Place is a joke ordered 1930 called up 2130 to chase food cancellation don't take on orders you can't achieve , joke of. A place.

Not like it used to be portion size a lot smaller chicken very chewy and went in the bin chips had no salt and vinegar lack of sauce in the meal

Ordered via Just eat yesterday and although food arrived on time and hot etc I could not help but think when portion sizes arrived that we had been truly ripped off!! £9 for rice?? Nearly £3 for a curry sauce? I got special fried rice and the special I presume was the small bit of egg with a prawn in it that was layed on top but £9 I really was expecting more? £4 for a chop suey roll it was just dripping in fat not nice at all, sad times I’ve used Pings b4 I won’t lie but the prices have gone thru the roof and quality is in the basement, can I just note that via just eat even the delivery/service charge was £4 seriously? Other places literally next to Pings charge £1.50/£2 for delivery via same app? Never again? Cust of living etc I understand price rises but£9 for rice and only thing special in my opinion was a small prawn that’s a rip off!!

Chips are frozen from Iceland , salt and pepper chicken raw inside , bbq sauce and gravy like dishwater , very disappointed ordered £40 of food it arrived in around 8 minutes too quick to be cooked fresh ! Avoid this chippy it’s horrible !!!!

We have been getting our takeaways from here for a long time now. Lovely lady who answers the phone so nice . We had a issue last year over our prawn toast as my partner nearly chocked on it as we found a huge bone in it so we complain all they said sorry. Quiet upset so we hadnt order from them for a while. So last Tuesday we decided to give here another go as I was going to hosptial for a operation . Anyway we spent £30. Well is was awful. I had chicken chow mein and the chicken was like slop mush the noodles weren't fresh all stuck together mushy. My partner had special fried rice as he always gets this time Hardly any egg on top hardly any meat when theres normally loads and rice was mushy so appointment if there a new chef you need to change . Was totally appauling . We have spent alot of money over the year here and our phone orders are never small. Totally disappointed and wont be returning this time.

Three hours for food to arrive, stone cold, incredibly rude staff when I rang to check where my order was. If they don’t want customers via Just Eat they shouldn’t be on the platform rather than abusing customers. Go ANYWHERE else

They must drive past half a dozen or so takeaways to deliver to me. They have been superb. I notice a few negative reviews of recent and I must admit I had a poor meal from them recently. Keep up the good work and don't change anything! Chicken not good recently

I bought dinner for myself and my mum from Ping’s House as a treat. We’ve been to Ping’s many times before and always enjoyed it. My mum’s order was sweet and sour chicken with egg fried rice and as soon as she ate it she started to feel very sick. She hasn’t been able to sleep or eat anything since and is currently being sick. My mum has multiple heath conditions and I’m so upset that this has happened to her, when it could have been so easily avoided. My message to Ping’s House - PLEASE check your food before you send it out to your customers. You have a responsibility as a food supplier to ensure that your food is safe to eat, please take this seriously.

Sorry to say, but the quality of food has gone right downhill. We ordered a large meal over the Christmas period when the Family was here. would have to say that half the meals (particularly the Chow Mein & the beef dishes), weren't eaten. The beef was tougher than leather and had absolutely zero taste. The Chow Mein dishes were flavourless and very very dry (not sure how long they had been cooked before serving). The Fried rice dishes also, were fairly tasteless - never seen brown fried rice... We have ordered here a number of times, but the last 2 meals we have had have been terribly disappointing. Wont bother going again

I am a front line worker, worked for a 12 hour shift after getting home from a long day, i decided i would like a nice chinese meal from pings, i was greated by i think was the owner who has no people skills whatsoever, after we had complained that she had got the order wrong, we were just asking for her to verify that she had completed the wrong order, as she had made the mistake as leaving us as a meal short, she was very rude and completely dismised that she had made a mistake and cut of the phone call immediately, absolutely the wrong way to deal with anyone, nevermind someone who has been in theatre all day with covid 19 patients absolutely disgusted with them and will never ever use this takeaway again.

