted for pork. All cooked to perfection. Followed by the custard caramel sponge which was delicious.. Well recommended

Highly recommended this place, some amazing food and amazing service. Prices are very reasonable and would definitely visit again. Portions are big so be hungry when you arrive. Hot dog and chips a real winner. Pierogi amazing

We had the Black Beard burger, a fajita and caramel sponge, which were delicious. Very reasonably priced. Basic interior and the exterior could put you off, but well worth a quick bite - across between a bar meal and a basic restaurant. Warm and smiling host.

Have had many dishes from pirates and have never had a complaint! Every dish arrives hot via their take away delivery service! When you eat in the staff are always amazing and will cater to your needs to the best they can ;) Last night we tried the scallywag burger well my mouth is watering as I think of it lol I think that’s enough said Devine! Had dinner at Pirates Galley on Thursday and we both had the lamb shanks - oh my goodness, they were absolutely delicious. Always great value for money here with good priced drinks via the Conservative Club too. Can’t recommend Pirates Galley highly enough.

Yesterday myself and my daughter went for an unplanned lunch. We both thought our the service was second to none and the food was perfect 👌🏻. It is also very affordable and thet were very generous with there portions. I would highly recommend this place for food & drinks 😋

We came here after our sons POP and it really delivered. I had pork stroganoff and my husband the lamb shanks. Just delicious really could not find fault. Would recommend highly . Come down past the corner to entrance at side of building. 😍❤️

We have now had our fourth meal in the restaurant at Pirates and every one of them has been superb, from sirloin steak with all the trimmings and keema lamb curry through to burgers and roast dinners. The service, quality of food and value for money are all superb. We have also had their kebabs delivered to us at home and because they only deliver to one address at a time, the food is literally straight from their kitchen to yours and is always piping hot. Oh, and their Ferraro Rocher and white chocolate cheesecake is to die for!! Thanks and well done Pirates!

Me and the wife had a takeaway from here and just wow everything was delicious I had the mixed kebab and the wife had the fish cakes and we licked our plates clean there was nothing wasted. Top notch. We can't wait to try out the whole menu. The delivery guy was a nice friendly chap too.

Ordered takeaway recently and was not disappointed. We ordered by phone to pick up and didn't have a long wait. We had 2 burgers, both came with fries and onion rings and both were exceptional. The Pirates Cheese Burger and The Blackbeard Burger (pictured below), both big and tasty! Great value for money as well!

We've had the take out and dine in and it's been hansom everytime, brilliant food with great pricing, you won't go home hungry!!!

Every time we come to Cornwall we have to get an order from Pirates. The bounty burger is to die for. Huge portions for really good prices. So so so tasty, and the service is amazing every time - both delivery and in the restaurant!!

Absolutely amazing food. We were told that if we came to Torpoint that we should go to Pirate’s Galley becuase they do fantastic food for a reasonable price and we were not disappointed at all. Would highly recommend going there. We will definitely be coming back!

I (an OAP) went with granddaughter & her fiancée (the younger generation), and we all found food we liked. It was well cooked, well presented, and tasted delicious. The staff were polite and helpful, modifying the menu selections to suit personal tastes by replacing individual items with something different.

Just had pirates veggie breakfast delivery can’t fault it huge portion great value for money. Eggs cooked exactly as asked and delivered with a smile. Will 100% be back for more.

I quite often get food from pirates and the food is always to a great standard. The staff are friendly and very helpful. I definitely recommend Pirates for sit down food or delivered to home. We often order big orders for the office at work and the timing is brillaint. Definitely up there as one of the best places to eat in Torpoint. keep up the hard work guys

Have eaten at pirates many times and have never had a bad meal! Loads of variety across the menu, different burgers, kebabs, pasta dishes and a nice selection of sides. I also enjoy the many different accompanying sauces on offer. On a Sunday the roast on offer is delicious! The service has always been great. Can’t recommend enough

Absolutely love this place , the food always comes out piping hot, and tastes amazing and the customer service here is outstanding, we love that pirates is now on Macey street as its just by the ferry so we pop in for dinner and a few drinks on are way home from work on a Friday early evening which is ideal to get your weekend started

Pirates restaurant is a lovely and welcoming place to eat. They have a fantastic selection of foods available, all of which are full of flavour and always a firm favourite with my family. Home delivery’s are always fast and still hot on arrival.

I just had the chicken and bacon salad and I have never had a salad with more meat than salad, usually the plate is stuffed with lettuce! Our meals were amazing - we will be back again soon.

12 of us have recently visited again for a family meal ages 2 to 60ish. Everyone ordered something different and it all came out the same time and tasted fantastic. Staff chatty and polite. Very simple; had the takeaway chicken kebab, one of the most delicious takeaways ever. Freshly cooked chicken in a lovely herb:spice rub, plenty of it too. Lovely salad and chips. As takeaways go, hard to beat.

The title says it all . . Beautiful chicken kebab for myself and cheese burger for my partner. Fries are amazing as is the coleslaw. Staff lovely and now it's being served at the Cons club it means you can have a beer or 2 with your food. . Keep up the fab work!

The staff were very friendly. As the food is cooked from fresh, do not expect it immediately. We only had to wait about 15/20 mins. It was very tasty and hot. Certainly not small portions so make sure your hungry.

Takeaway- Various people I've spoken to love this place and their reviews and comments on Facebook are always really good. We ordered our first and were not very impressed, the chips were extremely disappointing they use frozen chips, which were also undercooked. The whole meal was pretty underwhelming and below par to what we expected, not the worst but not great. Also there's really not much variety on their menu and only a few vegetarian options. Perhaps we'll try again in the future as what we received does not reflect all the positive reviews etc we have read and heard.

The food was ok, edible, standard cafe food, but the service was poor. Arrived at 1.30 on a Sunday and it wasn’t rammed, there were maybe two tables before us, we ordered food and weren’t told there would be an excessive wait. Our food took an hour to arrive and no one apologised to us despite apologising to everyone around us who had been waiting far less time. We had my son with us who is 18 months old but there were no high chairs so I had to sit with him on my knee which would have been fine for a short amount of time but trying to keep a toddler sat still on your knee for an hour is impossible. By the time the food arrived we were all ready to leave. Disappointed as I’d heard positive reviews but I won’t bother again.

I have had a breakfast from here a couple times and never had an issue until recently. The last couple times I have ordered the food has been awful. The whole meal was very salty and over cooked and the toast was more like bread and butter, it was also just as cold!

Had a lunch here a week ago and it was spot on. The service was fab. Food tasty and priced well. Whilst we were there someone had the chicken kebab. That looked yummy. Went down for lunch. My wife had the chicken kebab and I had a chicken and bacon salad. Both were really tasty and less than 7.00 each, great value on top of really tasty food, a little gem in Torpoint. They deliver too.

I eat here regularly and the all day breakfast is always as good as the last time. The food is cooked to order, fresh and plenty of it. A full English (2 bacon, 2 sausages, fried egg, mushrooms, hash brown, tomato, beans, toast/ fried bread and a hot drink is only £5.50 and they use good quality, fresh ingredients.

Came on a recommendation and it took a little finding. Small interesting space but surprisingly busy. Friendly, good value, unexpectedly wide selection. They also do deliveries of eg breakfasts and lunches. Affable and efficient lady who we presumed was the owner. A lot of effort has been put into this new enterprise and from the appreciation and numbers of local customers there when we came in, it looks as if the formula and effort are a winner.