The food tonight was awful ! Char sui was so hard u couldn't when chew it, the rice was glued together and the chips were terrible (mainly burnt ) think il give it a miss next time

I have never had a bad or even average meal from Ping’s in over 3 years. Absolutely lovely food every time, shop is spotlessly clean and the lady who owns the shop and serves there is always friendly and very polite. Wouldn’t use any other Chinese Takeaway.

Food used to always come Hot and fresh but not anymore phoned to complain the chips were inedible and meals were cold but they thought they were doing me a favour sending me some more chips half hour after meal had finished told driver I didn't want them ! Theyv lost a customer who has been using them for a couple of years and this seems be the the norm by other reviews

Salty special chow mein with what I think was supposed to be beef & chicken… ??!!?? Meat was cheap and had a slimy layer on it. (?fat) sorry didn’t tick the box for me

Still digesting it but had to review as to how lovely it was! Taste is so fresh, not like some Chinese’s that are full of MSG. I had the crispy shredded chilli beef, it was perfectly crispy, with just the right amount of sauce as I personally don’t like it drenched. I also had a portion of the won ton, amount I got could have fed an entire family so great value, but it was also absolutely unreal taste wise, not had anything like it before! All in all delicious and wouldn’t hesitate to order again. Good also arrived promptly, well under the expected delivery window, can’t fault anything

We have been going to Pings since it opened and have never been disappointed, however the meal we had last night prompted me to write - it was exceptional. Great tasting food and wonderful value. The portions are so generous that we could not eat it all. No problem however, it is so fresh that "heat ups" for Monday night's tea is squarely on our agenda. - Without doubt the best Wirral takeaway we have experienced (and we have had a few).

Lovely food 1st time I wasn't very impressed but it was lovely this time. We would definitely order again soon

Ordered today and called to advise they'd got the order wrong. Lady was rude and said she'd read the order back having previously said she'd find out who took the order as it wasn't her. Will take my custom to someone who deserves it.

Lovely lockdown takeaway! Really nice delivery driver and it came half an hour early which was great. The food was piping hot and really tasty. Generous portions and will continue to visit from now on!

We ordered for 6.30 this evening & the meal arrived at 6.32 The delivery guy was polite & kept his distance. The food was hot and really tasty - will definitely be ordering from here again.

Do not go here! worst Chinese set meal i have ever had in my life!I rang up to complain because there were items missing from the order she was very rude,and obnoxious. PS what we did try and eat was inedible anyway,threw it in the bin! You have been warned!!

Thought we would give this a try rung our order in they said it would be a 2 hour wait not bad in this climate it came in 1 hour piping hot and delicious i Will use this more often well done pings

Our usual Chinese takeaway was closed tonight due to Covid-19, so we decided to try this one. Best decision we could have made. The food was delivered on time, was lovely and hot, and so tasty. The portions are huge too!The lady who answered the phone to take our order was lovely, friendly and sounded so upbeat and happy, even though she said they were so busy at the moment.This place is an absolute gem, will definitely order from here again!

Just had a takeaway delivered, never ordered from here before, but they were able to deliver even through the Corona virus epidemic. We really enjoyed our meals, would definitely recommend and will start to use in the future. Thank you.

We orderered food on fri ,Salt pepper chicken peices . And salt and peper chips. Also one more dish of chicken fried rice. (Id like to call this dish fried rice (bit of chicken&bland) The other 2 dishes lacked peppers ,onions and chillis. On the saturday. We re ordered same dishes. But explained that we would enjoy if the salt and peppere chicken. An s/p chips had more peppers and onions mixed in. Again disspointed.Same dish with same lack of ingrediants. But lots of salt added ? This chinesse was one of the best on the wirral. But not anymore. Will not be ordering again from here.

Been going here for over two years and never had a bad meal. Ali is lovely friendly and the service has always been A1 The food is always hot plenty of it and never had a bad meal . :)

We have ordered for delivery from Ping’s House on a couple of occasions now and each time we have received good food and service. We’ve tried a few different starters and combinations as well as main meals, each time the food has arrived hot and well cooked.

Have used this take away, 3 times now and I have to say each time the food has been excellent. Cannot fault. This is our favourite Chinese take away at the moment.

I understand when a restaurant is busy, but after waiting 2 hours to say it is still cooking when I call, and for the response to be so rude, that is not acceptable. We have ordered from here nearly every week for months but I will not be ordering again. The food is good so it’s a shame but our evening entertaining was ruined, my sister went home starving and my poor young daughter was hungry.

We have been a few times and food is always good quality! They serve generous portions at low prices. Always enjoy our food. A new favourite.

I decided to buy a portion of chips while waiting for the bus. I nearly missed my bus as I waited so long. When they finally arrived I was given a tiny polystyrene carton of what looked and tasted like oven chips, priced £1.60. I can get a cone of chips at my local place for £1.00 with lots more and much better tasting chips. I was not asked if I wanted salt or vinegar. Very disappointing, will never visit there again.

We ordered the set menu very reasonably priced, had it delivered and the food was excellent for a takeaway.

It’s would have been nice but the Chicken chow mien had to much garlic raw garlic couldn’t eat it god help any one who comes near me !!! But everything else was fine

We bought 2 meals special fried rice and shrimp chow mein. Both were absolutely disgusting and bore no resemblance to any Chinese meal we have had before. We also bought starters prawn toast was thick with absolutely no taste. 99% of the meal went in the bin may as well have just thrown £20 in the bin. First and last time at this Chinese .

This is the second time I have reviewed this takeaway, when it first opened it was refreshing to have a good Chinese takeaway in the village but over the few years they have been there the food has become inconsistent. Tonight we ordered food to be delivered, we waited longer than promised and what a disappointment when it arrived, I chose Chicken Chow Mein -it tasted awful noodles overcooked slimy chunks of chicken not the norm, my daughter had Beef Curry which tasted very powdery and the meat we couldn't chew! my son & husband had Mixed meat fried rice which was bland and the rice overcooked. The only item which was good was the Sui Mai, will never use this takeaway again and I have phoned the owner to tell them this.

Having seen some of the negative reviews on here, I thought I'd write my own. Have never used their delivery service, which is what other people's criticisms seem to be about. On collecting my food, it was nice, probably one of the nicer takeaways in Upton, nothing amazing but Chinese Takeaway rarely is!

OK at first ! Don't know what meat their using ! Last meal was vile !!! Beef curry ? Roast duck dinner ? Dogs wouldnt eat it either

so, after waiting 1 hour and 50 minutes for my food. with no call off the restaurant to say it was gonna be late, and 2 phone calls, during which the woman tried to push a large Fanta off on me for the wait, off myself later.. the food arrives!! the food is of an adequate temperature, definitely not hot food. all the food tasted ok, aside from the shredded chicken in BBQ sauce, which was more chewy than chicken, and the BBQ was a spoonful at most. there's goes my 5.80 on a meal that I could've made and ruined myself at home for cheaper. thanks very much Ping House for the awful service! we won't be coming back.

Food was excellent / hot when delivered and fairly priced will definitely be ordering from here again !

Only been once but the food was fine, good selection and reasonable prices. Will definitely be back and easy parking outside.

Ordered from here for the first time, delivery was an hour which was ok as this was estimated on the website, delivery came which was delivered by a polite and cheerful delivery driver.

Food was delivered super fast, really hot and very tasty. Would highly recommend and will be ordering from again

Couldn't comment as to the quality of the food, ordered two hours ago and still haven't received any, several phone calls, constantly being told it's on the way..... terrible service.

We first went to Pings on its second day of opening. We were very impressed and we have been regulars ever since. The food has always been superb. My other half like things hot so we always ask for his meal to be made hotter and they kindly oblige. The couple who run it are lovely and nothing is too much trouble. So pleased they decided to open in Upton as it was sorely needing a good Chinese.

As a busy village for food, I thought this was going to a little different, can't say I will order again, nothing special about this Chinese takeaway

Friendly staff good food. ribs lovely I even place my order from the door walk the dog food ready even get free soup because it was cold brilliant

This takeaway has just opened and the food is excellent. It's a nice change not to hunt down a Chinese takeaway which offers good food, we have tried so many around the Wirral and they lose consistency or are just bad to start with!
